Changing image datas by modifying range scale

Bonjour.
Merci d'avance, Arnaud.
Hi,
I'm working on a 16 bits image (320x256) with a scale values. I would like to modify, during the execution, the max of the scale (increase or discrease it) in order to change sensibility. So, the goal is to obtain an image which changes with the variation of the range scale.
I'm using a production/consumption architecture on Labview 8.0. You could find in attachment printscreens of the frontpage and of the diagram (which is corresponding here to the modification of the image by modifying the color palette).
I tried to use property nodes, but without any success yet. I hope someone could help me and find any possible solution.
Thanks, Arnaud.

Bonjour Arnaud,
J'imagine que quelque chose comme le VI attaché ci-dessous devrait vous convenir. Il est possible de modifier la valeur des marqueurs et leur couleur par noeud de propriété.

  • I can change Image Date, but file now has 2 dates associated with it!

I have been able to successfully change the image date of the file using Timeature (I need to do this for a handful of images that have an incorrect date), as recommended elsewhere on the discussion board.
    What happens now is that:
    1. The metadata inspector shows the Image Date field as 9/1/02 12:00:00 PM PDT
(this is correct - I set it to be that date and time, so that is great)
    2. When I click on the "EXIF" button at the bottom of the inspector (which allows me to choose what fields appear in the metadata inspector), the Image Date field is 2/1/04 9:51 AM GMT
(this is the time the photo was taken, but it is what I am trying to change)
So I now seem to have 2 image dates associated with the file.
Any thoughts on how to "clear" the one I am trying to change?
    Thanks!

Yeah, and worse the date set by Timeature is not set in the EXIF data so if you try to export the version the date you set won't go with the JPG. Even worse, I'm pretty sure the export will have the original photo's EXIF date, if it had one. You can get export to put the version date in the file name with the right export options.
Export should really allow you to set the EXIF date on versions you export. One reason I bought Aperture was to be able to manage metadata so well that I wouldn't be beholden to it forever. Figured paying the big purchase price for Aperture was my ransom. We'll see in the next few versions if they fix this.
The two dates are 1) the date in the per-version metadata and 2) the EXIF date in the original JPG. It doesn't modify the EXIF date in the original because Aperture doesn't modify the original by convention. Not updating EXIF data in the original jpg is probably right (IF they would provide a way to export all the version meta data into EXIFs).
I've resorted to using some command line freeware jhead to set the EXIF dates before import for most of the stuff. You have to do that before the import though because once imported Aperture seems to ignore the EXIF date save for displaying it (to confuse you :-)).
Since I don't actually care that the original JPG is preserved for me it would be nice to have a utility that read the date out of the latest version meta data and set the EXIF date on the original. That would compliment Timeature (which I find really really tedious and slow).
Please correct me if I got this wrong!

  • Changing image dates

The image dates are wrong on the pictures I've imported into aperature. The reason for this is that I screwed up my iPhoto library royally. Is there a way to change the image date using batch change?

    not directly thru aperture ...
but there is a great little tool, timature ...
    http://www.tow.com/timeature/
it allows batch date changes like iPhoto ...

  • Can I change image date and capture year in Aperture?

Is there a way to manually change the image date and capture year (and other metadata for that matter) upon import? I have some pictures given to me by friends that they took on their own cameras and I want to import them into my Aperture Library, only it seems as though they didn't pay attention to/care about setting the date/time on their cameras. This causes me to lose sequence with my own photos that were taken with my camera on the same day.
I tried to append and replace the IPTC Metadata, but that didn't seem to work. What can be done about this, or am I just stuck with some out of sequence photos when I sort by image date?

    RB,
That worked perfectly, and was just what I was looking to do. Thanks.

  • Get image data in vc++

    hi  all,
i'd like to use vc++ to process image data (read/modify pixel values, display the image, etc.) through imaq library.
    sample code:
    // get the frame
    imgGrab (Sid, &ImaqBuffer, TRUE);
    // display it using imgPlot
    imgPlot ((GUIHNDL)ImaqSmplHwnd, ImaqBuffer, 0, 0, AcqWinWidth, AcqWinHeight, CanvasLeft, CanvasTop, plotFlag);
imaqBuffer ist the buffer for storing image data, which was declared as follows:
static char *ImaqBuffer=NULL; // acquisiton buffer
How can i get the image data from "ImaqBuffer"? (how to get the buffer size?)
    thx a lot!
    scott

Hi Scott, wit installing NI-IMAQ you will get examples.  You can find them in C:\Programme\National Instruments\NI-IMAQ\Sample\MSVC\Grab I think they will answer your question.

