Changing filename in configuration

hi there,
my question is can we change filename of a file in the configuration without using IR(that means no mapping was done)? the scenario is a simple file to file , the only problem is that the filename must be changed.
is it possible to do this without using a udf(dynamic configuration)?

however in my scenario the sender channel is picking 3 different files that is three files with different names. if i do as you stated, srinivas, all the output files will have the same name, rite?
e.g
file1.csv ---> file1.csv
file2.csv -
> file.csv
file3.csv -
> file3.csv
as it can noticed onlyfile2.csv must be changed to file.csv. is it possible to do the above in the configuration itself without using an UDF?

You need to use WCF-Custom adapter and add the ServiceThrottlingBehavior service behavior to a WCF-Custom Locations.
ServiceThrottlingBehavior.MaxConcurrentCalls - Gets or sets a value that specifies the maximum number of messages actively processing across a ServiceHost. The MaxConcurrentCalls property specifies the maximum number of messages actively
processing across a ServiceHost object. Each channel can have one pending message that does not count against the value of MaxConcurrentCalls until WCF begins to process it.

Thanks for that, but what I asking was how to change the OSX default filename font color from black to white, so it becomes more easily visible when dark backgrounds are selected in icon view, eg the same way the Desktop default does, except when files are not on the Desktop.
or to put it another way:
if anyone's worked out an easy way to how to change the color of the font itself, rather than changing the folder/filename background using File, Label, Color, eg because light colors may already be in use as Labels, and so mean something else.

Will changing filenames break my library?

I prefer to have my music files named with the artist and track name. If I rename the files in my library with a script, will it corrupt the library? I've tried a test with one file and the file is renamed and still found by the library. However, the "filename" in itunes still lists the old filename which worries me. Thanks in advance.

Will changing filenames break my library? The general answer is yes although the Mac can sometimes be more tolerant of such things. If you must rename them use a script which not only renames the files, but also updates iTunes so that it knows where to find them in future. I've written one for Windows, but Doug's AppleScripts is bound to have something for you.

Problem changing Access Log Configuration

Hi,
I want to change the default configuration for creating access log files in the "http-web-site.xml".
After I inserted any additional attributes to the <access-log>-Tag (for example 'split' or 'format') and restarted the server, the server doesn't generate log files any more.
Does anyone know about this bug ?
I'm running oc4j 9.0.2 (stand-alone without Apache).
Any help would be appreciated.

</access-log>Then I stopped and restarted the Web server (/bin/stopserv, /bin/startserv). The access log now shows the additional data.

Change Management System configuration

Dear Experts.
I have some problem with Change Management System configuration, probably it hasn't installed properly,
but I cannot tell certain description of the problem to the BASIS administrator.
The problem is the following:
At first, then I logon into CMS by the first time, in the tab Domain Data obligatory input fields CMS User and CMS Password are the empty. Whitch username anew password values I should input in those input fields?
The other problem is then I'm trying to create the new Track: in the tab Track Data input Id and Name of the Track,
and pushing the Save Button, in the left table it doesn't appear. And then I trying to add Software Components to the Track, pushing the button Add SC, but the component list is empty.

We has found the problem issue by our self.
The user account for CMS has no role with permission to SLD component access.
Therefore, there was no access to SLD resources: software component and others.

We've encountered a replication problem ( TT16133 ) and would like to get more details about its cause, severity, and suggestion to mitigate it .
Configuration : TimesTen Release 7.0.5.0.0 (64 bit Linux/x86_64)
By looking at the context around the time these errors were reported, it appears we were doing a ttMigrate -c on several datastores, including the one which threw the error.
Primary datastore has the following line in its tterrors.log :

It is very likely that the ttMigrate -c is the culprit. That operation will place some locks on system tables and it looks like they are held for a not insignificant time. While those locks were held, the repagent tried to access the same tables to check if any schema changes had occurred and was not able to do so. The error is transient and should not cause any problems and can be safely ignored. it is possible that this could be a bug since:
1. It maybe the ttMigrate is holding locks for too long and could releae them sooner (we'd have to investigate to see that is the case).
2. A failure to check the schema change status on one peer should probably not result in an indication that the schema has changed on other peers. Again, we'd have to look into this.
If you are concerned about this then you should open an SR so that further investigation can be done.

The first is global to all accounts while the second is in your home directory. The X's are a sequence of hyphaninated letters and numbers. If you can get these removed then it will probably revert to a default resolution.

Change Filename using XSLT mapping without variable subtitution

Hi,
My scenario is IDOC to file...i am using XSLT mapping, i want to change the filename format to OUT_<Purchase Number>_<DDMMYYYYhhmmss>_KKKK.txt, i cannot use UDF function as i do XSLT mapping i also i cannot use variable substitution as the target structure doesn't have PO and timestamp as tag elements. Can i acheive using writing a adapter module? I appreciate if anyone could help me with this..

in both cases you need to enable file adapter specific properties and enable the file name...
for this you need to use the dynamic configuration properties for the same...
usage of this option using udf in message mapping is rather easy than to use in XSLT...for this you dont need to change the structure in the message mapping...message mapping is just needed for execution of the udf.. thats it..

