Changing Ni scope V/div results in signal saturation

Hello everybody !
I am using a NI PXIe-5114 scope card in my PXI system and I am facing a issue ...
In the test panel of that card in NI MAX, according to the V/div settings, the signal is cut-off or not just as if a saturation was applied (even though the amplitude can definitely be displayed on the screen ...).
The problem is that in my LabVIEW vi's when I call the NI scope, I always get this saturation because I haven't found any option to tune the V/div from a vi ...
Can anyone help me see where I am going wrong with the use of my NI scope ?

There isn't really a V/div for the NI scopes. No screen, so no divisions. Instead, you have a range, which is the maximum value you can read. You set this with the Configure Vertical VI.

Changing the scope of a destination that used HibernateAssembler

Now after playing with this for quite some time, it kinda
started to make sense.
I have a unique situation where I need to point the
application to different databases based on the user.
I use a remote object call over rtmp to authenticate my users
and then set a FlexSession variable to their specific db
connection.url.
I then want to be able to retrieve this attribute from within
my HibernateAssembler during Initialize().
What I've done so far: I had to nuke the <server>
section from my destination, change the scope to Session and then
roll my own version of the Assembler, since the one out of the box
is hardcoded to retrieve certain values from <server>
properties. My destinations have been renamed so they have the same
name as my hibernate entities - default behaviour - and I set
caching and allow-hql within the HibernateType class.
After I create the hibernate configuration in
HibernateAssembler.Initialize() I run this line:
configuration.setProperty("hibernate.connection.url",
connString.toString()); //connString = flexsession variable set on
login
Now this *appears* to work. However I am wondering whether or
not this approach of using FlexSession is going to be robust enough
in the long term. Also, I am wondering whether I am hitting a tack
with a sledgehammer here... perhaps there is a much simpler
solution? I would love to hear it!

There are also tons of tutorials on tv.adobe, Lynda.com and I did one for total training on Dreamweaver CS5, and one for the tv.adobe team on the EDU channel. There are plenty of places to learn. It isn't bad you didn't have a success first time out, you now know where to start at least. We all started as n00bs at one point. Don't hesitate to reach out.
Just some tips. CSS controls all the divs, and the basic look and feel of your content. The code itself will look simple, but the CSS drives everything else. For a glimpse into the power, take a look at an old side called http://csszengarden.com. Click on the links on the side. It is the same CSS, and the same HTML, but each person's interpertation of what the page should look like. Also, make sure you have the developer tools for your favorite browser, and then take some websites, and turn on and off the CSS for the pages. It will be eye opening. Tables shouldn't be used for lay out, because you can't reposition them like you can containers like divs, or other elements in your html. Imagine a 1000 page website, and you want to change the header image throughout. As long as it is a background image, you make the change to 1 place in your CSS and it is changed everywhere. Or text, or if a div is right or left float. I could go on and on.
Anyway, there are also plenty of templates to help you gain that knowledge also. Tons of good stuff to learn out there.

HT5622 I changed ISP and as a result, I lost the use of my email address which I used as my apple id. I changed my id on one iPad (I have two) but the change is not recognized on the 2nd. I keep being asked to sign in under the old id. What's up?

I changed ISP and as a result lost access to the email address I used as my Apple ID I went to the Apple ID page and changed my id to my new email address for my personal iPad. But when I use my other iPad, I am asked to login using my old email address and password. When I try to reset my id for the 2nd iPad, using the Apple ID page, it shows my new email. How do I import the hanged Apple ID to my 2nd iPad?

Firefox downloads files automatically when opening a opening a search result. What setting do I need to change to have the search result file (pdf. or whatever) open instead? Something changed yesterday and I lost the ability to open the files vs. download.

Normally, when I use my online account, when i select a document to open with excel or with adobe, the applicaiton installed on the PC, is used to open the files.
Can you check the under control panel, default programs, and see what program is associated to the PDF files?
When you try to open one of those pdf files from your back, what happens?
If you download them to the HDD, are they automatically associated to ADOBE?

How do I change color of hyperlink search results in WebHelp Pro?

I'm trying to figure out how to change the color of search result hyperlinks when using WebHelp Pro in RH8. The links currently are vibrant blue and purple after clicked on. I can't find anywhere in the style sheet or in the skin editor options to define this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In your .css file, use something like the following; the "A:" would be your default link, and the "A.topic:" would be a different class of link (we use it for some in-topic navigation links). Note that the order in which the qualifiers appear is important. Follow the LoVeHate method (Link, Visited, Hover).
Feel free to try it and use your own combinations (you might not want the expanded letter-spacing, for example). We also reversed the underline format from the default html (none for link and visited, underline for hover).

Dreamweaver CC fluid grid, can I change the position of DIV's based on Mobile, Tablet, Desktop view?

Hi all,
Currently working on my first Dreamweaver CC fluid grid / responsive site. I want to optimise the pages layout for Mobile, Tablet and Desktop.
I can see that I can hide individual div elements by adding "display: none;" to the mobile media query code in the CSS.
I am wondering am I able to change the position of DIV's in relation to the order of each other some how using a similar way?
Eg I have a webpage design for desktop like.

Nav
Description
Buy Button
Photo
On mobile I'd like to be able to bring that Photo up towards the top of the layout eg.

