CATS_DA general receiver

Hi,
I'm uploading the cats_da data into BW. In cats_da we have the general receiver field, which seems to be a mix between order, costcenter ecc, it depends on the line. Also the field is not in catsDB table.
Can you please explain the exact algoritm behind the field or where I can find some documentation or maybe the code behind the field?
many thanks
M

Hi,
I can think of following receivers in CATS.
1). Receiver WBS Element
2). Receiver Order. This can be any type of order. For instance maintenance order, production order etc.
3). Receiver Cost Centre
4). Network and its Activity. Network is also a kind of order.
And there is a field called "Order Category" which you can use to identfy the orders. If you haven't already checked it, then please go through the following link.

Hope this helps you.

  • MS-9024 General receive error

I'm a newbie to Oracle Lite. Have been able to package an application, but I'm getting the MS-9024 error when I attempt the sync. Only info I can find on the error is Cause: "Error occurs when sending data three socket" (guessing that should be "through socket"), Action: "Check network connect and resync". All the mgptrace_log_thread-11 log indicates is a java.net.SocketException: socket closed.
Anyone have some helpful info for this newbie that might get me past this problem?
    Product: Oracle Lite 5.0.2
    Operating system: Windows 2000
    RDBMS Version: Oracle 9i
    Thanks for any help.

I don't have specific answer to your problem, what I can tell you is that you should have the latest release of Oracle Lite 5.0.2.10 (a big patch is available on Metalink).
I use Oracle Lite 5.0.2.10 for now 2 weeks, and I do synchronisation with msync of with C# through my .net application, using Wifi to serveral PPC devices and it works fine.
It works fine too with the PPC emulator provided with Visual Studio 2003.
    Hope it helps.

  • Never received the welcome kit that comes with GCU

Apparently there is a welcome kit - an email with coupons - that gets sent when you purchace GCU. I have had GCU for over 6 months now and only now I hear about every one else getting the welcome kit.
I want one too. Is it possible or too late to ask now?

    Hello krsna,
You are correct! Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) does in fact come with a Welcome Packet and you should generally receive it within 2-3 days of signing up for the program. That said, you should have received yours by now, without a doubt.
I’m going to send you a private message with more information about this, so please be sure to keep an eye on your inbox. You can check your private messages by clicking the small envelope on the top right of the screen while logged into the forums.

  • Notification center crashes - the possible fix for me - remove Twitter.

I recently updated to a new Mac, and the only issue I was having intially was Notification Center hanging and crashing the computer when I slid it over.
I don't know if others were having this problem, or just me; most of the threads I had seen about the issue were dealing with older versions of OS X (Mountain Lion or Lion)  When this hang occurred, the only way around it I had was to hard-reboot the computer, or use the "KillNotificationCenter.app" I downloaded from an older post in this forum.  The computer basically became entirely unresponsive, and often the Notification Center was half slid out when this happened.
It appeared at first to be more frequently an issue if I started the Notification Center right after waking up, but that ended up not being the case.
After experimenting a bit, I think I've figured out the problem (for me, at least), after playing around with things a bit.  I have not had a single Notification Center crash.  There may be something else at play, so I can't confirm this, but for me, all the Notification Center crashes stopped after I removed Twitter from the Notification Center.   This is the default, built in Twitter from OS X, not any Twitter applications.  I have not tried any of those.   It was not incredibly useful for me, since it only returned a minimal amount of information, and I don't in general receive a lot of DMs or mentions, etc.
I believe what originally drove me to try this was something I saw in the crash logs, but I can't find my notes.  But I can say I haven't had any problems since doing this.
Again, maybe I'm the only one, but I thought I'd pass this along in case anyone else was still having problems with Notification Center crashing.

If you literally "checked" them, meaning the checkboxes, that only affects their visibility. To remove them, select one and then click on the "minus" part of the "plus minus" at lower left.

