Checkin document by java class

Hi,
I am trying to checkin a content by a custom java class, and i got some problem when defining the security group to "Projects" by m_binder.putlocal("dSecurityGroup", "Projects"), it is still "Public" after checked in.
Does anyone know the reasons?
Thanks.

Yes, i defined title, type, author, security group, primary file, then execute the "CHECKIN_NEW_SUB" service, the item can be checked in but i cant set the security group to Projects.

  • Get error when unzipping document using Java Class

    I am using an applet to unzip a compressed docuement. The document is compressed by a Java Rich client into a database and is going to be opened by a web application. So in order to decompress we are using an applet with the same unzip code. The rich client is working fine, but the applet is giving an error. Can anyone tell me what the following error means?? I have found no documentation on it and it is not giving me any real information.
    java.util.zip.DataFormatException: oversubscribed dynamic bit lengths tree
    I am using the Inflater class to unzip the doc.
    thanks,

    Can you be any more specifc about what you are doing?
    It may be a security issue as you are running the code in an applet.
    The other thing to look into would be the content type you are using to send the zipped data over http. When writing the zipped object into the HttpServletResponse on the server you must call
    setContentType("application/zip");
    For a quickish example see
    http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Networking/Webserver/WebServercode.html
    This sets the content type based on the file to be returned extension.
    Hope this is helpful.

  • Generic Populating the XML document using Java Class Generator and Reflection

    I am looking for a generic source code in order to convert the data parsed from any tabular text form ( tab delimited for example that maps certain XML Schema created form Database Schema for Oracle.
    I know it is possible to generate XML DTD or XSD from Oracle database table schema by XSU utility from XDK. And also it is possible to create Java source files from an XML DTD or XSD by using XML Clas Generator.
    I believe there must be some generic code that parses tabular text data and converts them to XML format using above mentioned generated Java source files and may be Java reflection mechanism.
    If anyone has any tool or knows any free ware that helps me, I would like to know about it, and I would really appreciate it.

    1. Read the XML file into a DMO object, walk the DOM to find the list, insert your new entry as a child, write the DOM back to a file.
    2. If the XML is not in a file, but in a string, then you can do the same with string input and output.

  • WSDL to java class

    HI!
    I'd like to generate java stub classes by using the WSDL document.
    After parsing the WSDL document, a java class with all available method calls should be created.
    With IBM WebService Development Kit this is possible with the Apache Axis project wsdl4java.
    Does someone know another way to do this, maybe with SUN webservice toolkit?
    mfg
    MK

    Thanks for these tips.
    The problem with using such functionallity from JBuilder or IBM WebService Toolkit is, that i'd like built this proxies within my own program.
    In my program you should be able to input the location of the WSDL file, receive it and the user can work with the proxy classes.
    I need this functionallity in my own program without the help from any IDE.
    The Apache Axis project offers a tool that do this, and i can use it, if I start it within a new process.
    Helpful would be an API that offers me the functions, so that i can do this by calling some functions in my own program....
    Thanks

  • Where can I download the api's of java classes ?

    I'd like to download all the api's of java classes. I only found a lot of pages, but i don't like to download one after other for a very long time.
    Where I can find a complete document of java classes api in a single document?
    When I say api of java classes I mean the name of all java classes , it's methods, atributes, what the class does, and so on...
    For the JAVA 1.5.0 of course...
    Thanks.

    Go to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp and click the Download link where it says J2SE 5.0 Documentation.

