Hi Mikhail,
Please check the READ RFC destination for this system and user maintained is not locked.
Perform the authorization test for this RFC and check the results.
Hope this helps.

    Hi All,
After two years of CTS+ working without issue, in the last fortnight JCO_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE has occurred. I have reviewed all the configuration  in document http://scn.sap.com/doc/DOC-30177, and it all looks fine. The user configured also checks out fine as well. The user id that is causing all the trouble is CTS_<SID>. We chose this option so we could determine which user in case of future issues. We have two development paths, Project and BAU. So at anyone time transports that have started in the BAU development system will need to be imported into the Project development system (using transport express) and vice versa.  Attached is the security authentication log from the system showing authentication failure. I have also checked the transport routes defined for the business systems in the SLD and these look fine as well. Roles assigned to the user are SAP_CTS_PLUS,
SAP_J2EE_ADMIN, SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER, SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR, SAP_XI_DEVELOPER, Z_CTS_PLUS_ADDITIONAL. I have also checked the permissions on the file at the operating system level.
Any suggestions/advice gratefully received as this really has me scratching my head.

  • Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)

    Hi,
I have a SAP gateway solution developed using librfc.a ( 46C) which is working fine in SAP R/3 system. I am trying to use the same solution to connect to SAP ERP Central Component 6.0. I am getting the following error in the dev_rfc file when i try to submit an IDOC to the SAP system.
Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
                <* RfcReceive: returns 3:RFC_SYS_EXCEPTION
                <* RfcCallReceive: returns 3:RFC_SYS_EXCEPTION
Can some one tell me why this error is coming?
    Thanks in advance,
    Poornima.K

Passwords in 7.00 based system are case sensitive. If your password was created/change in the ERP 6.0 system you need to enter it in CAPITALS (because those were converted in older systems to capital automatically) if you want to use the old librfc.

  • Error in RFC: Name of password is incorrect

    Hi All,
I am using GRC AC 10.1 with SP06 and came across with one issue and so need your help to rectify it.
I have created one cross system groups for all deveopement clients (SAP_DEV_CG) and put all the D-clients for all the landscapes.
While running the risk violations reports on user level, i get to see the violations along with an error: "Risk analysis finished with error. Check log for details". SLG1 reports indicates that there is some issue with the RFC: Name or password is incorrect.
The error is quite clear and self explanatory that there is some issue with the RFC; but my concern is that, as I  have put multiple development clients to this group so how would i know for sure that SLG1 indicates the RFC (password/name) issue to exactly what system. It will not be feasible to go and see all the systems one-by-one. I checked the logs in detail, navigated through all the technical information but not really able to see the particular system name where the real issue is there.
Looking forward to your quick and positive response.
    Thanks,
    Ameet

    Hi Colleen,
Thanks for your response and sorry for this delay in responding with your suggestions.
SM21 results are as below, But I don't see any hints on the connector which is causing the error with RFC:
Exeuting the jobs for each connectors or checking for each connectors one-by-one to investigate with the RFC issue is one option as I had already mentioend in my original post, but that would take quality time to come to one conclusion.
Do we have any way out here to get this sorted out for the connector causing the error.
    Regards,
    Ameet

  • STMS, RFC-error,Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)

    hi.
    I' ve problem with stsm
    i do :
    1) import request from development system to test system
    2) quit from stms
    3) start stms and refresh queues and recive error:"RFC-error,Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)"
after this, i do "reset user tmsadm" and "generate rfc destination" in test system and all works.
    But  when i do 1) 2) 3) all repates again .

    Hello Denis
I have seen a problem recently relating to the error "Name or password is
inocorrect.  Please re-enter." The error can be caused if you are not
using downward compatible passwords.  Please check note 807895.
Ensure that the passwords are compatible, try entering the password in
uppercase and see if this helps.
    Thanks
    Kenny

  • What can I do I Lost system administrator name and password

I have used Leopard reinstall disc to reset password but when I want to make changes ie download software etc I am prompted for system Administrators name and password. My ex set up the computer I may have known the password/name but have forgotten it.

Thanks tried that again. There does not seem to be an administrator account, except for (root) option which I get on using start up as above. I use "my account" to log in but do not have admin access only standard. Neither my account nor other accounts (2) one standard one sharing only have admin allowance. Previously tried changing System Administrator (root) and resetting and resetting keychain which achieved nothing. Problem seems to be there is no system administrator among the accounts set up. There used to be. Any suggestions pls.

  • Sm58 - Name or password is incorrect

    Hi guys
I've got a problem. After the configuration of an idoc-to-file I am facing an error in "sm58" after successfully sending an idoc with "we19".
Status text. "Name or password is incorrect. Please re-enter".
    Thanks for your help...!
    Go:khan

