I'm working with LabView 8.5.1.
I have periodic TTL impulse with constant frequency – signal to start , which I'm used to start data acquisition (PCI-6251)and generation signal (PCI-6221).
When TTL signal a detection, necessary generation some analog signal (PCI-6221) and acquisition other analog signal (PCI-6251). Then wait following TTL signal.
At this moment I write the part of the program which is responsible for data acquisition. Function retriggering (In examples C:\ProgramFiles\National Instruments\LabVIEW8.5\examples\DAQmx\Synchronization\Multi-Function.llb\Multi-Function-CtrRetrigg Pulse Train Generation for AI Sample Clock.vi) is used. This function necessary,because we start data acquisition each time on arrival TTL impulse, andrepeated creation of the virtual channel of data acquisition with the newtrigger spend a lot of time.
The problem consists in the following. Generation of the data from other card should occur on the same impulse TTL as for the data acquisition card and then generation zero value.
How I can realize it? I planned to change the form of an impulse of generation when detected TTL an impulse, without reinitialize process.

For PCI-4451,How to change the frequency of an output signal without any undefined state

I would like to generate a signal using output channels of PCI-4451 and at the same time capture data using the input channels. Is there any method that I can generate a continuous signal without any undefined state when the signal frequency is being changed?

DSA boards such as the PCI-4451 have a number of very desirable properties including high precision and a high sampling rate. The trade-off for the combination of these two properties is that the DSA boards cannot adjust their sampling rate on-the-fly. Instead they have to be stopped and reconfigured. During this reconfiguration time, the value of the board's output becomes flat and level.
If you are looking to adjust the board's output without seeing these flat spots, you have to take a different approach to programming a DSA board. Instead of reconfiguring the board, what you need to do is allow the board to continue to run (at the same output frequency), and then overwrite the output buffer that the board reads to output values. This will
allow you to output new data without the flat spots. Below you will find an example that displays this behavior.
If you determine that this is not an acceptable workaround due to the limitations on output rates, you may want to look at using a Multifunction DAQ board (60xx or 62xx) or an arbitrary waveform generator (54xx) device instead.

Quotation(VA22) - How to change form - sap script or smartforms ?

Hallo,
as defaults, by VA22 I can print the quotation by sapscript.
I have to change form: I have to create a new smartforms instead sap script. in transaction V/30 I can set some parameters to change it.
My question is: Where is the correct parametrs to entry ?
(I entered the name of smartforms and a Z print program but I got an error message )

I guess the terminology's causing some problems. Here's what I think you need to do;
In transaction V/30 select the Output Type then double-click on the folder 'Processing Routines'. The columns are as follows;
Medium - Print, email etc
Program - Name of the print program
FORM Routine - name of the subroutine in the print program that will be called
Form - Name of the SAPscript (if used)
PDF/Smartform Form - Name of the Smartform, or pdf form (if used)
Type - If a Smartform or pdf form is specified, select from this drop-down which type it is.
If you're getting an error when you enter your parameters, it would be useful if you told us what the error was.

i am getting "could not save list changes to the server" while creating a new form in SharePoint Designer.
Actually the list was created with a custom content type. When i try to create a new form from the custom content type, it fails.
However, when i try to create a form using item content type, it creates a form successfully.
Could you please let me know hte workaroud for this.

We are in 11.5.10.2 Ebusiness suite with 10.2.0.4 RDBMS. thinking to take advantage a downtime to convert the darabase character set from WE8ISO8859P1 to UTF8 right now even we ONLY want to install and configure new language in year or two in the future. I have a lot of questions and hope someone can answer them
1) Is that ok to convert the database character set witout doing anything in the apps side? Not even change any setting in apps?
2) I know Oracle is recommned AL32UTF8 for E-business suite.. but for Rel 12 only. Am I have the right information?
3) I found someone post in one of the Forum in here .. that he use CSSCAN to scan the database but realized it only change the metadata not the user data..... No issues to convert without adding new language in EBS.

Getting data off a working External HDD without Initializing / Formatting it?

