Change portlet border with .css

I want to change color and size of the portlet border with the help of .css.
I have downloaded and use the dreamweaver Extension. .Css are link to portal site with UI template.
I wondering which class that change the style for the border. So far have tried to use .PortletBodyColor and .PortletHeaderColor. Are there any one that have managed to change border style with .css?
Regards,
Jorunn

I don't think you can just the outer border. If you look at the source code you see that the <td> tags also have the .portletbodycolor and header color classes, so while you technically can change the border, it will change the borders for all the cells and not just the outside of the table.

  • ITSMobile - Problems when changing screen layout with CSS

    Good afternoon,
    I have a service ZLM00(SICF) with some public screens in the stile MOBILE4(Service of  internet-se80), and I am trying change your layouts with CSS.
    Steps taken:
        1 u2013 I activated the repository MIMES (/default_host/sap/public/bc/its/mimes);
        2 u2013 I copied the mobile.css from internet service standard ITSMOBILE for my service ZLM00(se80) with the name ZRF01.CSS;
        3 u2013 I added the parameter ~ITSMOBILECSSINCLUDE = ZRF01 in my service ZLM00(SICF);
        4 u2013 I published all screens and file ZRF1.CSS;
    The problem:
          When I test the service in the browser, I see in the source code that the file CSS was added u201C<link rel="stylesheet" href="/sap/public/bc/its/mimes/zlm00/99/ZRF01.css" type="text/css" />u201D
          And the screens received some changes, however when I added a new line in file CSS for exemple
    /* --- Basic Row -
          .MobileRow {
            white-space:pre;
            vertical-align:middle;
            background-color:#F3F3F3;  "new lineu201D
            Is not ok. Just the command standard works.
            I am doing something wrong ? Is missing some step ?
            My configurations:
             - Version SAP ECC 6.0/SAP_APPL 604 SP8;
             - Device mobile Symbol/motorola MC3190;
             - Operating system Windows CE 6.0 with Internet Explorer 6.0;

    No.
    If you want to see how the screen will look; look in the iPhone/ iOS 7 section of this site.

  • Change the design with css

    As in many other threads told, I try to change the color of my E-Recruiting with css.
    I copied the MIME folder with BSP_UPDATE_MIMEREPOS to my harddisk. After that I imported those files on a personal folder e.g. myroot.
    After that I changed the BSPTHEMEROOT to myroot and changed some css-files.
    But there is the problem that new css-files are not used when I start the website. Have I forgotten anything to do or why are they not used??
    Edited by: Holger Lindacher on Oct 30, 2008 12:39 PM

    I wrote my problem to SAP and they told me, it's necessary where I import my mimes. It must be directly under SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/themes/Z_THEME.
    Only in this directory the files will be linked with the nicf-node

  • Color fill only changes the border with formula cells

    Color fill only changes the color of the border with formula cells.  It works fine and changes the color of the entire cell with normal, non-formula cells. Anyone found a way around this problem?

    Well, that's better.  Thanks for the camera icon tip.  That did the trick.  However, that does lead to another minor gripe.  I cut and pasted these parts of the screen shot into the reply window.  They appeared and everything seemed in order.  But obviously they didn't send.  It looked like it was going to work nice and easy - Apple like.  But it ended up requiring more steps and clicks - Microsoft like...
    Anyway, as you can see, the cell with the RED expired has not filled with black like, rather the black appears on the border.

  • Image border with CSS

    This is probably something simple I'm missing. I want to
    create a thin border using CSS that will go around images. But it
    needs to be able to resize as needed to the particular image.
    I can obviously create a border of a particular size, but is
    there a way to create one that will resize around the image? "Auto"
    for the size just gives me a box that stretches across the page.
    -Jesse

    img { border:1px solid black; }
    This will create a thin, black border around all images
    regardless of their
    dimensions.

  • How to set image border with CSS Designer?

    I must be missing something obvious...
    I need to set an image border. I select the image. But I don't see any relevant inline style option in CSS Designer.
    It only lets me change <inline style> : td but there's no option for the image.
    What am I missing?
    Thanks,

    Thanks John,
    Yes, obviously I select the image.
    However, it doesn't change anything.
    I don't get the "img" selector whatever choice I select it the Sources pane.

  • Changing paragraph spacing with CSS

    Hello there
    How can I change (if possible) the spacing a web browser
    renders between two paragraphs. The only way i know how is to use
    the line-height property, but this also affects the line spacing

    Use margin-top and/or margin-bottom on the p tag.
    Padding can also be used but margin is better.

  • Chart color change with CSS in DS 1.3

    Hi together,
    Did somebody now a solution with CSS in the design studio 1.3, to change the color from the chart-bar or the chart-pie (like PrintScreen)? Or is this planned in the DS Version 1.4?
    We found only a solution to change this setting for the chart. Not the color of the bar or pie.
    We would like to set this in the CSS because it is a Style guide rule of the company.
    Best Regards
    Gabriel

    Do you mean use CSS for your chart?  See response from David Gyurasz Styling a chart in Design Studio
    If not I recommend searching SCN for your answer - I searched "CSS color design studio chart" and 234 searches were found.

