Certificate of Insurance

Hi Gurus,
Any body have idea on certificate of insurance. If so please give me some inputs.
(in process industry)
What is certificate on insurance? I googled out and couldn't find anything.
How it is mapped and what are the steps to map.
Waiting for your valuable inputs.
Thanks and Regards
Hari

I haven't run across that specific term and I've been in the chemical/pharm industry quite awhile.
It sounds more like something for SD, like a carrier bond or something.  As in "is the transportation company insured and bonded?".
Normally when a carrier arrives to make a pickup of chemicals, especialy if it requires Hazmat placarding, the supplier is required to inspect the truck to make sure it is safe and suitable for the product.  In addition they are supposed to ensure that the driver has the required hazmat licensce and training.  i guess you might also ask for prove of insurance?
I have had clients that use the inspection type 10 to go over a check list of items to be checked for regarding the shipment of certain products.  This includes characterisitcs set up to ask the relevant truck inspection questions so known are missed on critical shipments.

  • How to hyphenate page ranges in InDesign CS4 Index

    Hello,
Does anyone know how to automatically hyphenate page ranges in an index in InDesign CS4?  In other words, if I generate an index with a reference on multiple consecutive pages, it looks like this:
    Entry 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Obviously, this is much more cluttered than if it could read:
    Entry 1, 4-10
I'm wondering if anyone knows whether there is an option to cause InDesign to do this automatically.  I'd hate to have to go through and do it by hand.
    Thanks in advance,
    Professor F

Thanks very much, Jong, this is a helpful start.  Unfortunately, it creates a new problem for the one it solved; when I run it, it will insert page numbers after the first letter of the index entry.  So
    Certificate of insurance 389, 390, 391, 392
    becomes:
    C, 389–92
    ertificate of insurance 390, 392
I regret that I don't know anything about scripting.  Is there some way to fix this, either through InDesign settings or by adjusting Peter's script?
    Many thanks!

  • How can I print a document that has a file name followed by "(secured)"

I just received my new certificate of insurance for my vehicle by email and I tried to print it as I go to France on Saturday and need a copy. All that printed out was a blank template. I noticed that the file name is "certificate.pdf(SECURED)"
Is there any way I can print this please.
    Dale

    George~
I'm having the same issue... Security preferecnes are set to allow printing but all I get is a blank page.  I seem to remember some sort of work around on Mac's that involved saving a copy.  FYI I'm using acrobat 9.5.2
You said there are a number of possibilities... can you give a couple options for me to try?
    Thanks

  • Questions for a soon to be owner.

I'm waiting for my HP Sprout to ship but had some questions.
Is the mat used as a mouse for scrolling and cursor without a actual keyboard and mouse?
Does all metro apps work on the mat such as Netflix being played on mat?
Can you have two metro apps playing at the same time on the mat such as maps app and a calculator app?
Is the resolution very clear on the mat?
Is it really buggy like many say it is?

Most of your questions have been answered by others but I'll chime in a bit. I do work for HP but not on the Sprout product family. Maybe someday... My opinions below are my own.
My Sprout arrived on Dec 24th and we opened the box as a family on Dec 25th. Setup was quite easy. My college age non technical daughter did all the work. Overall the process went quite well. She did have to apply all the relevant updates to the Sprout software and services after starting up. Once the unit was fully setup, its been quite solid thus far. I write software for a living so ultimately this was the reason for making the purchase. The capabilities of the mat with respect to user input / controls for me is quite exciting.
One unexpectyed thing the Sprout changed for me was how I process paper documents, id cards, paper receipts etc. In the past several years I had made a switch away from my old flatbed scanner to using a mobile device. Rather than laboring away with the scanner,  I started to use the mobile device to take a photo of the document after which I'd need to edit the photo, upload to dropbox and/or email the photo to myself. Finally I'd need to store the photo in some other part of the system for later use. While the quality was good sometimes brightness and shadows were an issue.  In effect the mobile device's camera had replaced my scanner. While effective the process was still cumbersome.
Its so much more intuitive to scan the document using the Sprout's mat and camera system and then instantly crop. No more having to sync the photo, find the photo of the document in some cloud service, perhaps apply further editing, and then scrub it from some other companies storage.
The capabilities of the Sprout make it so much simpler to complete this work. Copies of the medical cards to send off to the kids off at college, filing off important purchase receipts, capturing award certificates, completing  insurance submissions and health care reimbursement requests all became much simpler on the Sprout. I no longer use the mobile device to capture this content.
Enjoy your new Sprout!!! You'll probably find other creative ways to use the device that you had not initially thought of.

