Change menu on fly

Is it possible to change form menu when form start up, for instance if form is running on web the menu will not show up, but if form runs on client-server the menu will be attached to form.

I believe it can.
First, you can use Get_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(USER_INTERFACE), if it return "WEB", then the user is using web access, if it return "WIN32" (or something similar, I forget), then the user is using client/server. Then you can use f_util.change_mode, and menu's hide enable, disable, procedures to do what you want. You can find a book named "Oracle Developer Advanced Forms & Reports", Osborne/McGraw-Hill, in its chaper 28, I think is what you want.

Content Servcies: Changing menu names in OCS

Hi All,
Is it possible to change menu names in OCS. For example: once you login to OCS and select a particular file/folder and right click, a menu list(Copy, Submit Workflow etc..) appears.
1. Is it possible to change the name of these items? For instance can Copy be renamed as collect? If it can be done I would appreciate if you could please let me know how to go about it.
I did look into the file menuList.jspx, which lists all the menu items and is action. However when I changed webStrings.COPY to webStrings.COLLECT as shown below, the changes were not reflected:-

If you change the value of the text attribute to "Collect" instead of "{#webStrings.COLLECT}" that will change the label of the menu.
Couple of caveats:
- there will be no translations it will say "Collect" in all languages
- this is not officially supported and any patches will overwrite your changes.

In the MI installation directory, within the lib folder, you would find the ME.jar file. Open this file in a winzip or winrar tool and navigate to location com\sap\ip\me\awtapps\home. In here you will find the file named mobile_engine_en.properties. Extract this file, edit the same in note pad and search for the key word Home. You would find this in two references. One of the reference is the key xmit_STARTPAGE with a value Home. Just change this value from Home to MI Home and then replace the changed file back in the archive in the same location. Then restart the client.

I have a veery simple sire containing four pages. The client has asked that the purchase page be located with another vender on another site.
What I want to do is simple, I wish to change the hyper link of one of the menu options from an internal page to one that is external.
How is this done?

You can Create a manual widget and can assign the external link your self.
For that you would need to change Menu type from "Top level pages" to "manaul". (Please refer to the screenshot below)

you can use replace_menu built in to replace menu, use this in on logon trigger.
e.g.
replace_menu('C:\APP\COM\APMENU\MENU\MAINMENU');

FF updated something so that history takes up whole bottom half of screen; I cannot surf, or even see start menu. I cannot change menu items so that I am asked before something is downloaded and uopdated automatically. These were NOT my settings!

My browser was very slow, so I cleared cookies and cache. When FF (4.0) restarted, it said it had installed colourful tabs (which I ALREADY HAD). I opened FF and typed in mmy first TE on my list ( I surf traffic exchanges). But I cannot do so on FF anymore. Only half my computer screen is from the TE or web page, and the bottom HALF of the screen is for History, etc. I cannot even see or access the Start menu or my open tabs at the bottom of the screen, unless I use Control and Escape.
I got the url from FF 4.0 , uninstalled the old version and reinstalled it. Same thing. I uninstalled it again, straight from my control panel (Windows Vista Home Premium), cleared cookies and cache again, fixed registry problems again, and restarted my computer. STILL same thing!
I tried to adjust settings, but it will not let me change what I need to. I cannot unclick that updates will be downloaded and installed automatically, and check that I want to be asked each time. I do not know if I can even SEE what was updated, to give you an idea if that could have caused this very nasty problem. Nasty, because until it is fixed, I will not be using FF.

After following all the instructions given, I poked around safe websites as suggested. I am not sure why this step was needed, as websites functioned rather normally before I came here but I did it anyways and found that the websites still work the same as they did. I can still do everything I used to be able to do. I see no change in the function of the websites.
However, I still cannot resize, close, or move the browser window. I don't know if Netflix is a safe site or not (too many conflicting opinions on that one from the masses) so I don't know if the issue with the vanishing buttons is still there, but all the issues I had with the browser window itself is still there.
Even in safe mode the browsers three window control buttons on the top right refuse to let me use them and the window itself will refuse to be moved around.

How do I change menu color on different pages?

How do I change the colour of the master menu from one page to the next?
I have used the menu widget and know how it works, including how to change text, fills, states and so on. However, I wish to customize the menu one step further. I would like the top-level menu be one colour on one page, and another colour on another page.
In other words, I create my pages, and choose a menu from the menu widget, and place it on the master page.
The menu widget generates a menu for each page throughout the site.
I would like the menu to be black on one page and another colour, say, red on another page.
I know this can be done, because an Adobe agent explained this to me long ago. However, I cannot find the chat trascript.

This can be done, however, not if the menu is placed in the master page, because then the menu would not even be selectable, let alone customizable in all the non-master pages where that master page is applied. So, to be able to make this arrangement, you'll need to add the menu to all the pages individually, and not to the master page. Then the menu would be customizable in all the pages individually.

Change Menu in Photoshop does not update correctly in Encore CS4

I've read some threads that there seems to be a problem with saving/updating psd menus in encore that have been changed/edited in photoshop. I heard three saves was the magic number.
Well, I've saved over a dozen times, and I can't seem to get the change to come through to encore. to make it even more confusing, some of the changes leak through, but not all of them.
I have this Chapter's menu and I wanted to edit the highlight of a selected chapter - and so I changed it to a red bar with a outer glow in fx in PS.
This is what it looks like in PS.
I go into encore - saved probably a dozen times, (and yes, with small changes like showing/hiding layers to actually save) and waited for over an hour to come through, and when I go to Encore it did ask me if I wanted to overwrite the file from PS - and clicked yes.
Well, I go under the preview in encore to preview the DVD and this is what it looks like:
That shows up blue now but with no Outer glow on it. The weird thing is that one of the chapters (2nd to right one in the bottom) - that one has turned red, but doesn't show the glow either - just shows up like the one that shows blue on top except that it's red.
What am I doing wrong?

