Cancel after accept resources and delagetes
Hi Technet-users,
we have a Resource mailbox, so that we can schedule our vacations. A delegate approves or declines the meetings(vacations) which is working right. A problem occurs when the steps below occur.
userA creates a meeting with resourceA
UserB is delegate for the resource and receives an email, but doesn't accept or declines the meeting (the mail is unread)
UserA cancels the meeting.
UserB can still accept the meeting and gets no cancellation mail or something like that.
UserB accepts the meeting
The meeting is present in the calendar of ResourceA, but NOT of UserA
The problem here is that UserA isn't going on vacation, but ResourceA and the UserB still think he is.
Can anybody reproduce or even better: help me with this?

Hi Tim,
I did a test following your post. In the step 4, the approval message
is still in UserB’s mailbox which is marked unread. But when I open the message, there is a notification in the top of the message:
Received from Room1. This meeting is not in the Calendar; it may have been moved or deleted.
And there is no related meeting event in Room1’s Calendar. UserB should delete the request but not accept the meeting.
Then, if UserB accepted the meeting with “Send the Response Now”, UserA will receive the Accepted message but there is no related meeting event in UserA’s Calendar. However, the meeting event is in Room1’s calendar. So I think the issue is caused by
delegate’s wrong operation and the delegate should delete the empty meeting event instead of accepting it.

I've been a Uverse customer for 4 years, and a wireless one for longer than that. I moved a few weeks ago and had my uverse set up at the new house. The install technician was great, but the news of what I had was not so great. Long story short, the lines going to my house were not sufficient for reliable Uverse service. I was paying for the max turbo (24mbps) service at the old address, but due to line length and the AT&T engineer not wanting to give me a bonded pair port from the VRAD, I had to downgrade to 12mbps service and only if I wasn't watching more than one HD channel. I gave it a good honest try since I had good service at the old house. I've run multiple speedtest.net bandwidth tests and sometimes I would hit 12, sometimes it would drop to 4 or less. Sometimes web pages wouldn't load on the first try. The TV pixellated often enough that it was annoying to watch. The service was installed on May 15th, and on May 26th I called and cancelled. I just got a bill in Friday for $184, and I was "graciously" given a credit for $72. The billing period listed was for May 15-June 16. So how can 11 days of service that didn't live up to Uverse standards net me a charge of $112? I didn't even have it half a billing cycle, so why was the credit given less than half the bill? I don't feel I should have to pay any of it since I wasn't receiving the advertised services I ordered, and nobody I talked to when cancelling said there would be any charges or a "final bill." According to the AT&T corporate store as well as the address check on the uverse website, I was supposed to be eligible for 70mbps service. That clearly wasn't the reality of what I had available. How can I make them erase this bill?

I want to use my ipad in a public library.
How can I re start a browser session with safari? I need to do this to use wifi in the library. After accepting terms and conditions it ask me to restart all the browser sessions. But with Ipad it doesnt seem to close totally the application.
Please, help!Try a force quit, I don't know if it closes the sessions but it's worth a try...
When in the app, press on the sleep/wake button until the shutdown screen appears, then press the home button until the app quits. -

i am novice to MBAM and i have gone thru the virtual lab and material and i am in process of implementing it for my Organization. i am having 2 issues :-
1) After installation, i am confused how to access the console or does there is no Admin console and it is just servername:portnumber\helpdesk only.
2) If i enter just servername:portnumber\ then it get redirected to selfservice portal which is not an issue. Issue is after accepting agreement and clicking continue i am getting below error :-

only thing which i deviated from process was because of some condition i have to rename my MBAM server before installation however by before rename SQL and IIS was installed.
i will really appreciate any help in this regard.If that is the only link or admin console as well then if anyone can confirm what rights difference a user get when he is member of MBAM helpdesk, MBAM Advanced Helpdesk and MBAM Administrator group.
Also if i can get any help with the self service portal redirection then that will be really helpful. i was also checking if this could be because of any kind of certificate issue as server name was renamed after SQL and IIS installation. -

just bought my mac mini. loggin into my game center, and after accepting the user agreement, it then saves my options. After trying serveral times, my screen just shows my options are saving and does nothing past this point. even after waiting a very long time.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
Or...
Open console in Applications>Utilities, check the system log for the date/time of the last problem & the Startup right after that for clues. -
Facetime between iPad2 and MacBook Air worked fine here in the USA. The iPad2 is now in Rome, Italy and we can't connect internationally. We both can hear the caller ringing in and can see who is trying to call, but after accepting the call we cannot connect. No voice, no video. iPad is successfully sending and receiving eMails, but no Factime connection What's up?
I am curious if possibly the hotel has some sort of VOIP block on. Have you tried Skype? Did you talk to the hotel staff? My husband is traveling to Milan in a couple of days and I wonder if he will run into the same issue. He has had no problems from Istanbul but he is staying in a corporate apartment there. Unable to download and update new apps after accepting new T&C
I've been having problem in updating and downloading apps after accepting the new itunes terms and conditions.... whenever i tried to download apps, once i gave them my password (which is correct) a pop up saying 'cannot connect to itunes store'
I can access to my itunes account in my pc without any problem but not my iphone and my ipad ..

