Can anyone help? I cannot install ioS 7.1 on my ipad2, message displayed "software update is not available at this time. Try again later".

An iOS update to version 7.1.1 was just released. The update servers might be too busy at the time you tried to update. ID suggest waiting until later in the day and then try again.

I have the same error message. I just installed my new ATV3, all seems to work well but when I try to connect to my PC (menu - Computers - enter apple ID / password), I get the same error message. I updated the software first, so I don't know if it would have worked with the factory settings.
Frustrating, it seems there are a lot of people with the same problem; I thought Apple would be better than this.
'Funny' is that I was able to enter my Apple ID information and check my purchased movies and tv shows (it correctly said there were no purchased movies or tv shows). so it accepted my apple ID and password at that time. But when I try to do Computers - enter Apple ID / password, I get the same error message again.
I am able to see the ATV in my i-tunes (latest version) on my pc.
I am using a wireless connection.
I have restarted the ATV several times, to no effect.
I then restored the ATV, but it automatically starts with an automatic system update . Anyway, same problem.

Is your phone jailbroken or ever been hacked?
Was it previously locked to a different phone carrier than the current one your on now? -
When starting a rental movie, I get the message: "An error occured loading this content, please try again later". Any ideas how to solve this issue?
Firstly, I should have typed speedtest.net previously.
Now that's an interesting comment you make, out of interest do you have any purchased HD movies in your iTunes collection, if so, do they play on the Apple TV with your new tv. -

You should try again later, the servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download at the same time.
Give it time, keep trying, should eventually work. -
i just down loaded the latest software to my Iphone 4s and eevrything was ok until it said to "install now" i said ok and it keeps coming back with software is not available at this time please try later??? what does this mean??

jeffI imagine millions upon millions of people are attempting to download and install it right now. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + a few million more.

When I try to update my Credit Card information in the app store and submit, I get a message, "cannot connect to iTunes, try again later" and "iTunes is unable to process your request, try again later" My billing info IS CORRECT.
Unpower it. If it still happens on a restart give it time - Apple's servers sometimes have glitches.

Having trouble downloading iOS 7.1 to an ipad. Latest itunes has been downloaded onto laptop to help, but still no go. Not really computer savvy, but know the basics.

If the phone was NOT unlocked, it can't work or be activated with any other carrier than AT&T. It CAN'T be used with Tigo or Movistar.
