Can you have a local variable to handle wfm information?

I am very new to test stand. Can you have a local variable to handle wfm information?
Also how do you use parameters? Do you need to have a parameter of the same name in the main sequence and subsequence?

Parameters are one way you can pass data from a calling sequence to a subsequence. From the main sequence, right-click on your subsequence and select "Specify Module...". In the "Parameters" section of the dialog box, you should see any parameters that you have for your subsequence. You can then assign these subsequence parameters to have the same value as a parameter from the calling sequence, a local variable from the calling sequence, a constant, etc. In regards to your question about naming parameters, you do not need to have parameters of the same name in both the calling sequence and the subsequence, although you could have them be the same name.

My program has a lot of local variables. If I right click on a variable and click on "select item", a loooong list of all my local variables appears. They appear to be in the order in which they were created in my program.
Is there any way to modify the display to where the local variables appear in alphabetical order?

The best solution is to not use a lot of local variables . Here is a neat trick to use local variables without having to use local variables . If you are using a state machine (case structure inside a while loop), create a cluster constant on the block diagram inside a state or case called "Local Defs". Inside the cluster, put constants for every local variable you will use. Label the constants like you would a local variable. Put a shift register on the loop border. Wire the cluster to the shift register on the right side. Do not initialize the shift register on the left side. In any case frame, you can wire from the left shift register into an unbundle or bundle to read or write to the Local. You never have to call the Local Defs state, the cluster will be defined because of the wiring. If using controls at many places, make a local constant for each control and have a state where the control is written to the local. Then you can read the local to use the value at any time. See attached vi for an example.

I want to create a local variable from a boolean control, but it says that boolean latch actions are incompatible with local variables, but I need a way to check this boolean control in two differents loops, how can I do it?

Use global variables.
Compare them with a constant Boolean like F or T.
The result is true or false and then you can use it in a Cae-Loop.

Can you have more than one movie per page?

Hi, I am creating a web site and have some movie content on some of the pages. Can you have more than one quicktime file on each page? Reason I ask is that on one page I have put 3 movie files but only one shows up when I run the site online. I am not using .mac. The website is on grapeape dot co dot uk and if you look at the examples page you should see what I mean. I get one video that works and 2 large "Q"'s where the other videos were. Odd because it works locally. Any ideas? Many thanks.

My question is re: Mail service in Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server 10.6. Can you have an actual mailbox named Admin AND a postfix alias named Admin that goes to one or more other actual mailboxes? Or is only one or ther other? I have customer who currently has a bunch of mailboxes (info, admin, etc.) and those that need access to it do so via Mail client, etc. Now they are asking about aliases so they dont have to all access same mailbox, requiring setup, etc. Do I have to delete actual mailboxes in order to create Postfix aliases (admin, info, etc) or can they coexist?

Leads to me more questions, if you would be so kind. The client uses Virtual Hosts on Mac OS X Server and the aliases they desire are all @virtual_domain.com. So, do I create aliases via /etc/postfix/virtual or via /etc/postfix/aliases. As I said before, they desire aliases that go to at least 2 if not more actual local server accounts/mailboxes, but aliases are @virtual_domain.com.
For example: admin is local account on server @ main_domain.com. Now they want alias admin@virtual_domain.com that goes to local accounts Bob, Susan, etc.

You can have only one iCloud "user configuration" per local user on the Mac. Who the local user belongs to doesn't mind. Since it's a local user it's not related with who actually uses it. So let's say you want to set up Photo streaming using your iCloud user, just configure iCloud (under System Preferences) the same way you did on your phone and you're done.
But, beware: if you're only interested in synching photos, uncheck everything else when configuring iCloud on the Mac, otherwise you will merge, for example, your husband contacts, calendar and mail with those on your phone.
If you want to avoid any problems you can easily create another local user on the Mac with your name, under System Preferences, System, Users & Groups. After you create the user, logoff. The Mac will ask if you want to disable autologin (since there's more than one user that can log in now), answer yes and you will be presented with a logon screen. Click on your account name, insert the password and configure iCloud to sync with your phone.

You'll have to have an ID you all share in order to have a shared iCloud account. It would be sensible for each person to have their own ID and their own iCloud account for email and their own data (each would be on their own computer/iOS device or user account on a Mac) and then have a common account which everyone would sign into in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars to access shared data.
You don't want to be all using the email in a common account - if people are using email aliases remember these can't be detached from the account and transferred to another one. Having all your emails mixed up together can be somewhat impracticable.

If you want to share this things like music and app purchases you will have to to something else.
1. Create two user accounts on your Mac (user A and user B).
2. Create two iCloud accounts just for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, etc. (one for user A and one for user B):
On your Mac (with Mac OS X Lion or Mountan Lion):
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > iCloud > Create an Apple ID (button in left corner)
On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (iOS 5 or later):

Yes, you can. Apple IDs are really not meant to be shared.

The problem with making separate accounts is that this is a laptop, so likely not a huge hard drive, and if the three iTunes libraries need to have a lot of the same music (because everyone or two or three like some of the same stuff) you end up with double or triplicate copies of the music on the hard drive eating up drive space. Since they don't use his laptop normally, creating more accounts (with all the associated files and drive space usage each account would eat up) it probably isn't worth it.
Instead, the best approach is like Chris said, to make playlists for the girls in the main library and then set up the various iPod to either sync everything (if big enough) or sync only specific playlists (if not big enough).
Alternatively, they can set their iPods to manual syncing and then when Dad is visiting they can hook up their iPods and "shop" the library and drag in whatever they want to add to the iPods and delete what they no longer want.

My understanding is that the home sharing is based off of being on the same Wifi. So if someone brings their laptop to your house and connects to your Wifi and they have home sharing on they can connect so you can see his/her iTunes library on your iTunes.
I haven't tried this though. We have two laptops at home, both using my iTunes account and I can see each other's iTunes library, which I'm guessing is what you're probably doing now. I'd be interested to know if my thought above is true.
