Cant get java to work with firefox trying to download clip from youtube but wont load java

I'm tryng to download clips from youtube using keepvid - my mac air wont load java and i'm using firefox any tips? have updated the software

Ok I have been following the instructions supplied on this website http://www.zentus.com/sqlitejdbc/usage.html.
I have downloaded the jar and the dll file and have placed them into the same folder as my jar file. Then as it says I enter into the command line:
"java -cp sqlitejdbc.jar - Djava.library.path=. - jar CBL_Program.jar" and I get this:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.sqlite.JDBC
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:200)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)

at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method)
at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:169)
at cblprogram.Main.main(Main.java:28)
Which seems to be the same exception as when I run the program from netbeans.
I am really stumped on this one, please can someone help.

  • I can no longer get Twitter to work with FireFox. I use 3.6.21. It loads first thing but when I try to refresh to get new tweets it just spins and won't load. If I try a new tab it won't load at all.

    I guess the question explains it all. Twitter will not reload all the tab does is spin. It's been spinning since noon ET today with no luck. New tabs don't work either, just says waiting for Twitter. If I close the browser entirely it does work properly for a while but not for long. Can someone help me out?

    I'll try to make this clear. I USED to be able to left click on a hyper link and the hyper link would open in a NEW tab. Now for some unknown reason the hyper link by default opens in the same tab (window). I have to right click the hyper link in order for it to open in a NEW tab. (Yes, my 'tools'> 'options'> 'tabs' are set to "open new windows in a new tab." (Please no answers telling me to get rid of the Ask toolbar because I don't have one.) Thank you.

  • Is there a way to get Keychain to work with Firefox 3.5.1?

    I can't figure out how to get Keychain to work with Firefox 3.5.1. It works fine with Safari 4.0.2. An assist would be greatly appreciated.

    HI,
    With Firefox open, from the Menu Bar, select Firefox/Preferences. Click the Security tab. Under Passwords; Select Remember passwords for sites.
    Also, check out this thread http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1692413&tstart=0

    when i use my firefox i cant seem to get skipe to work with it and it tells me invaled port so please help me fix this.

    Hi rockerbelsatx, could you clarify which platform you want to run Firefox on? You posted from an iPad, but there is no version of Firefox for iOS devices, only "Firefox Home." Also, as far as I know, there is no paid version of Firefox for any platform.
    More information on Firefox offerings: http://www.mozilla.org/firefox
    With a little more info, we probably can be more helpful.

  • I am college student and my professors require we use Turnitin however Turnitin does not support Firefox 4 how can I get it to work with Firefox 4 or how can I return to Firefox 3

    Turnitin will not work with firefox 4 how can I return to firefox 3 or how can I get firefox 4 and Turnitin in sync

    The Turnitin system requirements on mention Firefox 3. If it does not support Firefox 4 you can downgrade to Firefox 3.6
    To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
    You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
    To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
    For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles

    no i am sure it is not the database, i use oracle and cloudscape
    interchangingly. i never got the jsp tag to work, however i got around it by
    using java code. they have a class called ContentSelectorExample which you can
    use to exceute a rule. here is my code that seems to work:
    <%@ page import="com.beasys.commerce.axiom.content.Content" %>
    <%@ page import="examples.p13nadvisor.ContentSelectorExample" %>
    <%
    // this is the rule sheet you made in the commerce server admin at wlpsadmin
    String
    ruleSet="ejb://com.beasys.commerce.axiom.reasoning.rules.RuleSheetDefinitionHome/myRules";
    // this is the rule you made in the commerce server admin at wlpsadmin (content
    selector rule)
    String rule="myRule";
    Content[] results = null;
    String contentHome = "com.beasys.commerce.axiom.document.DocumentManager";
    String sortby = null;
    String query = null;
    int max = 1;
    try{
    results = new ContentSelectorExample().executeContentSelector(pageContext,
    ruleSet, rule, contentHome, sortby, query, max);
    // check if there are any results - this tells you if the rule failed or
    succeeded
    if(results != null && results.length > 0){
    %>
    <P>Content for when the rule is a success</P>
    <%
    } catch(Exception ex){ ex.printStackTrace(); }
    %>

  • I ran the update and then firefox stopped working completely ggot a message about .dll that won't work with windows. tried toreinstall new copy of latest but they won't.

