ChaRM: Partner function types

Hi!
I would like to set up ChaRM with Service Desk in Solman. One of the prerequisite is to create business partners.
The questions:
which partner function will be used within ChaRM?
which partner function types will be used within ChaRM?
what is the assignement of ChaRM-role (requester, tester) to partner function  type/partner function?
Should the transactions/tables such  "CRMC_PARTNER_FCT", "CRMC_PARTNER_PFT"  be customized?

Hi,
You need to define partner and then partner determination procedure. Then assign it to transaction type SDCR.Partner function are such as creator,developer,change manager,developer,tester,change advisory board etc.

    Hi Grace,
    First check :
    1- transaction : CRM_OM_BP_INTEGRATE
    select org structure where your user is and check that you have green lights (no missing address....)
    2- Run transaction USERS_GEN
    Select check user
    Is everything correct or does the user need to be repaired ?

  • No address found for partner function type : 0002 and 0013

    Hi Experts,
    I have SRM PO and it is partially confirmed ,requester and Goods receipant has left the organisation, now another user trying to post the confirmation, getting the error :
    No address found for partner function type : 0002
    No address found for partner function type : 0013
    We understood that requester and Goods receipant  has left the organisation and this user is not there in organisation structure, hence we are getting the error.
    Now we are trying to amend requester and goods receipant  in the PO with new user(alreday there in the Orgn structure) but system is not allowing to do the same.
    How can i post the confirmation now?? is ther any way to post the confirmation without amending the PO ?

    Please find the below steps
    Step1:
    Fetch the shopping baskets GUID using the table CRMD_ORDERADM_H.
    Creator of shopping basket -CREATED_BY
    Shopping basket no.: OBJECT_ID
    Creation date: CREATED_AT
    Fetch the shopping baskets GUID.
    Step 2
    Fetch the GUID of Alternative goods recipient:New User who would be doing Goods Receipt
    Use the Function Module'HR_OBJECTBUPA_GETBUPA'
    Use function module BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL input the shopping basket and GUID.
    Fetch E_PARTNER-PARTNER_GUID's of Partner type 00000016 and 00000020.
    Go to CRMD_PARTNER table for the above GUIDs replace the PARTNER_NO for 16 and 20
    with PARTNER GUID of the alternative goods recipient.

  • Error: No address found for partner function type Ship-To Address

    Hi All,
    I am working in SRM 5.0(patch level1) and for PDP scenario
    When I am creating service PR in R/3 with two header items and each header item has only one below line item (service item), then it transfer in SRM properly. But if I am maintaning more than one below line item for each header item it does not transfer in SRM. In SLG1 error is coming as "No address found for partner function type Ship-To Address".
    Please suggest some solution.

    Hi,
    Could anybody suggest me the issue as in below?
    When I would like to change a PO through process PO (in SRM) I have received an error as "No address found for partner function type 0025". But the business partner looks fine in case of address matter. Only the things are missing are
    PO Box address

    Postal code
    Company postal co

    Hi Pijush,
    I have seen this error many times, the user was probably deleted from the SRM system and so no subsequent actions can be taken on open documents linked to this user.
    The SRM system behaves like this
    In Standalone scenario:
    SRM system is standalone system not connected with HR system
    If we try to delete the user locally the system will check is there any
    open documents if any open document exists
    then the system won't allow to delete the
    users which inturn won't delete the associated business partner
    relationship.
    So the user as well as the business partner relationship (BUT050 ,
    BUT052) won't be deleted.
    SRM with HR Replication scenario:
    All the users are maintained in HR system and the HR system is the
    leading system.
    If the employee leaves the organisation, from HR side the requirement is
    that the user has to
    be deleted immediately. So here we can't check whether the user has open
    documents in child system (i.e, SRM system), even if
    we check and block the deletion of user in HR,  from HR side this is not
    acceptable from HR the user should be removed immediately. If the user
    is deleted or delimited in HR side when the user is replicated to SRM
    system the BP relationship will be deleted this is the reason that the
    open documents could not be processed.
    So the please follow either of these options,
    1. Before deleting a user from HR make sure that all the open documents
    are completed or assigned to some other
    active requestor / recipient.
    2.  All the open documents associated to the deleted business partner or
    user should be archived.
    3.  If the user is deleted in HR before closing the documents and still
    want to access the open documents of the deleted user / Business Partner
    they can use the Z Report which will replace the deleted Business
    Partner with active business partner.
    I have attached the report Z_change_pguid_002_new.txt please use
    this report to replace the deleted Business partner with the active
    business partner.

    Anand: The partners funtions used depends on which partner determinations is assigned to the CHARM transaction type ( standard for CHARM transaction type is SDCR and the standard partner determination procedure is SDCR0001 ) and so all the partner funtions assigned to the above partner determination procedure will be used in CHARM.....
    So can also create you own partner functions and assign it the some partner determinations procedure and then finally assign that partner determination procedure to the relevant transation type....
    Make sure that you dont change any standard partner determination procedure, just make a copy of it and then include the partner functions u desire in that Z partner determination procedure....and then assign this partner determintion proc to trans type SDCR..

    All the partner function included in that partner determination proc will be used....

    Anand: Refer SPRO path Solman-> Scenario specific settings->Service desk->Partner determination Proc-> Define partner funtions.. Just go thru it and scroll down to find out SDCR0001, SDCR0002 and so on...
    Basically CHARM role is mapped with this partner function types mentioned as above ...

    Basically the SPRO path mentioned above refer the same tables......They can be customized....only if the requirements demands....