  • MSI Big Bang-XPower: Errors and Bluescreens Trying to Install Windows 7 64-bit

Hello!  This is my first build since... Well, Pentium 3 really.  It's been an adventure learning the new hardware.  The PC components listed in my signature are the pieces to the machine I'm working on currently, and the one related to this issue.
It boots up just dandy, all the bright and shiny mobo lights blinking reassuringly, recognizes the full 12 GB of RAM in setup, and everything seems peachy until I get to loading the Windows 7 install.
I've tried using an old Vista disc I had lying around, no go.  Same issues.  I tried loading a different Windows 7 Pro 64-bit disc.  Same issues.
These are the error messages I'm receiving most often:
"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1.) Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2.) Choose your language settings, and then click 'next'.
    3.) Click "repair your computer".
If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
File: \windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe ((This changes every now and then, as does the status number. Always in the system32 file though))
    Status: 0xc0000098
Info: Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt."
The error is inconsistent in the files it mentions, also often referring to:
    "File: \windows\system32\config\system
    Status:  0xc0000001
Info:  Windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing, or corrupt."
The HDD is still brand new and entirely blank, not yet even formatted.  I have not done much changing things around in the BIOS, because I haven't done much in the BIOS in a very long time, and I'd rather not accidentally make things worse without first obtaining external help.  I do not currently intend to overclock the machine, as I am a huge wuss and don't want to screw up my shiny new equipment with my noobsauce. XD
I did some searching around the Interwebs, and found references to similar problems where it was suggested that the person remove all but one stick of RAM and try loading the OS at that point, but it was also mentioned that one stick for that person would be 2 GB.  The least I have available to me is 4 GB, and I have attempted this with no change.  In this instance, flashing the BIOS to a new version was also recommended.  However, I have never flashed a BIOS before and am leaving that as a last resort unless otherwise advised.
Setup currently lists my BIOS Version as V1.2 060910.
It has on a few attempts made it past the 'Starting Windows' screen, and this is the kind of error I generally receive there on a bluescreen:
    "STOP: c00002221 Unknown Hard Error
    \Systemroot\System32\ntdll.dll"
Over the course of this build, I found that the two previous HDDs that I'd ordered from Newegg were dead and were neither consistently spinning up nor being detected by the mobo, but the current one seems to be recognized just fine.  I'd been worried it was a mobo issue, that it just wasn't recognizing them.
I've also read around, and am wondering if perhaps this could be related to a RAM incompatibility issue with the mobo and processor?  The RAM that was recommended to me for this build was Triple Channel DDR3 PC 1333, and is supposedly low voltage enough to play happily with the current equipment.
I'd thought to plug the HDD into another machine and format it/install the OS there, then hook it back up and see if it boots, but I have serious doubts as to whether that will ultimately solve the problem, and solving the problem is really what I'm after.
All the equipment save for the power supply and HDD were bought on Newegg.com.
Any assistance would be incredibly appreciated.  I'd really like to get the new baby up and running.
    :D

Welp, I wasn't a moron bios flasher >.>... It was stable when I flashed it, and it said it was successful... I cleared CMOS after it was done, did the reboot and load optimized thing and reboot again...
Aaaaand it won't go into Windows.  Now, I went back at that point and set all the settings back to what let it boot originally:  9-9-9-20, 1.6v, CR of 2... made sure it was booting in the right order, unplugged the USB...
And it freezes midway through the little windows icon forming, bluescreens, and shuts down.  I haven't been able to catch what it is yet, since it's crashing so fast.
I tried to run the windows repair thing when the option was given after the crash, and it gets partway through loading the files and then crashes again, sending me right back to the same place.
    *facedesk*
    On the bright side, what files it does load seem to be loading quickly. _ _;
Edit:  Tried booting into my Ubuntu drive, no luck.  Just sits stuck at the startup screen.  Tried loading Failsafe Defaults... still crashes.  Still fiddling with it.  I'm hoping the fact that I can get into the BIOS at all means I didn't bust it, but never done this before.
Edit:  Managed to load into Startup Repair with just one stick of RAM in it, fiddling with it still and seeing what happens.
Edit:  _ _;; Bluescreened and restarted.  *facedesk... facedesk...*
Edit:  Tried Startup Repair again, and it said 'Startup Repair cannot repair this this computer automatically.'  This was the information it gave:

The mouse isn't lagging across the screen anymore at least, I guess.
Edit... Again >.>: After some searching around the web, it seems as though there have been other people with similar problems with other boards, etc.  Most suggested a repair or reinstall of Windows.  I don't have much on the drive installed yet that can't be redone, so I'm going to venture a reinstall.  Will post results.

  • Infinity upgrade at exchange appears to have kille...

