Cannot run webcam 2nd time
Hi
I'm trying to capture image by webcam using JMF. It always runs 1st time and fails 2nd time thrwoing following exception:

I googled the issue and found that most possibly JMF can't close the cam properly 1st time, so next time it throws exception. In my code it's actually closed like below:

Now I need a workaround, could anyone help me resolve the issue?

Saving to the harddisk is the safe and troublefree way. Saving through a network is a known troublemaker.
Maybe you can reset the network connexion somehow. You may try disconnecting and reconnecting between savings and see whether that solves the issue; at least it may show the nature of the issue.

We have a problem with saving .ai files in Illustrator CS4 on a Windows 2003 server with SMB filesharing with OX 10.6. If we save .ai files for the second time, Illustrator gives the error: 'cannot save illustration. file is locked or in use. ID = -54'.
If you save a file on the OSX 10.6 workstation, it gives no errror. It is an illustrator .ai smb problem. .eps or .pdf on SMB gives also no problems.
Does anyone know a solution?

Firefox will not start; new profile fixes it for 1 time, then 2nd time its back to broken
Windows 7 x64, ff3.6.8
ff3 will not run, clicking on .exe will not begin any app in taskmanager. the most i get is when clicking ff3 from the taskbar in win7 it will flash as if it is trying to do something, but nothing happens and the flashing stops.
uninstalled ff3.6.5; reinstalled 3.6.8, still same issue.
i created a new profile and started ff3, ff3 started & i got to a generic home page. i closed ff3, copied my bookmark file from the default profile to the new profile, restarted ff3, same problem as in the beginning.
i created a new profile & again it starts up, but when i close out, even without copying the bookmarks over (i was assuming that was the corrupted file), it will not run the 2nd time.
i have done this for 7 profiles and all of them work the first time, but none will work after that even without copying any profile information from the original default profile.
in addition i cut all the profiles out of the profile folder and cc'd to another location on another drive thinking that'd prevent the default from corrupting the other files, nothing.
brief history(sorry for the long post)
I ran a windows update prior to leaving on vacation, shut the PC down & when I came back the pc wouldnt boot. reset my bios to default and finally got back into windows & it finished the update.
when i got back in, ff3 was giving me problems and kept hanging up for some reason. so i hard reset & tried to implement my OC profile in bios. i was not able to get back into windows w/ my OC profile again, so i again went back to default bios.
ever since then ff3 will not work. ie8 works fine, no viruses reported thru mse, i cant figure it out!
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.well i kinda fixed it i spose...
i deleted everything in appdata under mozilla & macromedia and deleted the plugins folder from my installation folder for ff3. uninstalled ff3, reinstalled ff3. now everything works fine. just have to redo my bookmarks & settings.

No you will not lose your content reinstalling iTunes.
Do this:
1: Download and run the Registry Cleaner of the free Ccleaner.

2: Next follow this Apple document to un-install iTunes

3: Just for good measure, run Ccleaner again
4: Reinstall iTunes.

I figured it out. A week ago I had downloaded a screensaver from a website I trusted and that's when my problems started. I uninstalled it but that didn't help. So, I reinstalled it then used an uninstall softtware app that cleanns more than the control panel does. Then I used a computer cleaner to be sure everything was wiped clean. And it worked. I downloded iTunes for the 7th time in 2 days and finally it worked! And I lost nothing from my account.
Maybe this info will help others. -

Ok some things first I need to know...Did you use Microsoft cleanup utility to clean up all those uninstalls you have done?
I hate Norton and anyone who reads my posts will know that. I have seen way too many infected PC's by Norton users. Did you try the EWIDO and AdAware scan? I see you said you read lots of posts. That is helping folks remove the malware in order to get iTunes and quicktime back to health. -
On my PC, I cannot run itunes, I keep getting this error message" Quick Time failed to initialized (error02096) Quick time is required to run please unistall itunes then install itunes again, I have done this three times and I keep getting the same error message. I have had itunes for years, but up until 2 months ago the quick time will not initialize to run it.
Try using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and delete the iTunes installer. Then try installing iTunes again