  • In DW6 how to I change the border radius for a button in CSS panel

    We have used Microsoft's Expression 4 and it was simple to change the border radius when doing say a button. We have now moved to DW6 but in the CSS Rules Definition area you can do a border but not alter the radius to give rounded edges. When we want to do this we have to go back to Expression 4 as DW6 doesn't seem to have this facility. I can't beleive that it doesn't so I must have just missed it. If anyone can point me in the right direct I would appreciate it.

    I rarely use the CSS editor panels in DW.  I find it's faster to switch to Code View and edit CSS properties manually.

  • Can't remove portlet border.

    Hi Gurus,
    i'm facing some unexpected behavior with a portlet:
    The portlet appears in the page with a gray border.
    BUT the "show portlet border" checkbox isn't checked in area edit page.
    So, what is happening?
    And how can i remove the border.
    I've already try some stupid things as:
    1)check "show portlet border"
    2)apply changes
    3)Ok
    4)edit area
    5)uncheck "show portlet border"
    6)apply changes
    7)Ok
    but nothing
    Thanks,
    Felippe.

    The portlet calls a jsp page.
    It has been created like all the other, via XML.
    It displays the jsp content correctly but the border around the portlet.
    When i toggle the checkbox "Show portlet border" it makes no difference at all but the "Show portlet header" does.
    Any ideas??
    I'm trying to seek some erros in jsp code.
    thanks,
    Felippe.

  • Highlighting Current Page with CSS

    This morning I post my first Dreamweaver/CSS site. It is for
    a DVD I produced about infant massage. www.BabyBabyOhBaby.com.
    What I'd like to do is highlight the current page in the
    navigation bar using either a border or color change. I've found
    some sites like
    http://www.hicksdesign.co.uk/journal/highlighting-current-page-with-css
    but, sorry to say, I'm a beginner at both Dreamweaver & CSS and
    I can't quite follow the code.
    Is there some way within Dreamweaver to accomplish the
    highlighting in design view without writing the code? Or perhaps
    someone has some very basic elementary CSS guidance?
    Thanks for your time,
    David

  • Help with CSS Page Layout

    I guess I am "old school" in that I have always used tables
    to lay out my web pages. I decided I must learn to do it with CSS,
    but I'm having a terrible time (and it shouldn't be so hard!). I
    understand how to define the styles, add divs, etc. Here's what I'm
    having trouble with:
    How do I specify the normal page width to be 800 pixels,
    however I want it to be relative to the browser (i.e., 100% of 800
    pixels).
    I understand the "float" tag, but if I have a right-hand
    sidebar, I can't seem to get the text to the left (in a div called
    "maincontent") to stop at the sidebar and wrap to the next line. I
    tried specifying "Hidden" as my textbook suggests, but that has no
    effect.
    I can easily do all of this with tables, so do I really need
    to abandon them?
    Thanks!