I had an external Hard Drive that I use for work, but the USB port went bad on the little chip inside the external case. I've removed the HDD from the case and put it my computer. My Computer recognizes the drive, but won't let me open the drive or see what
is on it / doesn't even show up in "My Computer".
Every form I've found says to Initialize the Drive in the Disk Manager, but I can't do that because I need the information off the drive before it can be formatted, other forms say to do different things that don't even show up as options in the menus.
I already have a new external drive to transfer everything to...is there a way to get files to transfer without Initializing the drive in the Disk Manager? Or a way to allow me to get into the drive? (I've also considered getting a Internal HD Dock that
plugs in with a USB, but didn't really have the time to order one / not sure if that would still run into the same issue)

When I setup my new MacBook Pro, something slipped by me and my computer was named First-Lasts-MacBook-Pro (using my real first and last name).
I changed the computer name in Preferences/Sharing to a new name and Preferences/Accounts to just be Mike. I can right click on my account name, choose advanced, and see that everything looks right.
However, If I do a scan of my network with my iPhone using the free version of IP Scanner, it lists my computer as First-Lasts-MacBook-Pro! And it lists the user as First-Last.
So even though another Mac just sees my new computer name, and my home folder is Mike, somewhere in the system the original setup with my full name is still stored. And it's available on a network scan. So my full name might show up at a coffee shop.
Can I fully change the name without doing a complete re-install of Lion and all my apps?

One thought... you said the iPhone displayed your computer's old name? I think that you must have used the iPhone with this computer before you changed the name. So no one else's iPhone should display your full name unless that iPhone had previously connected to your Mac. For example, I did this exact same change, and I use the Keynote Remote app to connect with my MacBook Pro. It would no longer link with my MacBook Pro under the old name, and I found that I had to unlink and then create a new link under the new name. So the answer to your question is, there is nothing you need to do on the Mac, but rather the phone, and no other phone will display your full name.

You will need to log out of iCloud on all your devices and then log back in. On an iOS device go to Settings>iCloud and click 'Delete account' (this will not delete the account from the server). On a Mac go to System Preferences>iCloud and click 'Sign out'.

Continuous output voltage at DAQ board delivers undesired discrete signal

I am attempting to output a continous decaying signal as seen below.
(For the time being, assume that I must leave the sampling rate at Fs: 1000 and #s: 1000.)
In the loop where the signal is generated, I inserted a 'Wait (ms)' block so that the iterations would maintain the correct timing. If not, the speed of the iterations would be too fast. Although, when I measure the output at the BNC connector, the actual output is in discrete steps, which depends on the speed of the iteration. (e.g. for the above signal with freq = 1/4 Hz, the output would remain 1V for two seconds, 0.5V for one second and 0V for one second, then repeat)
Is there any way to fix this?
Before I attempted this method, I had used the DAQ assistant output, which did not require me having to insert the 'Wait (ms)'. But, the problem with this method was that there was a delay between the time the program sent out the signal and when the BNC output connector received the signal.
I assume the second method did not output in discrete steps because of the buffer which is maintained in the assistant. I attempted to have some sort of buffer for the first method, but was unable for lack of experience I assume. If I was able too, it seems that I might introduce a delay once again, which is undesireable.
Any help on this topic would be appreciated. I will attach a copy of the section that is giving me trouble.

FI Report Painter (FGI1) - add new button in output screen

I have a report created by tcode FGI1 (Create Drill-down Report) which bases on form 0SAPBSPL-01 (Fin. Statement: Actual/Actual Comparison). I wanna know if there are any ways to add a new button in output screen after report execution (i.e to print the content into smartforms).

Instead of creating after the output you can add the button to create the form on the main screen itself i.e. program SAPMKCEE screen1125. Either on the application tool bar or on the screen 1125.

SCSM 2012 Change form issue - Scheduled start and end times default to 12:00:00

I have a report that the Change Form in SCSM 2012 is not allowing users to set the scheduled start and end times. The date stays correct, but the time reverts back to 12:00:00, and the user has to save to the initial form, then re-open and
change the times.
I checked in the authoring tool, the time/date field is set to full date and time. (I think these are custom fields)
I am not sure where else to look to adjust any settings as needed.

Hi Joshua,
Is this situation on all consoles or few ones? Check the time format on the user's PC. 24h or 12h could affect the DateTime control's behavior.
