Changing some JSP pregenerated items

Hi Folks,
Ive generated a JSP BC application, and as you know, im in the process of terminating it with the help of all of you.
The problems i have now are the following:
- How do I change/remove the name of the view object that appears in the navigation bar ?
- How do I change the text in the "Cancel" Button in the Insert/Edit JSP forms ?
- How can I obtain a "map" or some guidelines to the CSS used (cabo_styles), because im suffering to change colors and appearance in my forms, testing black and white in all the color values...
- How do i change the tips texts in the navigation bar for ALL elements in it ?

Laura, i can see you misunderstood my questions, let4s explain them for you :
- i4m using the default Oracle style of Application, that with a JSTab container that let the user see the data in the view objects in two ways : single record or RowSetBrowser.
1) in this style, the navigator bar used to operate the view (insert, edit, find, delete and browse) is created in the "_top" corresponding jsp4s and in this navigator bar "mystically" the name of the current View Object is shown, i say mystically because i couldn4t found where it was defined. What do I have to change in my contents.jsp for it to show the names i want (if i change the links, i suppose it wont work anymore...), or perhaps i can omit this ?
2)in this style the cancel button is "mystically" created, because i couldnt found out where it was defined too. So, i cant change... where it is created ?
3)i AM editing the style, the real problem is that there is no clear association between what4s defined there and what each definition really changes in the appearance (for example, what is "COLOR2", what do the "COLOR2" definition really defines ????)
I really need to know how the jsp understands this, cos im in the try-and-try method of changing each one of the values to discover what it really means... this is boring, takes too much time...

I can't replace 3.16 with 4.0 because i "don't have authority" to change some of the items.

Changing Search JSPs within Commerce Server

          I am currently evaluating the Commerce Server and Personalisation Server 3.5 and
          I am trying to change the search.jsp within the Commerce server to include drop
          down lists for a more presentable search engine.
          I have tried to change the search.jsp to include drop down lists but I am running
          into problems when giving the drop down lists a name because the previous textfield
          that was there had a field dynamically named HttpRequestConstants.CATALOG_SEACH_STRING
          which is one of the HttpRequestConstants constant variables that holds the search
          criteria.
          How can I therefor transfer the selected item within the drop down lists to the
          HttpRequestConstants.CATALOG_SEACH_STRING?

Issue with PO change output - Service line items

Hi All,
This is issue with PO change output. We have PO with line item 10, 20 and item 10 has 4 service line items. PO is approved and initial print out is taken.
Some one goes and makes changes to 1st service line items of PO line item 10.
A change output gets triggered. When this output is printed, it prints line item 10 details. This is standard functionality as this item is changed. But its printing all the service line items for this PO line item. Consider a case where there are 3000 service lines for a PO item. If I add 1 service item to this PO line item, the change form prints 3001 services for that line item. There were no changes done to first 3000 service line items.
Currently PO change form takes care of changes at PO line item but it does not take care of changes at service line item level.
Is there any setting that needs to be done for this so that it only considers the changes at Service line item level also.

If you're using a standard form, send a message to SAP. Otherwise make a change in the form.

Sales Order creation/ change date for the items

I have a unique scenario and i need to get a Report for this
A sales order is created for 4 line items.
Out of these , for 2 line items a delivery is created. I need the sales order creation date and time for these 2 items in a custom report
Now the other 2 items go in to some kind of block- Now these are released by going in the sales order VA02 and after releasing the delivery is created. Again for these two items , i need the sales order change date as after a user goes and changes the sales order to remove the block only then delivery is created for these two items
Also another scenario is the 2 line items go for back order and when we get stock at tht time system confirms the stock and then the delivery is created for these. So also for this when this change occured i need to get the date for these 2 line items
Can any one please suggest how to get this data from the scenarios?
I dont want to get the date when the delivery is created as i can get tht from the LIKP table. I need the sales order create and change dates for these.

You may be aware, any changes to a document will be recorded in CDHDR (for header changes) and CDPOS (for item changes). You can explore these two tables.

Last line item gets changed to first line item for cs01

I hardly can't believe that. There must be an mistake by your own in the smartform itself. Would you please share some screens or better, the smartform-XML itself. You can pass out everything else and just share the table and a dataset to try this.
I'm pretty sure that there is something wrong with the settings or even the loop itself. I never faced a problem like that or even heared about such things.
I would love to have a look inside.
Before you share it, create a new one with just the table inside and try it with the same data. Perhaps it is just of to much folders or something like that, so the generating comes in trouble.

How to change the text of item's displaying in the folowing ALV.

Hi Experts,
I want to change the text of item's displaying in the folowing ALV.
Go to ME23N->Click 'Messages'->Click 'Further Data' -> Click 'Displ.Originals'.
Here one small ALV grid is appearing.
Currently it is showing same name's under the 'Title' column of that ALV. My requirement is to change the text coming under the column 'Title' in that display.
Can any one throw some light in the issue.

i had similar kind of requirement ,while attaching the supporting documents to FI document , i need to update title field with File name , so i used EP and BADI to do so.

I keep getting the error message "The operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items."

When I try and move an application to my application folder from the installer and when I try to empty the trash, I get the error message, "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items." This has only been an issue since I upgraded to Lion. I'm using a July '07 white Macbook 2.16 Intel Core 2 Duo. In my trash I only have an older version of a software that I updated (Divy). The software I'm trying to install is Angry Birds Rio.

Always use the same websites you are having problems with so you can monitor the changes.

Try logging in to the guest account as well to see if you have the same problems there, it might be a logging in issue.

I have customized the change rules for Line item.
Still the system not allowing to make changes to that particular field? Can any one tell me, whats the reason for the same.
Following Field is made as changeable for the line item.

The above field is available in More data Tab or additional data tab while making entry or display of document.

That i know, but trading partner was not entered in the GL Master data. Infact some one wrongly entered Trading partner in Customer master and during bank posting system automatically picked Trading partner.
When thye r trying to clear open items for that GL account , because of that assignment system is not allowing to clear those line item.
If i can remove that trading partner from document, my problem will be solved.
Can any one guide me..or if u need more info please let me know.

While executing t.code FBL3N,the vendor code is not coming against some Assignment line items with the GL A/C4607000, some line items it is coming.
The GL A/c 4607000 is GR/IR clearing a/c.
Please let us know why this situation is happeing at the time of FBL3N.

By activating the special fields you can the vendor number, but use the new reprot called "FAGLL03 - Display/Change Items (New) ".
First go to SPRO> Financial Accounting (New)> General Ledger Accounting (New)--> Master Data > G/L Accounts>Line Items --> Define Special Fields for Line Item Display
Click on New Entries -
Table - BSEG - Field - LIFNR
Save. Now execute the report - FAGLL03 - Display/Change Items (New)
Give the gl account number and execute.
After getting the line items list from menu select --Settings --> Special Fields --> Click on New Entries --> Enter Table BSEG, Field Name LIFNR.
After this come back and execute again. It will give you the vendor number.

I think the name you have used is not starting with "Z" or "Y", that is the reason systems is saying that it can be created in SAP Package only...generally your technical team would have already created some "Z" package for their developments.
Please use the name of the transaction variant starting with "Z" and also assign to a relevant "Z*" package... work with your abap person in this regard. This will not affect anything as just creating a variant cannot be used till it is activated using the same transaction.

Change Account to Open Item Managed

Hi All
I need to change some GL accounts that are not open item managed to open item managed...
However, all these accounts have balances in them and wouldnt let me change it...
And there is no way the customer will clear these balances... so is there any possibility for me to change the master data for these GL Accounts?
Will using the &sap_edit function in SE16n for table SKB1 be the correct way to go about it?

Could you brief me about the issue or correct if I am wrong:
1) GL Account managed as non-open item amanegement.
2) you want to manage as OIM.
In this situation.
1) Make the GL Balance ZERO by transfering GL transcation to another account..
2) Switch on GL as OIM.
3) Retransfer transcations
What ever transctions you are transfering now, may be cleared through F-31.
