Cannot generate XML for the List of Values (UX 00072)
Hi,
I had issues with a .LOV file associated with an object.
Cannot generate XML for the List of Values (UX 00072)
[LOV Name] This LOV contains data that does not originate from Corporate Data.
The object maps to data in a table of the DB that will be populated in the future. The LOV file is "empty", but I have to pass the universe into production waiting for the data.
This error doesn't permit me to go from Development to Prod.
Regards,
Riccardo
You need to set the display-property="<<Your name property>>" in item-descriptor tag.
e.g. <item-descriptor name="myItem" display-property="name" />
Cheers

Sorting the list of value like in BEX but out of crystal report
All,
I have created a crystal report base on a BEX query where I have a variable for which i am filtering base on a field period.fiscalyear.
for the list of values that prompt you for this variable ...
l in BEX we can do the sort by either alphabetical ascending order or descending alphabetical order such as:
here is for ascending
001.2008
001.2009
or by clicking on it we can do the following: (descending)
012.2009
012.2009
however in crystal when refreshing the report in infoview it sorts the list of value base on the month
something like this :
JAN 2008 [0FISCPER].[K42008001]
FEB 2008 [0FISCPER].[K42008002]
We would like to have in crystal the same behaviour than in BEX, so in crystal we would like to be able to get the list of values sorted in either ascending order to descending order. is there a way to do so ?
notes also that we would like to avoid to create the variable in crystal
PhilippeHi,
in Crystal Reports you have per InfoObject - depending on the definition - the key value, the description and the member unique name. In BW these objects are defined as NUMC in most cases - which means it is a character / string.
In your example the value is 001.2008 and 001.2009. What you can do in Crystal Reports is to split up the values into year and month and then sort based on the actual numbers.

How to get the list of values for a dynamic parameter using Web Services SDK?
<p>I am struggling to get the list of values for a dynamic parameter of a report.</p><p>I am using Java Web Services SDK ... I tried to use PromptInfo.getLOV().getValues() method but it does not work.</p><p>First of all ... is this possible (to get the list of values for a dynamic param) using Web Services?</p><p>Second of all, if this is possible, how should I do it ... it seems it works fine when running the report from CMC. It asks for DB logon info and after that it provides a list of values.</p><p>Thx </p>
<p>Your assumption is correct. We are trying to get the LOVs from the Crystal Report. I was not aware that this is not supported by Web Services SDK.</p><p>We used Web Services SDK to integrated the Crystal Reports in our web application. We implemented some basic actions for reports: schedule, view instances, run ad-hoc reports.</p><p>We encountered this problem when trying to run/schedule reports with dynamic parameters (a list of values from DB). We were unable to get the LOVs.</p><p>Please let me know if you can think of an alternative to look at.</p><p>Thanks a lot,</p><p>Catalin </p>

Hi everybody,
I have a strange problem with Mount-DiskImage command.
Environment: Windows server 2012 without any updates.
All scripts signed as it was in Hanselman's blogpost
http://www.hanselman.com/blog/SigningPowerShellScripts.aspx
First script(script1) executing on one machine (server1), then copy another script(script2) to the remote server(server2) and run script2 in a PS-Session. Both are signed. Certificates are located on both servers.
In a script I tried to
Import-Module Storage
$mountVolume = Mount-DiskImage -ImagePath $ImageSourcePath -PassThru
where ImageSourcePath is a networkpath to iso image.
But getting exception.
Exception Text:

Yours,
John.I had the same issue and managed to fix it.
I am using tomcat and had a filter configured for AxisServlet to open a hibernate Session. Somehow (I did not figure it out yet) this filter afects the way the AxisServlet resolves the EPR.
My fix was - remove the filter. It worked. Now I am trying to figure out why.
If you have any clues, please drop a line. -

I was unable to find another instance of this error message.Version 11.3 I actually figured it out, its rather odd that the generate addresses button doesn't do this automatically. It appears that the mask was set to trigger use of the cache on a single bit. 0x00800000. I had enough devices added where automatic address generation was using the most significant bit meaning that bit was falling within other address spaces. I changed it to 0xFFFFC000. (Basically telling it to match addresses if all address signals above 16KB are zero). I don't know if that is the proper way to do it, but it accepted it. Now I'm fighting with some stuff regarding an FSL bus I added that apparently isn't quite properly setup, so I haven't found out yet if the processor likes that address mask. But the tools appear to like it.

