Check Condition when to create Project

Dear expert!
Now, I'm getting some issue about Checking condition when to create project.
- When I create a project with coding mask '-XXXX-00-00-00-00-000' I want company code to have value 1000. If I enter another company code then the system will display message "you have to enter company code is 1000"
Really, I don't know how i have to do.
Help me, please!

U should indicate in which node (the GET) you need to check the condition, you form should have the following interface:
FORM <formname> USING <nodename> LIKE LDBCB-LDBNODE
                       <workarea> (LIKE ...)
                       <mode>
                       <selected>.
So the code should be:
CHECK <WORKAREA>-FIELD = ............

Project Owner not mapping when using Create Project in Ideation Custom list

I have a custom ideation list in Project Online used for project proposals. When using the Create Project function in the ribbon, I select the mapping from my Project Owner people picker field to map to Project Owner ID. The Project is then created successfully,
however the Project Owner is listed as the person who clicked the Create Project button in the ribbon, not the name in the Project Owner field. This also occurs when running from SPD workflow. I know in on-premise situation this works as I expect ... is this
a bug in Project Online?

Just wanted to say that, I was able to reproduce your issue. It works as expected on-prem, but not as online. I will update once I have more info on any posisble resolution.

Check-In a new created projekt (CAF-Project)

Hi everybody,
we use NWDI and want to check-In a new created project (CAF-Projekt). we get always the following error message:
FAILED: CHECKIN on activity act_w_FPMX_failed :
The operation was aborted because: Project "fpmx.fe_cafproject": Generated code is not in sync with the model.
Regenerate the project before check-in.:operation failed at13:33:04.607
What could be the problem, is the NWDI not configured correctly?
We have no problems with other prjects like Web Dynpro...
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

DC - Create Project Fail

Hi,
For an MSS application, whenever i try to create project, its failing to create a WD project but i can see the project in Navigator. But it's working good for ESS where in when i Create Project from DC in WD Explorer.
The build is failing i guess but i have idea for what reason it's failing.
I've tried to re-import the track but still am facing the same issue.
Please help.

Strategy to create projects in OWB

Hi Fellows
We are starting using OWB and I like to know your expertise how to structure our projects in OWB
We want to use OWB for Data warehouse projects.
We have different layers in our architecture and each layer has its own schemas
for example, we have a data load layer, an integration layer, a start schema layer and a reporting layer.
Each have their own schemas.
We have development projects that many developers can work on the project.
My question comes when you do recommend to create project.
Do we create one project for all layers?
Do we create oner project for each layer(schema)?
Do we create project for every development project?
or any other criteria to consider to help us decide when we create projects.

For each development project create one collection.

Budget functionality is available against actual / commitment items, but n't against reservation of materials as there cane be reservation at projects or plant level. Morever there is no such user exit in CJ20N.
If you can make developments of reservation agsinst network as committments items then budget functionality may work in that case.

So, if you see the above message, its a feature that is missing. How many servers do you have in the farm? Do you have a separate project application service server?
In that case you will have to copy the feature under "14\TEMPLATE\FEATURES" features folder from WFE to application server also. This is because when creating a project workspace, PSI will refer to this feature on application
server and since it is not present in application server, it fails creating the site.

Create Project trough enterprise project type with templates does not send notification to team member(email) when published

Hi All,
I encountered this issue in my client site when implementing project server 2013.
At First I thought that this issue occurred intermittently , sometimes project creation (create project from PWA- assign resources with team member -save and publish) trigger email notification to the assigned team member and sometimes not. (new task notification)
I have checked with our infrastructure team and verify that I use the right SMTP server address and port , and cross check with them for their side configuration (exchange) , we did not find anything wrong on both settings.
and then we found out that the failed notification email comes from project creation using defined project templates in an enterprise project type, even from a project that consist of template schedule , we added new task on that project and assign a team
member on that task that resulted with notification sent to the team member, but not with task that comes from templates.
can someone help us on this issue, or is there any CU on this?

Yes we did create the template from project professional and as far as i know,
the only way to create template is just to save it, no option to publish the template.
When you create a new project from template for some of the task you remove the resources then assign resource to those tasks then save and publish the project.
<--there are no resources assigned from the template, when i assign resources (new assignment) this will not trigger notification
Or create a new task under summary task assign resource then save and publish the task you notification sent to the resource means it is working.
<--new task (not from template ) also trigger the notification

Problem when Creating Project (Composite Application Services) in NWDS

I've seen a few posts regarding this but I don't feel as if any real solution was given.
I just installed Netweaver Developer Studio (7.0.15) with the current JDK/JRE (1.6.0_07). When trying to create a new Composite Application Services project within the Studio, using the new project wizard, I get an error: Problem when Creating Project.
I get the EJB Module and Dictionary to create within my navigator with no problems, however, during the creation of the metadata, the error occurs. I do have the metadata folder appear within the navigator, but nothing in it. None of the other three items are created.
I have tried the attempt at deleting the metadata folder within my workspace directory and trying again but the same exact result occurs.
Is there any other solution out there for this problem besides attempting to find older versions of NWDS, etc. that are more "stable"?

Very simple but effective solution.
I had tried uninstalling / re-installing NWDS with no effect but uninstalling / re-installing NWDS AND all java related products on my machine did work.
Note: For anyone else with this issue in the future. I installed the Java SDK / JRE 1.4.2_18 with NWDS 7.0.15 in case this is also a possible issue with versions.

hey guys, so this is the second time this has happened, im not sure what i did the first time to fix the error but when i create a new project and create a textinput box in there, i get the following error,
"SecurityError: Error #2148: SWF file file:///Users/tkanagala/web projects/flex 4/podcast/bin-debug/podcast.swf cannot access local resource file:///Users/tkanagala/web%20projects/flex%204/podcast/bin-debug/textLayout_1.0.0.595.sw f. Only local-with-filesystem and trusted local SWF files may access local resources."
any ideas why??

I get the same error. This isn't something you should have to update a policy file for - it seems like a flash builder error in the way it generates the library swf. The steps I took were:
- create a new application
- type some basic demo app code or paste in code. In my situation I pasted in some charting examples from the docs (appended to the end)
- click "run"
- the error appears:

When we create a contract in which tables conditions are updated.

When we create a contract using ME31K & matains conditions in which table conditions are updated.
Please guide in which table i'll find all prices.
In EKKO also no document condition is generated.

When I send project to iTunes the volume is too low. I have auto normalize checked.

When I save project to itunes the volume is too low on the entire project. I have auto normalize checked. I have been sure to reduce the volumes below the red clipping dots. This includes the master volume. It is fine in GB, but in itunes I need to increase the volume slider to max to bring it up to what I was hearing in GB. Is sthere something else I should do to reproduce more volume when I share a project to itunes? Thank you.

DId you try a comparioson when exporting the same song with and without "Auto Normaize".
Technically there is the possibility that "Auto Normilize" will reduce the overall level of your final mix. If there is a short spike above 0dB that you don't hear as an audible pop and GarageBand brings down the overall level to that that spike to 0dBFS, and by doing so, lowering that level of your mix by that amount.

This happens sometimes if you are using third party library which IE does not support. Change the default browser of Visual Studio to Google Chrome and try.
