Changing quantities from purchase requisition to purchase order

Hi MM friends,
I've created a purchase requisition with some materials and quantities.
When I create a purchase orer in reference to this purchase requisition, SAP modifies quantities for some materials.

Hi,
This is standard functionality of SAP...If you create PR for say 100 qty, then while creating PO w.r.t. PR you can change quantity to 70....
The same will be replicated in PR history.....
Coming to your point If you do not want to make any changes in the quantity in the PO, then you have to make sure that your all PO's are only getting generated by PR....
Spro-Materials Management-Purchasing-Purchase Order-Define Screen Layout at Document Level..Select ME21N...Quantity and Price--Make quantity as DISPLAY..SAve and come out..
Now try, it will work..
Also Be sure this will only work out if you are making your all PO's wrt PR...If you try to create PO manual (w/o any ref) then Quantity field will be in suppress mode.

    Hi,
    Check whether this PO is created w.r.t. PR and PR is created automatically during Sales order creation.
    If it is so then need no to change the delivery date in PO, it will always get updated as per the Schedule Line date of sales order.
    You can go for GR w.r.t. PO directly.

  • Change Document - for purchase order

    when i make some changes in the purchase order(ME22N) it is stored in the table CDPOS but when i change the delivery address field this alone is not stored. what may be the reason? and how to do it?

    No, this is not directly linked to the customer or vendor master. What happens is, during PO creation the delivery address is picked up from the address of the plant, but that can be updated via both BAPI and transaction.Each time this address gets changed, SAP generates a new ADRNR and store that address in ADRC.
    This might help you in future in case you face such situation. I faced this only a few months and that's why I remeber this so clearly.

  • Not to include item from purchase order to the delivery order

    Hi,
    i need some guidance on above topic. The user requested to have the functionality not to include the item from purchase order to delivery order when the item having  order balance quantity more than the available stock.
    In other words, if a PO contains several items, those order balance quantity which is more than the available stock will not be included in the DO.
    is the above scenario possible?

    u can do it , but in this case u have to make use of user exit or BADI.
    option 1 .
    by using user exit , u can delete/change picking/confirm qty .
    option2:
    while doing  the PGI , do can cross check stock avail with PO qty and raise error messages.

  • Function Module / BAPI for Inbound Delivery from Purchase Order

    Hi,
    I need to create an inbound delivery from Purchase Order items and am looking out for some Function Module or BAPI for the same.
    The requirement is that i should be able to specify selected line items from PO for delivery.
    I tried the BDC method for VL31N , but the particular item selection is problem, since by default it shows all the items of PO and i want only selected items.

    Dear All,
    I want to cancel line item from Purchase Order.
    But  i am unable to do it as i have already made advance payment against PO/Item.
    Actually advance payment was against another Item of PO but by mistake selected wrong item while f-47.
    Now i want to delete item for which made avance payment and transfer advance payment with another PO item.
    How to do it.

    Your Issue
    Lets say, you have created two items in a PO, and made adv payment against item 10 instead of 20.
    Now you want to delete the item 10---
    Solution
    I hope you have not done any GRN to both items (10 & 20) of your PO.
    Then make your item 10 as same as your item 20. (Do change the material code, order qty, price etc)
    Then delete the item 20.
    So with this, you have made your errorised PO item as actual item, and deleting yout actual PO item as errorised item.
    This is as good as swaping the items from one item to another item in the same PO.
    This will resolve your issue.

  • How 2 Copy Header & Line Item Text from Purchase Order 2 Out Bound Delivery

    Hi SD Gurus,
    I want to copy header and line item text from Purchase Order to Out Bound Delivery (This is required in Stock Transfer Process).
    I have been able to do successful config. for copying header and line item text from Sales Order to Outbound Delivery but config. doesn't seems to be same for copying text from PO to OBD.
    Is there any way to achieve the same? Can some expert show the way to achieve this.

    I have seen some PO's which have info rec texts in that, which gets pulled by the above code...first thing is its id is F02 which exist in STXH table also there is other text with F01 id, and hence the table it_itab gets both these text hence no pbm.
    but i came across a PO which has only one text which is info rec text with id F05 and is not store in stxh and hence doesnot get pulled by read_text fm. How do i change my cod to get this text which should not hamper other PO's as well.
    As mentioned in above msgs, this F05 could be retrieved by providing object name as EINE.