    Hi all,
I know there are plenty of threads about slow connection speeds and I was rather reluctant to start another, but having previously spent the best part of an afternoon on the phone purely to get an email password reset, I thought I would try for some help here before braving the call centres again!
Anyway, as the title  suggests, at the end of January I received an email telling me that my local exchange (Dartford, Kent) was being upgraded to this "infinity" malarkey, there may be a window of a few minutes where my connection went down and that I would need to leave my hub on and let it settle down for a week or so once the upgrade was complete. "No problem" thought I, "whilst I'm quite happy with my option 3 package, it's good to know I can probably upgrade if I want to in the future." Plus, the email seemed to suggest that even if I didn't upgrade I still might see an increase in speed.
You might appreciate that I am rather peeved therefore to see that since the upgrade was completed in mid February, my downstream connection has dropped from a perfectly adequate 7/8,000kbps to a pretty much useless and rather flakey 3,000kbps.
Now I know there are people who have far worse connections than this, but when I have been paying a premium BT price for a nice, stable and reasonably fast connection for the last four years I'm not overly impressed with the idea of continuing to pay that premium price for a connection that can no longer even reliably stream a programme from Iplayer, let alone cope with that radical 21st century idea of two users trying to access the Internet at the same time!
I should stress that there have been no changes whatsoever to the setup at my end. The router is connected to the master socket in exactly the same way as it has been for the last four years. That said, if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can convince BT's software that my line is still capable of handling the throughput it has managed quite happily for the last four years, I will be happy to try them. Curiously, a friend who lives nearby had a similar problem which was miraculously solved once he agreed to sign up for a new contract. I won't be putting on the tinfoil hat just yet, but the thought does occur...
If anyone can offer some thoughts, suggestions etc... On what I might do to return my connection to what it was previously, I would be tremendously grateful.
    Thanks

    Hi Geoff,
I could have sworn the email mentioned the exchange being upgraded to infinity but I have long since deleted the relevant email and from what you have said, and some further research on the Internet, I am coming round to the conclusion that I was mistaken and that it was actually an upgrade to ADSL2. Either way it has still put the mockers on my connection speed!
I've tried the quiet line test and all seemed pretty **bleep** quiet to me ( I couldn't hear a thing and neither could my better half), unfortunately the BT speedtest refuses to work and simply tells me that it is unable to perform a test. I've tried it a number of times since you first suggested it last night.
There's nothing obvious to suggest the problem is at my end. I've tried swapping filters, checking there were no loose connections etc, but all seems to be pretty much as it was before the problem started. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and brave the help desk. I guess I should book a days leave from work to make the call...
One final question if I may? I have been toying with the idea of switching providers recently. I'd rather stay with BT because, as I said previously, whilst they are expensive, I value the good service I have generally received to date over saving a few beer tokens each month, but if I am given the run around, as I seems to be the norm when I contact tech support, I may just bite the bullet and go. If this does turn out to be a problem at the exchange am I likely to see the same problem even when switching provider?
Thanks to all that have taken the time to comment and offer assistance, it is genuinely appreciated.

  • DFSR performance question - high latency and high bandwidth - windows 2012r2

    Hello,
       first question here...
We have a pair of backup servers, connected with a 1G WAN link (290 ms latency).
I am replicating backup files (mainly SQL files) between them (one-way), for DR/BCP purposes.
a Get-DfsrState regularly shows hundreds of files in waiting state, and only 16 or so being downloaded at the same time. The system is using very little bandwidth, much less than what I have set in the replication properties (256mbps)
Is there any parameter I can tweak to increase the number of files being transferred in parallel copies?
Before you ask, the WAN circuits are fine and currently ~80% free. I can easily saturate them using other technologies (rsync, gluster, HTTP). The servers are doing very little as well (2x6C, 32G ram, lots of disks, CPU usually under 10%).
Any idea on how to speed this up? I saw some registry settings in old articles for windows 2008r2, but nothing for 2012r2.
    Thanks

    Hi,
It seems that the number of downloading files is not related to bandwidth.
By default, a maximum of 16 (four in Windows Server 2003 R2) concurrent downloads are shared among all connections and replication groups. Because connections and replication group updates are not serialized, there is no specific order in which updates are
received. If two schedules are opened, updates are generally received and installed from both connections at the same time.

    Hi scoremann;
It has been my experience that when deleting files from a server that they are not place in Trash but are simply deleted immediately. I have generally received a warning to that effect.
Since the files and folder are on a sever you are going to have to recover them there. This will probably mean talking to the admin for the server. Hopefully the server is backed up with a high enough frequency to do you some good.