  • Notification of meeting on subject line

An intermittent problem exists when a particular user gets notified of an upcoming meeting. This is what she recently had displayed in the subject line:
    =?ISO-8859-1?B?Q2FsZW5kYXIgcmVtaW5kZXI6IFJldmlldyBjZXJ0aWZpY2F
    0ZXMgb2YgaW5zdXJhbmNlL3dhaXZlcnM=?
    This was notification for:
Calendar reminder: Review certificates of insurance/waivers
This user is using the latest PCPine client. I only have 2 people that get these gobbled messages and both are using PCPine. Most users are using Outlook or Outlook Express, Mulberry, etc. I'm thinking it is the client BUT this only happens when notification for a meeting is received from Oracle Calendar.

Seems like a character set problem in this client. Maybe there were some national cpecial chars in the subject that could not be displayed.

  • How can I display content blocked by an invalid security certificate?

I am using Firefox 30.0 which I installed to replace IE8. I log in to my health insurance site. When I try to go to the Provider Directory Search (PDS), nothing happens. I thought the PDS might be a pop-up so I tried both making the web page a pop-up exception and then also just turning the pop up blocker off completely. Neither helped.
I then tried to access the same PDS page via IE8 and IE8 displayed a “Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate” error page. Also, IE8 displayed a bar with options that allowed me to display blocked content regardless of the status of the security certificate. The PDS page then displayed.
I went back to FF30 and tried again. The PDS page did not display and no error message nor options bar was displayed. Next, I tried finding an option related to this problem. Options/Security had nothing for Security Certificates. Options/Advanced/Security seemed to deal with security certificates my copy of FF30 would provide to web sites and not the web sites certificates provided to me. I tried clicking on the “lock” icon of the page from which I should be transferred to the PDS page. The security certificate information displays but I could not see any option that would help me and this is the security certificate from the previous page anyway and not the PDS page that is being blocked.
If I could just get a Security Certificate error to display, I was hoping I would then be given the option of displaying the blocked content anyway. Without even an FF30 error condition being displayed (as does IE8), I am unable to proceed.
Ideas about what to try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Claude

You can inspect the certificate chain via a site like this:

I found the fix from Oracle Support Knowlededge Base
sslTool serverInfo --url https://HOST:9043 --certFile newcert.cer
PStoreTool located in REGISTRY_HOME/bin/PStoreTool add -config
    WEBLOGIC_HOME/user_projects/domains/[osr_domain_name]/servers/[osr_server_name]/tmp/_WL_user/registry/[unique id]/public/conf/pstore.xml -certFile newcert.cer
I was updating wrong file with the certificate. It had to be pstore.xml. This solved my issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Parshant

  • Trying to set up encrypted mails but I'm confused about certificates and keys

    Hello all,
My first foray into encrypted emails and I'm already confused! To begin with, I'm trying to exchange mails with one other person, who I believe uses Outlook. So far:
He's sent me his certificate (although I thought I would receive his public key) which is a file called smime.p7m. I don't know what to do with this.
I've successfully followed the instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/digitally-signing-and-encrypting-messages. When I start a new mail, I can either go to the Enigmail menu and switch on encryption / digital signing and it seems fine, or I can go to the dropdown on the S/MIME button and it says "You need to set up one or more personal certificates before you can use this security feature." Are these two different ways of doing the same thing (in which case I'll use the one that works!) or not?
As you can see, I'm getting confused between keys and certificates! If some kind person could take a minute to explain what my next steps are, that would be much appreciated. I couldn't find anything on the Thunderbird support pages, though I know I need to send him my public key.
    Thanks in advance.
    Stuart.

