Hello everybody!
I have a trouble with building my first application that is similar to "CustomTableView" in examples section. I only want to develop it from the very beginning, but after I has made a framework and want to build "intermediate" results, XCode tells me:

Cannot build in VSO VC 2015 preview projects

Hello.
We've switched to the VS 2015 preview (for better C++ 14 support) but it seems that we cannot build using VSO anymore:
builds fail with an error that "the toolset needs to be updated".
Is there a way to do it or it's just not enabled yet? If not, what is the ETA?

Hi Nicolas,
For your situation, you might check this
page for the software on the hosted build server. If the version of toolset you're using is newer than than the tools that deployed on the build server, then you might not able to build your project.
You can check the assemblies that used in your project, and then add them into source control and check in. Another option is configure an on-premise build controller. Check this
thread for more information about how to configure an on-premise build controller. However, you can submit a user voice
here if you want to build with hosted build contorller with your current project.

DNG SDK build project cannot find the xml sdk

On win7/x64. Installed dng sdk and all dependencies per the readme files. xml sdk built OK with vc10 express, as 64 bit static and dll.
But the vc solution for dng_validate has incorrect names for the xml sdk build projects, so it cannot find those components. Specifically it looks for "..\..\..\xmp_sdk\build\vc\XMPCore.vcxproj". the actual paths in the xmp sdk are different and longer, like "..\..\..\xmp_sdk\build\vc10\dynamic\windows_x64". Moreover there is no XMPCore.vcxproj there.
I suppose the real problem may be that the dng sdk project is trying to build it as .net managed code, while the xml sdk was built as open code. So I guess what I am looking for is a way to build the dng sdk open.

I would confirm your post, but I have not found a solution. I wish someone at Adobe would look into this.

Cannot build multifile project

Hello All,
I am new to Java, and a bit lost. I've done a couple of single file programs on JBuilder, and those worked OK. Now I have a larger school project with numerous classes in numerous files. I have all the files in the same folder (the project folder). When I try to build the project, the references to classes in other files are not recognized. I am running on Windows XP, and have added the paths to the bin folders in jdk1.5 and jre1.5 in the "Path" variable of environment variables. I have also added ".;" on someone's recommendation. However, I still cannot build this project, even though I know it is a working one (tested on another system.) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Java files can be structured in packages.
If you find as first occurrence:
package org.mywork.gui;then you should place the file in a subdirectory org/mywork/gui (3 directories) of your sources.
Compile from the top (the directory in which org is placed.
The package statement is optional, but it is good style and very convenient to use packages.
I am a bit late with this answer, so you'll probably found out already.

when am trying to Export an excel sheet as a contract file, i click save as and i get the error ( This file cannot be exported to the selected location ) on some clients computers not all of them, any advice please?

BlazeDS locking $ProjectName-debug folder and not allowing flex builder to build project

Hi all,
Im new to Flex. I'm trying to setup my development environment. What I've noticed is that when blazeds is started and I run a flex project, it creates a folder in the blazeds root folder named $ProjectName-debug (replace $ProjectName with the actual project name). Once this folder is created, and the flash page is accessed, it cannot be deleted until blazeds is actually stopped. The files on that folder seem to be locked. While this folder is locked, eclipse cannot seem to re-build the project (specifically clean). Thus every small change I make to the project, I'm currently having to stop blazeds, clean the flex project, start blazeds, run the flex project.What makes things worse is that I have to start our application along with blazeds so it can retrieve the data from the app (which takes a few minutes).
I'm wondering if other people are having to go through this pain or if they've figured out a way to get around this. I would ideally like to have a way where I'm able to rebuild the project and hit f5 and reload the page and see the changes. I understand this is not possible with debug.
If anyone has figured out a way to incorporate blazeds to their development environment in a more practical way, please let me know. We just switched from tapestry/gwt to flex. We used to be able to update on the go thus development was much simpler.

if you see a red error in your "problems" tab inside
flexbuilder, your project most likely will not be built fully, or
correctly, in that case running that project does not makes sense
at all, you need to make sure "problems" tab is clear of errors
(you might see warnings, but they are not very harmful) .if ther is
no errors, hitting ctrl+B builds the project and choosing Project
--> Clean ... clears output folder and rebuilds the project P.S
Unless you uncheck checkbox that says "automatically build project
after clean".
IMHO, turn off Auto Build and manualy build the project that
will take care of most issues, plus use (project --> clean) when
you need to make sure you have latest build .

