Certificate Manager Software compatible with BEA?

Hi,
We want to use 2-way SSL certification, and create client certificates for
our clients.
I tried using Netscape CMS, but the WL documentation says it is
incompatible.
Of course, we want to be an isolated CA to make sure that no client
authenticated by
other CAs has access.
Has anyone used a certificate server compatible with BEA weblogic?
Is there a way to convert the output of Netscape CSM to a compatible format
(PEM or DER) ?
Thanks in advance,
Luis Muniz

Hi all,
I finally managed. Somehow creating the request with openSSL doesn't work.
You have to create the certificate request with the certificate request
servlet.
Now I'm going to try to create some client certificates.

Hi,
I tried openSSL, here are my results:
I created a self-signed demoCA.
I created a certificate signed by this CA.
i have following files:
newkey.pem (512 bits RSA private key)
newcert.pem (certificate)
but when I start WL 61, i still get the error:

configuration
problem with certificate file certifs/newkey.pem, java.io.IOException:

  • Is the 11.1.1.2 software compatible with BEA WebLogic 10.3?

    Hi,
Does anyone know, is Oracle EPM version 11.1.1.2 compatible with BEA WebLogic 10.3? I know the recommended version is 9.2 MP3 for Windows 32 bit.
Do we need to get seperate license for WebLogic or is it included in this EPM software bundle?
Thanks for your answers in advance..!

Not sure about the licensing, its best to ask someone at Oracle, but I believe when you when automatic deploy 11.1.1.2 apps to Oracle10gR3 Application Server, it is actually referring to the Oracle Weblogic 10.3 Application Server, not the old Oracle (OAS) 10G Application Server, so it should work. You can also deploy to Weblogic 9.2 and IBM Webshpere automatically. I believe all other application servers may still be compatible but require a manual deployment.

    Imran

It sounds to me that you are migrating from a PC computer to a Mac.
To the extent that you are using Microsoft Office on your PC, you should just purchase Microsoft Office 2011 for your Mac.  All of your Word, Excel and PowerPoint files should open easily in Office 2011.  Your contact/mail program, Outlook, is now also supported in Office 2011, but I personally have no experience in cross-platform data transfer for Outlook.  Somewith with cross-platform Outlook experience, please jump in!

  • Image Editing software compatible with ColdFusion (not Clarkii)

Does anyone know of a good Image Editing software compatible with ColdFusion (not Clarkii)? This tool should allow one to Crop images, change brightness and hue.

I'm afraid you'll have to be a little more specific.  If you want a client side tool for image manipulation well, that has nothing to do with ColdFusion.  If you want server side image manipulation you'll have to tell us exactly what kind of functionality (over and beyond the existing image manipulation functions) you're looking to do.

  • Jds-help and Solaris Management Console compatible with jdk6u1?

    Hello,
I am running Sol 10 11/06 for sparc on a Sun Blade. I just upgraded to jdk6u1 from jdk5. I installed all required j6 packages, and then installed patches for j6u1. I then used pkgrm to remove all jdk5-related packages (I searched for all packages starting with SUNWj5 and then removed them). Java seems to be working fine.
Now, my Desktop Overview and other java-related help functions do not work. I get this error:
    # jds-help ghelp:jdsoverview
** (jdshelp:826): WARNING **: An exception occured 'Unknown CORBA exception id: 'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0''
A large jre error log is produced that mentions a problem with JVM:
    # An unexpected error has been detected by Java Runtime Environment:
    # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0xfc94dd6c, pid=1338, tid=1
    # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.6.0_01-b06 mixed mode, sharing)
    # Problematic frame:
    # V [libjvm.so+0x14dd6c]
Solaris Management Console does not work either, and gives an error that no suitable java 2 version is installed in /usr/java.
Maybe I removed a j5 package I shouldn't have. Which j5 packages are related to the operation of jds-help? Any ideas as to what is causing my problem with jds-help and smc?
Does anyone know FOR SURE that jdshelp and smc are compatible with jdk6u1?
    Thank you...

I got rid of jdk6 and re-installed 1.5.0.11. Solaris Management Console 2.1 works again, so it appears as if smc and Sun Studio 11 are both INCOMPATIBLE with jdk/jre6.
jds-help still does not work, with a jvm error, so perhaps it is also incompatible with jdk/jre 1.5.0.10+.

  • Photo software compatible with iTunes

I have been trying to add an soundtrack using my iTunes library to a slideshow I created in Picassa. However, Picassa only plays audio from Windows Media Player and I have not been able to transfer songs from iTunes to WMP. Is there photo software that is compatible with iTunes or is there a way to copy iTunes songs over to the WMP library?

I am interestuing in replacing my current contact management system(Act) with something on my Ipad.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I would need to transfer it from my PC.

Does the Contact Managemet system need to be on the PC?  We have software called BlackBook - it's a server-based contact management system on the Mac, and it has a CardDAV server so we can get the contacts on our iPads and iPhones.

  • Is my software compatible with OS X server

    Hi,
I'm a student and i'm interested in upgrading my MacBook Pro OS from Yosemite, to Yosemite Server.
I currently don't have other computers where to install the server so I was planing on doing it on my laptop to start getting used to it as well as to getting to know all its capabilities.
My question is if all my software is going to be compatible with the new OS?
I have some virtual machines running in VMWare, also some Arduino software, adobe software, Games, as well as other developing tools, etc....
Am I going to have any trouble running any app?
    Thank  you!
All this is running in a Mid 2010 15" Macbook Pro
    2.66 GHz Core i7
    6 GB of RAM
    256 GB SSD

If you already have VMware Fusion for Mac you could just create a new Yosemite image in that and then install the Server software in that and thereby avoid any conflicts with your main setup.
However as reassurance I can tell you that really there is no such thing as Yosemite Server operating system. It is just the same standard Yosemite operating system with additional server applications installed. Therefore all applications should continue to work unchanged.
In the now dim and distant past there did use to be server specific versions of Mac OS X but this changed when Lion was released.

  • Is the Aperture software compatible with Lion & iDVD

Is Aperture creating either a movie or slideshow compatible with Lion and then iDVD to burn a DVD using iDVD? As it stands now, with Lion, I cannot burn any DVD using iDVD and iMovie, iPhoto or Aperture.. Does this mean iDVD is broken under Lion and those applications ? If so what new $ software should one buy that is compatible with those Apple Applications to burn those applications to a DVD's ? The iDVD lead in's were really nice..

I'm surprised to hear that iDVD cannot burn a DVD on your system. Have you looked into it at all? Have you tried resetting the PRAM and PMU?
    Thank you, Frank,
that surprised me as well! The error message I got was "Your Macintosh does not have a supported SuperDrive".  It happens only on my MBP 17" 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 since OS 10.7.3; I tried some hardware trouble shooting, hardware test, resetting the PRAM and PMU, but then ignored it, because I had no need to use iDVD and still can run iDVD on my SL MBP or the Lion iMac.
Right now I cannot do anything about it, because I have installed a Developer Beta Version of MacOS on that MBP; so I cannot do any further Lion Tests on that machine at the moment, or discuss system related issues concerning that machine in a public forum

Other that actually running Visio, via Boot Camp or one of the virtualization solutions that allow you to run Windows on your Mac, the only application I know of that can read and write Visio files is OmniGraffle Professional.
