Cannot see source code

I have just installed Contribute CS4 and connected to my web
site. When I "view" my home page it shows fine but when I click"
Edit Page" I cannot see the source code. There is just nothing
showing to edit. What am I doing wrong? Also when I finish editing
this message I cannot find any button to save it!

You can use any suitable html or plain text editor to edit
the source code of pages through Contribute. On windows you can use
f.i. Notepad. You just have to let Contribute know which program
you want to use (main menu>edit>preferences>file
editors).

How to avoid "Cannot display source code at this location"?

This debugger message really annoys me. It seems to me that
sometimes when my program fails the debugger returns nice friendly
messages telling me exactly what line numebr an object is
undefined. This is great. But half the time I get message of this
nature.

Why does the debugger refuse to show the line number of the
code sometimes?
Is there acoding practice that one should use to avoid these
unhelpful debug messages?
It is very annoying when you have a 200 line function that
tells you that somehting is undefined SOMEWHERE in the function
without giving you a line number. Granted at least AS3 does
actually warn you....(unlike AS2) but I am constantly plagues by
these "Cannot display source code at this location" messages.
An anyone offer any explanation to why these messages dont
display line numebrs or how to code in a way that avoids them?

Yes, this is what I need to do, but also it needs to display the source code of that html file that the server produces in response to the client's request. Also, in this case, I am the client requesting that the server return some html file, and I'm not sure where the server is. But the webserver.java file that I shared on the forum is on my local machine. I was wondering if I could modify this webserver.java file at my home so that any html file the server returns to me would automatically display the source code. This is a school project of mine and I am stuck on this one thing here.
Further, where would I put the "foo.html" file so it can be written to?

Normally, when you download a Java SDK, and you install it, it automatically installs a src.zip with it inside the JDK (for ex. C:\Java\sdk1.5_013) .
If you then right click your project, take properties, select java build path and go to the libraries tab, you can see your JRE unsed by eclipse.
When you open thatone, you have rt.jar, and several other jar files.
You can edit the source attachment of every jar file (i don't know which one is needed) to point to this src.zip, and then you can open the sources.

Cannot find source code for Employee Benefit application

I am trying to find the Employee Benefit Sample Application which used to be provided by Oracle at http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/ias/content.html. Unfortunately I couldnât find the source code anywhere, neither by searching through oracle sites, nor through the internet.
Could someone please help me get it, since I just started working on applications based on this model and it is really important for me to have a complete example that works.

Cannot see Source system Assignment after Transporting to QA

Hi All
I need your help once again, I transported a ODS object from DEV to QA, In dev it has a source system assignment but, in QA I don't see the source system assignment.
I went into sm59 and did a test connection and authorization, everything looks fine. I did a restore connection and replicated data sources, and transported again, but still I don't see the source system.
On R/3 side the application componenet nodes did not get transported with the data source.
Please let me know if I am missing anything that needs to be transported.

Please see the import log for that transport in se01 in the BW dev system.What is the exact error messages it gives?U may need to also look at the long text of the messages.
Another point abt what u have said..that in the corresponding R/3 QA system,the datasource is not showing up in rsa6,am I right?
then there was some problem with the transport from R/3 dev,that contained the datasource definition.check that transport too..

Cannot see OData code in browser

When i go to "https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa/_api/projectData/projects/" to view the code and try to generate custom Odata, I get the following in my browser (I'm running IE 11):

Very new to this: Cannot see code for a package in SQL Developer

I know I'm doing something wrong but I certainly don't know what. I'm looking for the code to go along with a package. I can see the procedures the package calls and I can see a list of procedures but I cannot see the code for those procedures. I have tried using describe on the pop up and I just don't see anything but a window showing me the parameters the procedure will use. I want to see the code it will use.
Can someone walk me through this or point me in the right direction?

I can only assume you're on 2.1 or 2.1.1 since you don't even say. If you click on the tree showing the various objects after establishing your connection, when you get to packages and you click the package you want, you'll see the spec. Now click on the plus sign and there should be 'package name' body. If you click that body icon, you say you still can't see the code?

Its pretty strange that u r working with Java and worried about source codes. There are plenty of codes available around the internet.
However if u want to see the source codes of the applications u have downloaded, do one thing, unzip the jar to ur hdd and the use any decompiler to decompile the class files and make the project using the java files generated there by.
If the files are obfuscated (as hopefully they will be), u have to make bit reverse engineering otherwise use any debugger (I recommend using Netbeans) and debug the application.

How to view RUN_REPORT_OBJECT buil-in package source code

I'm creating a batch report that will execute from PL/SQL not forms - so I can't use this built-in directly on my PL/SQL procedure. How do I view RUN_REPORT_OBJECT source code and that of the functions that it calls.

Why we cannot see the created tracks in NWDI?

We created 3 tracks(A,B,C) in our NWDI.
However,
1) only one track( track A) is showing up;
2) Developers can check in their code into TrackB and TrackC without
error messages BUT we cannot see the code change any where.
So TrackB and C are existing but invisible.

create the same program in your DEV client , by cut & paste the code from the other envionment , this will create a transport, activate the program and transport.

Can't See PHP Code

Hi, I was using Dreamweaver MX to edit the index.php file on
my website. It was working fine - just made the changes clicked the
X to close down the application, it asked me if I wished to save
the changes. I clicked "Yes" and it worked.
Then after I installed IE7 found that Dreamweaver MX didn't
work so bought Dreamweaver 8 and then applied the 8.0.2 updater.
I can still open the index.php file but I cannot see any code
never mind edit it!
Any ideas how I can get this code to show itself so I can
edit it?

Form beans will be created in the default package for the project. We don't create them for you automatically though - unless you click on an Action in the Diagram, and choose "Go to Form Bean" from the context menu.
If you just create a bean in the Struts Structure pane - that will create the XML entry but not the implementation.
