Change inputs from single ended to differential at run time

I have a software package written that reads in analog values using a 6014 DAQ board. I want to allow it so that the user can select (at run time) whether the inputs are single ended or differential. This would be stored in a database and saved.
I am reading in the analog values using a CWAIPoint. I don't see anywhere where you can specify the Input Mode for a CWAIPoint at run time?!
Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
CM

Sorry, just found the answer. First time I've answered my own question.
CWAIPoint1.Channels(X).InputMode =
Where X is the channel string. Intellisense will give you a list of input modes if this is typed in.

  • Can I input the single-ended image signal to PCI-1424?

    One of my customer wants to input the single-ended image signal to our PCI-1424 instead of the differential or TTL ones, is it impossible to do that ?I've check the user's manual and it only mentioned that the input signal can be DIFF or TTL-compatible.

    TTL signals are single-ended, so if the image signal follows TTL specifications, it will work with the 1424.

  • How to change html style titles of a JTabbedPne at run time??

    hi,
    how to change html style titles of a JTabbedPne at run time??
    setTitleAt is not working...

    You can't change the canvas at runtime. But you can put the scrollbar on a stacked canvas and then show or hide that stacked canvas on different canvases.

  • Change the database log on parameters in the run time with CR10 Delphi2007?

    Hi,
    I'm using crystal report 10 and Crystal VCL for Delphi. How can I change the database log on parameters in the run time?

    You have to use the ConnectBuffer. See [this|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes.do] note for details.
    Also, consider searching the notes database:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_ossnotes&query=&adv=true
    The search; VCL database crystal, returns a number of notes that may be of use.

  • Problem with Non Reference Single ended and Differential measurements

    The following was misposted at the Real-Time DAQ category and should appear in this Multifunction DAQ category:
    I am doing a differential measurement and then a non referenced single ended AI measurement using the same PCI 6025E card. Most of the time I get good measurements however a small percentage of the time I get very strange measurements.

    Make sure that you have set up each of your channels for the appropriate mode of measurement. By default, Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) has a property set for your card, either differential, nonreferenced singled ended, or referenced single ended. If all your channels are in one mode, then you can just left those defaults stay. Otherwise, as in your case, you would need to programmatically set each channel for the right mode.
    For instance, in LabVIEW, the AI Configure.vi has an input parameter for "coupling and input config". This is an array of data that includes the measurement mode. Each element of the array corresponds to the element in the channels array, so you can configure each channel appropriately. Make sure that you have this set up in yo
    ur program, and you should get the correct measurements.
    Finally, double-check your physical connections to see that they match the measurement mode you chose. You can find this in the 6023E/6024E/6025E User Manual or the PCI E Series User Manual at the http://www.ni.com/manuals website.

  • How to get PO CHANGE HISTORY from back end tables?

    Hi All,
    I need to get the PO Change history from the back end reason being users want to see not only the change made but who made the changes on those PO's. The PO change history.html doesnot give the information of the user who made changes to the PO. Can any one provide me the query involved in this html page. I can add the updated_by column to that. I built a query already but it is not giving me the field altered on the PO Line.
    I learnt that we can get the information from the archive tables but my question is how to know which field has been changed from the original PO to the revised PO. I am unable to figure out if that revision is for Unit Price change or amount change or Bill to change etc. i.e., as it shows in PO change History html page I need to see which field is altered on a particular PO. Is that possible?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Anil,
    Turning Audit on PO_LINES_ALL helped to track the changes. I have a problem though.
    In the sense - Below is the query I created to track changes on Unit Price of a Po Line.
    SELECT
    poh.segment1 po_num
    ,pol.line_num po_line_num
    ,pola.unit_price price_changed_from
    ,pol.unit_price price_changed_to
    ,fnd1.description created_by
    ,fnd.description last_updated_by
    ,fnd2.description previously_updated_by
    --,decode(pola.audit_transaction_type,'U','UPDATE','I','INSERT') audit_transaction_type
    ,pol.last_update_date
    FROM po.po_lines_all_a pola,po.po_lines_all pol,apps.fnd_user fnd,apps.fnd_user fnd1,po.po_headers_all poh,apps.fnd_user fnd2
    WHERE pola.po_line_id = pol.po_line_id
    AND pola.audit_transaction_type = 'U'
    and poh.po_header_id = pol.po_header_id
    AND fnd.user_name = pola.audit_user_name
    and pola.unit_price is not null
    and fnd1.user_id = pol.created_by
    and fnd2.user_id(+) = pola.LAST_UPDATED_BY
    Now the problem is
    When I update a line twice. intially I changed the unitprice value of line 4 from .72 to 0.8 and later I changed it back to 0.8 to 0.72. Intial Changed to 0.72 shuld be 0.8 but it changed to 0.72 as it is pulling from po_lines_all table. How can you capture that changed to???
    po_num Line Changed from Changed to
    26603     4     0.72000      0.72000
    26603     4     0.80000     0.72000
    Please help.
    Thanks,

  • Based on the input parameter can OBIEE select table at run time

    For e.g if we select monthly from the drop down then the same report must fetch data from monthly report
    and at the same time if a persons selects daily then the same reprot must fetch data from daily table.