    Hi Jane,
    I'll try to answer all your questions, then a tip or two to
    stop the main
    content from dropping when the browser window size is
    reduced.
    - " I didn't realize that
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-right: auto;
    is not the same as margin: 0px auto;
    That's right.
    margin: 0px auto; is actaully saying make the top margin 0,
    the right margin
    auto, the bottom margin 0 and the left margin auto.
    It's just CSS shorthand.
    For example, you might have:
    margin-top: 10px;
    margin-right: 20px;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
    margin-left:15px;
    You could just use margin: {10px 20px 5px 15px;}
    Think of a clock to remember the directions.
    12:00 top, 3:00 right, 6:00 bottom, 9:00 left.
    If any of the values are the same, you can shorten it more.
    For example, if top is 10, right is 20, bottom is 5 and left
    is 20, it's
    margin: {10px 20px 5px;}
    If the 4th location (left) is missing a value, it makes it
    the same as what
    you have for right.
    If top and bottom are 10px, and left and right are 20px,
    it's:
    margin {10px 20px;}
    If the last two positions ( bottom and left vlaues ) are
    missing, then it
    will use the top value for the bottom, and the right value
    for the left.
    What auto right and left is doing is subtracting your content
    width (the
    container width) from the browser window width, and then
    dividing the
    remainder in 2 and applying each value to each side of the
    container.
    -"I found that they all took on the font of the maincontent
    and I had to fix
    them
    individually. "
    The only text that should be Time is the text in your main
    content, where
    you have that font defined. Everything else should be Arial
    if you define
    the body as such. I'll post a link at the end of this.
    - "I put my bold sentence (Friendship, Fun, etc.) in h1, but
    I had to change
    the
    color & size, so that added another style element. "
    You don't need to give the h1 a class. You can actually just
    style the h1
    tag:
    h1 {
    margin: 10px 10px 2px;
    font-size: larger;
    color: #941238;
    You can only use h1 once on a page.
    You can use h2, h3, h4, etc, as many times as you would like,
    and you can
    style these just like the h1 style above.
    - "I don't quite understand the .rightsidebar p { and
    container p{
    I am assigning the spacing to the <p> tag? What exactly
    is that doing?"
    That is saying, give all the <p> tags inside the
    rightsidebar container the
    follwing style.
    So, in this example:
    .rightsidebar p {
    font-size: 18px;
    margin: 2px 10px;
    it's saying give all the <p> tags in this container a
    size of 18 and margin
    of 2px top and bottom, and 10px left and right.
    It's a lot easier than giving a class to every <p> tag
    - "I also don't quite understand the .clear {
    Why not just choose clear:both on the next section <div
    class="footer">"
    You could, if the footer was in the container. It just needs
    to be the final
    element before the close of a container that contains the
    float(s).
    -Do you use the <div class="container"> technique all
    the time?
    Yes, most of the time. I usually put everything in it, and
    use the
    margin:0px auto; to center it.
    That way, I don't have to try to get a number of different
    elements to align
    with the right and left sides by applying values to all of
    them, which can
    get tricky quickly.
    -"If you'll indulge me one more question, I wonder if it's
    possible to put a
    graphic (say, of a putting green) underneath my
    rightsidebar? I would want
    the sidebar to lay on top of the putting green for an
    interesting artistic
    touch.
    Yes, you can give that div a background image. You just need
    to make the div
    the same size as the image so you see it all (or vice-versa).
    Now, to make that maincontent not drop like it does you can
    remove the width
    in the CSS. Now it will expand over to the left edge of the
    rightsidebar.
    You can control how close it gets by giving the right sidebar
    a bigger left
    margin. The point is, with no width assigned, the maincontent
    will shrink
    down to the longest word in it before it drops.
    Here's what it looks like:
    http://tnsgraphics.com/test2.htm
    Let me know if you have any questions.
    Take care,
    Tim

  • Portlet border

    Can anybody guide me on how to remove the border of a portlet? I do not wnat to show the portlet border in the Guest home page

    The portlet border is controlled through the CSS class .platportletBorder
    View any of the Cascading StyleSheets in\ptimages\imageserver\plumtree\common\public\cssand you should find in the file the following.platportletBorder {border: solid 1px #<somecolor>;}Change this to solid 0px and the border will go away.
    To save you from having to edit all ~180 CSS's.....You will have to investigate how to use CSSMill but it will involve1) A better way to fix this item is to use CSS Mill -- change the portal50.template. -or-2) using the definition of @border.none.thin@ found in the prop-text/<language> files --change the values to border.none.thin=0px3) Regenerate all the stylesheets

  • Unable to bind portlet parameter with page parameter in webcenter portal

    Hi All,
    I am trying to bind portlet parameter with the page parameter so that I can ahieve some business requirements.
    Here is what I did,
    In my Portlet producer application:
    1) Created standards based portlet (jsr 286) with view.jspx and edit.jspx with rest of the things being default.
    2) In my portlet.xml created two parameters and assigned these parameters to the portlet created above.
    3) In the view.jspx added couple of output label adf components in the page.
    4) deployed this to integrated weblogic server.
    In my WC portal application:
    Created a new page and added the portlet to this page( WSRP connection already exists).
    deployed portal application on integrated server.
    In the edit mode of the page I added one page parameter(Param1) and some default (constant) value added.
    What I want is this:
    when Param1 value is One display first output label and
    when Param1 value is Two display second output label.
    I am using jdev 11.1.1.5.0 with integrated weblogic server.

    There is no need to use page parameters for this.
    You also have two types of parameters depending on what you want...
    1) Preferences: these parameters can be used on a user based level. This means that users can personalize the portlets. When a user change the value of a preference, it is only applied for that specific user
    2) Public parameters: these parameters are used to customize the portlet. The value you set in these parameter apply for all users.
    I have made a simple example to show these two differences: http://www.yonaweb.be/PortletTest.zip
    The portlet has 4 inputText on it. The first two can be set by specifying One or Two into the preference.
    The other 2 inputText uses the value of the public parameter.
    You should only deploy the portlet and consume it in a webcenter application. In the webcenter application, you don't need to do anything special. All is done in the portlet.
    I am guessing you don't have written the code that will get the value of the parameter:
    in case of a preference you will get the value by following code:
       PortletRequest request = (PortletRequest)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequest();
       PortletPreferences preferences = request.getPreferences();
       return preferences.getValue("outputparam", "One");In case of a public parameter (for customization instead of personalization) you use following code to retreive the value of a public parameter:
    PortletRequest req = (PortletRequest)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequest();
      String param = (String)req.getParameter("PublicParam");
      if(param == null)
          return "Three";
      return param;This code can also be found in the sample portlet application.
