Change of members from one dimension to another

We are currently facing the below situation.
There are 10 dimensions in our ASO cube. Ouot of these ten diemensions, two of them are called Department and Products.
After a major business change, Many of the products in the products dimension are going to get converted into Departments.
Our problem is how do we maintain the historical data. That is how do we maintain the old stucture and the data associated with it. Our source system is People soft and a RDBMS.
Our users would be representing the current year data and previous year data in the same report.
Initially myself and my team had gone ahead testing a few proto type with ASO to ASO transparent partioning (We are using 11.1.2).
It would be great , if people out there can share some insights, if they have expereinced such changes in their projects.

Just learn to understand the difference in the box model between browsers and the so-called "Quirks Mode" behaviour of IE. Declaring the document type as (X)HTML Strict instead of Transitional will help a lot. This will let IE render in standards mode instead of quirks mode.

Having said that, this all has nothing to do with JSP nor JSTL. For problems occurred in the HTML/CSS output rather use a HTML/CSS forum. There are ones at webdeveloper.com and dynamicdrive.com.

Key thing in datacopy is to place the dimensions in cross dimension in the same order. Both sides (before and after "TO") should have equal number of dimension members specified.

How to Allocate Costs from One Dimension to Another

I am attempting allocate costs from the department to the Production line within a location.
I have 8 dimensions in my BSO Essbase cube.
The dimensions are as follows.
Accounts
Period
Scenario
Version
Years
Location
Department
Product
What I need to do is as follows.
i.e.
Department 100 = $1,000 UDA = Variable Expense
Department 100 = $2,000 UDA = Fixed Expense
Line 1 = 30% of Dept 100 Costs where UDA = Variable Expense = $300
Line 2 = 25% of Dept 100 Costs where UDA = Variable Expense = $250
Line 3 = 45% of Dept 100 Costs where UDA = Variable Expense = $450
Sum of Lines = $1,000 where UDA = Variable Expense
Line 1 = 10% of Dept 100 Costs where UDA = Fixed Expense = $200
Line 2 = 15% of Dept 100 Costs where UDA = Fixed Expense = $300
Line 3 = 75% of Dept 100 Costs where UDA = Fixed Expense = $1,500
Sum of Lines = $2,000 where UDA = Fixed Expense
And of course my situation is much more complex as the % will change with each scenario, period, versions, department combination.
I have created distribution % accounts within the accounts dimension to distribute between my 3 main production lines. Which is within the alternate dimension of the Location dimension.
I am on Essbase 9.2.0.3, Win 32 bit.
Can someone suggest how to do this?

Another option would be to hard reset the HH. The hard reset will erase all data on the device.

Create your username in PD then sync to that username. If you want the data from the other username, create your new username, export the data from the old username then import into the new username.
The best way to preserve your data is to export the data in each category in Palm Desktop to a separate folder on your PC.
Create a new folder on your PC somewhere that is convenient. Name it something like Palm Desktop Data. Click on the link below and follow the instructions on that page for the export procedure.

Make sure you select all for the range in the export window.
With the data saved in the folder you created, make a copy of that folder and save to a flash drive, cd-rw or external hard drive.

I have 2 Apple IDs: A & B. A is my iTunes ID; while B is my Apple Discussions, Apple hardware/software registration, etc. Both have a database with my name, address, purchase history, registration, etc. Why is it "fraud prevention" to not allow everything under ID "B"? Or do you mean not buying all my music/apps/books/ a second time is "fraud" because Apple would get more money?
If other companies can merge their customer's separate data into one, Apple should be able to do so. I'm sure that those other companies are able to safeguard, say, your data from me trying to add it to my ID, or vice versa, while merging a customer's date into one record.
Meanwhile, there is still the problem of unwanted IDs "C" & "D"; I'm just ignoring them for now.

Hello this is Cesar, my problem it is that I have registrated my credit card from El Salvador but right now I want to buy some product from the USA store, but I can't even though I'm trying to change the region or country from El Salvador to USA and actualizing my billing address with a new Debit card (from USA) with belongs to me, and once I have filled all the required information when I click "done", a small window apear with a message saying that the address billing that has been submited doesn't match with my bank record. So I have incountable times done it without success. Just some minutes back I talked with my bank to verify if was some mistake but everything it is fine. You cannot purchase from the US iTunes Store unless you are physically present in and have a mailing address in the US. You are not allowed to use the US store from El Salvador even though you may have a US-issued gift card or debit card.

If you are going to sell the first iPad - erase it first in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings.
When you acquire the new iPad, you will have the opportunity to sign into your Apple ID and you can simply move forward from there. You do not have to "transfer" the ID to a new device, you just sign in - Settings>Store>Sign in.
