just got aan iphone tried to download a free app. says billing problem with an old app ( from ipad i guess) continue to screen and the card number listed dosent belong to me. how do i find which app it is and delete it so i can put apps on my iphone
Deleting the app won't solve your problem. When you dowloaded it, you bought it, whether you keep in or not.

HI, I have two apple ids, Icloud is linked to my first one and has started asking me for a password everytime I want to download an app etc, it will not accept my password. I tried to reset it but I dont receive the verification emails. I tried doing it by using the security questions but it wont accept my date of birth stating its different , I dont get it. thanksIt sounds like you have used at least two different Apple IDs in the past to buy apps. Apps are forever associated with the ID you used to buy them. When you change the itunes store ID on a device, then all apps purchased from another ID are no longer valid on your device.
The usual advice is to choose the ID that was used the most and stick with that. You'll have to buy the apps associated with the other ID again. -

Definitely sounds like an issue with your Wi-Fi network. Do any other devices on the network have similar issues? Is it an issue only with downloading apps? You can check by trying to load a website in Safari.
I would try turning your Wi-Fi router off for 1 minute, and back on again.
After doing that, disconnect and re-join the Wi-Fi network on your iPhone and try downloading an app again. -

Awhile ago, I got rid of my credit card because it had been "hacked"(someone was using it). I deactivated it as soon as i could. Now, my Apple ID cant download apps without a credit card. I havent gotten a new card because im afraid that it may happen again. Ive tried to remove my billing information on iTunes, but it wont let me? I know i could make another Apple ID, but i have lots of songs and paid apps on that account that i still want. How can i fix this?
Fix the billing information on the account. Until that is done there is nothing that can be done.
It should be possible to set the billing information to "None" on the Apple ID.
Keep in mind, content acquired from the iTunes store is permanently tied to the Apple ID it was acquired with. -

Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.