  • Partner function not getting determined automatically in delivery

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to determine custom partner function in delivery related to STO. I have maintained the below settings.
    1. Created new partner function (type KU) & extended to account groups.
    2. Maintained the partner function in the delivery partner determination procedure.
    3. Defined partner function in ship to party
    Now the new partner function is not getting determined automatically.

  • Rule Modeler, Order Routing -  Partner function to update ?

    Hi,
    I have configured order routing in rule modeler based on categories to determine the org unit to which the order should get routed too.
    On execution, the partner function 'SLFN0003 - Support Team' gets changed to the BP for the org unit.
    My question is - I cannot find any link between Order routing and Partner function SLFN0003 - How does the system know that it needs to update this partner fucntion only ?
    If I create my own Z Parnter function, how can I get the order routing to change this partner function type ?
    Any help will be appriciated.

    Solution: Problem solved. Error was the name of the attribute. It has to be POST_CODE1_IB
    and not ZPOST_CODE1_IB.

  • Issue with Shopping Cart ... No Address Found For Partner Function etc.

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing an issue in EBP.
    Using SRM 5.0 classic scenario.
    While creating a shopping cart we are experiencing the following ERROR: "error in system, shopping cart cannot be processed any further."
    The details of errors are as below:
    No data found for contact person XXX. inform System Administration (XXX is the BP ID of the user)
    No address found for partner function type Goods Recipient
    No address found for partner function type Requestor
    Please help me in overcoming the issue.

    I have already checked that the BP number is present.
    However using bbp_bp_om_integrate i got the errors:
    using user ID from su01:  I got a red signal  in Object Existence / Consistency with error
    "Business Partner for user XXX is missing or containing errors"
    using CP & BP : I got a red signal in Address consistency & following errors:
    "Error determining address for employee XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" & "Address for person (BP) XXX missing"
    Please help

    Dear pavan,
    If am not wrong you already created IBASE component for all the 7 components
    Now create BP using BP tcode  of organization & sold to party type of satellite system name using external naming system.
    And in IB52 just assign using goto partner to these sold to party for e.g.
    system A client 500.......................create a BP of name System A of sold to party with BP tcode
    and
    Goto IB52 select the component and assign the System A to sold to party.

  • What is the need of creating partner functions for sales document type.

    Hi SAP (SD-GURUS),
    Actually we create partner functions  before creating customer ex: sold to party, ship to party, bill to party, and payer.
    These partner functions are going to be copied into sales order while processing sales order.
    Again what is the need of creating partner functions for sales document type.

    There are some Partners you could enter at Sales ORder Level. E.g. Sales Person, Employee Responsible, Forwarding Agent, Broker, etc.
    Thus these partner Determination need to be carried out at Sales Order Level & not at Customer Master level.
    So we have to configure partner Determination for various levels e.g. Customer Master, Sales Order, Delivery level etc...

    The partner types allow us to distinguish between different business partners such as customer, vendor, employee etc and the partner functions represent the functionality or role each partner plays within the business transaction.
    For example under the partner type Customer, you will find - Sold to party, Ship to party, Bill to party, Payer.
    The business partners that exist in the market place are represented with a partner type in the R/3 system. Examples of business partners are customer, vendor, employee and contact person.
    The following partner types are defined in the partner processing for the sales & distribution module –
    a.     AP – contact person (06)
    b.     KU – customer (07)
    c.     LI – vendor (08)
    d.     PE – employee/personnel (09)
    Assigning the partner functions in the SAP system determines the functions of particular partner in the sales process. One partner may take on several functions also.

  • Regarding finding out Partner function based on Sales Order/Output Type

    Hi All,
    <b>I have a issue in finding out Partner function[PARVW],  Message partner[PARNR], Message transmission medium[NACHA], Teletex number[TELTX], User name[USNAM], Message processed manually[MANUE], Country Key[TLAND] and some other fields all are related to NAST table.</b>
    Actually we have one script which is already working when we run from from <b>VA02/03</b> for single order.
    When we execute from <b>VA02/03</b> all <b>NAST</b> table entries are filled up and by using those entries we are fetching remaining entries and displaying them in Output.
    Now we are developing another program where we will have a selection screen with <b>Sales order, Output Type & Order Type</b> and execute the program and then we will get list of sales orders in <b>ALV list output</b> with check boxes before every record.
    Now if we select one (or) multiple records from there and click on Print Prevview button i am calling above <b>SAP Script Print Program</b> but now in that P.Program we will not have any <b>NAST</b> table entries other than Sales Order and Output Type those can be moved to [<b>NAST-OBJKY, NAST-KSCHL</b>].
    But here what about other fields in <b>NAST</b> table like <b>PARVW, PARNR, NACHA, TELTX, USNAM, MANUE, TLAND</b> etc.
    How can we get them as we are exclusively using those other <b>NAST</b> table entries in above <b>SCRIPT/Print Program</b>.
    Can anybody solve this issue!

    Check:
    A. RFC user has been assigned to Local Purchase org & local purchase group.
    B. RFC user is consistent in BBP_ATTR_CHECK.
    C. Plants have been replicated properly into SRM and have been assigned the proper GUID's.Check table BBP_LOCMAP for this.
    D. Also check the SRM RFC destinations and the SRM RFC user assigned in both the Systems.
    SAP Note might be useful. 801133 - Interface used to transfer external requirements is adjusted

    Is there any customization setting for vendor partner role & FI document type?
    When I use the partner role PI(invoice presented by), MIRO document created against the vendor defined against the partner role 'PI'. However when I defined a new partner role 'XA' - copying from the partner role PI- MIRO document not created vendor against partner role 'XA'.
