Cannot resolve elements 11 problems so must restart. Also must un start program. How to start?

Are these the tool option problems in your other discussion? If so what happened after Resetting the tools? If that didn't help, try selecting Edit> Preferences> General> Reset Preferences on Next Launch and restart PSE.
What do you mean by 'How to start'? Are you asking how to uninstall? If on Windows there will be an uninstaller in the Control  Panel Add / Remove Programs section.

  • Having Problem with using JUnit...causes "cannot resolve symbol" problems..

Hello, say i have a class
    A
that contains an object of class B.
    Now there's class X...
It's all fine and dandy trying to compile them both until i try to set the classpath for junit, by doing:
    set classpath=%classpath%;C:\junit3.8.1\junit.jar
    i'm pretty sure it's correct...
well once i type in this line into my command prompt (win 2k), the junit package now seems to be recognized by class X, which is my testing class that contains an object of class A.
but NOW class A can't find class B and i get a cannot resolve symbol error. Same goes for class X not being able to find class A.
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm a newb to this :( . Thanks.

    nevermind! noob mistake.

  • I corrupted the firefox profile file using profile manager and firefox thinks it is still running and asks me to close but there is no instance of it running...I have tried several re-installs but cannot resolve the problem....

.........I have deleted the .ini file associated with the profile file and the profile file itself...have tried to locate the "lock" file but cannot find the file in the specified path on the support forum for this problem....I believe there is a file mounted in another directory somewhere that firefox is seeing....I would really like to be able to use firefox as the default browser on this new linux (ubuntu) install...it was working prior to my trying to import my profile from the windows partition.....

Thanks, someone else told me yahoo is an issue.  No, not the fan itself is what I'm asking, but the dots preceding it.  Sometimes there are 3 up, sometimes 4, sometimes 2.  Just wondered if they are the signal strength.  I should actually walk in different parts of the house and see if they change in different rooms.

  • If laptop is inactive for more than a few minutes, Firefox loses its connection and I must restart to get back online. How can I fix this?

This is a recent problem. It was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. If I restart the computer, Firefox gets online with no problem. However, having to do this every time I walk away from my desk is becoming annoying....Is there a way for me to fix this? I am not a techie but I am good at following directions, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

your solution to my question was both helpful and not helpful it was very helpful on my computer which is a windows 7 it allowed me make some adjustment although i am for the most part really good about shutting mine down after i use it there are times that i do leave it on planning getting back to it forgetting or get caught in something else
but unfortunatly it wasn't helpful on the computer i really need to set it up on which is a windows xp home who's power options r already suppose to be set up to shut down the computer if idle for 1 hour but it never does
since posting my question i have gone through any section of help n support on that computer that pertains to it. i have also been into the microsoft support site to try and configure auto logoff n auto poweroff if computer is idle for a while but when i tried to find the files on that computer they said i needed to access to set it up don't exist and of course way at the bottom of the page is operating system this applies to and you click on it and it states for xp professional only and that the support for the xp home in this matter is no longer available on their site

  • JSP Compilation Problem - Cannot Resolve Symbol

  • G5 freezing - no problems with ASD - crashing also in single-user-mode

    Hello,
I have a PowerMac7,1 with MacOS X Server 10.5.8, which today started freezing and restarting.
After the system froze, sometimes it restarts automatically, or I have to manually reboot it with the power button. In both cases the restart also froze!
The only way to start the system is the clean the PRAM, but after a while it is crashing again!
I managed to run the full ASD 2.5.7 test without error for a few hours (then I stopped), and with the install DVD I also managed to run the system repair (there was nothing to repair).
Both from the system and from the install DVD I cannot run the repair permissions (it freezes!). So I tried to execute "fsck -fy" from the single-user-mode, but the computer froze again!
Is there something else I can try?
    Thanks a lot!

    Two things: DiskWarrior. New HD.
It seems that the crashes are coming into play when the HD is in the game in a meaningful sense, which isn't the case with the install disk or ASD, unless you are trying to do something like disk repair or permissions repair from the install disk. What's interesting is that you can boot into single-user mode, but when you invoke fsck, you crash, whereas disk repair from the install disk, which in essence fsck, runs and reports no errors.
You can also try a safe boot and see how things run there. If you can do that, I would suggest running AppleJack on the system, if you can.
Finally, it's possible that NVRAM has gotten corrupted (a possibility but not a high possibility) so an NVRAM reset might help things out.
After trying the safe-boot and NVRAM routes, if no help, my next tool would be DiskWarrior. In the past, I have had situations where DW found problems that Disk Utility didn't find, though that was in DW 3, probably. Fortunately (knock on wood) DW 4 has not had to confront a disaster situation yet for me.

  • Could anyone please tell me how to start to solve this problem?

    Hi,
I'm new to SOA world. I was making a PURCHASE ORDER PROCESSING application.
I created DB connection,Credit Card Validation Service, Purchase Order Routing Service,
BPEL Orchestration, Adding Human Workflow, Adding Business Rules, then Adding Fulfillment.
From that time one problem was created, showing BPEL component has invalid settings.
As i told before i'm new to this technology, so could anyone tell me how to start to check and solve this problem ?
I have no idea from where and how to start.

  • I need help in resolving a problem that prevents me from accessing the iTunes store.  Message reads " iTunes cannot contact the iTunes store" and also says that my laptop is no longer authorized to access my account.  Help!

