Centering Catalog Content

Greetings!
When a customer does a search, if they get a result that is three items (on a page that will fit four across), then the product search results displays them centered.
Is there a way to do this with a catalog page? This appears to be built with a table, but is there a way to center the table?

if you inspect one of the products suing firebug you'll find that this is how the product code is rendered:
If you then have a look at the CSS section while this product LI is clicked you'll find this is the code that affects the products:
ul.productSmall li {
    float: left;    height: 250px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 0 14px 15px;
    text-align: center;
    width: 180px;
That code resides in Orders.css. The float:left property you see above is responsible for stacking the products like this |<- <- <- <-
If you disable that float property your products will render in a single column in the center of the page.

    Hello,
    I m working on SRM-MDM scenario.
    I m sending CatalogUpdateNotification_Out using BBP_CCM_TRANSFER transaction from SRM
    But in the xml file which i receive in XI, Catalog Content data is missing.
    I dont know anything in SRM.
    Plz help.

    But in that file CatalogTypeCode is 04
    Now i want some files with CatalogTypeCode is 03.
    How can i do this??

  • Catalog content missing after upgrade to 11.1.1.6.6

    We recently applied the patches to upgrade OBIEE from 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.6.6. But after the upgrade, all of the catalog contents went missing. I can still see My Folders and Shared Folders, but nothing under them. I still have all of the subject area and can still build custom analysis, but all of the pre-built contents are gone. We are using BI Applications 7.9.6.3.
    Has anyone else had the same issue?

    Hi,
    Yesterday we have encountered the same problem. We have migrated our Development environment from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.6.5 and the folders do not show any of the existing reports and dashboards. When we click on the My folder or Shared Folder, we encountered a BI spinning a wheel and nothing loaded. We later found out that during our test upgrade of our staging environment, one of the report failed and the work around was to add the following to the NQSConfig.INI.
    EVALUATE_SUPPORT_LEVEL = 2;
    Even though this is nothing to do with Catalog not loading, we went ahead with this change and restarted the BI components.
    We refreshed the page by clicking F5 and the catalog now successfully loaded.
    Again, I am not sure whether this was related to above change or just refreshing the page with F5.
    Can you try what we did and see whether you could see the catalog contents.

  • Question on CCM catalog content approval

    Hi,
    Can somebody tell me what kind of update to catalog content needs approval? My understanding was that if there is a price change, definately it will need to be approved. But yesterday my catalog manager uploaded some change to his catalog item price, and when checking the items in my procurement catalog, we can see the price has changed, but the status is still 'approved'.
    Is my understanding wrong? How can I define what kind of update requires approval?

    Hi Elly,
    Firstly - can you check in customizing if the catalog is maintained with the status 'Approved'.
    i.e. SPRO -> Cross App Components -> SAP CCM -> SAP Catalog Authoring Tool -> Specify default value for catalog status.
    Here the catalog will either be set to Approved or To be approved initially.
    After this, you can define approvals on characteristic level, drill into a characteristic component and you can set a percentage or absolute deviation which will based on these rules set items with this characteristic either to be approved or approved.
    Alternatively you can make use of the CCM Approval Badi, You can use this BAdI to change the approval status of your catalog entries (items).
    Normally, the approval status of catalog entries is determined by approval rules, which are stored for a characteristic. You can use this BAdI to get the status information of the catalog entries after the rules have been processed, and to change this status information as appropriate.

  • Viewing Catalog Contents

    Hi All,
    Has anyone any ideas on how we can allow Cart/PO approvers (who are not able to shop) access to view the SRM Internal Catalog content when they do not have access to the shop transaction?
    We have just gone live with SAP version 5.5 and are not using MDM.
    Any suggestions would be welcome, but please don't ask why they want to do this as they just do

    Check up with your SAP BASIS(or) SAP Authorisation Team whether it is possible to control the same through separate ROLES assigned to the user.
    Normally for the person who is creating Shopping cart only will have the access .

    In CCM 2.0 it seems to be that one can only export the structure of the catalog.

    Where can I have a look at this class /CCM/CL_CATALOG_EXPORT and method EXPORT_CATALOG ? What trx are we talking about?
    It is not a report or a function, what is it, executable or not?

  • Need Help Centering Page Content

    Hi, I have added a white box behind my main page content but the content is not centered within the box. It seems to be on the left. There are a number of different style sheets and I need to find out which style is affecting how the content is positioned.
    1. In this link below I’m not sure what is making the content go to the “left”. I need all of the thumbnails to be centered in the white area. That is what I need to find out first. What is the best way to find what is causing the thumbnails to go to the left? Is there an easy way to narrow down what is causing the thumbnails to go to the left?
    If I select “ul.work li” I notice it is set to (float: left). If I change it to (float: right) the thumbnails all move to the right. but if I set it to (float: none) the thumbnails all line up vertically. Not what I want.

