Changing a colors value?

Using the color picker, how do you change the value of a color? Is it simply going left or right?
Thanks

Okay I think I fixed it.
Here is what I did:
1. Press Win+R key combo
2. Type and run: services.msc
3. Find “Sensor Monitoring Service”
4. Right click and select properties
5. Select “disable” under “startup type”
6. Finally reboot your computer.

  • Placing images in Illustrator changes their color values-Why?

    I've been placing photoshop tiff files into Illustrator, and doing this seems to change the color values, when I sample them with the eyedropper tool. The images I made use a custom mix of CMYK rich black, with the K set to 100. In Illustrator, they appear to revert to the default 'Photoshop black", approx C75 M68 Y67 K90. This is not my intent of C70 M60 Y58 K100. The Illustrator document is CMYK mode, and I don't know why this is happening. The non-image items (vectors) in my illustrator file DO retain the color values I intended, however.
    Is this some kind of setting I can change in Illustrator? Will this discrepancy show up when this file goes to print? Please help! Thanks.

    WHen the image is not embedded, Illustrator samples the representation values. Those are handled by color management.

  • Illustrator cs5 changes Kuler color values when importing, Help!

    I am using Illustrator cs5. I access the Kuler Color theme feature for color themes. I will select a them from the Kuler feature
    and then choose to add that theme to my swatch panel. I then check the individual colors in the color panel. Here is the
    problem: when illustrator brings in the Kuler colors to the Illustrator color panel it will change the values of that color which
    changes the actual color. For instance a bright green becomes a muted turquoise. This conclusion is not by my sight,
    because I have opened the specific color theme at the Kuler Web sight and obtained the CMYK values for those colors,
    and then gone back to the Illustrator color panel and compared then values there. The values are changed which creates
    a different color --- obviously. So how can I use the Kuler feature when illustrator changes the values on me which then
    changes the color? Help

    I dont know what my color settings are at this point.
    I download the Kuler color theme straight from the Kuler panel open on my desktop. I open
    the drop down menu options and choose: add this theme to your color swatches. The
    theme is moved over to the swatch panel while I am using Illustrator.
    I don't know what you mean by your last question.

  • Please, can I with help of Javascript change spot color values? for example by my color VARNISH with c:0,m:10,y:15,k:0 to make change to c:0,m:0,y:0,k:0? thank you

    Please, can I with help of Javascript change specific spot color values? for example, I have color named VARNISH with values c:0,m:10,y:15,k:0 and it would help me to make change to c:0,m:0,y:0,k:0 as a part of an action. Is it possible? Thank you

    Hi Kon Verter,
    you can change the values of your spot swatch, but you have to check many things before.
    e.g. you can do something like this:
    var Vcolor = app.activeDocument.swatches.getByName("Varnish");
    if (Vcolor.color.spot.colorType == ColorModel.SPOT && Vcolor.color.spot.spotKind == SpotColorKind.SPOTCMYK) {
        alert("Black value before: "+Vcolor.color.spot.color.black);
        Vcolor.color.spot.color.black= 0; // and so on
        alert("Black value after: "+Vcolor.color.spot.color.black);
    This will change the black value of the cmyk spot color with name Varnish to 0

  • How do you change the color of the title text?

    The main title text for the tap your currently on shows up centered one line above the tab row. The default is black text, with a gray drop shadow, but that doesn't work with dark background themes/personas. How do I go about changing that text color so that its visible on a dark background. I've tried changing font stylings in general for the browser, and I've tried changing the color values in the about:config for the persona, but none of that works. How do you change the color of the title text?

    That colors option under content doesn't change the color of the title text, but thanks anyways

  • How can i change the color of a field in a table depence of a value

    Hi forum
          Is this possible to change the color of a row in a specific field of a table depends of the value of this field,,, for example if the value is equal or greather than 1.
    Thnks
    Josué Cruz

    Josue,
    Yes this is possible if you use the fillColor method. It requires R,G,B value of color.
    //Sample code which highlights cell2 in my table which has two rows.
    frm1.Table1.Row2.Cell2.fillColor = "120,120,120";
    // If you want highlight complete row.
    frm1.Table1.Row2.fillColor = "120,120,120";
    So now just apply an if loop which reads the input value as greater than 1 and use the code shown above.