Mail receiver adapter: change filename of attachment to number in payload.

Dear experts,
I want to send out Purchase Orders from XI to a email address. The XI message containing the Purchase Order is sent as an attachment to a email to the supplier. However, the filename of the attachment needs to unique. Preferably the PO number which is in the file content.
Can anybody help me out with how to accomplish this?
My current settings are:
Transport protocol: SMTP
Message Protocol: XIPAYLOAD
Not using mail package
Keeping attachments.
Using: MessageTransformBean
Transform.ContentDisposition --> attachment;filename="testing.xml"
Please tell me how to dynamically change the "testing.xml" part!

Applescript: open Pages doc from Templete, change filename and replace text

I just got started with applescript and i want a script that does the following:
1. open "choose from list" dialog to choose the topic of my document
from 4 possibilities (here for example A, B, C, D)
2. open document from TemplateXY
3. set document name with date and topic (dd.mm.yyy) "16.02.2011 - A"
4.inside of document: replace text "date" with the currend date (dd.mm.yyy)
and the text "topic" with the topic chosen in (1.) "A"
this is what i already did:

How to handle changing IPv6 network configurations

Hi,
I run a Mac Mini as a server with OS X Server 10.8.5/2.2 on it using an internet connection with DS-lite. The server runs fine on a private IPv4 and a public IPv6 assigned by the ISP thrugh my router. Now from time to time (on some really odd days 5 times a day) my ISP decides to change my IPv6 prefix and as a consequence the IPv6 of my server. This results in a warning and some services seem to work not always properly. When I handle the warning and update the network configuration (although all relevant pieces of configuration that are shown along this proces remain unchanged), everything is back to normal.
Now I wonder whether there is better way to handle changing IPv6 prefixes while everything else is unchanged? Any thougths? Thanks. Steffen

I suppose your versioning strategy should take into account your particular circumstances, impact analysis, ESB architecture etc...
In our case it makes sense to version the service operations because we have some consumers that want to stay on the older version & other that want to move with the changing versions...
We've noticed that SAP, with the standard delivered enterprise services also version step the service operations so you esentially have 2 service contracts but one that caters for additional fields/functionality. The consumer uses the service operation that they prefer.
The other possibility, if you are in a position to make the new fields 'optional' then you could do that without impacting all the consumers, the consumers that have the additional info to pass in the request can do so & the other consumers can carry on business as usual.
Then you could also version step the entire service, that would entail making use of a new software component version but this would entail new endpoints & depending on your architecture it could impact all your consumers. If you're using an integrated ESB architecture, your consumers would have one endpoint & the ESB would route the request to the relevant service version.
So you could minise impact on the consumers & develop a good versioning strategy depending on what your current situation is.

Permanently change default error configuration in Analysis Services 2005

Hi,
Currently, I am working on a BPC 5.1 application. The data for this application is loaded(inserted via SQL statement) right to the FACT table and then a full process is run for that cube via an SSIS package using the Analysis Services Processing Task. Often records are loaded this way where a dimension member for some of the records has not been added to the Account dimension yet. These records after loading are considered 'orphan records' until the accounts are added to the account dimension.
This loading process is used because of the volume of records loaded(over 2 million at a time) and the timing of the company's business process. They will receive data sometimes weeks before the account dimension is updated in BPC with the new dimension members.
If I try and process the application from the BPC Administration area with these orphan records in the FACT table, the processing stops and an error displays. Then when I process the cube from Analysis services, an error is displayed telling me that orphan data was found.
A temporary work-around is to go into the cube properties in Analysis Services 2005, click on Error Configuration, uncheck 'Use default error configuration' and select 'Ignore errors'. Then you can process the application from BPC's Administration page successfully. But, the problem is that after processing the application successfully, the Analysis Services Error Configuration automatically switches back from 'Ignore errors' to 'Use default error configuration'.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to permanently keep the 'Ignore errors' configuration selected so it does not automatically switch back to 'Use default error configuration'? Prior to BPC 5.0 this was not occurring.
Also, does anyone know why this was changed in BPC 5.0/5.1?

I understood the problem but I can say that it was a bad migration of appset from 4.2 to 5.0.
Any way they are using a dts package to import data into our fact table. That's means they have to add another step into that package where they have to do the verfications of records before to insert into fact table. Verfications can be done using the same mechanism from our standard import. Just edit that package and add similar steps into customer package.
Attention you need somebody with experience developing DTS packages with for BPC to avoid other problems.
One of big benefits from 5.X compare with 4.2 was the fact that we are able to use optimization schema and aggregations for cubes.
Heaving that orphan records it is not possible to use optimization schema for cubes and you are not able to create good aggregation into your cube.
So my idea is to provide all these information to customer and to try to modify that package instead to enable that option which can cause many other issues.