    Let's assign a presentation variable to the drop down values i.e. var_Status
    Now in functionality of the column that you want to change it's functionality dynamically depends on your selection... write this formula
    case when '@{var_Status}' = 'Daily' then Table1.Col1 else Table2.col2 end
    Because of this.. we can't have dynamic column heading for this column.
    One more approach is: Same Presentation variable but with Sectional Guided navigation properties.
    see here: http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2008/01/17/oracle-bi-101332-selecting-reports-from-dashboard-prompts-and-guided-navigation-sections/
    You have to develop 2 reports for this..

  • Possible to change type of spry validation text field at run time?

    I am trying to record a date of death on a form, which obviously for live people might not require a value. I have a radio group (Yes/No) that specifies whether the fields associated with the date of death are visible (select for month, day and year).  For the year, I have it set to be an integer with a minimum and maximum value.  The selects have an invalid value of -1 set, with one item labeled "Select month" and "Select day" given the -1 value.
    When the "no" button is clicked, I want to make it so that submitting the form does not cause validation errors for the spry fields associated with the date of death.  I have successfully added onChange events to the select objects that call javascript, along the lines of spryselect1.invalidValue = -2.  I can also make it so that the text field representing the year of death is not forced to be required: sprytextfield1.isRequired = false.
    However, I'm having a hard time getting the "invalid format" validation to be canceled.  I have tried executing sprytextfield1.type = "none", since looking at the source code in SpryValidationTextField.js seems to indicate that the object's type property is important.  However, this doesn't work; I think that's because the type property is used to look up a validation function in an array when the object is constructed, and may not be referenced again after that.
    So, I'm looking for either:
    a property/method to call to effectively change the type OR
    information on whether reconstructing the variable with new options will work.  I am not sure if any event handlers registered during the object's original construction will still be fired even if I make the variable point to a new object.  I see a destroy function in the source code that might do what I want, but my Javascript knowledge isn't too great, so I don't know if that method needs to be called explicity or whether it happens implicitly when an object is garbage collected.
    Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give.

    Dear Ted,
    I want to change DataSource, it means the report will be load and change connection at run time (using CRJ SDK) and i want to change the SCHEMA.Tablename in CommandTable in report.
    I also use the parameter to do it, but it can not be at run time, just correct when designing.
    Could you please help me on this. You can post the code if any.

  • Error -17600 when switching from LabVIEW Development System to LabVIEW Run-Time Engine in Adapter Configuration

    I receive an error message (code -17600) while loading my test sequence after switching from LabVIEW Development System (2009 f3) to LabVIEW Run-TIme Engine using the Adapter Configuration.
    ErrorCode: -17600,
    Failed to load a required step's associated module.
    LabVIEW Run-Time Engine version 9.0.1f3.
    When I switch back to the LV development system, everything is OK, and the sequence loads and runs perfectly.
    My TestStand Engine Version is 2012 f1 (5.0.0.262).
    I'd appreciate any help on this issue.
    Roman

    Hi Roman,
    There are a couple of things you can try:
    1) Determine if the LabVIEW RunTime Engine is corrupted in some way. Create a new simple VI with no sub-VIs, using the same LabVIEW Development system you used for mass-compiling the VIs. Create a TestStand step that calls this VI and ensure it runs correctly. Now switch your LabVIEW adapter to use the RuntimeEngine and choose the "Auto detect using VI version" option.
    Check if the simple VI is loadable and runs without errors in TestStand.
    If the step generates the same error, you should try a re-install of the LabVIEW development system.
    If not, its most likely that there is some VI you are using that is not loadable in the LabVIEW Runtime Engine because:
    1) Some sub-VI is still not saved in the right version or bitness. Open the VI heirarchy of the top-level VI that you are calling from TestStand and examine the paths of all the sub-VIs to check if they were in the folder you masscompiled and re-save any that are outside this directory.
    Also, when you try to close the top level VI, do you get a prompt to save any unsaved files? If so, they could be the sub-VIs that are not saved in the right version. Save all of them.
    Check if you are loading any VIs programatically and if these are compiled and saved in the right version as well.
    2) There is some feature you are using in your LabVIEW code that is not supported in the LabVIEW RunTime Engine. To check this, add your top-level VI to a LabVIEW project and create a new build specification and create a new executable from this VI.
        Right-click "Build Specifications" and choose "New->Application(EXE)".
        In the Application Properties window, select Source Files and choose the top level VI as the start-up VI.
        Save the properties.
        Right-click on the newly created build specification and choose Build.
    Run this executable (it will be run using the LabVIEW RunTime) and check if the VI has a broken arrow indicating that it cannot be loaded and run in the LabVIEW Runtime Engine.
    You might need to examine your code and find the feature which is not supported in the LabVIEW RunTime and find an alternative.
    Another thing i forgot to mention the last time around is if you are using 64-bit LabVIEW with 32-bit TestStand, then executing code using LabVIEW RTE from TestStand will not work since the 64-bit LabVIEW RTE dll cannot be loaded by the 32-bit TestStand process.
    If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider sharing your LabVIEW code so i can take a look.
    Regards,
    TRJ