  • Regarding Abstract Interface

    Hello,
What makes the difference between the Normal Interfaces and Abstract Interfaces. Is there any technical differences between these two interfaces.
    Thank you

    Hi,
You use a message interface to describe a platform-independent or programming-language-independent interface, which you want to use to exchange messages between application components using SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
When you create a message interface you define the communication parameters by using the attributes Mode and Category as Sync/Async, Inbound/Outbound or Abstract.
Message interfaces of this category can perform the role of an inbound or outbound interface within integration processes, depending on whether it is used to send or receive a message. For this reason, no direction is specified during definition. In integration processes, you can use the same abstract interface to receive and send a message. Abstract message interfaces generally receive the message from an outbound interface of a sender system and send it to an inbound interface of a receiver system, thus performing a complementary role.
BPM can interact and deal with only Abstract Interfaces. And so, if you have a transformation step inside the BPM , the source and target interface will have to be abstract interfaces.
These characteristics determine the direction of an interface:
    ·        An outbound interface sends a request message that is only used to make a communication party aware of data sent, without waiting for a response message. In the case of the latter, we also refer to publishing interfaces.
    ·        An inbound interface receives a request message that you reply to with a direct response message or whose data you can process in the system without a response.
    Thanks

  • Keep Skype in an ONLINE state

    Hi,
just purchased a skype enabled home phone, have a skype local number with an unlimited subscription.
Problem is it keeps setting my status to away and i keep missing my calls.
is there a feature or setting i can force online and never go away?

As far as I know, Skype-compatible hardware devices tend to remain online. The only time they aren't:
    1. There is a setting in that device that forces it to another state.
    2. You change the state in another Skype client either manually or automatically (when idle) and that updates the online status of your account. This then toggles your online state for the hardware device as well. So if your Skype client is toggled to Away, that may be causing the issue.
I personally leave myself in online at all times. I have nothing set to change any of my states and my hardware device is always online. I generally receive all my calls.

  • The Right Way in Activating?? * Gamer's Club Unlocked*

Now if I get all of this working... And I pre-order lets say Halo 5.. It comes with a $10 Reward Certificate.. How long after do I get that?  As it would be silly not to by the next game with that. Can it be used on another pre-order game like Fallout 4? If there anything else I should know about the $10 Reward Certs?  Also thank you for answering my question

    Hi JMattes,
First, welcome to the forums! You sure come out swingin’ with the questions.
Joking aside, I can certainly help out with all of your questions around Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) and some of our gaming promotions, such as Get $10 for pre-ordering certain titles. As far as the actual GCU sign-up goes, a trip to the store is required either way, regardless of purchasing it on BestBuy.com or in-store. So, you may as well just head to the store and do it there! It’s a very straight forward process and the store should easily be able to get you set up.
As for the Get $10 promotion, where you get $10 for pre-ordering certain games; please know this isn’t even a GCU specific promotion. This promotion is valid for anyone who is a My Best Buy member. The $10 is credited to you in the form of 500 My Best Buy points and you generally receive these points 15-20 days after the game is released. Yes, you can use this credit towards future pre-orders, but obviously not right away as you have to wait for the game to release. Here’s a list of current games on the promotion!
Lastly, GCU can be used both in-store, as well as on BestBuy.com. All you need to do is make sure your My Best Buy membership is linked to your BestBuy.com account and you’re set.
I believe this should cover everything. If you end up with more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! It’s what we’re here for.
    Cheers,

  • Firewall and such

I was just wondering how to set up the firewall on my imac as i have no clue what to do. i was also wonderingin if there is a built in anti virus feature in OSX. thanks

