CFINVOKE syntax causing error - STUB  OBJECTS??

When I run the code below I get this error :
"Could not generate stub objects for web service invocation.
Name:
http://app.campaignmonitor.com/api/api.asmx?WSDL.
WSDL:
http://app.campaignmonitor.com/api/api.asmx?WSDL.
org.apache.axis.wsdl.toJava.DuplicateFileException: Duplicate file
name:
C:\CFusionMX7\stubs\WS1938286156\com\campaignmonitor\app\api\SubscriberUnsubscribe.java.
Hint: you may have mapped two namespaces with elements of the same
name to the same package name. "
I
have run other simple cfinvoke tags - like to get weather
for a zipcode - without error... what does this error mean & is
the problem on my hosts server, in my code or on the webservice
server?
Thanks!!

Talking like that to someone who's trying to help you is not
going to win
you any friends. And probably very little help.
> I dont understand why I get that error. I can view the
WSDL file just fine,
> but always get this error.
I have sometimes found this to happen when I have executed a
WS once, and
then changed some of its input/output data types. I'm not
entirely sure
what's going on, but deleting any files created in (I think)
WEB-INF\cfc-skeletons seemed to allow it to regenerate the
stub files.
I would do what BSterner suggests... create another very
simple WS (one
that takes a string arg, and returns a boolean, or
something), and try
that: just to test if you can get ANY WSs working.
I have found that CF struggles with queries as datatypes in
WSs, I guess
because it's not a supported datatype for WSs in general,
being specific to
CF. I have not really looked at this since 6.1, though (I'm
not really a
developer any more, so don't get to keep up to date with this
stuff).

    Hi SAP collegues,
    At my site, BPC Excel created this problem too "Object Variable or With Block Variable not set" .
    It turned out that this is symptom of a a dys-functioning BPC COM Plug-in in XL2007 or XL2010!
    This is a consequence that your Excel recently crashed while using BPC. And it relates to an Excel Add-in becoming disabled when the applications crashes.  Please check the following.
    Note before doing the following, close all other open Excel and BPC sessions.
    Within Excel go to File à Options
    Select the Add-Ins option on the left
    Select the <<COM Add-ins >> option in the Manage drop down, and click Go
    Make sure that the Planning and Consolidation option is selected.  If not, mark this box and click OK.
    If you do not see anything listed, return to the Add-in screen and select the Disabled Items option, and see if Planning and Consolidation is listed there.
    Let me know if you have any queries,
    Kind Regards,

  • Intermittent Could not generate stub objects for web service invocation errors

    Hi,
    I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction...We are running Coldfusion 8 and keep getting the stub objects errors intermittently.  The web service will work for a while then it will just stop working for while, then it will start back working again.  There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, and we're not doing anything to the server in the meantime.  I don't even know how to begin to diagnose the problem.  Has anyone ever seen this or have any ideas of some things we can check?
    Thanks!
    Holli

    It's a load-balanced environment and we've turned the bad server off for now.  Also, I was wrong.  We're running CF7. I'm getting my environments mixed up. Sorry about that. You can still get to the service on the good server though. This is the link: http://www.asthmaagents.com/services/init.cfc?WSDL  After I posted this, we were able to get a little more info.  When I went directly to the service using that link, we got this error message off and on when we would refresh the browser:
    AXIS error
    Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong... here are the details:
    Fault - Error attempting to create Java skeleton for CFC web service; nested exception is:
        coldfusion.xml.rpc.CFCInvocationException: [java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError : cfinit2ecfc338058839$funcRECORDSESSION]

    Still, nothing is consistent and it's working fine on the other server.  I'm at a loss.  I really appreciate you taking a look at this! Any info will be helpful.

  • Could not generate stub objects for web service invocation in ColdFusion

    I was able to call the services on the development box - windows server without any problem at all, everything was working fine but the moment i uploaded to a linux box production server I get this error. "Could not generate stub objects for web service invocation in ColdFusion"
    What could be the cause of this problem, i have googled a lot but no solution yet any ideas.

    Let me make it simple:
    1. Server A is our development server.- hosted inhouse with coldfusion installed.
    2. Server B is our production server - a linux server with coldfusion installed hosted on the internet
    3. Server C is a third party server containing the webservice - this is a windows server with .net
    coldfusion is installed on Server A, the code works here and can connect to server C without any problem. It gets the required respone
    but when the code was uploaded to server c it gives the error when we run it.
    now i tried just a simple code which works fine on server A below:
    <cfinvoke webservice="http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?WSDL" method="ConversionRate" returnvariable="ConversionRateResult">
        <cfinvokeargument name="FromCurrency" value="EUR" />
        <cfinvokeargument name="ToCurrency" value="USD" />
    </cfinvoke>
    <cfdump var="#ConversionRateResult#" />
    But when i uploaded it to server C: it returns the error
    Cannot generate stub objects for web service invocation.
    Name: http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?WSDL. WSDL: http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?WSDL. java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/coldfusion8/stubs/WS728929035/NET/webserviceX/www/Currency.java (No such file or directory) It is recommended that you use a web browser to retrieve and examine the requested WSDL document to ensure it is correct. If the requested WSDL document cannot be retrieved or is dynamically generated, it is likely that the target web service has programming errors.
    The error occurred in /home/works/public_html/currency.cfm: line 7

    6 :
    7 :     <cfinvokeargument name="ToCurrency" value="USD" />
    8 :
    9 : </cfinvoke>
    Now if you try the preceeding code on a windows environment  it works fine but the moment you put in the in the linux environment it generates this error
    I feel that the error may actually be :
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/coldfusion8/stubs/WS728929035/NET/webserviceX/www/Currency.java (No such file or directory)
    but i am clueless as to what to do next
    Ok so I tried the wget command on the linux
    this is what i got
    -bash-3.2# wget http://www.webservicesx.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?WDSL

  • Could not generate stub object - The element type "META" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".

    I am getting the following error message when I try invoking
    a webservice.
    Could not generate stub objects for web service invocation.
    Name: ProgrammePrivilege. WSDL:
    https://clientaccweb.reseaudistinction.com/CardHolderInfo.asmx?WSDL.
    org.xml.sax.SAXException: Fatal Error: URI=null Line=11: The
    element type "META" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".
    It is recommended that you use a web browser to retrieve and
    examine the requested WSDL document for correctness. If the
    requested WSDL document can't be retrieved or it is dynamically
    generated, it is likely that the target web service has programming
    errors.
    The problem is, the webservice is working fine, the
    application was working yesterday, the error message just appears
    after a couple of days and I have to refresh the service in the CF
    Administrator. Once I refresh it, everything starts working again.
    Anyone else got this problem? ANY help would be appreciated!
    If you guys need my code anyway, I can attach it but like I
    said, everything works for a couple of days, then, out of the blue,
    it stops working so I doubt that it's my CFINVOKE that's the
    problem...

    Similar kind of problems here - reported back to Adobe a
    couple of months ago, so let's wait and hope for the best. My
    problems have related to registering multiple web services and
    executing them. One problem is that, If I register two identical
    (and quite complex) web services, I can only execute either of
    them. After CF restart, either of them works, but invoking the
    other doesn't work.
    For example; CF_Restart -> Try A first, A works -> B
    doesn't. Also, CF_Restart -> Try B first, B works -> A
    doesn't.

  • Cannot generate stub objects...access denied

    Has anyone come accross this?
    I am attempting to access a coldfusion 9 webservice that I created and am also consuming.  The pair works fine when both requesting page and the webservice are resident on my development server, but generates the following error when in production:
    Error Occurred While Processing Request
    Cannot generate stub objects for web service invocation.

    Called from "java.io.FilePermission" "C: line -1

    Note: the wsdl renders just fine in a browser at the address I'm using so it's not a can't find it or location issue.  I'm no expert in reading wsdl files, though, so it could render some clues if I knew what to look for.
    For context:
    When I go from my development environment to production, the consuming page is on casadiablo.net/indexCDnet.cfm (hosted by Hostek).  The webservice is on a PC in my home that has a dedicated IP address.
    I've searched all over for an "access denied" java error (related to CF web services) discussion and have found nothing.  Any ideas as to how to troubleshoot where in this chain a java.io.FilePermission error might be triggered would be greatly appreciated!!
    Message was edited by: CFsolar
    Case solved. It turns out that this is totally a Hostek issue.  After exhausting all other options (including uninstalling and reinstalling java), it was a setting on the security sandbox that caused the error.  Well at least this will be out there for anyone else working with webservices and Hostek!

    Did anyone ever resolve this issue as I seem to be having the exact same issue???

  • Error "424 Object Required" when opening journal report using HFM 11.1.2.1

    Hi experts,
    I've installed EPM 11.1.2.1 along with Hyperion Financial Management and Financial Reporting on an virtual machine (OS is windows server 2008),
    when I logon to workspace and tried to open an journal report in HFM-Format, appears error message as follows:
    An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator
    Error Number:424
    Error Description: Object required
    Error Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error
    Page On which Error Occurred:../reports/CheckStatus.asp
    I've checked oracle support and found article ID 967025.1 describing almost the same issue of mine,
    but the suggested solution was to add workspace and HFM web server to trusted site. (I'm using IE9)
    I did so as well as other recommended browser settings but still the error remains.
    The article said the solution was applied to Version 9.2.0.0 to 11.1.1.3, so I'm not sure if version 11.1.2.1 has other causes or solutions.
    Could experts provide any ideas?

    I believe you might have already done with the below steps, but please reconfirm:
    1) Ensure, that both the Hyperion Workspace URL AND the HFM webservername i.e(Http://<hfmwebservername>/hfm) is added in the sites button in the Trusted sites option. under Security tab.
    2) Here is a list of Internet Explorer settings which are recommended to be set on the client machine:
    1. Configure browser to check for new version every time user visits a page
    * Open Internet Explorer
    * Go to Tools > Internet options > General
    In 'Browsing history' section select 'Every time I visit the webpage'
    * Click Ok, then Apply.
    2. Disable default pop-up blocking
    * Open Internet Explorer
    * Go to Tools > Internet options > Privacy tab
    Uncheck 'Turn on Pop-up Blocker'
    3. Add workspace URL to trusted sites
    * Open Internet Explorer
    * Go to Tools > Internet options > Security tab
    * Select Trusted sites from Select a zone to view or change security settings.
    * Type your workspace URL in form http://workspaceserver:portnumber in 'Add this website to the zone'
    * Uncheck 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone'
    * Click Add, then Close.
    * Click Ok and Apply.
    4. Minimize security setting for trusted sites
    * Open Internet Explorer
    * Go to Tools > Internet options > Security tab
    * Select Trusted Sites from select a zone to view or change security settings
    * Select custom level
    * From Reset to list select Low
    * Click Ok
    * Click Apply, then Ok
    5. Customize security settings
    * Open Internet Explorer
    * Go to Tools > Internet options > Security Tab > Custom Level
    * In 'Miscellaneous' section enable the option "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints"
    * In 'ActiveX controls and plug-ins' section enable “Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins” and “Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.”
    6. Enable option "Always allow session cookies".
    * Open Internet Explorer
    * Go to Tools > Internet options > Privacy Tab > Advanced > Check the "Override automatic cookie handling" and accept the first and third party cookies and check the "Always allow session cookies" option.
    7. Disable option "Enable Native XMLHTTP".
    * Open Internet Explorer
    * Go to Tools > Internet options > Advanced Tab > Uncheck the option "Enable Native XMLHTTP"
    If still facing the same issue, perform the below action plan:
    1) Give full permission to Filetransferfolder and try generating the reports.
    2) Add the Everyone user and dcom user to BIPubSystemReports.
    DCOM Config-> BIPubSystemReports-> Security tab-> add the users in Launch and Activation Permission, Access permissions and Configuration Permissions.
    Best regards.

    Anyone pls help. It's bit urgent. Thanks.

    I was using iReport v0.5.0 and it uses jasperreports-0.6.7.jar (v0.6.7) of
    JasperReports. I compiled and i deployed my application in BEA weblogic server. I got the error listed below. Only after i saw your
    response explaining that iReport was the issue, i checked the iReport lib directory and found this version of jasperreport jar.
    iReport creates a java source file which is used to a jasper file.
    iReport will link in the v0.6.7 version of jasperReports. When you
    deploy your web application it will recognize this version through the compiled jasper file and give you the InvalidClassException, even
    though you only have one jasperReport jar deployed with your war file.
    The way i fixed this problem was to create my web application with the
    jasperreport jar comes with iReport.
    Thanks for mentioning iReport.
    Christopher

  • Changes in RPCBURZ0 causes errors in other programs

    Hello to All,
    I made changes to RPCBURZ0 in order to extend the TABLE schema function to read a custom Infotype 9001.
    I added the necessary code in RPCBURZ0 and the data definition in RPCFDCZ0.
    The code is working perfectly , but the changes are causing errors in other country specific reports
    specifically in : HINCALC0 , HCNCALC0 , and HKRCALC0 and Transports to Quality generating errors.
    Error is because the custom infotype definition is not seen in these reports.
    Generation of the users of the transported Includes                                                                                |
    Program HCNCALC0, Include RPCBURZ0: Syntax error in line 000021
    The field 'T9001' is unknown, but there is a fieldwith the similar name 'T001P'. .
    Program HINCALC0, Include RPCBURZ0: Syntax error in line 000021
    The field 'T9001' is unknown, but there is a fieldwith the similar name 'T001P'. .
    Program HKRCALC0, Include RPCBURZ0: Syntax error in line 000021
           |   The field 'T9001' is unknown, but there is a fieldwith the similar name 'T001P'. .
    Looking at other H--CALC0 reports i could easily spot an include for RPCFDCZ0.
    include rpcfdcz0.  "customer-specific data declaration (int'l)
    I wonder why this include is not in (HINCALC0 , HCNCALC0 , and HKRCALC0) !!!
    I have two solutions in mind :
    1. Make a custom ZRPCBURZ0 and include it in the main report.
    2. Look for user exist for the three reports and add the data definition statement .
    What is the best way to fix this situation ? and is there any other possible solutions ?
    We are using :
       SAP ECC 6.0
       Payroll International Driver.

    Alex Gorly and Matt Sullivan solved one of my issues above:
    Message: Attribute 'prod' is not declared for element 'prodname'
    I'm still stumpled on the other one:
    Message: Not enough elements to match content model  '(prodname,vrmlist,((brand|component|featnum|platform|prognum|series) )*)'
    As stated above, I've even removed everything from the general rule of <prodinfo> except prodname and I'm still getting the same error. I've searched everywhere for this general rule and <prodinfo> is the only place I can find it.
    What I really want is: (prodname), (vrmlist)?, (brand | component | featnum | platform | prognum | series)*
    so that vrmlist is optional.
    No matter what I do, unless I include a vrmlist, I get the above message. Currently, our CMS can't handle vrmlist but I don't want to remove it altogether because we may be replacing our CMS.
    Help please!

  • Error - Some objects are not available to your user profile...

    Hello,
    It is for BI 4.1 on Windows. We have a connection called CON1 pointing to DB1. It uses UNIV1 All reports were working fine and we were able to refresh it as well.
    Now the CON1 is changed to point to DB2 and we are now getting following error - "Some objects are not available to your user profile. You cannot refresh this Query. See your Business Objects administrator to request rights".
    If I create a new report using CON1 and the it works fine. Only the old reports are still causing issue on refresh. I tried with Admin account as well and same issue.
    The CON1 is still CON1 and universe UNIV1 is still using CON1. Just the content was edited from DB1 to DB2 in CON1. If we create a new report then no issue.
    Can anybody advice if something needs to compiled. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    SS

    Your old reports are still pointing to same connection. Remember the DSN has been pointed to use another Database. The records and entries will be different. In addition as the records or object mapping have changed for these reports. Hence this would be a very normal behaviour.
    Create a new connection named CON2 or something like that to point DB1 as per your requirement. This way your original reports would work.

  • GROUP BY with parameter - cause error -ORA-00979: not a GROUP BY expression

    I generate a query via PreparedStatement. For example:
    SELECT when, value FROM test GROUP BY ?;
    PrepState.toString(1, "when");
    That causing error: ORA-00979: not a GROUP BY expression
    My application using query like:
    SELECT to_char(data,1), SUM(vlue) as sum FROM test GROUP BY to_char(data, 2);
    PrepState.toString(1, "YYYY-MM");
    PrepState.toString(2, "YYYY-MM");

    Ah. Reproduced in the first chunk of PL/SQL below.
    The second chunk is a workaround.
    Basically, SQL is parsed by the syntax engine and optimizer to get an execution plan. Then you can have a sequence of "bind, execute, fetch, fetch, fetch..., bind, execute..."
    Since you can have multiple binds for a single SQL parse, then the fact that the first set of binds all happen to have the same value doesn't mean the next set will.
    The optimizer needs to be 100% sure that the value in the select must always be the same as the value in the group by, so you can't have two separate (and therefore potentially different) bind variable mappings. [Given the right circumstances, the optimizer might do all sorts of tricks, such as using materialized views and function-based indexes.]
    Misleadingly, it actually fails on the 'EXECUTE' step of DBMS_SQL rather than the PARSE.

  • JMS getObject() Error deserializing object for client

    I am using WL6.1 and having a problem deserializing an object for a
              client that doesn't have access to the corresponding implementation
              object in its CLASSPATH (it only deals with the interface). From
              previous posts, I read that upgrading to SP3 would fix this issue, but
              I am still having this problem on both Solaris and Windows using SP3.
              If I modify the client CLASSPATH to include the Server-side JAR file
              that contains the implementation class, I don't have the problem and I
              can successfully perform getObject() and deserialize the object. The
              following is the code for the client:
              public void onMessage(Message msg)
              String msgText;
              if(msg instanceof ObjectMessage)
              try
              ObjectMessage objMsg = (ObjectMessage) msg;
              ActivityCreationEvent msgEvent =
              (ActivityCreationEvent) objMsg.getObject();
              System.out.println("Got a creation event");
              catch(Exception ex)
              System.out.println("Error getting JMS message:" + ex);
              ex.printStackTrace();
              the following is the code for the server:
              objMsg = tSess.createObjectMessage(null);
              ActivityCreationEvent createEvent=new ActivityCreationEventImpl();
              objMsg.setObject(createEvent);
              tPublisher.publish(objMsg);

              The client doesn't need to have access to the implementation class for
              any other aspect of the code, and I would like to keep it that way.
              Does anyone have information as to the cause of the problem and a
              solution?
              Thanks in advance

    Hi James,
              Just having the interface is not sufficient, as the JVM must be able to
              find the implementation class of an object in order to unserialize it - this is not a WebLogic
              thing, it is a java thing. Either package the required class in the .ear that contains
              the MDB or put it in your classpath.

  • ThinkVantage fingerprint error 7210001 (object: clsid-not-found(CID_HomePassport::Set))

    Hi
    I have a Lenovo W520.
    When i want to open the thinkvantage fingerprints.
    There is the followed message: Error 7210001 (object: clsid-not-found(CID_HomePassport:et))
    And i can't do anything, the window is empty.
    How can I fix this?

    I have the same issue and nothing I can do to fix it unless they replace the fingerprint reader (whole plam rest). After wasting so much time, I got a reply
    [quote[
    I went through about 2 fingerprint readers this way. the best I can figure out is there is an odd issue with either bios or the embedded controller when it gets turned off due to low power in certain situations that causes the frimware in the fingerprint reader to be corrupted somehow. This only seems to happen when you have the swipe to power on feature enabled. I would get that reader replaced and then make sure the first thing you do is turn off the swipe to power on feature in the fingerprint software. My 3rd reader has been solid as a rock since I have done that. I hope this helps.
    I would forget about trying to recover the reader BTW. I tried everything and even sent the readers to lenovo and they weren't even able to fix them when they were in this state.
    I have an idea as to what is going on but lenovo was not able to re-produce this problem on their end. either way you should be golden with that feature disabled, once you have a new reader installed.
    http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/T530-Win7-Pro-Fingerprint-reader-doesn-t-wo... should tell you how to disable it.
    after saying all of this I do want to make it clear that I am happy with my T530 over all. It could have used more LEDs for keyboard and ultrabay and battery state in the front and an eSATA port. and a way to route the miniDP port through the intel HD4000 when using integrated graphics mode. and it would be 100% perfect. but despite those things I've been very happy with it and how well it works with Linux. and I've had no problems with lenovo support. I even just got a 4 year extended warranty with acidental damage protection today.

  • Run-time error '91':object variable...

    Dear All Experts,
    When running an addon in VB6, I've got the error message : "run-time error '91' : object variable or with block variable not set". when clicking debug, the system highlighted with yellow line the code ' set oForm = oApplication.Forms.GetFormByTypeAndCount ("169", 1)
    What could be the possible cause of the error ? I have read this thread :
    https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=7420237&messageID=952849
    but I actually did what suggested there. Please give advice. Thanks.
    Rgds,

    I managed to solve this question
