Changing Apple ID a purchase was made with

I have discovered that I have two Apple IDs that I have used to make purchases.  I know I can't merge IDs, but is there any way to move a purchase from one Apple ID to another just so I can have everything under one ID?

The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company or bank and report the unauthorized charges. That company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. 
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.

    Only the Apple ID used to buy an app can update an app. Apple does not merge Apple IDs and Apple does not transfer content biught with one ID to another ID.

    My iphone was stolen, but through iTunes, I've found that a purchase on my account was made (from iTunes). Can I track where an iTunes purchase was made on my phone? If I can track previous purchased apps, then perhaps I can track where the phone was. 

    No.. Apple does not do this.
    Report the device as stolen to law enforcement and the carrier.

    And is there any way to sync all my purchases and accounts to just have one... It is a bit stupid that you dont even get a list of something of what account you may of used, or some kind of hint, so you could log on to the right account. I am really stuck ...

    You can't merge accounts. But you can check your purchase history:

    I'm about to order the recovery discs from HP and with any luck be able to bring this laptop back to factory conditionn with all the correct partitions and sizes after I format the hard drive.

    Yes our recovery disks will return your unit to the factory state. All the software that came with the unit will be reinstalled. Whatever you added you will have to reinstall.

    The purchase history on your acocunt should say what the item was : if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it, click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent purchase is above the list).
    If you didn't make the purchase, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and may have made it, then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
    If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
    If you didn't make the purchase then you should also change your account's password e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's (click the Edit button to the right of your id on your account's page), by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone, or via http://appleid.apple.com

    I moved from one state to another. The Apple id I had on my iPad was associated with my old email.  I changed the Apple id to my new email.  When I tried to use a purchased app - Weber's On The Grill - it no longer would access the internet for updates.  It kept giving me a pop up window with my old email in it. I deleted the app thinking I could reinstall it.  When I went to the app store to get it again instead of saying Install it put up the price for the app.  I can no longer sign on to my old id and I can't get it again without buying the app again.     You cannot create a new AppleID with that old email address - for one thing, that email address is already assigned as an AppleID so cannot be used for a new one.  Second, you would never be able to verify such a new AppleID as you would not receive the email to do so.  Finally, simply because you started using a new AppleID has not made the old one disappear or become inactive.

    Here's the deal:
    I downloaded an app and opened it in iTunes.
    At that point, it's in my app library.
    I can't sync it to my iPhone 4, and I figured out why, it's because when i hit Command+i for info it says it was purchased by someone elses Apple ID.
    How can I change the Apple ID that it says I purchased the app with to my Apple ID.
    I tried to be as clear as possible but if anybody needs more information please tell me. would like to solve this problem.

    You can't. You'll need to sign out of the iTunes Store with the other Apple ID, sign in with yours and purchase the app. This is why you should not allow your friends to use their iTunes Store account on your computer. You didn't buy that app, your friend did.

    Until fairly recently my wife and I shared an apple ID, simply because it was easier, as we only had one debit card to pay for purchases etc.
    However, as our finances have become more stable I now have my own Apple ID and iphone 4.
    So all of the APPS that I have previously purchased using our 'shared' Apple ID, I have imported into 'my' iTunes. I've also been able to sync them with my iphone.
    The problem is, that when updates are issued they are looking for our 'shared' Apple ID. I did not with the following link that I'll need to put our 'shared' apple ID password in, forever...

    Isn't this slightly rubbish?
    I have paid for them, so don't see why I need to continue to use an old Apple ID. I appreciate this is for security reasons (otherwise, one person could download and share it with everybody). But, really that's not my concern, my concern is having the ability to update Apps that i have bought and paid for, without having to ask my wife "what's YOUR apple ID password again".

    Sadly that's the way it is. Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them, and you can't update apps across multiple IDs without switching in and out of each account.

    Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete or non-opening library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
    See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
    When you get it all working make a backup!

    This problem seems to happen when an event is made with Lotus Notes (8.5.2) is sent to me via email. After I accept the event I become the event organizer and emails are sent out to all the other attendees by me.
    Looking at the original CalDAV event in Textedit I can see that the event has an organizer listed this way. ATTENDEE;ROLE=CHAIR;... However, once the event is brought into Calendar that person's status in the event gets demoted to ATTENDEE;CN="FIRST LAST";CUTYPE=INDIVIDUAL;PARTSTAT=TENTAIVE;ROLE=REQ-PARTICIPANT... Looking at the imported event Calendar there seems to be no organizer listed which could be why I become the organizer. A sort of default behaviour.
    Has anyone seen this behaviour or have any suggestions for me.

    After I had my former notebook migrated to a new one, I am back to a problem I had before.
    After probing around a little bit I found: Sync of notes calendar works for the minimum interval 1 week in the past, 1 month in the future. But as soon as I change either one to more, no data gets transfered to the phone. The report says: A problem occured, therefore sync was aborted.
    - What is wrong with my calendar data in the notes file?
    - How can I find this and fix it? (I use my calendar extensively, e.g. I paste text-notes and sometimes images (maps) into a calender document)
    My Mail and contacts (address book names.nsf) are on Lotus Notes 7.0.3. Nokia PC Suite is 7.1.18.0.
    When I sync with the server notes mailfile, I see a counter on the phone screen that gets stuck at a certain number (in my case 80 out of thousandsomething). How can I find out with this information, which entry in my notes calendar creates the problem and aborts sync? Is the number on the phone screen when the counter stops useful?

    Well here on the Apple Support Communities you are talking to other users just like yourself and not Apple. We are not able to to do anything about your credit card.
    My suggestion it to call your credit card company and ask them to deny payment. Once you have done that it will get someone attention and they will start talking to you seriously.