    I just ran the update to .4 as the dialog box said to. Now firefox won't work at all. Nothing happens I get a message about a .dll file that is incompatible. Tried to doanload a new copy but that doesn't get any further starting to extract files then it fails to finish. Any thing I can do or have I lost evrery thing including my bookmarked sites?
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened

    Thank you,
    Morbus! It worked like you said. Anyway I think the problem starts with maybe needing to completely clean up my OS and drives as they keep "filling up" real fast - much faster than my usage. Uninstall wouldn't work so I just oened up programs and fond the .exe and then deleted it. Scary moment as I really have seen others so mess up everything doing this but download went well of new copy and yes I have all my bookmarks and settings. YAYS!! so thank you again. Also running so much faster and no glitches like tabs not working th way they should. In end I think I need to get an upgrade from Vista home basic. and just then add my files one at a time to see how all goes.

  • Google does not work with Firefox, Tried everything, WTF

    I am disgusted. How is it possible that a popular browser like Firefox could fail at loading the most popular search engine and web service in the entire world.
    None of the posts on this answer why the hell this is happening and I want to know why I am being forced to use a new browser, transfer all my crap to a new browser just because you guys are too stupid to get google to work.
    Every single other web page loads.
    In every single other browser google works fine.
    Dont try to say it is anything but Firefox.
    Pathetic

    What do you get when you try to load http://www.google.com/ - blank page? 404 error?
    Can you describe what you've tried so far?
    When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    1. Clear Firefox's Cache
    orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
    On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
    2. Remove your google.com cookies
    You can right-click this page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    In the box at the top of the dialog, change mozilla.org to google.com and remove the cookies
    Then try reloading Google. Any progress?

  • How do you get html5 to work with Firefox?

    I have disabled and removed adobe flash player. I go to youtube, enable the html5 trial version, and try to view videos and it won't work. If I enable flash, the videos work fine. I can get html5 to work in Chrome, but it will not work in Firefox. Why?

    It is starting to sound like Google is being a dick and gearing their service to be fully functional with their browser and not others, unless it is the fault of Firefox. Because every video works in Chrome with html5.
    Flash is being annoying. Frequently, it will freeze Firefox, and then I will get an error message saying that the flash player stopped working. I almost always get this freeze on startup of the browser (if I forgot to disable Flash) and then I get other times while using Firefox as well. I only get this problem when flash is enabled, therefore it is flash. You can argue that it is only my computer, which maybe it is, but I cannot find a solution, nor have I been able to solve it, except by disabling flash.

  • How do I get FitBrains to work with Firefox?

    Fit Brain worked great with Firefox until Fit Brain changed their descriptions of the games. Now, everything works up to the actual display of the game where the screen is empty; just a white space. Fit Brain told me they were aware of the problem but nothing new for last 2 weeks. Fit Brain still works with Chrome and Internet Explorer.

    Please consider clearing the Firefox cache: [[How to clear the Firefox cache]]
    Or try beta [https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/] I can confirm that the site worked in this latest beta version.

    Hi im trying to download apps in my ipad but it cannot push through and remained waiting. This happened after i updated my software to ios 6. Can someone please help me?

    You may not get a response as you are shouting at everyone.
    All caps indicates shouting, is considered rude, and is difficult to read.
    Many will not read such posts.
    Try turning off you caps lock and asking again.

    to download some more photos to my macpro from camera, I do not have any icon to import

    Open iPhoto - it's in the Applications folder.
    When iPhoto is running, click iPhoto in the menu bar, and select Preferences.
    On this pane, the third line from the bottom - click what ever is shown there, and select iPhoto.
    To display icons of connected devices, you need to do something else. Click anywhere on the desktop, then click Finder in the menu bar, and select Preferences / General. Check all the boxes as shown:

    this was the first thing i tried, fixed it here is how (SURE FIRE WAY TO GET RID OF IT. TIRED OF SIFTING THROUGH USELESS POSTS TO FIGURE THIS OUT? HERE IS THE LEGIT FIX!)
    open firefox.
    go to Settings > Options > Search
    un-check every search engine
    change the "default search engine" to the engine of your choice and close firefox.
    next go to Start > Run > regedit
    Click search box and type "yahoo" it will take you to the folder containing the registry for "yahoo" delete the whole folder.
    restart firefox.
    Check to be sure it worked, (you may need to reset the "default search engine" again.)