    Hi Daniel,
THe default firewall setttings in OSX are pretty good and there is a fair amount of information about using them in the in the Knowledgbase. Click on "advanced search" in the discussion menu bar above, enter "kmosx4 firewall" (without the quotes) in the first search field, and hit return.
THere are no "wild" viruses which affect OSX. You can install a vrus checker like http://www.clamxav.com/ if you wish (and there are commercial offerings from Nortons, Virex and Drive Genius, though in at least the first two cases they have caused more problems (lots) than they have solved (none) for Mac owners running OSX) . The only real reason to do so at present is if your computer is used as a server by unprotected windows machines and they are likely to download files from your email attachments folders.
The last actual Mac virus that I saw was in the mid 1990's. I've seen 4 (all contracted from floppies when students tried pirating software in an educational environment), since I began using macs in 1986. I generally receive more PC viruses than this EACH DAY.
Unless you really have to use a virus checker, because of employer IT service requirements or because your Mac is being used in the fashion descrbed above, you are really likely to be far, far safer without one, given the problems which they have, on occasion, caused in the past, at least until a virus which can genuinely affect OSX appears. We've been waiting for several years now!
    Cheers

  • Function Module ITOB_SERIALNO_MODIFY_SINGLE

    Hi All ,
I m trying to use this FM ITOB_SERIALNO_MODIFY_SINGLE for changing the serial number ( as in transaction IQ02) . When i call this FM it gives me Subrc as 0.. but it doesnt commit in the database.. though i have given an option to commit in the FM .. and also i tried doing and explicit commit but still it doesnt work ..
    Pls help.
    -Thanks
    Kanchan.

    hI,
This RFC-capable function module enables you to change master data for an individual serial number without using a dialog.
    Notes
General notes for the RFCs for processing individual technical objects (function group ITO3):
The master data is communicated in an interface structure (based on view ITOB) that is generally used for technical objects.
Each RFC returns the processed data in the structure E_OBJECT_REC to the the caller, independent of the action that is to be performed (create/change/read).
An RFC for creating or changing master data generally receives this data in the structure E_OBJECT_REC. However, depending on the object to be processed, only part of the data is processed, namely:
Create functional location: Processes data from structure ITOBAPI_CREATE_FL
Change functional location: Processes data from structure ITOBAPI_MODIFY_FL
Create equipment: Processes data from structure ITOBAPI_CREATE_EQ
Change equipment: Processes data from structure ITOBAPI_MODIFY_EQ
You specify whether an authorization check should be performed when executing the create or change transaction using the optional parameter I_AUTH_TCODE (default: without check).
You specify whether the data should updated using the optional parameter I_POST_BUFFER (default: update data).
You specify whether the (updated) data is written to the database per Commit using the optional parameter I_COMMIT_WORK (default: no Commit).
In Customizing (Field Selection) for master data dialogs, entries defined as manadatory are generally not checked by the RFCs.
Special notes on function module ITOB_SERIALNO_MODIFY_SINGLE:
The parameter I_TRANSFER_MODE controls whether inheritance-relevant fields should be transferred to installed pieces of equipment.
The system uses the structure I_OBJECT_REC_OLD to make 'Before Image' data available to the user. If the structure is not transferred, the 'Before Image' is read by the module.
If it not useful use the <b>FM SERIALNUMBER_LIST_UPDATE</b>.
    Regards

  • CS3 Install Updates "Interpret Footage" Problem

Once I install the CS3 3.2.0 update all my previously imported graphics change their interpritation to HD Animorphic 1080 (1.333).
So when I open existing projects I have to hunt and peck to re interpret all the imported graphics back to square pixels. Any ideas?
Thanks so much - David Joslin

Thank for the reply. I can do that for some projects. But some have so many different Interpolations that it makes that time prohibitive. So I thought I would search for an more permanent answer. But if you have never heard of this problem with that update it sounds like the update may be in conflict with a local setting on my computer. I thought that maybe there was a preference I was missing that set the interpret setting application wide.
Was the 3.2.0 update generally received without issues such as this?

Hmmm, to be honest I haven't tried this but if you open your project and select everything in your project panel and then Interpret footage...does that work ? Maybe test on a small project to see if it works OK....?

  • Transacted QueueSession in WLS8.1sp3

    I'm migrating a WLS6.1sp6 application to WLS8.1sp3.
I have a JMSConnectionFactory which does not have XA Connection Factory Enabled but whenever I obtain a reference to it using its JNDI name I always get returned a JMSXAConnectionFactory.
The knock on effect of this is that createQueueConnection().createQueueSession(true, ...) never returns me a transacted QueueSession.
I've tried every combination of UserTransactionsEnabled="true/false" XAConnectionFactoryEnabled="true/false" without success.
              Any ideas appreciated.

    Tom,
A question on this. If I do not specify any connection factory in the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml, how does the container/MDB know, which connection factory to use for getting connection to the desitnation?