  • I have tried everything! How to change the color of text based on value Acrobat 9

    How can I change the color of the text to red if the value is "Unacceptable" and leave it green for all other rating values? Where can I put it for it to work? Also, Unacceptable is set to an export value of 0.

  • How to change the disabled value color of messageTextInput

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to change the value color of messageTextInput. And I had apply custom look and feel. For normal messageTextInput, I can change its color, but for disabled messageTextInput, the value is always gray out. I can't change its color.
    Could anyone tell me how to change it?
    Thanks,
    Eileen

    Eileen,
    This is the code u need to use in process request:
    OAMessageTextInputBean x = (OAMessageTextInputBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("<item id of message text input which have to disable>");
    //If item id of the next message text input is XXX, on which
    //u wanna set focus when user clicks on ur disables message text input
    x.setOnFocus("javascript:XXX.focus();");
    Now u can set CSS class.The above code will automatically set focus on field with item id XXX, when user clicks on it, thus not allowing user to enter anything in that message text input.
    I hope this helps.

  • Change background color of textbox based on non-visible value

    Hello,
    I have a 10g master - detail form. I was wondering how can I change background color of text box (NAME) based on non-visivle item (MODIFIED_BY) value.
    So far, I have created two visual attributes and have put following code on "WHEN_NEW_BLOCK_INSTANCE" trigger
    if( :main.MODIFIED_BY = 'COCO') then
         SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('main.NAME',VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE,'VA_BLUE');
    else
         SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('main.NAME',VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE,'VA_RED');
    end if;
         But, it always goes to "ELSE" part and make RED color for all records. Could you please help me with this?
    Thanks.

    Got it.
    Post Query trigger on block
         if (:main.MODIFIED_BY ='COCO') then
              set_item_instance_property('main.NAME',current_record,visual_attribute,'VA_BLUE');
         else
              set_item_instance_property('main.NAME',current_record,visual_attribute,'VA_RED');

  • I need to change the color of the font in my Bookmark Toolbar. Unable to read all bookmarks.

    No longer have a question about editing the Bookmarks Toolbar. I may be dense, but I have not discovered how I may change the text (font) color when using View, Bookmarks, Custom. I see the capability to choose to use text and image, but not to change the color of the text. The ability to "bold" the text would probably be sufficient. I will revisit the Getting Started page and select other background colors to try and alleviate the problem. Persona or thema colors conflict with black text (for my older eyes - I have a vision problem.).

    You can make such a change with code in userChrome.css
    Add code to [http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css userChrome.css] below the @namespace line.<br />
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editing_configuration#How_to_edit_configuration_files
    <pre><nowiki>@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */
    #personal-bookmarks .toolbarbutton-text {
    color: black !important;
    background-color: -moz-dialog !important;
    font-size: 11pt !important;
    font-weight: bold;
    </nowiki></pre>
    You can adjust the values or leave out things that you do not want to change.

  • Change the color of a particular row in a jtable

    I have a jtable and i want to change the color of one particular column and few rows to blue and underline the text depending on some condition. In my view class if a condition is true
    for( count=0;count<grdTest.getRowcount;count++)
    if(some condition true)
    grdTest.getColumnModel().getColumn(0).
    setCellRenderer(new MyTestCellRenderer(count));
    And my cell renderer
    public class MyTestCellRenderer extends DefaultTableCellRenderer {
    int rowIndex=-1;
    public MyTestCellRenderer(int rowcount) {
    super();
    rowIndex=rowcount;
    public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table, Object value,
    boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int column) {
    super.getTableCellRendererComponent(table, value,
    isSelected, hasFocus, row, column);
    if(row == rowIndex)
    setText("<html> <u> <font color='blue'>" + value.toString());
    return this;
    This is behaving very wierd . If suppose there are 50 rows and all of them have the condition true then only the last one in the row color is changes.
    However if only one out othe say10 has the condition true then it changes the color and underlines the particular row,column.
    Is there any other way to do this or what i am doing wrong
    Thanks

    if(row == rowIndex)Your code is a shambles because of the lack of tags, but I don't believe I see anything being called when this boolean condition is not true. That would be a problem.

  • Changing background color in JTable, only changes one row at a time...

