this may seem like an odd question.
i would like to find out how to change the logout and shutdown messages on 10.3 and 10.4 machines.

Yes naming the encoding qualities - leads me wrong
a. iDVD only cares for duration
b. Duration = Movie time + Menu time (some menu needs up to 15 min or more)
c.iDVD 08 & 09 has three levels of qualities.
iDVD 6 has the two last ones
• Professional Quality *(movies + menu up to 120 min.)* - BEST
• Best Performances *(movies + menu less than 60 min.)* - High quality on final DVD
• High Quality (in iDVD08 or 09) / Best Quality (in iDVD6) *(movies + menu up to 120 min.)* - slightly lower quality than above

HT3529 New 7.0 version update changes the way text messages are presented. In the new version, I cannot figure out how to delete individual texts. I can delete entire strings of messages, but I want to delete old texts, but keep the recent texts

The new version of the software for my iPhone 4 changed the way text messages are managed.
I can no longer delete individual texts from a text "conversation." I also have not figured out how to forward texts, which I was able to do in the prior version.
Anyone know a way to edit out individual messages without losing the entire string?

When you have the conversation open, if you tap & hold on a message bubble, you should get a new menu pop-up. It should have 2 options "Copy" and "More..." If you select the "More..." option it will then let you select one or more message bubbles and delete the selected ones by hitting the trach can icon in the lower left corner. As for forwarding, you probably just select the "Copy" option, then paste the contents into a new message...

How to change the "n/a" message when stock level unavailable

When and if a product is not inventory controlled or the in stock quantity is unknown, the "In Stock" tag on the product page will read "n/a".
How do I change the "n/a" message? Customer think that stock is unavailable but I want to replace the "n/a" message with "Available".

This isn't what I was asking.
"N/A" is shown when a product has no inventory listed which is different than being "out of stock". This is when a product has not been inventory controlled. In other words, the product's inventory has not been controlled by the system.

5500-ac change the logging level from info to warnings

We have 4 Cisco Systems AIR-PWR-5500-AC’s in our network with logging set to default of informational. This level of logging generates a lot of noise. I need to change the logging level from info to warnings, but cannot do so until I have a table that shows what messages will be excluded if I make this change.

Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password. You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in. hope this helps.

I've just installed mountain lion on my macbook pro. I cannot open preview and it is also stalling the log out sequence? How can I solve this

I've just installed Mountain Lion on my Macbook pro and cannot now open Preview. I've partly solved the reading of PDF documents by installing Adobe Reader, but Preview is also stalling the log out process. Any suggestions how I might solve this annoying trait would be most appreciated. Many thanks.

After installing the update to version 9 of Firefox, I can access some items on my toolbar. The log out button on my GMail can no longer be accessed, what's wrong.

None of the toolbar items, on the log out row, on my gmail account are active anymore. I also had this problem with my discover account, I couldn't use the log out button there either. When I called Discover, they told me their site was not yet updated for for version 9 of Firefox.

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

Right click and select Open front panel >> Convert.
Change the vi as you need. then you can save it as a normal sub-vi.
If you have Labview 8.6, maybe (i am not sure) you can edit the express vi. Express vis are supported in 8.6

I would like to know, which consequences do I have, changing the Log mode to the "Owerwrite mode is ON".
Is that comparable with Oracle's archive mode?
What should I note proccessing so (e.g. to make back up)
I don't use the system in productive mode and would like to save/spare free space on my server....

I am not sure I understand your question fully. Are you referring to SC2.2?
The man pages of the sun cluster commands is included in the product. You may want to look into those for any command line options.
Set your MANPATH environment variable to /opt/SUNWcluster/man.

I already set the image to one of the images I have in my workspace but I still getting the text (Logout). currently I have the following for the image attributes
image: #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#Log-Out-32x32.png
I tried to remove the icon subtext but then I got nothing on the screen.

ULOGPFX is an environment variable. Your client executable can set an environment variable as part of a startup script,
it can be included in a file used by the client that is defined with WSENVFILE environment variable, it can be read in
a file by the client executable after startup using the tuxreadenv() API, it can be set by the client using the tuxputenv() API,
the profile for the user executing the client can have an environment variable defined, or the windows registry can include
a definition for the environment variable(there is also an BEA applet on Windows for administration but I think not on client only installs).
WSNADDR is an environment variable that defines the address of the workstation listener that the client will connect to.
Look for where your client defines WSNADDR and add, or modify,the ULOGPFX definition to meet your needs.

The Huntress is correct, I have missed that you have an iPhone 3G
Usually iTunes will tell you in that case, that iOS 4.2.1 the newest version for your phone.
If you don't have an iPhone 3G, network connections timing out can be a security software problem:
