Change which host VM is replication to

Question

We are currently replicating from one cluster to another using the Hyper-V replica broker. We are replicating from a 6 node 2012 cluster to a 3 node 2012 R2 cluster
We are finding that when we put a host into maintenance mode using SCVMM about half of the replicating VM's seem to go into a critical state as they're still trying to replicate the offline host. The other half seem to be updated with the new host target
and replicate happily.
Is there a way to change the target host on the VM to get it to pick up the replication again. Currently I'm having to remove the replication and start it again which kind of defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.