    When i am chacking in me22 Plant is in Disable mode even to change manually. Is there a way to change from a function module or standard report?

    If it's one order only try to use ME22n and check out below condition... also consult functional consultant there..
    Check out whether Tr./Ev. Goods receipt and/or Tr./Ev. Invoice receipt happened for the purchase order which you are trying to change...
    If so and all the quantity received then as per configuration it won't allow you to change the plant..
    try to use T-Code ME22n (SAP Enjoy Transaction)
    If it's for mass change then user BAPI_PO_CHANGE for it...

    First, determine the information that is necessary for creating the purchase order:
    Check in the Purchasing component whether a purchase requisition exists for the asset (Logistics - Materials management - Purchasing).
    Determine the vendor from whom you are ordering the asset. If needed, enter the purchasing data for the vendor.
    Determine the asset number of the asset that is being ordered. If necessary, create a new asset.
    Create the purchase order. If there is a purchase requisition, use it as a reference (in Purchasing: Purchase order - Create).
    In the initial screen, when you specify the account assignment type A (for asset), this determines
    The account assignment to an asset
    How the goods receipt or the invoice receipt is to be handled (are asset values to be posted at the time of the goods receipt or at the time of the invoice receipt).
    Once you have entered the general purchasing data in the first screen (order date, material group, etc.), a dialog box appears. Enter the asset to which account assignment is to be made in this dialog box.
    If the asset master record for your purchase has not yet been created, you can create it directly from within the purchase order transaction.
    Display the order item and its current delivery status (in Purchasing: Purchase order - List display - By account assignment).
    Later, post the goods receipt or the invoice receipt. (The Customizing definition of the account assignment type determines when the asset values are posted - either at goods receipt or at invoice receipt.) See the corresponding documentation for the Materials Management (MM) component.

    I Need a Exit or BADI when Tax Calculation in MIRO from Purchase order.
    The problem is the tax is automatically calculated from tax code in PO but I want it to be calculated
    from PO condition. Is there any exit available by which I can modify the value of tax when ticking the check box of tax calculation in MIRO.

    BADI has method COPY_DRSEG_SELKZ but since there only importing paramters and no exporting or changing parametrs you cannot change the values of rseg here.
    Try using proper Implicit enahncement by debugging .

    For me it does not make any sense from going from PO to cost center report.
    However, if you want to see the purchase order cost incurred with a cost center, execute KSB1 report. Within the layout, bring "Purchasing Document" field, where you can see the purchase order number in cost center line item report.

    You will have to activate basic cash management (part of FSCM) and use TCode FF7B (liquidity forecast). What the report would do is, based on the delivery date of the purchase order and the payment terms of the vendor (plus some grace days for clearing the payment as per configuration) determine the date of expected payments and project the cash (and bank) balance by days/week or months.
    Alternatively you can write your own ABAP code which will do the same thing.
    a. Take a list of all open POs and determine the delivery date (EKKO and EKPO)
    b. Add the payment terms as per purchase order to the delivery date
    c. Compute the cost of the purchase order item
    d. Display the report which projects expected payments by date

    We are having a subcontracting scenario where we are creating a Work order from PO but getting the below error.
    Error - "No master data assigned to partners-locations-product combination."
    Done all the setting mentioned in the below thread but the error still persist.

    First thing, all system message i have set error, M7 061 Document does not contain any items
    M7 264 Qty and / or "delivery completed" ind. or final issue ind. are missing.
    Scenario :
    PO not yet tick delivery completed (open quantity), when we doing MIGO w/ zero qty and set delivery completed indicator to --> 2 Set, a document GR is posted w/ zero quantity.
    Also when PO already tick delivery completed, but when MIGO and set delivery completed indicator to --> 3 Do not set, a document GR is posted w/ zero quantity.
    Is this a way that SAP provide to tick delivery completed after PO final release w/ status not changeable so we do not need to cancel release or something like a bug/backdoor?