    Stuart8, good find, that article.
I found the main disincentive to using the built-in S/MIME capability is that it's not immediately obvious where to get your certificate and keys. Most providers want $$$ for them, which is natural enough if they are actually going to validate you in some way. I did at one time have a Thawte certificate and even enough WOT vouches to be a low-grade WOT Attorney.
Once you have your key, it's a bit of a pfaff to install it into Thunderbird. You'll probably find that S/MIME is the default in business correspondence, since many businesses operate their own mail servers, ftp servers and so on and probably have an arrangement to generate self-issued certificates or to buy them on a commercial basis from a CA.
Enigmail/OpenPGP doesn't require any financial outlay on your part, but is harder to get your keys properly validated since there's not much of a formal WOT nor a reliable central registry. You generate your own keys and it's pretty much all based on mutual trust.
Since the two systems are incompatible, you need to have set up the same as whatever your correspondent is using.
I suspect that you have discovered that it's a two-way process. In order for a correspondent to send you an encrypted message, you must both be using the same system, and he must have your public key to encrypt his message, and you'll need his in order to reply with encryption. So yes, he needs to send you his public key for you to send to him, but what he sends to you needs YOUR public key.
Obviously, signing messages is a useful halfway house. I believe that you sign with your private key, and the recipient will have to download your public key to validate your signature. Whilst a signature doesn't safeguard your privacy, it goes some way to proving that the message came from who it says it came from and that it hasn't been altered in transit. (I really can't understand why banks, lawyers, insurance companies haven't picked up on these encryption and signing schemes. Perhaps they actually prefer all those awful phone calls where you need to struggle to recall supposedly unforgettable names and dates! ;-) )
In practice, I find that if you sign a message to an outfit who don't know what to do with it, their numpty anti-virus system will probably barf on the signature which it thinks is executable code and therefore must be a virus or worm. :-(

  • Project server and exhcnage certificate or EWS url problem

We are having trouble enabling synchronization between our Project 2010 Server and our Exchange 2010 CAS server.
When we initially saw this error below,
“The root of the certificate chain is not a trusted root authority.”, we then downloaded the GoDaddy intermediates certificate that goes with the “mail.sfbcic.com” cert and    imported it as a trusted root authority
on the project server.  However, we are still getting the error you see below.
You can see that we have two certificates that are valid.
Our CAS server has 2 certificates: (Both are valid certificates)
                    1 – Self-Signed      HOSEXCHCAS4
                    2 – Third-party (GoDaddy) certificate      mail.sfbcic.com
    Our Questions:
    1. In PWA, do the computer names of the cas servers need to match the third party certificate (is that what's causing the error)?  Currently, we have the CAS server names listed (cas2, cas3, cas 4).  The Go Daddy certificate
    is for mail.ourdomain.com
2 If the answer is no, do you have any idea what we are missing?
    3. Do we need to get a new third party certificate and not use the self-signed certificate?
    4.  Would one of the CAS servers not being active right now cause this issue?

    We found the problem.
We downloaded the "Go Daddy Class 2 Certification Authority Root Certificate".  Via Sharepoint 2010 Central Administration, we created a new trust relationship using the certificate we downloaded.

  • Insurace Certificate for domestic dispatches under LC condition

    Hi,
I want to know if it possible to create Insurance Certificate based on LC number in SD?
Our requirement is as below ->
    1. in Insurance Certificate we want details like Policy no, Insured amount which is 110% of total billing invoice amount, Excise invoice no. which is linked to Billing invoice no., premium amount which is derived from Insured amount.
    2. One Insurance Certificate can consist of multiple Billing Invoices
    3. System should generate/stored separate Insurance Certificate no. and reference details like Billing invoices, LC no. so we can get report in system
    4. Also we want to print this Insurance Certificate from System
Is any standard way available to achieve above scenario? or do we need to opt Custom (Z) development option?

Is any standard way available to achieve above scenario?
No you have to develop a zee table where you have to have fields like policy number, insured amount, billing document reference, billing value etc., and this should run dynamically in the background so that as and when billing document is generated, the relevant data should get updated in this table.
To view the status of balance insured amount, you also have to develop a zee report.
    thanks

  • Trusted (not) Certificate

I have two digital IDs in the Acrobat system.  One is self-signed, created, somehow, within Acrobat, if I remember correctly.  It is considered a trusted root, or something to that effect.  And, is totally useless for sending and having sent back forms created in the Designer.  The other certificate was purchased from VeriSign, exported (backed up) from Firefox, and added to the Digital IDs in Acrobat.  The issuance chain seems not to go back to some root certificate, and it is not trusted.  So, I cannot use it to send and receive the forms securely.
How do I find the proper information for Acrobat to "trust" the furshluganeh thing?

