Cannot delete a video clip from iPad, the Edit button doesn't appear ?
With iMovie for iOS (iPad) I try to permanently delete a video clip from my iPad.
I follow the article http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3186. But even if the video clip I want to delete is not used in a project, I simply do not find the Edit button in the upper-left corner above the Video browser as mentionned.

the Ipad is running iOS 5.1.1 (9B206), the video are not stored in 'pellicule'
Am I crazy ?

Did you shoot the video in iMovie?
Or did you shoot it via the camera app?
If it was shot in the camera app, then it needs to be deleted in the Photos app.
Can you see the video in the photos app?
You can permanently delete a video clip from your device as long as it’s not in the Camera Roll or the Photos app.

If you have a gmail, yahoo, or even icloud etc. account go into settings>mail, contacts and make sure you're not syncing through yahoo for example.. Turn that off, if that still doesn't work delete the yahoo account and simply set up the account again..will add the + & edit functions again..

I assume PR is the country code for Peurto Rico. Apple do not appear to have any retail store connections there though there are one or two re-sellers.

I purchased a tv show. I like it so much I was willing give as a gift. Unfortunately the gift button doesn't appear. It seems because I have already purchased it for myself, I am unable to give it as a gift.

Clearly the problem is ANY item I have purchased/own can not be gifted.

Every time I plug in my iPhone to my computer it opens up to my PC instead of iTunes. When I try to connect my phone to iTunes the device button doesn't appear. What do I do?
It is opening up your computer generally because there are photos in the camera roll to prompt you to import them to the computer as you would a digital camera.

Transferring video clips from iPad
I transferred MP4 (MPEG-4) video clips from a GoPro camera to my 1st gen. iPad. Now I am trying to figure out how to transfer them to my PC so I can edit them. I can watch them on the iPad, but when I try to view them from my PC they do not show up (the still photos do). Apple has not been any help. Any ideas or recommended software?
The files are too big to email from the iPad.

Connect it to your computer and restore it as a new device. Then chose what music you want to sync with it and do so just like your Touch does.

The back button doesn't appear after doing a search.
When I move away from a search page, the back button doesn't activate, so I can not return to the search page. Once I go to a non-search page, the back button works normally again. It's only when I first start the browser and move away from a search page that I can't go back to the search page without performing a new search. Basically, I can't reach my initial search via the back button or the recent pages button.
im not sure but maybe this helps. I was opening links with right mouse button at FF3.6 and second option was open in new tab but at FF4 this option at first order. If you use same way as like me. your new tabs are new windows so there is no back option or refresh.

You must delete the video from the Photos app.

Premiere 6.02 - can't import video clips from a different editing program
If anyone has an answer I would really appreciate it. I am using Premiere 6.02 and XP. I have a 80 GB hard drive, 256 mb ram, and 1.7ghz. I have about 9 minutes of footage that I captured on MGI's videowave 4, which came bundled with my computer from Dell. It seems that I have to import the entire 9 minute clip from videowave into premiere to be able to edit it with premiere. I have been able to carefully make a few very broad edits of this 9 minutes in my premiere timeline, however, everytime I try to open it up I can't even make a single move before premiere is not responding and it has to close down. Is there anyway around this so I can utilize this 9 minutes by adding audio tracks, fades, and specific cuts? I have to be able to use this footage. Any suggestions would be great. Also, are there any chat rooms that exist where people discuss troubleshooting issues with premiere? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

[email protected]Thanks for the help. I'm in a bit of a tough situation right now.Again I have xp with 1.7 ghz, 256 mb ram, and 2 hard drives ( 40 gb and 80gb) with approx. 75 gigs free space. I'm trying to save about 12 minutes offootage that i captured with videowave 4 from being totally useless. I know you suggested to me that i convert from avi 1 files (videowave) to avi 2files (the only files premiere 6.0 accept apparently). I haven't been able to find anywhere online that has the software to do that with. My other alternative, considering the original footage on my camera has long since been erased, is to export from videowave to my camera and then import that footage into premiere and then i would be set. I wish I could. I couldn't get videowave to recognize how to "produce video" so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now I am able to get all the way to the point where I'm simply supposed to choose "output to dv" under the output menu. When I click the dropdown menu the only option available is "full screen", which I tried anyway. It does play the footage on full screen, but it certainly doesn't capture the footage to my camera. I've looked everywhere on the videowave web site and their solutions are brief, difficult to understand, and inconclusive. Oh, something that sounds like a problem is when I reinstalled videowave it said something about missing a indeo codec. I looked for it in my video codec properties and found a couple of versions,but what I gathered from online research was that I might need indeo codec xp 5.2 (seeing as how I'm running xp) which costs $15. I thenlooked onlineto find that codec for free somewhere to no avail. HELP!!!! THANKS!!

I need to delete a calendar event that transfered to my 4S from my Droid phone. This event occurs yearly. When I open this event, the edit button that normally appears in the upper right corner does not exist so I can't delete it. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?
uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. I use firefox for so many, many years thta I deserve this kind of support .. thnx Robert -
Playing video clips from web sites ?

I am unable to view video clips from most websites. The frame with the video appears on the page, but I am unable to play the video clip. Why is that? And how can I get to view video clips from within the web page?

It was based on a 5 year old version of flash, would not play most flash content on the web.
Recently, adobe just released flash mobile 10 beta.
The demo I saw crashed the browser or caused very jeky scrolling on web pages. Also kills the battery.
Official release is slated for sometime at the end of the year.
Neither version provides a good customer experience, so why would apple use it? -

How can I delete hidden video files from the iPad? These files were created on my MBA and when I changed the media type to iTunesU and then copied it to my iPad via iTunes, they did not appear. I can see them using 3rd party software, but they don't have delete functionality.

YorkInteresting note: I can see the files when I use the search function, but when I tap either file, I return to my home screen. The video does not open. I can transfer the file to my MBA, and it plays fine, but I cannot figure out a way to delete them.

How do I get home video clips from iMovie Mac to iMovie iPad? Surely there is some degree of cross-compatibility? I have a load of clips in iMovie on my MBP that I wanna download to my iPad2 so that I can edit movies on the move. Any ideas? (The clips are in a .mov format, they have been imported / converted into this format in iMovie, original files were from a JVC camcorder in some other strange format.)
I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!"