I get a PartialResultException, but why ?A really odd thing is also that sometimes the user attribute like "cn" which i do retrieve gets not displayed in my JList when i start the application, but when i close the app and start it again it the JList contains the cn values or not its like a random factor. ???
Someone told me that the garbage collector is not releasing all memory i used in my application so i have to release the resource explicit ??!! is that right? And how do i have to do this? I have never ever read something about that! -

I recently allowed an iTune update to be downloaded to my PC. SInce then I'm getting a Run time Error "R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly." Then I cannot run iTunes. I tried "fixing" it, "Un-installing and re-installing iTunes. Still getting the same message and not able to run iTunes.

I currently have 3GS 4.2.1 trying to update to 6.2.1. It did the update but i cannot finish the update. i get a message saying cannot do at this time please try again in a few minutes. I tried wifi and itunes... but still wont work. Please help
That's usually because a) you do not have a SIM card in the phone, or b) the phone was hacked to unlock it.

Cannot run a jsp a second time in WebLogic Portal 10.3
I have an index.jsp that has bunch of links that build pdfs.
here's the code from the jsp that builds the links

What happens is:
I click on one link
the new window opens
in the controller the pdf is built & put in the session
in the new window, showImage.jsp is loaded and the pdf is displayed.
Then I close the showImage.jsp window, in the first window I click another link
in the controller the new pdf is built & put in the session
in the new window the previous pdf is sent to the user.
the jsp doesn't run a second time ( there's a print statement that never runs, so I know the jsp never runs, and a few other tests).
It's not cached in the browser, I've used response.setHeader to prevent other caching.
so I'm stumped.
Does anyone know how to get this jsp to run everytime it's called?

I do not believe that this product exists anymore since the Oracle purchase of BEA. This product came from a partner called MobileAware and I think you can still purchase it from them if you require it.
However, you might want to read about the native capabilities in WLP for handling multiple devices. Read:

Extending Time Capsule primary and guest networks with 2nd Time Capsule

I have two Time Capsules. The first is configured to run a primary and guest network. It is connected to an ADSL modem. All of this works fine.
The second Time Capsule is cable connected to the first, in a 2nd location (a next door building).
I want the 2nd Time Capsule to extend _both_ primary and secondary networks in its location.
How do I configure the 2nd Time Capsule (and the first if there is anything I have to do there to get this to work).

Kernel Panic occured when Macbook was off (2nd time this has happened)
Hey guys today I came home from work and I heard that my MB's fans were running. I turned it off last night completely (not sleep) and didn't turn it on in the morning before work. Also the sleep light was on (when the display was closed) and the computer was a little bit warm and the fans were blowing out warm air. This is the 2nd time this has happened, once with the original memory, and today's panic with the 2 1gb sticks of Patriot RAM I installed a couple days ago.
Any info on how to fix this problem or what I should do is strongly appreciated

USB Device: IR Receiver, Apple Computer, Inc., Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mAI don't think you got a KP when the machine was off, but rather you may have closed the lid before the MB was fully powered down and it went into a sleep state.
Did you try running the Apple Hardware Test to see if the ram is bad? Since yo never had a KP before adding new ram, and the only change was adding said ram. My guess is that its the memory that is the cause.
I cannot vouch for patriot ram, but I suggest in the future you consider Crucial as its a higher quality ram.

I have done everything recommended in all of the other threads relating to this issue -
Uninstalled the entire CS and used the Adobe cleaner tool - to no avail.
Uninstalled just Encore and re-installed, nothing.
And multiple combinations of the above mentioned.
Really need this to work, ASAP. We've tried to contact Adobe via phone, chat, and other means. They are very to receive an audience from, it appears. Can anyone offer a different solution?
This is for a brand new edit suite that is running Windows 7 pro, 32 GB of RAM, and the [email protected] GHz.I did not see this earlier. Forums are a bit odd today.
Do you have a subscription (to the cloud) or is this a perpetual license? You cannot run Encore in trial mode.
Generally, with CS6 suite (or earlier?) this indicated that Premiere is not activated, or there is a problem with activation. What version are you trying to install?
