Cant use more than one authorization group per report with SBO CR Basic

Cant use more than one authorization group per report with SBO CR Basic.
I have installed on SAP Business One SBO 2007 SP00 PL49 the Crystal Reports Basic 2.0.0.7.
i have defined two users, manager and supervisor.
I have defined two groups, M and S.
Manager belongs in managers (M), and supervisor is assigned to the supervisors (S).
i enter to one report, disable the public option to enable group authorization, and then check M group.
Manager can see the report, but Supervisor is not allowed. So far good.
Then i uncheck M, then check S in the report properties, and Manager cant get in, supervisor opens the report, So far good.
But when we check both Groups or more, only the M group authorization appears to work, and S group users cant acess, even the report is allowed for that group, also happens with all the groups appart the first (2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.).
It seems that a report can manage a single group, but i have to be shure to tell this to the customer.
So far we have included all Manager users to the S group in order that only S group is used and authorized users can use, but this is duplicating user participation in groups, and it would be much easier to check the desired groups for a single report.

  • Can on use more than one hard drive to backup with time machine ?

    Can one use more than one hard drivewith time machine ?

    Yes, if you have the Mountain Lion operating system installed on the Macs that you want to back up.
    I don't know what the maximum number of hard drives might be, but I have tested with 4 and it works fine. Time Machine automatically rotates the backups when you do this, so drive #1 will be backed up first, then #2, #3, etc. and then back to #1, etc.

  • Can I use more than one html5/js animation produced with Flash/createjs in a website?

    Hi, I am producing some animations with Flash that will be delivered in html5/js trough createjs. The trouble is that, after including the first animation in my html website, the rest of the animations are overwriting with the first one, therefore, if I attemp to insert a second animation in my website, it will actually replace the first animation I already had placed...
    I have already tried the following:
    - change the default canvasID for another one
    - change the resources and Javascript name spaces in Createjs export settings
    - change manually the name of the functions (lib, img, cjs) in the Javacript file
    None of these seem to fix the problem. So, I am now wondering if is actually possible to insert more than one animation in a website....
    I would really appreciate a quick answer, as I am working on a project with a very tight timing, and really need to sort this out a.s.a.p.
    Thank you very much in advance for the help.

    then you made some mistake.
    start with two different flas.  one with a red rectangle on stage and the other with a blue rectangle on stage and nothing else.  publish your html and js files.
    combine the two into one and, if you have a problem, post the code from  your one html file and your two js files.

  • Unable to use more than one processor group for my threads in a C# app

    Hi,
    I set my .Net 4.5 (or 4.5.1) App.Config to:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <configuration>
    <runtime>
    <Thread_UseAllCpuGroups enabled="true"></Thread_UseAllCpuGroups>
    <GCCpuGroup enabled="true"></GCCpuGroup>
    <gcServer enabled="true"></gcServer>
    </runtime>
    <startup>
    <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.5.1"/>
    </startup>
    </configuration>
    I run my app on a windows server 2012 with a NUMA architecture: 2 x [cpu Xeon E5-2697 v3 at 14 cores each with Hyper Thread activated] => 2 x 14 x 2 = 56 Logical Processors.
    This is TaskManager screenshot:
    My app start 80 threads either from "Thread Class" or "Parallel.For" and in both case it only takes 28 Logical Processors, all from the same Processor Group.
    According to MSDN documentation
    and
    Stephen Toub answer, it should use every Logical Processor of every Processor Group.
    Why does the Task scheduler assign my threads on only one Processor Group?
    I also reported this question to
    StackOverflow which have a lot more information.

    One thing before all, is that I suggest that you think through your security model before implementing it in UCM. You should ask yourself questions like :
    - Is security really based on department ?
    - Why two departments need to have access to the same category of document ?
    - Is it really security that I need or classification ? Is it a problem if Accouting have access to Finance or you just don't want Marketing documents in a finance related search ?
    - Maybe what you want is that finance guys to have access to marketing document.
    Without a clear business security model, it's hard to find a UCM security model as it is impossible to associate 2 security groups to one document.

  • Can I use more than one AirPort Express to deal with access problems on my system?

    my house unfortunately has wall-boards which have a layer of tin foil  on  them, which is great when you are looking for cheaper heating bills, but is absolutely awful when trying to install Wi-Fi!

    Yes you can, you could either run cat 5 cable to each one and have them as seperate wii networks or do as I do and use the as range extenders.
    See http://www.apple.com/uk/airport-express/
    Extend an existing Wi-Fi network’s range.
    If you already have a wireless network in your home and want to extend its range,AirPort Express can help. Just place it in range of your primary base station — anAirPort Extreme, AirPort Time Capsule or another AirPort Express — and near the area where you want your wireless connection. Launch the easy-to-use AirPort Utility app on your iOS device or Mac, and you’re mere minutes away from long-range Wi-Fi enjoyment.

  • Using more than one Query in Crystal Reports

    Dear all,
    we want to use two queries an combine them in one crystal report.
    How does this work?

    Sorry my mistake.
    It IS possible to join results from 2 different BW queries.
    What CR does not support is the join between BW data and relational data.
    Still the best practice is to do the join in the database (eg. using an InfoSet)
    How many rows do you expect to get from each query?