I need help in resolving a problem that prevents me from accessing the iTunes store.  Message reads " iTunes cannot contact the iTunes store" and also says that my laptop is no longer authorized to access my account.  Help!

Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'.  Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'.  That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account.  If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer.  If you're not able to access the store, check your internet connection to make sure you are connected.  Hope this helps.. good luck!

  • Problem : Cannot resolve the collation conflict between ...

    Hi
I want select a column from another database base on my current field on current database.
    here is my query :
    select ms.ServiceID, ms.ServiceName, ms.CoefficientFixedService,
    (select Services_Name from MpAdmisson..IAServices_Table where Services_DepartmentID=24 and Services_Name=ms.ServiceName) as N'MpServiceName'
    from MedicalServices ms
    join MedicalCategories mc on ms.MedicalCategorizationID=mc.MedicalCategorizationID
    join Zones z on mc.ZoneID=z.ZoneID
    where z.ZoneID=24
but I'm facing this error :
Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "Persian_100_CI_AI" and "Arabic_CI_AS" in the equal to operation.
Also i changed collation of "MpAdmisson" db to "Persian_100_CI_AI" and even restart msSqlServer service, but i'm facing the same error!
where is my problem and how to solve it ?
    thanks in advance
    http://www.codeproject.com/KB/codegen/DatabaseHelper.aspx

although you changed the collation of the database it does not mean that all the objects changed their collation too automatically.
    So far you are correct.
The change is only done when you change the data within the objects, thus recreating the table and moving data in / out or touching each and every value with doing something on the values themselves (the following will not work UPDATE (..) SET ServiceName
= ServiceName, the optimizer is smart enough too see that as a noop).
However, this is flat wrong. This is the story: each character column in a database has a collation tied to it. When you change the collation of a database, you change 1) the collation of the columns in the system tables. 2) The default collation. To change
the collation on the individual columns, you need to alter the column:
    ALTER TABLE IAServices_Table
ALTER COLUMN Services_Name <current data type> COLLATE Persian_100_CI_AI [NOT] NULL
Unfortunately, this only works if the column is not indexed and has no constraints tied to it. Any indexes have to be dropped and recreated after the ALTER statement. If the column is a key column and there are referencing foreign keys, they also have to
be dropped and recreated. Thus, this is quite a far-reaching operation. And it may not stop there - with some amount of bad luck, constraints may fail with the new collation.
For this reason, this workaround suggested by Jens, may be your only option in the short term:
If you cannot do this currently, you can still do the following and collate on a per query basis:
    select ms.ServiceID, ms.ServiceName, ms.CoefficientFixedService,
    (select Services_Name from MpAdmisson..IAServices_Table where Services_DepartmentID=24 and Services_Name=ms.ServiceName COLLATE Persian_100_AS_CI) as N'MpServiceName'
    from MedicalServices ms
And this part of Jens's post is correct. To note though is that use of the COLLATE clause voids any index on ServiceName. (Since this index is sorted according the rules of Arabic, and not the rules of Farsi.)

  • Problem with DNS - ping/Safari cannot resolve, but host/dig work OK

    Hi All,
Have a weird problem with DNS which is a bit similar to the following ones:
    http://discussions.info.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2190208
    http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=337942
I connect with remote internal network via OpenVPN and from time to time (yes, intermittent problem :)) internal DNS names cannot be resolved.
When it happens I can still resolve names using host or dig utilities, but applications (like Safari) and ping cannot resolve them.
resolv.conf has proper DNS server set:
    *$ cat /etc/resolv.conf*
    *# Mac OS X Notice*
*# This file is not used by the host name and address resolution*
*# or the DNS query routing mechanisms used by most processes on*
*# this Mac OS X system.*
*# This file is automatically generated.*
    *domain openvpn*
    *search openvpn*
    *nameserver 10.0.0.1*
More than that - it can resolve those internal names when queried directly, for example using host:
    *$ host YYY.XXX.ru 10.0.0.1*
    *Using domain server:*
    *Name: 10.0.0.1*
    *Address: 10.0.0.1#53*
    Aliases:
    *YYY.XXX.ru has address 192.168.x.y*
but at the same time ping reports "*Unknown host*":
    *$ ping YYY.XXX.ru*
*ping: cannot resolve YYY.XXX.ru: Unknown host*
I tried "*dscacheutil -flushcache*" and it did not help. Also tried to comment out domain and search directives in resolv.conf and it did not help as well (and actually it should not matter).
Any ideas why this can happen and what else can I check when it happens again?
    Thanks!

I have the same issue. It cropped up after I installed updates to MS Office 2008 and Firefox in which I also saw issues with the icons disappearing in the dock of the applications that were open when I started the Office update. I rebooted to try to get them back, but ended up deleting them and restoring from the Applications folder. I don't know if that's a red herring or not, but I generally try to figure out what has recently changed that may cause something to suddenly start failing.
I'd been working successfully all morning before it started acting up. Switching from wifi to cat5 had no effect.
@realaaa, were you able to resolve without a major undertaking, like reinstalling your OS?

Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
    - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear.  (For iOS 6 older, hold down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
    - Relaunch the App and try again.
    - Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    - Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
    - Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
    - Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
    - Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137  For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
    - Test the issue after each step.  If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.