  • Connectivity from ejb to Resource Adapter at run time

              I am facing a problem regarding the look-up of the Resource Adapter from the Ejb.
              To explain :
              1.I have The <resource-ref> tag in ejb-jar.xml set at follows :
              <resource-ref>
              <description>The Resource Adapter</description>
              <res-ref-name>eis/RitResourceAdapter</res-ref-name>
              <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
              <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
              </resource-ref>
              and the <resource-description> tag in weblogic-ejb-jar.xml as follows:
              <resource-description>
              <res-ref-name>eis/RitResourceAdapter</res-ref-name>
              <jndi-name>eis/RitResourceAdapterConnectorJNDINAME</jndi-name>
              </resource-description>
              2.Even though I have mentioned the res-ref-type as javax.sql.Datasource , in my
              code I have done :
              rcf = (RitConnectionFactory) c.lookup ("java:comp/env/eis/RitResourceAdpapter");
              Where rcf is the my Resource Adapter specific Connection Factory (one which
              I have prepared and not
              the javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory). So this means the connection
              object which I get is casted to
              get my own application specific connection object.
              3.When I run my servlet (which looks up the Ejb and which in turn looks-up the
              Resource Adapter) it works fine to the point that it looks-up the bean successfully
              but fails when it tries to do so for Resource Adapter. The Server exception is
              as follows :
                        javax.ejb.EJBException
                        - with nested exception:
              [javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Unable to resolve comp/env/eis/RitResourceAdpapter/
              Resolved: 'comp/env/eis' Unresolved:'RitResourceAdpapter' ; remaining name '']
              It will be great to hear about any solution from you people.
              For your information :
              I am using Weblogic 6.1, both the ejb jar and the RitResourceAdapter.rar has been
              deployed and the relevant portion of the weblogic-ra. xml is :
              <connection-factory-name>LogicalNameOfRitResourceAdapter</connection-factory-name>
              <jndi-name>eis/RitResourceAdapterConnectorJNDINAME</jndi-name>

    > My question here is that is there any way where I do not put the queue name in the sender adapter at design time and based on the data availability in the queue let the sender adapter know the queue name to be processed at run time.
    Unfortunately for JMS Sender CC it is not possible, but other way around is possible. I.e. you can dynamically choose the receving queue names by using ASMA "JMSReplyTo" in JMS Sender CC.

  • Changing a Programmatic View Object's query at run-time

    Hi,
    I've created a programmatic View Object using the information in '35.9.3 Key Framework Methods to Override for Programmatic View Objects' in the Oracle Middleware Fusion Guide and bound it to a BarChart. This has worked fine using the following:
    String myColumn = "Quant1";
    protected void create() {
    getViewDef().setQuery(null);
    getViewDef().setSelectClause(null);
    setQuery(null);
    String myQuery = "SELECT Service as MyService, " + myColumn + " as MyValue FROM ColumnTestTable WHERE 1 = 1";
    getViewDef().setQuery(myQuery);
    setQuery(myQuery);
    I also have my data updating automatically. I have public properties in my viewObjImpl class which I can set and update the value of myColumn. I then thought it would just be a case of re-calling the create() method and the SQL would be updated and my chart would auto-update using the new column to select it's values, the value of the property updates and the create method is called but the chart doesn't display any different data and stops auto-updating. Does anybody know if this is possible and if so what I may have missed?
    Cheers, Tom

    Hi Timo,
    I moved everything to a different public method and solved the problem by firing the execute() method which I hadn't been doing previously and the chart updates with the correct data.
    However, once I execute the SQL my chart stops auto-updating with changes to the data in the database - do you know how I update the SQL query but keep my chart auto-updating? Perhaps I have to re-register for the registerDatabaseChangeListener for the query collection?
    Thanks in advance, Tom