    Hi,
There are a couple of different concepts in play here.
First, let's discuss trust. When it comes to digital signatures, without trust being assigned to a certificate in the signing chain, nothing happens. As an aside, trust is granted by the document recipient (the person that is verifying the signature), it is not assigned by the document signer. There is no way for the signer of the document to imbue the PDF with trust.
When I talk about the signing chain I mean something that looks like this:
    Root CA Intermediate CA End-entity
Note: I could have put the list in the opposite order; it's like being in outer space, there is no up or down, just moving in some direction.
The recipient of the signed PDF may elect to make any of the three certificates (in this example, there could be more or less than three) in the signing chain the trust anchor (aka the trusted root). Acrobat only does revocation checking on the certificates below the trust anchor (below being relative to the way I typed out the signing chain), but not the trust anchor itself nor any certificates above the trust anchor. If you were to make the end-entity the trust anchor Acrobat wouldn't do any revocation checking as part of the signature validation routine. If you were to make the Intermediate CA the trust anchor, Acrobat would only do revocation checking on the end-entity, and if your were to make the Root CA the trust anchor Acrobat would do revocation checking on both the Intermediate CA and the end-entity. Although the signer cannot assign trust to the signature, it is important that they have trust set correctly so Acrobat will do the revocation checks as part of the signature creation process so the revocation information gets downloaded, and ultimately imbedded into the PDF signature in order to facilitate long term validation.
When you tell Acrobat (and when I say Acrobat I always mean both Acrobat and Reader, but I too lazy to type both words) to trust the Root certificates from the Windows Certificate Store we're talking about the certificates listed on the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" tab on the Windows Certificates dialog. The certificates listed on any of the other tabs (e.g. the Personal tab) are not being trusted for digital signatures in Acrobat.
This brings us to issue #2, secured delivery. In order for secured delivery to work, the recipient must trust the signer that sent them the file. The only way that we can insure that the recipient will trust the signer is to insist that the signer uses a digital ID that chains to the Adobe Root CA. Although I said that the signer can't imbue a signed PDF file with trust, because every copy of Acrobat and Reader comes pre-configured with the Adobe Root CA already install and trusted  for certifying signatures, when using a digital ID issued by one of our partners it insures that the recipient won't need to fuss with the trust settings. Thus, when we added the feature we made it so the only time the Secured Delivery button is enabled is if you have a digital ID that chains to the Adobe Root CA.
One thing about digital signatures, it's a one time creation event, and an many time validation event. I know it's frustrating for you as the signer to deal with this issue, but imagine if you were distributing the form to hundreds of people and they all had to get the trust anchor set before they could securely return their data, the frustration would be growing exponentially.

  • Hod do I install enterprise root certificates by default

I am trying to develop en enterprise depployment of Firefox (and Thunderbird for that matter) and I woudl like to be able to provide configuration of the package. I've found the enterprise working group site and through the references there have figured out how to do most of what I'm after. One issue remains -- our organization uses an in house Certificate Authority to generate server and other certificates used throughout our systems. I need to install our CA's certificate into Firefox's trusted root cert store. I can do this within existing user profiles via the nss tools. But, new users (new profiles, actually) won't get this update by default. How can I insure that user's profiles receive our root certificate by default (just like Verisign's and the other certs included by default) when they begin using Firefox?

  • Certificates expired, new deploy throws exception, then launch again =works

Our certificate to sign our JWS deployed jars is about to expire so we signed them with a new cert and in development when we re-deploy with the new jars the JWS client throws exceptions. But if you launch it again it will work, but ONLY from the web browser the desktop shortcut link will stay broken forever. Now upon being fixed by a 'launch from webpage twice' the desktop shortcut becomes fixed.

1.) are you using version based downloading ? (if so,
you would need to bump the version on all the
resigned jars.)=Yes and I DID NOT bump the version. TODO
2.) do you specify <offline-allowed> ? If it is
specified, new jars will only be downloaded the first
time if the server responds within 1.5 seconds that
    an update is available.=No.
3.) What version of Java Web Start are you using ?
If you are specifying some jars as "lazy", they might
not be updated immeadiately for some older versions.
Also if you are using JDK 6, you can specify <update
check="always"/> to insure update is always checked
for w/o timeing out in 1.5 seconds as may be the
case if the default <update check="timeout"/> is
used.=6.0; <update check="always" policy="always"></update>; we do have some lazy jars TODO I'll try that next.
Thx Andy all good things to try. Here's our production JNLP (currently pre-new-cert): https://www.trustamerica.com/TCAdvisorII/tcAdvisor.jnlp