    Hi,
    Where exactly did you put your TableSorter.java?
    It should be in src\packages\<your package foleders>\util
    Please also don't forget to add your TableSorter.java in the OpenActivity which you want to check in.
    I suggest there is also another way to do this but I didn't try it:
    Create new Java Project DC
    Put your TableSorter.java there
    Add all necessary DC for build
    Create two public parts (assembly and compilation)
    And use this parts in your WD DC

  • Problem with servicegen and how to convert java classes to webservices

    I am a beginner and am trying to convert all my java code into webservices,I have
    a java class Test.java and number of other third party libraries and my own java
    files that are reffered in Test.java. I want to expose the public methods in Test.java
    as webservices.
    the serivegen part of My build.xml is as below
    <servicegen
    destEar="${APPLICATIONS}/${ear_file}"
    warName="${war_file}">
    <service
    javaClassComponents="com.verizon.Test"
    targetNamespace="${namespace}"

    expandMethods="True">
    </service>
    <classpath>
    <pathelement path="${build}"/>
    <pathelement path="${java.class.path}"/>
    </classpath>
    </servicegen>
    When i run ant it complains:
    [servicegen] weblogic.xml.schema.binding.BindingException: Invalid class received:
    interface org.apache.crimson.tree.ElementFactory loaded from file:/apps/opt/crimson.jar!/org/apache/crimson/tree/ElementFactory.class.
    All classes that will be serialized or deserialized must be non-interface, non-abstract
    classes that provide a public default constructor
    I have no clue,Why is Servicegen introspecting the third party class file also?I
    just need the public methods in Test.java exposed and Test.java will just use
    the third party library.
    also,is there a way to tell servicegen to include all these java files X,Y,Z to
    the war file/ear files but expose only the public methods of X in the WSDL.
    Please help
    thanks
    Suresh

    Hi Bruce,
    Thanks very much for the insight u provided.Yes one of my public methods was returning
    a element factory.
    But let me ask my question this way:
    Is there a way to tell servicegen to take only the specified public methods in
    a class to make them as webservices?
    by default servicegen is taking all the public methods..,i workaround i found
    is to deploy the webservice manually by writing the web-services.xml to include
    only the required public methods.
    thanks

    Hi Suresh,
    Does your Test.java have a public method that returns the element
    factory of an XML document, like "public ElementFactory
    getElementFactory ();" or such?
    If so, you may want to check out the supported build-in and non-built-in
    data types:
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/webserv/assemble.html#1060696
    Concerning your last question, you can use the excludeEJBs, includeEJBs
    (in combination with the ejbJar attribute) to specify which non-built-in
    data type components should be generated. Or if you use the
    javaClassComponents then simply use a comma separated list of class
    names.
    Hope this helps,

    Need to configure a Configurable Action to get triggered for a particular action at a given checkpoint.
    Steps Followed:
    1. Created a java class implementing com.bharosa.vcrypt.tracker.dynamicactions.intf.DynamicAction, getParameters() and execute() methods were implemented in that java class.
    2. Added necessary jars from $ORACLE_IDM_HOME\oaam\cli\lib to the build classpath.
    3. Compiled and created a jar with it.
    4. Extracted the oracle.oaam.extensions.war file into a working folder.

    This thread is a bit stale but I thought it might help to clarify one point about custom jar files on UCCX.
    To properly load a custom jar:
    Upload it into the classpath directory in the document repository.
    Select it under System | Custom Classes Configuration
    Finally you need to restart the CCX Engine and the CCX Administration services.  If you have HA you need to restart them on both servers.
    Other notes:
    When referencing your class in the CCX Editor, use the fully qualified name of the class.  Lots of other classes use things like Element or Document so you need to be explicit. The editor only knows about the 20 native classes by their object names.  If you create a Document object in the editor you are really creating a com.cisco.doc.Document object.  If you loaded jdom.jar and you wanted a jdom document then you need to create an object of type org.jdom.Document.
    When compiling your custom jar files, be sure to compile for the version of Java that the CCX Engine runs.  In general UCCX 7.X and older use Java 1.4.  UCCX 8.X and higher use Java 1.6.  Several of the core Java classes had significant changes between 1.4 and 1.6. If you ran your code on UCCX 7 or earlier and now it fails in UCCX 8.X or higher, recomplile for Java 1.6 and you classes will likely work again.
    Finally, check for security violations in UCCX 8.X or higher.  Cisco has restricted some of the things you can do.  These URL's have more information:
    http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Engine
    http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Troubleshooting_Tips_for_Unified_CCX_8.0

    but it gives error cannot find symbol str.
    please help me to find right way to do this.
    i am using netbeans ide.