    Create a concatenated disk set
    Increase storage space with a concatenated RAID set (also called “Just a Bunch of Disks” or JBOD). If you need one large disk, but you have only several smaller disks, you can create a concatenated disk set to use several small disks as one large disk.
    Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in Launchpad.
    Select one of the disks that you want in the set, and then click RAID.
    Click Add (+), and type a name for the RAID set.
    Choose a format from the Format pop-up menu. Usually you’ll choose the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format.
    Choose Concatenated Disk Set from the RAID Type pop-up menu.
    Drag the disks you want to add to the set to the list on the right.
    Click Create.
    Exerpt from:
    Disk Utility 12.x: Create a RAID set - Apple - Support
    Note that the biggest CON to concatenated RAID configurations is vulnerability to volume failure. If either disk fails, the whole volume fails. If you choose this option, I would highly recommend backing up your music to a cloud service. There are very cheap per GB/storage, and some of the most reputable actually offer unlimited storage:

  • Can I use more than one database connections in a jdeveloper project?

    I use jdeveloper version 9.0.4.0 (build 1407),Can I use more than one database connections in one jdeveloper project?

    9.0.4 is a fairly old version, so you may only find a few people who know how it worked.
    Assuming you're using ADF BC, once known as BC4J, once know as JBO, in the project, and that the architecture hasn't changed much, then the answer is only 1 connection per project.
    Programmatically you're free to use as many connections via JEE as you see fit, but ADF BC is limited to one connection.

  • Use more than one look and feel in the Portal

    Hi,
    I'm searching for a solution to use more than one Theme in the portal. It's not based on user or a role. One and the same user should be able to enter the portal and depending on his adress he should be rooted to A or B theme.
    We are usein EP6 sps13.
    Kind regards
    Michiel Veenemans

    Hello,
    To my feeling you should be work with display rules.
    You probably have user who need one theme and other user you want to give another theme. By using display rules you can assign a theme to one user group and another theme or themes to another group.
    So depending on the group the user is assigned to you get another theme. This way everybody uses the same URL and a theme can be altered with the default user functions.
    Best regards,
    Frederik

  • Using more than one Business area in the same report

    Hi,
    Is it possible / recommended to use more than one business area in the same report.
    For example, I have a sales (business area sales) report on one tab and a rebates(rebates business area) report on a second tab.
    Thanks

    Hello
    Possible: yes
    Recommended: no
    This can certainly be done and Discoverer will not prevent you from having reports that use different business areas as you describe.
    However, for management and security purposes it does not make for ease of use. As you know a user has the ability to share a workbook with another user. If they do this then ALL reports within that workbook are shared. If the receiving user does not have access to one or more of the business areas then some reports will run and some will not. This can be very confusing to an end user and a possible nightmare to administer.
    My recommendation would be to have a workbook per business area and not mix.
    If there is more than one business area per functional area, for example sales and returns, then so long as the users have access to both business areas then you could use a common workbook.
    Personally I would not even do this, so my strongest advice would be to have all reports in a workbook written against the same business area.
    Hope this helps
    Michael

  • Using more than one textpds.conf

    I have customer who has several custom applications supported by different developers groups.
    They use a lot of text pluggable data sources.
    Is it possible to use more than one textpds.conf in the same report instance?
    The idea is to avoid that one application deployment does not interfere with the others applications deployed in the same report instance.
    Thanks in advance.

    nope.

  • Using more than one Ethernet port

    So I just brought myself another pair of TP link wifi adapters as I already had some, but the ones I had only had 1 port and these have 3. So I set it all up and try to use 2 ethernet ports as I want to use my xbox one and Laptop through these adapters. So when i set it up and pluged the ethernet cables into the router the broadband light on the hub goes orange and the broadband is lost unitl i take out one of the ethernet cables and reset the hub it works fine with just one.
    I just really want to know why i cant have more than one ethernet cable plugged into the hub.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    You can only connect one broadband extender to the home hub. This must be designated as the Access Point. All the rest need to be slaved to that Access Point. These need to be individually "paired" to the AP one connected to the home hub.
    You can still use the other ports on the home hub for direct Ethernet connections.
    If you try and connect more than one extender to a home hub Ethernet port, you will create a loopback, which will crash the home hub.

  • Using more than one Send connector

    Hello
    Is it possible to use more than one send connector? Of course it is ;-), but also whit this requirement? I have an additional domain hosted on my exchange. This domain has to use a smarthost with authentication. Now, only this two users should could use this connector. It would be cool, if there is a permission config to allow a group and deny the others or something like this... What could be a solution?
    Thanks
    Norbert

    Hi,
    Would help to know the version of the Exchange in your environment.
    For Exchange 2003, please do the configuration on the send connector.
    Expand ESM, Administrative Groups, Routing Groups, Connector, right click the send connector, select the Properties, in the Delivery Restrictions, please apply with the corresponding group.
    For Exchange 2007, routing based on specific senders or a group is not supported in Exchange 2007 by design.
    Thanks

  • Permit more than one document type per series

    Hi folks,
    Please let me know what is the precise use of :
    "permit more than one document type per series"
    Cheers...
    Jitu

    Hi
    Certain country regulations permit document numbering series that contain more than one document type.
    All of these documents are part of the same numbering series.
    Select this option if these regulations are relevant for the company.
    This setting determines the settings that are displayed in certain Document Numbering windows,
    and cannot be changed after it has been selected.