  • I am trying to organize thousands of images in aperture.  The dates on the old scanned images is all 2008, when I started importing them.  When I change the date in aperture some of them hold the modified date and some revert to 2008.  Any ideas?

I am trying to organize thousands of old images in aperture.  Aperture dates them all in 2008, when I started this project.  When I change the date in aperture some of them hold the modified date and some revert to 2008.  Any ideas?

I just tried a test library, re-imported fresh images from a hard drive, and the date changes still revert.
So neither your external drive nor your Aperture library are to blame.
What do you mean test in a different user acct?  Would it be a good idea to uninstall and re-download aperture 3?
    Appreciate all your help.
I meant the trouble shooting procedure described here:  Isolating an issue by using another user account
To test, if some settings in your user account are faulty or preferences files corrupted, it helps to create a new user account from the "Users&Groups" System preferences. With a brand new user account you can see, if something in your current account is causing this.
Should you see, that Aperture is not even working from a new and clean account, I'd reinstall Aperture, and if need be the Operating system.  Are you using any plug-ins?

  • Why does placing links in Illustrator now change the "Date Modified" data for all of my files?

This seems to be a new glitch that started after I installed the latest updates to Illustrator CC (2014) and reoccurs every time on both computers I work on:
When I choose to place a new image in my Illustrator file and the window opens to let me choose a file to place, the "Date Modified" field of all the files in the folder I'm viewing (except other Illustrator files) quickly changes to the current date and time. This is definitely happening when I'm in Illustrator because when I needed files from a folder that had hundreds of images in it and I was able to select a file quickly, I was able to do so before it had changed the date on all of my files. However, when I needed a file from a folder that had hundreds of images in it but I took a long time to find the image I needed, Illustrator had time to change the date modified on all of my files. This might seem like an unimportant issue because it doesn't actually seem to modify or damage any of my files, but having all of the dates change on my files is a serious problem for my workflow and file management issues. So far, my only work around has been to use back-up image files, but that's not a long term solution and I don't understand why Illustrator should be modifying the dates of my files.
Is there a setting I can choose somewhere to prevent this problem? If not, is there somewhere I can report this kind of glitch? I'm not sure if I'm using the exact language necessary to get the issue across so please let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!

iCloud is not compatible with Snow Leopard, that is your problem.
A quick way out is to purchase Soho Organizer which is compatible, even when running on Snow Leopard, it will correctly handle Contacts and Calendars from iCloud. $100, 2 user license.

  • How to change the year in a range of column dates to the new year?

How to change the year in a range of column dates to the new year?

Depends on the pattern of the dates. The last procedure will work for any pattern, or no pattern at all.
For examples.the dates are assumed to be in column A, starting at A2
    Sequential dates?
Enter first updated date in the first cell.
Enter =A2+1 in cell A3. Copy the cell.
Select A3 to the end of the list. Paste.
With the cells still selected, Copy, then go Edit > Paste Values.
    Evenly spaced dates?
Same procedure as above, but replace +1 in the formula with + and the number of days between dates in the list.
    Randomly spaced dates?
Select cell B2. Press option-left arrow to insert a (temporary) column to the left of column B.
Click on the empty cell B2 in the new column. Enter the formula below:
    =DATE(YEAR(A)+1,MONTH(A),DAY(A))
Copy the cell, then select B2 - Bn where n is the last ow containing a date to be converted. Paste,
With the cells still selected, Copy.
Click on A2, then go Edit > Paste values.
Click on the column B reference tab to select all of column B.
Hover the mouse over the right end of the reference tab, and click the black triangle when it appears.
Choose Delete Column from the menu that appears.

  • PSE 10 tossing images in trash after I change the date on a mac

Is it normal for PSE 10 to throw images in the trash after I change the date of a image? I have a bunch of images that came in with the wrong date from my camera, I decided finally to correct the date. I noticed my trash can suddenly with content, I opened it and all the images I changed the date on were in the trash can. This makes me nervous if I should empty the trash. Is this normal for these images to get tossed? It doesn't keep the original somewhere?
    I'm on a macbook pro, os x 10.7.2 lion.

    Hi,
If you are adjusting date time of your images, the new images with new date time are created with the same name as the older ones. So they replace the old files on the disk location. As such the older files (with old date time) are sent to trash. Also, why would one want to clutter his catalog with duplicates having one set of wrong timed media and a duplicate set of correctly timed media.
I guess this is how organizer understands the workflow.
So possibly you can safely empty your trash, but this does mean loosing out on your 'old-timed' media.
    Thanks

  • How can I change picture data to image data

I have an array that I am displaying in a picture control as an 16-bit data type. How can I change this into an Image data type with out saving it first?

