Cant see .swf file

Hello,
Im using the SWFLoader to load a .swf file, this file is around 2,110k
I have put it in the source, embed it in variable, put the file in website and then put it in the source, but
It doesnt play it.
And in the design view it just shows empty.
Any ideas?

Dont embedd it into variable only use mxml tag like this.
as
<mx:swfloader source="foldername/swffilename" height=100, width=11/> height or width according to u.try it other wise check it the flash player install or not.

i'm having a problem with my hard drive that it's connected to my airport express is that ever time i connect to my drive i cant see my files in i!!

The downloaded file is probably stored at C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates. In general it is probably best to "download and install" updates than download and then install later. Note that you cannot revert to the older firmware if you don't like the update, even if you have the old .ipsw files.

Can't see swf file in live view or browser preview mode in Dreamweaver

I inserted a swf file into a div and it works fine in the standard edit mode (it plays when I push the play button on the properties panel). When I attempt live mode or preview in browser I get the message that i need flash player 10.3, which I have already installed. This is my code:

I have placed a SWF file on the following page as per the

I have uploaded the Scripts folder, which, strangly
dreamweaver placed at the root level of the site, , ,
I can ee the file by it self, so it is online,

What do I need to do, or change in the first page so that I
can see the SWF file in a plain Html page?

As far as I know there aren't flash version 10. So IMHO your
code it's
not correct. I've seen this problem before in another thread.

Found the solution online!
An easy way to locate a file is to open the Finder. From the menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this in exactly as you see it here > /Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you see the PDF Browser plugin, move it to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari to test.

Cant see .swf in web page

I have converted a VOB file in .flv format,and imported it to
flash 8.0.Using mediaplayer
component I am able to view it in flash and able to generate
a html file also.But when I try to put this html page in my web
site application(asp.net) I am not able to see the video Only media
player component is visible.My flv file was very large(80MB)..But
this shuld not give any trouble because I am putting .swf file and
not .flv on my page.
Does large flv give trouble????

Cant see m4r. files in the itunes tones tab

Hello everyone,
I've converted a song, a m4a file to a m4r, so i can get it as ringtone for my iphone (im actually working on macbook pro 15' retina, OSX 10.9.3). I done all the process, but i just see the file on my library and not on the tones section. And when i connect my iphone 5s i cant find the Tones tab either. I can't drop and drag the file on tones, i cant do nothing to put the file there. I've restarted, everything possible, but nothing... Does someone knows why? Thank you

p.s - ive selected TONES on preferences - it shows this tab, but not the file that i converted. Just in case...

Cant see bmp files on imovie a

I have some bmp's that i want to add to my movie, so i created an event in iphoto, so that i could drag pictures from that event into my iphone movie pane. of the 82 images, 20 are bmp, and i cant see any of them in my imovie library, whats going on?

Web page does not see SWF file

Hi, I am wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction?
I have created a web page with Indesign which includes some animation.
When I export it to SWF format it creates seperate HTML and SWF files.
I have moved these two files, together with every other file I used in creating the document to my web host (Hostmonster). I have read on other threads that I probably should have a RESOURCES file, I don't have one.
When I go to my home page, I get a grey screen, which Hostmonster inform me is because the HTML cannot find the SWF file.
Anybody got any idea what I may be doing wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to try and help.
I uploaded the files and folders using Filezilla.
The above image was a screen sho under Hostmonster that shows that my files are indeed there.
I also came across a folder for SWF which I believe belongs to the main website (cliveread.com) and put my file in there, it does not make any difference.
As you will see in 3 both my HTML and SWF files are there.
As a novice I hope you can help.

Can't see .swf files in CS3

i've read quite a few postings on this topic but none of the
fixes seem to work. after upgrading to CS3 from CS2, all of my
embeded .swf files have disappeared from the web. to be clear, i
have the .js files and folders all on the remote site, the .swf and
fla files are in the same file as the html page they are embeded
in. i have tested these pages on two different servers and the
problem persists.

in both situations the problem reoccurs. if anyone has any

That page has a link to a Flash file that should be at:

The Flash file isn't there.

Installed shockwave.....but cant open swf files.....

Eventhough I have installed shockwave player and flash, I am not able to open swf files. Whenever I double click on the swf file, it tells me that windows cannot open this file and asks me to choose what program I need to open it.
Any advise please...

Hi, Flash Player is a browser plugin, not a standalone Player. You may want to reveiw here:

Hi barb, well for one thing the vs of Flash Player is the old one. You need to update to the latest version which is 10.0.42.34.
The first link should be http://www.gourdlamps.com/presentations; that one and the other one work fine for me.
It could be that those two websites have updated to 10.0.42.34.

Then go to this thread and follow my instructions, except use the links I gave you. The procedures are the same.
Before you do any of this, take a look at the Uninstall article and the last two NOTES. They are very important when uninstalling IE. The last NOTE: Use the "See Details" If you see the old version of 10.0.32.18 still there, follow those instructions in that NOTE.

Also one other difference is after Adobe confirms you have the 10.0.42.34 installed, you would go to the manage add ons
and look for Shockwave Flash Object.....ActiveX Control......Flash10d.ocx ...... make sure that is listed and it is Enabled.
Java: If you have any old Java entries in your Add/Remove, Remove them via the Add/Remove process, wait until the entry no longer appears and when you are finished, Reboot. Unable to see swf files stored in UNC paths

We have asked to create a swf movie, which can be seen only with mapped drives, but not in UNC paths, making impossible to have the file in our intranet.
We do not have any error, it is just not loaded.
What are we doing wrong?

Set up policyfile logging and see if the player is throwing security errors. I'm not sure what our limits on that kind of pathing are (but the logging should show you)

LR cant see xmp files unless opened as text file then saved.

Hello I have spent the entire day trying to solve this and I finally found a fix but not the cause. I have tried all the typical ways to sync/read/render to see the xmp data in LR. I spent 3 hours with tech support, and posted on several forums.
After all of this I found the only way for me to see the xmp data is to open the xmp as a text document then save it go into lightroom read metadata and it shows up. This obviously isnt a workable solution for thousands of files so I need to find a cause.
So a little info. I'm using LR5 on a windows. I edit clients images then send them the xmp files with those edits. I have one client thats photos when imported do not show metadata or develop adjustments. This is the only solution I have found to see the info. I believe they are using LR 4 and a MAC.
Is it possible that the problem is the original files are saved on a mac then transfered to my windows machine.
Please any help would be appreciated.
