Checkbox position in a list through an itemrenderer

Hi all,
I did make some search and couldn't find anything helpful but please don't hesitate to send me somewhere else if this topic has already been discussed.
Ok,
I created a list and an itemRenderer. it contains a checkbox and everything goes fine except for two things :
Position : I can't success in aligning or centering teh checkbox regarding to the list row.
Label: I can't set any even with dummy text.
How can I get the checkbox well aligned ?
cb.mxml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<mx:HBox xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" width="100" height="20">
    <mx:CheckBox label="a" fontSize="9" />
</mx:HBox>
main.mxml
<mx:TileList columnCount="1" width="100" height="20" dataProvider="{pdfPresetsNameArrayCollection}" itemRenderer="cb" rowHeight="30" dragMoveEnabled="true" dragEnabled="true" dropEnabled="true" dragDrop="handleReorder(event)"  ></mx:TileList>
Here is what I get as a result :
I would like to get the checkbox nicely centered but any of the properties I try to set from x/y to verticalCenter is helpless.
Thanks in advance for any inputs.
Loic

Hi and thx for your answer,
I did try this one without success. In fact a friend of mine tried on his won with my file and checkboxes are well placed. As for its swf file, when I launch it on my computer, checkboxes do appear fine.
But when I do on my own and compile, it keeps on displaying checkboxes uncorrectly.
Don't know whatr's wrong :S
Thx anyway,
Loic

  • How to position a select list in the create region

    Hello,
    I would like to position a select list item in the create region, I think we can do that somehow using javascript but I don't have an idea how to make it.
    Thanks in advance!

    In this example you can see how to position the elements:
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=31517:242
    You don't need javascript for that. The element attributes are enough for that.

    You can't delete it.  Look on all your screens and inside all your folders.  If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.  This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so.

  • Getting a lists selected item itemRenderer's properties

    Is there a way to get a Spark List's selectedItem itemRenderer's contentToGlobal x and y and it's height values?
    Thanks,
    John

    Hello Shongrunden;
    Thanks again for your help, if you don't mind me asking a couple of more questions...
    - With a scrollable Spark List, if a selected item is partially in view, is there a method to get just the visible height of the itemRenderer?
    - Also, on my custom paged List component, with a custom itemRenderer and useVirtualLayout = true, after the list data is retrieved a resultHandler is called, in this I then call your getRendererCoordinates function.  I also call  getRendererCoordinates() in a listChangeHandler.
    After the resultHandler calls getRendererCoordinates, even though the dataGroup is showing the proper number of elements, and I set the list.selectedIndex to 0, the renderer variable created in;
    var renderer:IVisualElement = list.dataGroup.getElementAt(list.selectedIndex);
    the renderer var returns null on the initial display called from the resultHandler, but ... it works perfect on on the listChangeHandler and subsequent page displays.  So it seems the renderer is not finished being drawn when getRendererCoordinates is being called from the resultHandler, but subsequent page displays work probably because the renderer has already been drawn.  I've tried callLater(getRendererCoordinates) but since nothing else is going on it won't trigger.  I did not see an event that can be dispatched from IVisualElement after it is completely drawn that I can use to call getRendererCoordinates.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks again for your help and time,
    John

  • Add two attachment field in custom list through sharepoint designer 2013

    Hi all,
    I want to add two attachment columns to the SharePoint 2013 custom list through SharePoint Designer 2013 (not using ribbon attachment option) only . I managed to attach single attachment column to the attachment field. But I am not able to create second
    field for attachment.
    for example, one column for attaching address proof and second column for identity proof.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Out of the box this simply isn't going to be possible the way you seem to want it. The attachment field does allow for multiple attachment, but I can see why you'd potentially want these separated out.
    Alternative:
    You could instead create a link field for each. Users load the documents into a document library and then copy the URL to paste into the form. If you potentially need multiple attachments for each, you can use an InfoPath form and a repeating table.

  • Not able to get ADF select many checkbox working with binding lists

    Hi,
    I have 2binding lists: list A that holds the selected choices and list B for all the choices. When the user opens the page, a list of checkbox should be displayed all the choices from list B with the saved ones pre-checked from list A. When the user changes the selection, the binding list A should be updated.
    I tried to use ADF select many checkbox but could not get it working for this.
    There are 2 big issues:
    1, can get all the choices from binding list B displayed but not able to pre-check the ones from list A.
    2, when the selection changed, not able to updated list A with the new choices
    I find some sample but it is talking about saving the selected choices into the managed bean not into binding object and using valueChangeListener. How to implement this in ADF? Please help.
    Thanks,
    Helen

    Helen,
    I don't think you can do this with a select many checkbox. This component works on one list whereas you want to handle two. You may archive this if you use a managed bean and handle all the list manipulation in java.
    Your use case more looks like a select many shuffle (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18196_01/11.1.2.0.0/lovs.html).

  • How to put checkboxes in a Tree list

    Hi All,
    I have generated a tree structure in my list from a table. The requirement is I have to put checkboxes for the leaves(bottom most level) of the tree. Now the user will be selecting required leaves and thus my logic will continue.
    Can anyone tell me how can i put checkboxes for all the leaves?
    Also, The number of leaves is in thousands. To keep that many check boxes, I have to create that many number of variables, which can be done dynamically.
    So, how to put check boxes and how to create those variables dynamically? How can i meet my requirement?
    Plz guide me in this issue.

    hi,
    i want to create excel sheet having fixed(pre defined) column width through internal table , in program i m using FM 'DOWNLOAD' and passing internal table and getting excel list but how to get fixed column width. also how to display leading zero in excel
    pls help .
    regards,
    Sudhir Ghag.
    SAP ABAP Consultant.

    Hi Sudhir,
    You have to use OLE for this.
    Using OLE you can set properties of column and sheet like border,width,font etc.
    an also you can format cells(For leading zeros).
    Search SCN for OLE exmples, you will get a lot.

  • Return the cursor to original position in ABAP List

    There is an interactive List report, clicking on the lines in the main report leads to a secondary report and clicking on the line in secondary report gives a pop up screen. Depnding upon the selection made in pop up screen the data in the seconary report is changed and it again displays the secondary report with the changes but now the cursor is at the line 1 of the seconary report.
    I am unable to set the cursor to the original position in the seconary screen from where the pop up screen was called.
    I have tried to position the curosr using SET CURSOR but it does not help are there any other techniques for setting the curosr or what could have gone in my report which is not allowing me to position the curosr correctly.

    HI Mike
    Thanks for the reply. When I apply the logic to reposition the cursor in the scale range event only one cursor is moving to the zoomed in position. The other cursor remains out of  graph scale. I tried to repeat the same logc but it didn't work.  Could you please tell me how to get the 2nd cursor also in to the scale range. Sorry i'm fairly new to labview. I have attached the pic of what I tried.  Thankyou in advance
    Regards