    Sean,
Use IMAQ ArrayToImage, which will take your array and convert it to an IMAQ image.

Are you using the Adjust Date and Time option or the Batch Change option?  If it's the former try the latter.  If you get the same results  launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import  the same video file and check to see if the same problem persists.

  • Changing Created and/or Modified dates???

Just taking a guess this is the right forum for this.
When I download files from my cell phone (via bluetooth) the created and modified dates become the date of download. I would like to preserve the created dates relative to the cell phone data.
    Anyway to do this?
    Thank you

I have a similar problem to the one posted in this forum and this solution was helpful. However it does not work for filenames with sapaces, and it is very time consuming since I need to change the date of about 1,500 picture files. Is there a way to:
    1) easily remove spaces from all filenames - not having to do one by one?
    2) change the date to all pictures in a folder at the same time without having to do one by one? (I can change the dates of many pcitures to the same date, but it would be wonderful if I could add 1 day (or 1 minute) between each so they would always show up in the correct order in iPhoto.
    3) Alternatively I could rename all pictures in a folder 'Jan2004' as: 04-01 (1).jpg, 04-01 (2).jpg, etc if I could do it in a 'batch' and not one by one that would solve my problem - this might be even best since file name info seems to never get lost/changed in imports/exports as date info can.
    I appreciate your help!
    Cristina
Background: I tried to rebuild my iPhoto libary and in the process I lost all date and filename changes I had made because I realized iPhoto does not change the original file info. I was hoping if I changed the original file info now I wont have problems in the future if I rebuild my library or also when I export the picts to other computers/backup.

  • ICal sync- alert says will delete all past entries- Yes, I have my Keep Appointments set to "forever" AND I've tried changing the date range in desktop mgr- HELP

I just did the update for the software on the 8530.  This is a new problem since the update.  I cannot lose my old entries, so I am unable to sync at all now until Blackberry addresses this bug.
I have read through all of the "fixes" but none of them work.
My Keep Appointments setting has always (and I verified is still) set to "forever"
I went into the advance settings on the MAC desktop software from Blackberry and tried changing the date range to the suggested 14 days past and 365 days future.  I even tried changing the past days parameter to "1" in hopes it would simply ignore old entries... It still wants to delete 435 past entries.
    I have to keep these.
Help, Blackberry!  Your "update" to the software is overriding my settings and has made the sync function unusable.

    Christina,
Thanks for the reply. I unchecked all calendars in iCal and synced and it still gave me the same notice. So then I went into the iTunes window and checked the sync only certain calendars box (instead of the all calendars box) and left all the calendars unchecked and clicked apply but when I click on sync it automatically reverts to all calendars.
When you say you unchecked all calendars did you mean in iCal? And what did you have your iCal settings at in your iTunes sync window?
    I appreciate your help,
    Andrea

  • Change Embedded Image Date

how can i change the date of a file - it has the wrong date from the camera and when i sort by image date, i obviously get a sort order that is not how i want it to be.
is there a 3rd party software that can do this ?
i've tried exporting to iPhoto and editing the date there, but the changes don't show on reimport to Aperture
    thanks

I would love to have this as a feature in Aperture too. I have sent apple feedback to make a 'Feature Request' for editing the 'Date Taken' field.
I have about 7000 scanned images from various dates over the last 60-65 years which are a complete jumble in aperture at the moment. It would be hugely advantageous to be able to change the 'Date Taken' field in Aperture just to be able to put some order into my library. Being able to 'Lift and Stamp' the date would be even better!
I realise that Apple consider the 'Master' image files as unchangeable (and I really think that this is a VERY good idea), so I wouldn't mind if the EXIF date in the image file was left untouched. I'd be happy if the 'Date Taken' field in Aperture's own library structure (and XML sidecar files) were editable instead. It should be possible to do this quite easily because the 'Date Taken' field in Aperture's library takes on the file's 'Date Created' date if there is no EXIF information within the file. I don't really want to manually go through all my files in Finder and editing the date created field on them all.
I have used the Terminal application EXIFTool (VERY versatile) and written some Applescript to batch change the EXIF 'Date Created' in some of these files, but it would be a HUGE advantage to be able to organise the library from within Aperture itself, swap images round, etc. It is such a great user interface.
    Here's hoping!

    My LabVIEW version is 2009
    What can i do??

Do you have VDM? Did you try "Image to array"?