tonight i have upgraded my Ipad2 to ios 6 by it's own wifi,after compete downloading and installation the wifi password is not accepted by ipad2,i have tested so many times and i entered password correctly.please help
are other things still connecting to the wifi without a problem?
Have you tried resetting network settings, then unplugging modem and router from power for 40 seconds then plugging back in letting the lights stabilize and Then recconecting with the ipod>? -

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your Administrator User account and password.
It sounds like your computer is booting up to a network drive instead of your Macintosh HD.
If this is the case, follow these steps:
Startup Manager: How to select a startup volume
Follow these steps:
Turn on, or restart, your Mac.
Immediately press and hold the Option key. After a few seconds, the Startup Manager should appear. The Startup Manager scans for available available volumes.
Use the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard to select the volume you would like to use.
Press the Return key on your keyboard to start up the computer from the volume you selected.
If this does not resolve your issue, and you need to change your Administrator password, follow the steps below for Snow Leopard:
OS X: Changing or resetting an account password
In Mac OS X v10.6.8 or earlier, follow these steps to reset a password when there is only one administrator account on the computer, or if the original administrator account needs a password reset. "Original" administrator account refers to the one that was created immediately after installing Mac OS X. If the original administrator password is known, that administrator account may be used to reset the passwords of other administrator accounts using the steps described above. These steps require an optical drive; if your Mac does not have an optical drive and you have a Mac OS X v10.6 Install disc, see below.
Start up from a Mac OS X Install disc (one whose version is closest to the version of Mac OS X installed). Usually, you can start from the disc by putting it in your computer, restarting, and holding the C key. Or, put it in the computer and click the Install or Restore icon you see in the disc's main window (after which the computer will start from the disc without you needing to hold C). Or, you can use Startup Manager or the Startup Disk preference pane to select the Install disc.
Choose a language, click the arrow button to continue,
Mac OS X v10.6 or later: Choose Password Reset from the Utilities menu.

Select your Mac OS X hard disk volume.
Select the user name of your original administrator account.
Important: Do not select "System Administrator (root)". This is actually the root user. You should not confuse it with a normal administrator account.
Enter a new password.
Click Save.
Click the red button in the upper left corner to quit the application.
Choose Quit Mac OS X Installer... from the Mac OS X Installer menu.
Click Restart.
After following these steps, you'll want to also follow the steps in this article.

Additional Information
You can press the Eject key on the keyboard to eject DVD media. Inserting a startup DVD will add that DVD to the list of startup volumes (as in the image above). You can also attach FireWire or USB external hard drives to add to the list of startup volumes.
This startup volume selection is temporary. To set the default startup volume for your Mac after your computer is running, open System Preferences and choose Startup Disk from the View menu (in Mac OS X) or open the Boot Camp control panel (in Windows).

Hello! I have installed Photoshop on PC WIN 7 64bit. When I store first time a Photoshop docuument, it works fine - after re-opening and doing changes I trying again to store it - it does not work anymore! First it does not accept the name (message "It can not be stored because the nam is invalid" With 2. trial it tells me that the data is blocked and I don't have the rights - and I should chenge them. But I am working as the Admin on my PC - and each trial to change the rights of the data is as well not possible because of missing rights - even I am Admin! I must always store the data with a new name, then it works, but I also cannot remove the old datas or shift them into the waste paper - because of no rights! -- sorry for not perfect english, I am German native speaker! I am using a Nvidia 4200M adapter in my Laptop, Driver 266.96, Direct X 11
In my desktop I am using an ATI XFX 6950, latest revision drivers (I am not at home right now so I cant get that info).
The issue I did describe above, but it was a long explanation.
In some flash games the game files load initially and get as far as the "click to start" button. Then the flash area usually goes either all white or all black (usually depending on the falsh game default background color) and then it stays that color. Cant see anything after hitting start (usually most games have an intro video or animation before the game starts, but I cant see any of it.
For the very few games that do start, the flash game or application does not seem to work correctly in that when the rare game starts, it wont save any game files or save files to the pc and so if I exit the game (navigate away to another page or close browser) and then later come back, even though I click the option to save games (and ensure that the flash application slider shows it can save files and lots of space) it does not save and I have to start from the beginning all the time.

Ipad3 will not let me accept terms and conditions after software update
I downloaded the new software and had forgotten my password so had to ask for it.Now when I turn on my ipad it goes to the terms and conditions page but will not let me accept them and has a screen behind that that says create a password but I cannot get to that without accepting terms and conditions!!!! My Ipad is a brick! Help please!
It had not turned off all the way....now that it has been off ALL the way and turned back on after a minute it let me pass.

Just Can't download, buy or even update apps...I use only one Apple ID and only one ID. I did have to change the password at one point but I had no issues at all with updating apps after I changed the password.
If you can download new apps with the ID that you changed the password for, I would think that you will be able to update apps associated with that ID as well.
Did you try restarting the iPad after signing out of the one account and then sign in to the other account/accounts?
