Change Button from Mobile Data Entry Menu

Hi, as we know, we can start the mobile data entry menu via t-code: LM00, my question is, how to change the button sequence, or add addition button, or remove button from the mobile data entry screen...

You do this with configuration. You need to setup a menu, attach the menu to a queue and then the queue to a user profile.
Go to SPRO,
Logisitics Execution
Mobile Data Entry
Define Menu Management
Here create the menu, Give the menu name and for each transaction you want on the screen you assign a different tcode. Say you have 3 transactions tied to this menu, this means that you will have 3 buttons on the initial screen of LM00.
Back out of that, and now go to "RF Queue Management"
Choose Define Queues from the menu, Create your queue .
Now go to "Assigne Processor to Queues" Here create a record for your user and assigne the queue and the main menu. Now when this user logs on and runs LM00, you should see the buttons that you just configured.

Change Queue or User in Mobile Data Entry

Hi expert,
i have problem to change queue in RF login inside mobile data entry. For example i have 3 user here; A, B, and C..when i start the service in http://phoenix.abc.int:50000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/zmde1/?sap-client=120&sap-language=EN it directly use user A as default user. When i click back button to change queue and user it would not allowed me to do so..i only can change the screen size. Most of the time when i click back button it stated that "user A has been logon to client 120"
May i know how to change the queue so the other user can use the same link with different user name?

Thank you for your reply. Thats correct. i can change the queue in LM77. Thank u verymuch. But that only available when i use inside the ERP. What about i want to change the queue in http://phoenix.abc.int:50000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/zmde1 ?
When i dispaly it through internet, i cannot change the queue same like in ERP.. Is there any configuration that i need to do for this? This is because there are a few queue that i create and the only queue that used is for queue A. how to change it in internet services?

Creation Of Custom Transaction For RF enabled devices "mobile data entry"

Hello Everyone,
i need some information, or some material or some example's for creating custom transactions that will invoke the standard good issue transaction of sap from the handled device using the RF , so can anybody give some reference which will help me in creating custom transaction for a RF enabled handled device, which will invoke the standard sap goods issue transaction( mb1a) ,, there are some LM-transaction which do goods issue from the RF enabled handled device, but in my case i want to do goods issue using reservation as my input, so can anybody guide me or send some reference material matching to my problem, i would really appreciate it..

Hi Hussaini,
Here are the steps.
1> Customization needs to be completed in SPRO. Logistics Execution -> Mobile Data entry section. Also compare entries with LM01 for understanding.
2> In the 'Define menu management', you can create dynamic menus. For Menu or transaction type, if you enter "1", a menu appears; if you enter "2", a transaction appears. Custom transactions can be created and assigned here.
Once that is done, when you execute LM01 you will see your custom transactions come up. Make sure that these are created keeping in mind the RF device screen size and limitations.

WM: Confirming TOs in Mobile Data Entry

Hello,
I am having a business requirement where transfer order should be confirmed with alternative unit of measure instead of base unit of measure. This can be done nicely in LT12, but we want to use Mobile Data Entry. In transaction LM06 I can't find possibility to confirm the TO in alternative UoM...
Any ideas if I am missing something in customization of MDE or is this even possible with standard MDE?

The system doesn't have to know, the user knows. Normally we pick full pallets from the storage, then confirming in base unit (kg) is fine. However sometimes there is need to pick only one piece of material and then it would be easier for the user to confirm picking in alternative unit.

I do not want to change this, since most of the time we work in base unit of measure.

I understand that the transaction codes for WMS transactions using mobile data entry unit are different from the conventional way. I wonder how I can know the standard transactions and transaction codes provided by SAP for mobile data entry unit.

In mobile data entry geeting erro user has no profile definition

Hello Gurus ,
I am trying to logon to handheld to the systme .. i am getting this error " user has no profile definition ..m
What could be reason for this error ??

In the configuration Maintain an entry with your user id in the following table
SPRO--> Logistics Execution -->mobile data entry --> RF Queue Management --> Assign Processor to Queues.
If an line item already exists, copy that and change the username, if its blank (which will be in a fresh client) input all the parameters.
If everything is configured properly for ur user id, when you type LM00 it should show you the screen on the RF gun, or else you will get the same error.

Yes. Can use the mobile data entry without WM also.
Based on business you can use the standard and custom RF transactions with help of RF guns also. Eg. using lean WM.
The WM application provides flexibility and support for the bin level management of the inventory.

Two step confirmation with RF device (Mobile Data Entry) - 1st step only

Hello
I want to implement the following scenario:
- WM transfer orders are created, relevant for two step confirmation;
- a user working with RF device confirms the 1st step - picking;
- then the materials are transported physically to another building (the same warehouse number);
- another user working with RF device confirms the 2nd step - putaway.
For confirming the 1st step I tried to use standard transaction LM07. Confirmation of the 1st step is working fine but right after that a screen for confirming the 2nd step is displayed to the user. I would like this transaction to finish just after confirming the 1st step and not to proceed with the 2nd step immediately - because the confirmation of the 2nd step should be done by another user (with some other transaction).
What is more: if you exit the transaction manually after confirming the 1st step the system saves the TO number (in table LRF_WKQU) and in some circumstances triggers the screen for confirming the 2nd step even if you do not run LM07 - this is so called "recovery" function which is a nuisance in my case.
So my question is: is there a way to customize LM07 so that it finished processing automatically right after confirming the 1st step for a two step confirmation TO ? (and without storing data for "recovery" function). Or maybe some other mobile-data-entry transaction should be used for that ?

One more information, which i would like to communicate on this issue.
We have raised OSS message to SAP on this issue. They have replied back that, on screen 1302, we have some custom code which is interfering with the system behavior.
As of now, we have analyzed at our end, and we found that, the enhancement at screen 1302 is restricted for the functionality, and in theory, this enhancement should not be effecting at all the system behavior.
SAP has suggested to test the scenario , without any enhancement on screen 1302.
Still we are in discussion with SAP, and try to find out the resolution.
Can you also check in your system, if you have any enhancement on screen 1302 ? And if yes, does it interfering with the stander SAP codes.

Dear all,
I have successfully configured the mobile data entry in SAP. i tested the transaction LM00 and it is working fine on sap gui on pc. can someone explain to me how i will open this transaction on a Windows ce device i am working on SAP ECC 6.0 i have also the pda barcode device. do i need to install something on the pda device? how?

TO Confirmation through Mobile Data Entry

Dear All,
I have a query regarding TO confirmation through MDE(mobile data entry) screen.
In the development server, in one user the MDE screens of TO confirmation for picking and put away is working properly.We have created a seperate user in the same server.But here when we are trying to open the transactions LM03 and LM05, we get a message saying 'Logical Screen Cannot be Found'.
I want to know whether we need to maintain any data for every new user that we create, and I would also like to know where and how we need to maintain this data.

I think you have to maintain the Profile Defination for the User , this can be done by using Tcode SPRO then go to Logistics Execution - Authorization Management- Define Profiles.
or by using PFCG transaction.

Reduce the screen format in Mobile Data Entry

How can I reduce the screen format for my mobile data entry.
I just have in standard 16X20 and 8X40
Can I create or choice another format? we need a smaller one because we can't read all the data on the scanner

What method of connecting the mobile terminals are you using (SAPConsole, WebConsole or ITSmobile), and which type of terminals (screen size)?
I had a similar problem using ITSmobile, but I found that you can adapt the templates so that the screens fit better. In some cases you also might need to customise the screens as well.

RF device is used to scan the barcode. To use Rf device for various transactions (LM) you will be scanning the barcodes. For this you need to do bar code configuration .