I do not do a Save As - I always hit ctrl + S to save it.
If I do it incorrectly, then how else should I be doing it?

I thought of that too and so I built to a DVD folder on my computer and it was the same way there - as far as the color of the highlights go.
What I did was double click on the layer thumbnail to bring up the 'Pick a solid color' box, and then the sliders on the right, I moved them all the way to the top, and then click on the top right hand corner, but not all the way in the corner, just in the general top right hand side. I wasn't so particular that I had each color code exactly the same because it was close enough for me to just have it up there in that side - you can't really tell the difference in the colors at that point anyway - at least not without holding them side by side.
Last night I double checked that everything was saved (Ctrl S) and then I shut everything down, including the computer, and this morning when I fired it up again - opened EN first with the project, right click 'edit menu in PS' and now in PS I see that it still has all those bars red (but don't show that way in the Preview in EN) but all the outer glow fx were disabled....
Now I'm still not quite sure what was meant by this: "Have the highlights you created the same color?
If not, you had to use (=1) (=2) (=3) keys before the layer name to display different colors in Photoshop application."
I understand you to mean the filename "(=1) highlight" numbers would have to be changed, right? Why is that? How come I can't just go into PS and set the color as I want - even if they are all different?
Ok, I just went into PS and went through all the highlights and copy&paste the color # code to make sure they were all exactly the same on each one, then I also went into the glow fx on each one and did a copy&paste there (slightly diff color then the thumbnail one) to make sure they were all the same as well.
Save 3 times - go into EN and no warning message, but a blink which I took meant it updated, and then I went into Preview, and there you have it - they were all red!
BUT there was no glow to them.
I went back into PS and on each one, all the fx were disabled.
Why does it do that?
How can I get fx to carry through into Encore?
Please excuse my ignorance, I'm expecting to learn a lot!

How to change menu bar in Korean to English in InDesigh CC

Hi,
I just installed free trial version of InDesign CC on my Mac.
I don't know what I selected, but the menu bar shows in Korean which I can read it.
However, I prefer to have menu bar in English.
Does anybody know how to change it?
Do I have to reinstall it?
I don't want to try it because I am afraid of losing 30 days of trial change by playing around.

If you have the Firefox user interface (menu bar) in the wrong language or want to change the current language then you can get Firefox in the language of your choice here:

Uninstall the current Firefox version, but make sure that you do not remove your personal data.
Install the new Firefox version of the wanted language.

You may need to (re)set the pref "general.useragent.locale" to the preferred language (e.g. "en-US" or "en-GB") on the about:config page. 
You can open the about:config page via the location bar, like you open a web site.

Basic question on how to change menu text in this FLA file

I am kind of new to Flash and I am just a bit stuck on where
I am suppose to edit the menu text in the flash file I purchased

I can see where to edit the hyperlinks in the action script
for each menu item but I can find the text (e.g. I want to change

Thanks for getting back to me. I've been really having a
problem with this flash header. Being new to some of these programs
doesn't help much. It's been a learning curve for me. I used a
program called Flash Decompiler Trillix to convert the swf to fla.
and converting the symbols as text so that I could edit them. It
turned out that the text that came up was a jumble of letters which
I had to decifer. I was finally able to change the all the text to
what they were supposed to be. After I exported it back into the
website in Dreamweaver the links on the drop down menus didn't
work.
It's as if the layers aren't connected in some way. The main
links work but I can't access the drop down part which also contain
links as well. I hope you can help me with this.

Iphone menu button not working takes several clicks to change menu

I can push on off button, and keep pushing menu button and will finally change, but doesn't just click to change anymore. Just started this today, I just got the phone when verizon came out with it in Feb. so is still new. What can I do?

Just happened or ? I found this in iphone manual :
If something isn’t working right, try restarting iPhone, force quitting an app, or resetting iPhone.
Restart iPhone:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

New update changed menu size and now have to scroll to see all. Reducing size of menu

The new update has changed the menu size of tool bars and any menu screen opened. Now have to scroll down and sideways to look at it. Can not fit to the screen.
How do you change the resolution of the menu boxes and tool bars?
My screen resolution is 1920x1080
The menu/tool bars font size I can read from a mile away.
Everything was fine until the update.
I'm running windows 8.1 pro with all the latest updates installed.
Even when opening Adobe the screen showing open what use to be small and take about 1/4 screen. now it takes the whole screen and only just fit on the screen.
I can not find anywhere to adjust display size of the tool bars and menus.
Does anyone know how to overcome the very large displaying of all tool bars and menus in the latest release?

This shows the size of tool bars to the actual program. They use to fit on the screen.
This shows the preferences box extend to the right under the windows task bar and to close down or select anything under the task bar I have to grab and slide it side ways.
This shows the setup crop box extending off the bottom of the screen and there is no way to scroll down or to grab and move the box up so the controls I cant get to (OK or Cancel or page range etc)

Change menu and dialog fonts in PE7

Is there a way to change the size or face of the PE7 menus and dialogs? I find it hard to read some of the menu choices.

You can't change the fonts.
In preferences you can modify the darkness and lightness of the whole program. Go to Edit > Preferences > User Interface and move the brightness slider. You might find a spot where the text is easier to read.

Changing menu view settings

Hi, I want to buy the apple tv, but I need to know first can I change the view mode like I can in itunes.
This is an important issue for me and definatly will effect my buying decision because I have photo sensitive epilipsy
and icons moving across the screen really effect me. I would like to be able to choose a list mode like in itunes.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately there are no custom menu settings whatsoever on the Apple TV.
I believe some German movies may have English soundtracks but I don't believe it's many.