Nav
Photo
Description
Buy Button
I was hoping those up and down arrows you see in the Dreamweaver CC interface was going to some how make the changes to each view Mobile, Tablet, Desktop, but all that is doing is moving the position of code in the HTML amoung each of the main DIV sections.
Or am I at the point where I will need to create a seperate page for mobile only to make a layout change like this?
Any help would be great

I have got some further info, and if I have lead you astray I am sorry.
I don't think you can change the order of the divs in a responsive layout in DW CC.
However, you can arrange the divs to sit under or beside each other differently in each of the layouts, for pc, tablet or phone.
You can also switch divs off and on in each of the layouts, having them display in one size screen and not in another.
So what you would need to do is to create a couple of nav divs, if you want a nav at the top of one type of screen and one at the bottom. You could duplicate the content in both of them and switch one on in one layout and one off in the other.

I am doing my first layout for a client using DW CC responsive layouts. I have done two test/hobby sites already.
It is a bit of a mission learning it but I am getting there.
I do find it interesting that most people recommend using other programs to do responsive rather than Dreamweaver's fluid grid layouts. I don't think many people are using it yet.

Hello,
Can someone please tell me how to replace the document icons like pdf and doc that come up in the search results.I looked around in item and display templates but could not locate that item result part.All i want is to use a different icon for some result

There is no signal bein sent to my projector at all. I tried changing the wires as well as projector... still no signal. I don't know what seems to be the problem. I even got another adapter to see and I got the same results... no signal. I wonder if the update to Lion had something to do with it.

Same here, Macbook Pro 15" with Lion installed, does not detect the huge projector in a lecture hall, complete desaster last Monday before lecturing. Today, I have noticed that a restart of the computer helps ... immediate detection of the projector. Strange ... I never had to reboot my Mac to detect a projector but know this only from Windows users.

Change the colour of search result highlight?

Hi i am wondering 2 things. Firstly, why the default colour that a search result is highlighted in is a strange medium-dark blue, and secondly why there is no option to change it.
Its really hard to see any search result on almost any document, and its common knowledge that almost all documents in general have black text.
I thought the main purpose of any search tool anywhere in the world was to save time trying to find a word amongst hundreds or thousands of other words.
I guess adobe with their millions of dollars and experienced team weren't able to think of this.

When I do a search for a particular song in the iTunes store, how can I change the view for the results?

I have the latest version of iTunes. Today I did a search for a particular song. In the past, I used to get a list of the song and the various artists who recorded it, and I could click the little arrow and play a preview of that song before I decided to buy it. Today the results didn't display that way - instead, I got a page with probably 50 or 100 songs all spread out across the page, and the "writing" was all overlayed so you couldn't quite tell what you're supposed to see! I want to go back to the "list" view but couldn't find anywhere to change the view preference. Any idea how?

I want to change the type of a Result Set

I was using a ResultSet object to store the results of a query, and when i attempted to use the ResultSet function "last()", i had a SQL exception saying that I cannot use this function on a ResultSet of type TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY. How can I change the type of a ResultSet to be for example TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE, so that i can use the 'last()' function? I can only find a function caleed getType() but i want a function to allow me to set the type of the ResultSet.....

The type is determined when you create the Statement or PreparedStatement object. See the documention for Connection.createStatement or Connection.prepareStatement.

EA1 - Cannot Change Date Format in SQL Results

In version 1.2, I used to go to Tools > Preferences > Database > NLS Paramters and change the date format there. The change would then be reflected in the SQL results for date columns.
When I try to do the same thing in 1.5 EA1, the date format is always the same, DD-MON-RR, no matter what I put in the date format setting under NLS Paramters.
Am I missing something?

Just a quick post to make sure that the bug you logged takes into account all NLS parameters :), as this does not concern only dates but also timestamp formats, decimal and group separators as well, and probably all of the NLS parameters I assume.

The results are coming perfectly fine... but when I create % Change Previous Month Cx count and % change Previous month Account count, It is not showing the correct results and getting only 0% listed even if the Difference is huge and should be around 10% ...

Can some one tell me what I need to do in order to get the desired results.
I am using a time dimension with the following hierarchy ( Year - Month - Period_ID) joined with the Reporting Table Fact which has count of cx and Count of Accts.

We have two assets one acquired on 01/04/2014 and another on 26/04/2014. Everything else is same for both assets like asset class , keys etc.
Now here are two calculations.
System is giving calculation ok , what should we do so that for both assets we are left with same scrap value (1047) (and not 1119.68 as in last line )
Can anyone help how to get value in last field of screen shot given below asset vale date or it is always blank.
wanted to add something in our case DEP to the DAY is also ticked in dep key.

Change Data Capture: Unsubscribed column results in new change set record

I have an installation using Oracle 11g Change Data Capture in synchronous mode. As of writing, I have a single publication and a single subscription. The setup is pretty basic:
PUB_TABLE
PUB_ID*
PUB_NAME*
PUB_USELESS_FLAG
* columns are included in both the PUBLICATION and the SUBSCRIPTION. The final column is of no consequence and is excluded from both the PUBLICATION and SUBSCRIPTION.
My problem is that any time PUB_USELESS_FLAG gets updated (even if no other columns are changed), a record is written to not only the change table but the change table view. The table in question has a significant number of transactions logged against it, but only a subset of those changes are of note to the subscriber (which is why the subscriber does not listen to every column). However, since the subscription is receiving records for every change to the source table, the result is an enormous amount of overhead as the subscriber is forced to sift through numerous records that are of no consequence.
I read the Change Data Capture manual for Oracle 11g; I could not find any reference to the observed functionality. Is this a consequence of using synchronous vs. asynchronous modes of capture? Is there an option to only receive changes on subscribed columns?
