Cannot update stages - Message 3621-14

Hi,
the full message is :"cannot update stages. There are existing authorization processes based on the current template. [Message 3621-14]"
It appears when I want to modify the stages of an existing approval template. This template applies only to PO documents
I verify that there is no PO pending.

Hi,
You may have to create new stage instead of updating existing one.  Chances are: you have used some templates based on this stage and you have approval histories against them.

    We just published a DPS Newsstand multi-issue app to the App Store this week (completely free publication/subscription), and while many have been able to download the issue successfully, I've heard of a couple of issues thus far. In both cases the users were able to download the app from App Store, and the issues failed when trying to download the issue from Adobe's servers:
    1) "Cannot Update Library" - a user is trying to download the issue on his iPad 3 (we only created a single rendition for this release, but all iPads should work) and is receiving this message. This user is based on the east coast U.S.
    2) A user in China was unable to download the journal. Only when he connected to a U.S. VPN was he able to download it. Based on earlier posts, it seems Adobe prevents users from downloading DPS content in China. Is there a plan to resolve this, if so, when? A large customer base of ours is in China.

    1) "Cannot Update Library An error has occurred."
    If you accidentally used duplicate Product IDs for nonrenditions, change them so that they are unique.
    In the Folio Producer, select the affected folios and click the Update button.
    Edit the Product ID so that it is unique.
    Deselect the Update Contents option, then click Update.
    Repeat as necessary for other folios.
    If the Product IDs are assigned to Retail folios, update the Product IDs for any in-app purchases in device OS developer accounts. It's necessary that they match what is defined in the Folio Producer. See the OS developer Help materials for more information.
    2 ) At this time, you cannot download issues from within DPS viewer apps in China.

  • Error message iPod cannot update b/c all of the playlists no longer exist

    Hello. I have been getting this error message. "Songs on the iPod "MAR(the name of my iPod)" cannot update because all of the playlists selecting for updating no longer exist." And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist. I have a feeling ths might have to do with the fact that on vacation the person I was visiting gave me a gift of putting all of his music that would fit into the external hard drive part of my iPod, and for the past week or so I have been putting that music onto my 40 GB portable hard drive at home. I suspect I took a vital folder out of my iPod by accident. Right now I have the folder iPod_control if I open my iPod up in My Computer. Am I missing something? Right now my iPod is empty because iTunes made a composite playlist last week and I deleted it thinking I could get my real playlists back. Can you help me, or reccomend a site/someone who can? Thank you.

    And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist.
    let's just doublecheck this. folks get this message if they have "automatically update selected playlists only" selected in their itunes "ipod" preferences tab. so bring up that tab ("edit > preferences", click "ipod" while the ipod is showing up in the source list), and do a playlist by playlist crosscheck of the playlists selected in that tab, and the playlists showing up in the itunes sourcelist.
    is there any playlist selected in the preferences tab that isn't showing up in the sourcelist?

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

    I cannot update IPhoto or IMovie. I have the latest OS. I cannot use these Apps either- they both ask me to update to the newest version, but when I try to I get an error message saying that the App store could not complete my request and to please try again later (null). Any ideas??

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Select
    /var/log ▹ appstore.log
    from the hierarchical list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, click the Clear Display button in the toolbar of the Console window and then try the installation again.
    Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
    If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.

    I cannot update from OS X 10.9.4 t0 10.9.5> Whenever I try I get the following message: File couldn't be installed error (513) and something about not having the proper permission.  Under the Macintosh HD sharing and permissions settings I have customized the settings so that (Me) has read and write permission followed by the system with read and write permission, wheel and everyone have Read permissions.

    1. Restart the computer in safe mode. Certain caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up than normal. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    When the login screen appears, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and test. There's no need to log in while in safe mode.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, go to Step 2.
    If there's no change after taking this step, continue.
    2. Back up all data before proceeding.
    Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /var/folders
    Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
              Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
    from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "folders" selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and empty the Trash.

    I was able to get live chat support to solve the problem in my post. It worked immediately. Here is what I was told to do. I needed to perform a clean installation Hopefully, it will work for you, too.
    "To perform a clean installation, first close Firefox completely. (This chat window
    must be closed if it's in Firefox) Then, rename "Mozilla Firefox" to "Old Firefox".

    Since I had already downloaded 4.0, I just went to my download file after renaming the file and ran it.

    About the only thing you can try is using the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall Lion on your Mac over the top of the current install. that will reset all system files and should not touch your personal files or the apps you have installed.
    Or iof you have a recent Time Machine backup use that to restore your Mac to that point in time.