    Thanks John, I managed to watch a good tutorial that set me straight.
    So back to the initial question. I am trying to center the content in the body but it seems to be aligned "left". Using Firebug, I think I have found the part that needs changing.

  • Advice on vertically and horizontally centering page content

    can any one offer advice on how to veritcally and

    There is no such thing as auto height.
    Vertical centering is only achievable reliably with two
    approaches -
    1. Using frames. <ptui>
    2. Using tables - the method is described on Gary's site -

  • HELP!: centering site content and resizing page

    hello,
    basically, is there a way to automatically center the content of a site? a lot of times, the content is a little bit off and i've got to think there's an easier way to center things automatically. if not, are there guides so that i can set borders on the left and right side somehow? there's got to be a way!
    also, i want it to were the page of my site is the same, no matter the resolution of a monitor. i've seen a site that does this, to where the page size doesn't seem to end and the content stays centered. for example, the site http://www.afirealestate.com/ is an example to give you a better idea. i've went on a couple of computers with different resolutions, but they looks the same, without background borders. that's what i want!
    any help would be much appreciated!

    Have you used the "inspector" to set the size of your page? Also there are "blue guidelines" for centering the page too .... they are a big help to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question but if you haven't tried these options check out the inspector ... second icon from the left will take you to the "page" options .... that lets you set your page width and then you can drag your comment section to a size to fit within. That's when the blue guidelines pop up for centering. Hope this helps in some way!

  • Unable to view catalog content - fetching children does not complete

    I'm stuck with a HANA system where I'm not able to see the content of the catalog folder in the navigator in hana studio. Neither am I able to see system status, apart from the hover over the system connection where it says "all services running".
    I can explore the security section but nothing else.
    ANy hints or pointers?
    (AWS hosted instance, less than a week old, started and stopped a few times to keep costs down. Logged on with user SYSTEM).
    Changed the password for both the db user SYSTEM and for the hdbadm user.

    This is a known issue and happily there is a workaround.
    Read the post by Wolfgang Auer here http://scn.sap.com/message/14304262#14304262
    He lists a series of SQL statements to execute at the end of his post. Before you execute them, read also Wolfgang's post here: http://scn.sap.com/message/14315505#14315505 where he specifies a point where you have to wait bit before executing the final SQL statement.
    I've experienced the "catalog hanging" error many times, and I used to have to restore from backup like you did.  But it often comes back, so it is worth knowing the workaround.

    How does online update/upload of content by Supplier happens in CCM catalog in SRM? Does it go through the approval by content manager during the upload process?
    Is it supported in SRM MDM catalog as well?

    In the CCM you can set the default status of the catalog items to the To be approved and once you recieve the file from supplier Content manager can upload and the content approver can approve those items.
    In MDM you have multiple options to handle the content either by a)excel upload  or b)defining the ports and respective map and placing the file in the port for auto upload with MDIS.

  • LR Catalog content disappear... then eventually reappear

    I'm on LR 5.7.  This may have started once I upgraded to 5.7, or maybe just before.  I've been on LR for a couple years now and have never had this issue until just recently, just the last few weeks.  What will happen is that LR will crash.  When I re-open LR, the catalogs are there, but the content is completely gone, except the last project I was working on.  The first time it happened, the content reappeared after a few days, then disappeared again after that one appearance.  It reappeared a few days later and stayed with me for 3 or 4 days, then LR crashed and it disappeared again.  I haven't gotten it back up yet.
    Why is this happening, and how can I stop it?   This was happening before I switched to OS X Yosemite (10.10.1) then I was on Mac OS X 10.7.5.
    Any help would be appreciated.  This is killing my workflow.

    Okay.   I have two catalogs going right now.  One that I created once I started having this problem as I needed to continue to work on images/projects, and the one with most of my work on it.

  • Filtering the catalog content

    Hi!
    I am developing a BI Beans HTML application and need to implement a filter to control what content in the catalog can be seen by certain users and/or user groups. The filter itself is not a problem, but to use it with an exisiting ExplorerDetail tag is a problem. I don't understand how I can extend this tag. Or should I write a totally new tag for this? I would really appreciate any help, hints and ideas.

    In the end I figured out that this was (For some reason) due to a 301 URL redirect from / to /en/pages/default.aspx that someone had added into URL rewrite on IIS.  I am still not sure why I was getting the filtering process message, but that's what
    did it.  I figured it out by looking in my IIS access logs where I could see the request to / but it never followed the redirect to /en/pages/default.aspx never being requested.