    Hi Gokhan,
Though i guess the problem is with your user id and pswd as pointed out by others, I would suggest you to go through all these steps in an IDOC-XI-FILE Scenario and cross check with what you have done and see if you still have any problem and it will also help you in doing any such Senarios too.I have mentioned everything involved with an IDOC-XI-FILE Scenario.
While doing an IDOC -> XI -> File scenario, The Points to noted are:
    1. You don’t need a DT, MT or a message interface for the IDOC as it itself acts as the Message Interface.
    2. You import the IDOC and use the same in your mapping.
    3. In this configuration note that you don’t have a sender agreement as you don’t have a sender IDOC adapter.
If it is that you wanted to send an IDOC from XI (File to IDOC) , then in this case:
points 1 and 2 will remain, but the 3 will not. You will need a sender agreement for the file and a receiver agreement for the IDOC.
    IDOC -> File scenario ref:
    /people/prateek.shah/blog/2005/06/08/introduction-to-idoc-xi-file-scenario-and-complete-walk-through-for-starters
    Configurations in R/3 side
    1. SM 59 (RFC destinations)
Create a RFC destination on the XI server. The connection type should be R/3 connection. The target host needs to be the XI server.
    2. WE 21 (Ports in IDOC processing)
Create a transactional port. Provide the RFC destination created in this.
    3. BD 54
    Create a logical system.
    4. WE 20 (Partner Profiles)
    a. Create a new partner profile under partner type LS.
    b. Assign the message type in outbound parameters.
    c. Open the message type (Dbl click) and configure the receiver port to the port created.
    Configurations in XI server.
    1. SM59 (RFC destination)
Configure the RFC destination specific to the R/3 system.
    2. IDX1 (Port maintenance in IDOC Adapter)
Create a port and provide the RFC destination.
    TESTING:
WE19 For pushing the idoc in xi through trfc port.
To be able to trigger your IDOC from the SAP ISU system, you will have to set the partner profile in we20. Select your Business System (mostly under Logical system) and then create Outbound entries for whichever IDOC you want to trigger.
You define your basic type also in your partner profile settings, Please go thru the following links to get a better idea about partner profile:

  • SAPJSF  Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)  in NW SR3 NWDI deploy

    Hi,
    I am installing NW7.0  SR3
    In step of deploying :
Initial setup of functional unit Development Infrastructure (DI all-in-one)
    there is an error :
Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
    Destination parameters
    user : SAPJSF
    password : % secure content %
    host : localhost
    sysnr : $$
    client : 001
    language : null
I tried to change the password in ume.r3.connection.master.passwd
which is exacting the same in ABAP side
    but it doesn't work
Anyone has ides to solve this problems?
    Thx.
    John

ideally you should not use NWDI as an Add in, it is not a recommended scenario.
For problem shooting this I would look in the Server0 directory for the RFC trace file which should show you what the issue is.
If not I would then log onto the ABAP system with NWDI down, go to SM50 and increate the trace level of all DIA Wp's but only have the Security component ticked... then I would start up the J2EE and after it has failed to connect I would look through the trace files (after turning off tracing) looking for the word sapjsf. That should tell you exactly why it is failing.
hopefully the sysnr below of $$ was just a typo.
Ensure it is client 001 that you have changed the sapjsf password in (a common error)

  • SM59 - Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a weird situation.
I created a RFC type 3 and when I perform the Test Authorization , I get the error message:
Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
I can logon  target system with the same user and password which I set in the RFC.
    Any idea!?!?!?
    Tks

    HI,
have you did System copy recently on this system ?
    check like this
    go to secstore transaction
under check entries tab -> Selected applications -> select RFC destinations
    execute
the result will show what could be the reason for the error ...
    Thanks

  • Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon) while sending idoc

    Hi All,
In R/3 System we created RFC destination to PI system by using RFCUSER as logon parameters. while executing Test connection it is connecting.
While sending the IDoc from R/3 to SAP XI, it is giving message as "IDoc sent to R/3 System or external program" and immediately displaying the PI Logon Screen with my userid.
When I checked the SM58 , "Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)"  message is giving.
Whether I have to create RFC Destination by using my userid or it may work with RFCUSR id.
When I checked the RFC destinations in R/3 and PI it is working fine.
My  userid and password is working properly.
    What I done wrong?
    Regards
    Sridhar

    Hi,
You have to do the following checks
    1) Check whether that RFCUSER is Present in XI or Not???check in SU01 T-code
    2) In Sm59 , do Remote Logon also, Here this time it shld connect to XI automatically with out asking any Logon Details .
    3) If this is asking the Logon details means, the Logon details which u have provided in SM59 is Completly Wrong

What can I do?  I currently have 2 email addresses hooked up to me.com

MobileMe is closed (as was announced over a year ago). You need to migrate your account to iCloud while you still can - go to http://me.com and follow the link to migrate. You should do this as soon as possible.
Then sign in in System Preferences>iCloud (Lion required) and enable Mail in the checklist there.

  • TS4532 My iPhone V will not connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. It says that the User Name or Password are incorrect even though they're not and I can log on directly to Exchange using the web browser. The connection worked until IOS 6.1.2 was Install

My iPhone V will not connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. It says that the User Name or Password are incorrect even though they're not and I can log on directly to Exchange with the same parameters using the web browser.
I bought the phone when it came out last October. The connection did not work at first, then started without warning in December. It worked perfectly for 2 months then stopped again when IOS 6.1.2 was Installed.
    Help please!

I have forwarded these questions about the version of Exchange server that is being used and whether Microsoft host the mai themselves to the IT Dept but I will not get a reply from them until tomorrow.
In the meantime I have also tried:
Deleting and re-creating the account AGAIN!
And re-setting the phone (recommended as a solution to a similar problem with an iPad in another forum.
    But please remember that:
The phone would not connect for 2 months after I bought it
Then started working unexpectedly in December
Then stopped working again when IOS 6.1.2. was installed
Also why am I the only person affected by this when colleagues with iPhone 3s and 4s who use the same mail system are not (I am still trying to find one with an iPhone V to see if their's works).
Like I said I think that there must be a fault, either with my own phone or with iPhone Vs in general.