How to change what is used for the condition base value
I have a new condition type that I want to always get its conditon base value from a list price total in the pricing procedure.
Do I need to do this in a routine? If yes, can you give more details on what should be in the routine.

Row cannot be located for updating. Some values may have been changed...
Hello,
I have a legacy application written in VB6 and using Oracle OLEDB Provider (version 9 and updated to the last ones from oracle site)
I've a problem during insert of a record using recordset method (AddNew).
The returned message is "Row cannot be located for updating. Some values may have been changed since it was last read. "
I know that problem is caused by a Before Insert trigger that I CANNOT change.
Trigger does not change any primary key values !!!. It put only some default values on other not rilevant columns.
I tried to use the recordset Property option "Update Criteria" = adCriteriaKey without success !
I had same problem with SQL Server but i solved putting into the trigger SET NOCOUNT ON.
I think problem is related to the fact that ADO tries to calculate number of affected rows and for doing that it use a where clause built on the changed columns but using values it had on the client.
Other important info:
Cursor = adUseClient (and i cannot adUseServer)
Provider= MSDAORA (version 9.2...)
Oracle server = 9.1
Trigger causing problem = BEFORE INSERT (for each row)
Thanks in advance

Event for the List Box in ALV Grid Control
Hello,
I have the below urgent requirment.
I have an ALV Grid Control built using ABAP Objects. In the grid, I have few fields and one of these fields is a List Box. Depending on the values selected, I need to enable or disable some fields. So, is there any event for the List box in ALV Grid Control.
For ex: I have 2 Fields, Designation and Commission. The designation field is a List Box field having 'Software Engineer' and 'Manager' as values. When I select 'Software Engineer', the commission field should be disabled. When I select 'Manager', the comission field should be enabled.
Early reply is hightly appreciated.

Log Message:
Add metadata.xml for the SWC themes so that if Builder imports them they have nice names, etc. These need to be updated by the Builder team if we end up changing how sourceLocation works, etc. Also would be good if we added metadata.xml for the CSS versions.
Modified Paths:
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/arcade/build.xml
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/cobalt/build.xml
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/graphite/build.xml
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/zen/build.xml
Added Paths:
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/arcade/src/metadata.xml
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/cobalt/src/metadata.xml
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/graphite/src/metadata.xml
flex/sdk/trunk/samples/themes/zen/src/metadata.xmlNote the last paragraph in the original post which explains how Flickr handles resolution changes without breaking the rectangles. Perhaps a more straightforward approach would be to store both the rectangle coordinates for each rectangle AND the image's width and height at the time the rectangles were created. Then if the image is scaled, the rectangles can be scaled accordingly. For example, if a rectangle is at x=100,y=200,w=50,h=70, the "original dimensions" are 1000x2000, and the image's current dimensions are 500x1000, then an application could assume the image has been scaled down by (500/1000=) 0.50, and so the x,y,w,h of each rectangle could also be multiplied by 0.50 (x=50,y=100,w=25,h=35). I'd recommend storing floating-point values so that multiple scalings don't make the rectangles "creep".
Of course, it is possible that really the image was cropped rather than scaled, but fairly unlikely you would happen to crop it the same percent in both directions. Even if an image is cropped, someone could manually repair the rectangles by sliding and scaling them until the fit back on the faces (unless most of the faces were cropped off).
A rectangle-aware application could scale and translate the rectangles during a crop or scaling operation, but other applications could still survive scaling if they at least preserve the XMP tags as-is. -
Generating XML for an instance of a custom type
I apologize for a silly question...
How do I use the codec object that <autotype> generates for a custom type?
The schema and WSDL files are written by hand, <autotype> generates java representation
of the types along with serializer/deserializer classes for nested types and the
main codec class fine. Now I need to manually generate XML for a particular instance
of my custom type (at runtime). The codec class declares XML_TYPE as a private
variable while it seems to be exactly what needs to be passed to codec’s serialize(),
and the codec class is a final class... so how’s this class supposed to be used?
Same with de-serialization.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Dimtriy,
I've attached an example using a custom codec with clientgen. If you
could take a look and see if this ser/deser can provide you with some
guidelines on what is required. Also, if you could bundle a small
example that illustrates your custom type, it would be helpful.
Thanks,
Bruce
