Cancelling a line and and adding new lines to existing PO using API

Can any one please help me know how I can cancel a line and insert new lines into a existing PO using any API.

Really?! I didn't know that made a difference...I thought secondary lines were $25 - well, ya learn something new every day!
And a side note - we added a line for my 75+ yr old mother with one of our old flip phones and CS was extremely kind in waiving the activation fee (I could have sworn it was $25 charged and credited on the bill), PLUS they boxed up the flip phone after activating it (with an out of state number to boot) and shipped it to my Mom, all at no additional cost to me. I'm not saying that will be everyone's experience, and I was amazed the service rep offered to ship it for me - but I smiled and said "THANK YOU!" and accepted it!

Problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N

I am working in SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 4.0 system.
I have problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N
I create a DIR version 00 with functional location and mpd cycles. Then when i try to create a new version by copying the contents created from already created document.I change the MPD cycles in the new version and save it.
once when i display the first document created the mpdcycle specified in version 01 is copied to the 00 version.
The document is inconsistent where versioning of document doesnot work properly wrt MPDCYCLE and MP HEADER.
The problem which i found was the document identification guid remains the same for all the document versions getting created.
The same is working fine in SAP ERP6.0 EHP3.0 sytem.
Please someone help me in resolving the above issue.

There is a change in the standard code.The reason for the above problem was because of a missing Enhancemnet point in a standard function module 'CV110_DOC_CREATE_WITH_TEMPLATE'.

Created a custom enhancement point similar to SAP ECC6.0 EHP 3.0 system.
The reason was the buffer was not getting cleared previously.After inserting the above code the DIR's are getting created withot any issues.

we use the "\r" character to insert a new line and we can use "\t" to insert a "tab" for the spaces, or the actual spaces in a variable

Adding new line item directly to PO

We have a requirement for adding a new line item directly within the Purchase Order in SRM (without using the shopping cart). We are using the FM BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE for this purpose. However, we are getting the following error while updating. " BUFFER TABLE NOT UP-TO-DATE". Please provide assistance in order to resolve this issue.

We achieved based on the Security roles to identify if the user is Requester or Purchaser or Manager and Webdynpro changes by the portal team to activate the Change and Order button based on the required business rules.
Transaction Code for PO Change to be added to the security role.
Requisitioner: Any user with out any existing A012 relationship with any existing Organizational units on the current date:
Manager: Any user having A012 relationship with any existing Organizational units on the current date.
If the Authorization object checked programmatically results the value of "PUR" then the standard SAP code for "Purchaser" has to be executed.

Adding new line item in SC after it is added to PR or PO

Hi Experts,
Our customer wants that if line item is added to PR and PO on ECC side, it should be added to SC as well. I am sure you can't change apporved SC for which follow on document is created. But if someone did similar kind of requirement.
Here is requirement.
> SC has 2 line items.
> PR is created in ECC for 2 line items after SC is apporved.
> User added 3rd line item in PR on ECC side.
> Customer wants this line item should be added to SC as well.

In Classic Scenario: This is not possible .when you are adding a P.O in ECC it will not reflect in
SRM.
In Extended Classic scenario: In SRM only P.O is created .You can add a new line items (or) change
because P.O in SRM Server is the main P.O.
Moreover in this also Shopping cart will not update. Once Shopping cart is approved you can do any changes
Please check which scenario your client is using.

Unwanted field validation when adding new line to ALV (ABAP OO)

Hi,
We are using OO Controls to create an editable ALV grid, whose structure contains debit/credit indicator.
When we click on the standard add new line button, a new line is added but an error message appears telling the user to enter a valid credit/ debit indicator (of course it is blank in the new line).
This is annoying for users - is there any way to suppress this when....but just when a new line is being created?

Debug and find out what is the sy-ucomm when you add a new line in the ALV. And then In the validation of "enter a valid credit/ debit indicator " put a IF condition to check the if the SY-ucomm is not for inseting new line.

I have a requirement where : in VA01 , i have to add new line items using USER EXIT or BADI.
The scenario is : we maintain Characteristics for Material. When we select a particular characteristics, Factor and length will be displayed in a Popup. we can specify the Factor and lenght.
Here , if i specify Factor as 10 and lenght as 1000. the Material has to be cut / split into 10 items of 1000 mts each. and the ITEMs table control should get 10 ITEMS .
How to add new items using User exit or Badi in VA01 while creating a sales order.
i have identified the user exit . What code should be used to add new line items.
kindly help me in solvng this.

Adding new line item while save

use an implementation of BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST in the MM-Purchase-Requisition, method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST~POST while save.
based on the line items available(USER ENTERED) i have to add few more line items based on the account assignment category and quantity while save.
How to create new line items (copying the existing line item and change the quantity ) and save the requestion with the additional line items. I used this code. while calling the method CRETE_ITEM create based on the object REF_ITEM in the MY_STATE.
the REF_ITEM object is Initial . so while creation the empty object is created.

If the field Interface is filled with IF_PURCHASE_REQUISITION_ITEM, there arent any attributes shown.)

Problem with table control adding new line

For screen resolution logic, you can pass the value 'X' into the variable CTU_PARAMS-DEFSIZE in the OPTIONS parameter of CALL TRANSACTION using BDC DATA.

Adding New Line character to String

I want to add a new line while concatenating strings.
I am getting some string objects and put them together. while concatenating them i want new string to be displayed in new line.
The purpose of this is i am displaying this bunch of strings on a mouse over finction using javascript. Hence i want the different values to be displayed on a new line.
Any help is appreciated.

You normally use \r\n or System.getProperty("line.separator") to get a newline in Java.
But since you're talking about Javascript, the whole question makes really no sense here at a Java forum. Don't you just mean a linebreak in HTML? If so, it is just

Version mangement is activated with Version Zero only. When you select Version 0 Ok
If you have selected this indicator, version '0', which is generated automatically when a purchase requisition or external purchasing document is created, is automatically flagged by the system as Completed.
If version '0' is completed automatically, the system does not check whether the version data includes any mandatory fields.
If you have not selected the indicator, version '0' must be manually flagged as Completed.
Only if this indicator has been selected for the current version:

Adding new lines on outbound delivery using decentral warehouse

I have a decentralized warehouse that reports back to SAP for our outbound deliveries.
When the systems responds it can add an extra line, if a item can not be delivered. but it is possible to add an similar item, but with a different item number.
Can I add new line items to a delivery using SHP_OBDLV_CHANGE or any other idoc, or do I need to use a RFC/BAPI.