    I'm trying to change the color of rows when the 5th column meets certain criteria. I think I'm very close, but I've hit a wall.
    What's happening is the row will change color as intended when the text in the 5th column is "KEY WORD", but when I type "KEY WORD" in a different column it will set the first row back to the regular colors. I can easily see why it's doing this, everytime something is changed it rerenders every cell, and the listener only checks the cell that was just changed if it met the "KEY WORD" condition, so it sets every cell (including the previous row that still meets the condition) to the normal colors. I can't come up with a good approach to changing the color for ALL rows that meet the condition. Any help would be appreciated.
    In this part of the CellRenderer:
            if (isSelected)
                color = Color.red;
            else
                color = Color.blue;
            if (hasFocus)
                color = Color.yellow;
            //row that meets special conditions
            if(row == specRow && col == specCol)
                color = color.white; I was thinking an approach would be to set them to their current color except for the one that meets special conditions, but the two problems with that are I can't figure out how to getColor() from the table, and I'm not sure how I would initially set the colors.
    Here's the rest of the relevant code:
        public void tableChanged(TableModelEvent e)
            int firstRow = e.getFirstRow();
            int lastRow  = e.getLastRow();
            int colIndex = e.getColumn();
            if(colIndex == 4)
                String value = (String)centerTable.getValueAt(firstRow, colIndex);
                // check for our special selection criteria
                if(value.equals("KEY WORD"))
                    for(int j = 0; j < centerTable.getColumnCount(); j++)
                        CellRenderer renderer =
                            (CellRenderer)centerTable.getCellRenderer(firstRow, j);
                        renderer.setSpecialSelection(firstRow, j);
    import javax.swing.table.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.Component;
    import java.awt.Color;
    public class CellRenderer extends DefaultTableCellRenderer
        int specRow, specCol;
        public CellRenderer()
            specRow = -1;
            specCol = -1;
        public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table,
                                                       Object value,
                                                       boolean isSelected,
                                                       boolean hasFocus,
                                                       int row, int col)
            setHorizontalAlignment(JLabel.CENTER);
            Color color = Color.green;
            if (isSelected)
                color = Color.red;
            else
                color = Color.blue;
            if (hasFocus)
                color = Color.yellow;
            if(row == specRow && col == specCol)
                color = color.white;
            //setForeground(color);
            setBackground(color);
            setText((String)value);
            return this;
        public void setSpecialSelection(int row, int col)
            specRow = row;
            specCol = col;
    }If I'm still stuck and more of my code is needed, I'll put together a smaller program that will isolate the problem tomorrow.

    That worked perfectly for what I was trying to do, but I've run into another problem. I'd like to change the row height when the conditions are met. What I discovered is that this creates an infinite loop since the resizing triggers the renderer, which resizes the row again, etc,. What would be the proper way to do this?
    Here's the modified code from the program given in the link. All I did was declare the table for the class, and modify the if so I could add the "table.setRowHeight(row, 30);" line.

  • Assets panel styles, can i change the color of a style to be an exact color?

    Assets panel > styles, can i change the color of a style
    to be an exact color? for example, if i want to create a navbar

    the color but keep the same style of shading. each style in the
    assets panel has a default color, but i want to change the color

    adjusting the hue and saturation, but i can't seem to get an exact
    match of the color i am trying to duplicate. any help is greatly
    appreciated thanks

    When a style is applied to any object, the Properties panel
    at the bottom will reflect the attributes which are editable in
    that applied style. The properties which can be edited are fill and
    stroke colors also apart from adjusting the Hue and Saturation.
    Gradient colors can be modified by changing the fill color.
    The nodes in the gradient will change the color from blue to black
    or any other intended color of change. If you know the color you
    can either enter it as a 6 digit value or you can pick a color from
    an existing object.

    Hi all,
    I have a JTable with 4 columns; I have to change the background color of the rows which have a certain value contained on the fourth column.
    So, if a row has, on its fourth column, a particular value...this row must change background color.
    Any suggestion ?

    Hi,
    this is a good solution that works fine for me :
    the Object "resources" is a List of String.
    public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table, Object value,
    boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int column) {
              JLabel retValue;

              if (column == 0) {
                   String s = (String)table.getModel().getValueAt(row, 3);
                   if ( !"".equals(s) && resourcers.contains(s) ) {
                             setBackground(table.getSelectionBackground());
                   } else {
                             setForeground(table.getForeground());
                             setBackground(table.getBackground());
         return retValue;
    Cheers.
