Change of Transaction Description

Hello Seniors,
As we all know, the description(on the title bar) of the Transaction VA01 is " <b>Create Sales Order : Initial Screen</b>"
my requirement is that I need to display the description(on the title bar) of the Transaction VA01 as " <b>Create Billing Document : Initial Screen</b>".
How can I get to change the description of the Transaction as what I stated above.

I had a requirement to change the field description of a field in MM01,MM02, and MM03. I know how to change the description of field in CMOD. In my requirement they need this new description only in the above mention transaction. So please let me know how we can do this?

Hi you can do this by SPRO transaction. Here you can copy the subscreen where you want the description of the field changed. And in the custom subscreen go to the Element list- >Texts I/O templates , Here you can change the description. After all this the customized subscreen is assigned in the proper sequence. The step by step process is below:
Step 1:
Click on the button u2018SAP Reference IMGu2019. Then follow the path Logistics-General -> Material Master -> Configuring the Material Master. When this particular node is expanded, a drop down list of 7 different executable options appears.
Step 2: Execute the option u2018Create Program for Customized Subscreensu2019
Step 3: Copy the screens required to the custom function group.
Step 4: In transaction SPRO, execute the option u2018Define Structure of Data Screens for each Screen sequenceu2019.
Step 5: Now in transaction SPRO execute the option Assign Screen sequences to User/ Material Type/ Transaction/ Industry Sector.

How to migrate pod change using Transaction eedm10

Hi,
please try another way: use transaction ES31 to change the installation the PoD was assigned to and then have a look at in via EEDM10. In term of migration in IS-U we usually talk about trnsaction EMIGALL - so depending on what you mean with "migrating" the recommendations will be more helpful. In EEDM10 you can either mark the PoD as technical PoD as well as an deregulation PoD, you can reassign a grid,change the external description, ID of the PoD and so on. You also can assign additional registers and/or installations and so on. So - if you are a bit more specific we will be able to help you more knowledgeable.

Change in Material Description in Sales Order

HI,
We have a scenario where there's a change in our existing material Description and there's an existing SO of the said material. When we changed the description in MM03, it doesn't reflected/changed in VA03. The material description there, remains the same. Is there any other option where we can apply this changes, without even redoing the SO in VA01?
For Example : Material 1000 with Description - Juana House Model 1 ; While the correct description should be Juana Basic House Model.
Please suggest if there's any other options available. Thanks

In VA02 you can change the material description (As per SAP Standard). If you are unable to modify material description, please check with ABAP consultant in below prog/user exit:

When i try to change the column description of the table control or adjust any other element which is already available on the screen and not in table control. It gives me an error

In PM order, can we change the material description for item category N?

Hi,
In Plant Maintenance work order, is there a way to change the material description while purchasing material (item category N) using a material master number? In config. the material description field is open for input. However on the work order components screen it becomes grey as soon as one enters a material master number.
Background: We want to maintain generic material master records in the system and use them for purchasing materials (item category N) on work orders so that the purchasing data defaults from the material master. But we need to be able to change the description per the specific requirement.
Similar functionality works on sales orders. Are we missing anything?

One solution would be to have some generic materials created and used them during work order processing. These generic materials needs to be extended to all the required plants.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

you can change the filed description using SE80.
goto SE80, clcik on Edit Object , Slect the tab page dictionary, Enter the
data Type as STCD1 & continue, Now click on change , the sytem will request Access key priovide the same & continue . Now change the Filed Description as per your requiremnt.

If u mean transport request; u can change it if u have not released the request.
go to se10.Double click on ur request. u will get the change icon in that page-> click on that. goto properties tab- there u will be able to change the short description.