Try creating a new Flex project and dragging the files from
the zip into the
src folder. You may find that you need to rearrange things a
bit, depending
on how they set up the project, but this should get you
started.

Clip inspector in imovie not working properly - when I select a picture (in project library) - and select clip adjustment it tells me that I need to select one or more clips to view Inspector tools and when I select a movie clip and then click on audio adjustments the audio adjustment appears as a speaker icon and I don't know how to get to the various audio options? It was working fine one minute and then I seemed to lose the functionality. Also editing a photo in a photo or getting rid of ken burns effect etc does not seem to work. help

Can anyone shed any light on this as I am having the same problem? One minute it works fine, the next you get the error message above.

Before this I use Return Components on Receipts from Production as I am mistakenly issued it more than what was needed.
Were anyone be able to explain why it worked for certain items and not for others? I have successfully done “return components with some batches"

I'm one of colleague of caterine, we only accessing the batch management-complete window, no other window is open, still the error occurs; see image below
Before that error occurs(in image); first error we encounter was batch number is already exist, then upon click add another person modified the window; but we tried to restore the db then try to add the batch number in different transaction like SI 1658(Goods Issue), and it is okay.. but on the SI 50003 which is Receipt from production we can't add it.

Cannot print document - No pages selected - Adobe Reader XI

Using Adobe Reader XI on a Windows 8.1 machine driving a Brother DCP-7055 printer via a network-linked Windows 7 machine to print 16-page document in Booklet format. This worked well yesterday, but this morning, with no changes to the system, so far as I am aware, I get Cannot print document - no pages selected on both the W8.1 and W7 machines. Same result trying to print ANY pdf from either machine. The same pdfs print OK using alternative pdf software (Nitropdf) but I need the booklet format option. Any solutions? Any suggestions.

That 'Protected Mode' causes so many troubles (hangs, crashes, limited functionality, ...) that I have been recommending to disable it for a long time in this forum. VIDEO_TS (and an empty audio_ts) folders are part of a standardised DVD structure. So, what you need a DVD-authoring tool. FCPX offers to create a very simple DVD, one movie, two designs (black or white), no menu, done. Older Macs came pre-installed with iLife/iDVD … export your project as a 'Master', drag into iDVD, select any design template ... Apple axed 'disk creation' about 7 years ago ... the AppStore is crowded with other, convenient, consumer, template based tools. Professional structured DVDs are only optional with obsolete DVDSP (part of FC-suite) or Adobe Encore .....

Error -17704, Build project failed in CVI

I'm using CVI7.0 with TS3.0.
When I configure the CVI adapter to be in debug mode, the TS uses tscvirun.prj to run an additional instance of the CVI code for debugging. As soon as TS finishes to load this project I get the run-time error:
Build project failed in CVI for the project c:\....\tscvirun.prj.
Error Code: -17704; CVI ActiveX automation server command failed.
Any idea where to start looking?
p.s. This entire project was copied from another pC where I don't have this problem. I did a lot of comparing between configurations of the two pCs but found nothing.

Does the original tscvirun project that TestStand installs work with the example on the failing system?
To validate this you may need to repair TestStand so that the tscvirun files are refreshed and try the examples to make sure things are working properly on the system before attempting to use the files from the second system.
If you rerun the insaller, one of the available options will be to perform a repair.