    Very bad approach
    1) Think if your table contains more than one NAMEs then you will get only the last one with your code.
    2) Your String is declared as local variable in the method.
    3) You have not created any object of NewClass nor called the method in JSP page. Then who will call the method to run sql?
    4) Your NewClass contains main method which will not work in web application, it's not standalone desktop application so remove main.
    Better create an ArrayList and then call the method of NewClass and then store the data into ArrayList and return the ArrayList.
    It should look like
    {code:java}
    package ris;
    import java.sql.*;
    import java.sql.Connection;
    import java.sql.DriverManager;
    import java.sql.SQLException;
    public class  NewClass{
        public static ArrayList getNames(){
            Connection con = null;
            ResultSet rs=null;
            Statement smt=null;
            ArrayList nameList = new ArrayList();
            try{
                Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver").newInstance();
                con=DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:mysql:///net","root", "anthony111");
                smt=con.createStatement();
               rs= smt.executeQuery("SELECT * FROM emp");
               while(rs.next()){
                nameList.add(rs.getString("Name"));
               return nameList;
                }catch( Exception e){
                    String msg="Exception:"+e.getMessage();
                   </code><code class="jive-code jive-java"><font>return nameList;</code><code class="jive-code jive-java">
                }finally {
          try {
            if(con != null)
              con.close();
          } catch(SQLException e) {}
          </code><code>return nameList;</code>
    <code class="jive-code jive-java">    }

  • Calling a Java Class from PL/SQL

    Hai,
    I need a technique of calling a class file and invoke its
    methods written in Java by PL/SQL for my intranet development.
    PLease let me know if you have really experienced and won.

    First, to call a Java class from PL/SQL the class needs to be
    deployed to the database. you can check the 8i documentation for
    the instructions for loading Java into the database(LoadJava).
    The document contains information on how to load the Java and
    call it from PL/SQL. The following links should help.

    Please anybody, knows the solution for this error?
    Thanks In Advance

    It seems that either there is no default printer setup or you have too many printers or no printer setup at all. Try running the following code. It should print the list of available print services.
    import java.awt.print.*;
    import javax.print.*;
    public class PrintServiceNames{
         public static void main(String args[]) throws Exception {
              PrintService[] printServices = PrinterJob.lookupPrintServices();
              int i;
              for (i = 0; i < printServices.length; i++) {
                   System.out.println("P: " + printServices);
    }From the list pick one of the print service names and set it explicitly like "printerJob.setPrintService(printServices);" and then try running the program.

    I am trying to create an instance of a custome type from the API. I have created a custom type via XML. I have associated a JSP with the custom type thru iFS manager. On submit I call some other jsp also loaded into the /ifs/webui/jsps which calls a method in the java class to create an instance of the above mentioned type. This instance needs to be created in the current directory and not in the home directory of the user. I have written a java program which when run from JDeveloper connects to the repository and creates the object, but not as a foldered object. If I load this class into custom_classes directory, I get an exception. I am attaching the code also here which does the actual processing.

    I suspect that you FolderPathResolver is not pointed at the directory you think it is. You might want to try printing out
    I_CurrentFolder.getAnyFolderPath();
    and I_CurrentFolder.getName();

  • Help Needed in Creating Java Class and Java Stored Procedures

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell how can i create Java Class, Java Source and Java Resource in Oracle Database.
    I have seen the Documents. But i couldn't able to understand it correctly.
    I will be helpful when i get some Examples for creating a Java Class, Java Source and Stored Procedures with Java with details.
    Is that possible to Create a Java class in the oracle Database itself ?.
    Where are the files located for the existing Java Class ?..
    Help Needed Please.
    Thanks,
    Murali.v

    Hi Murali,
    Heres a thread which discussed uploading java source file instead of runnable code on to the database, which might be helpful :
    Configure deployment to a database to upload the java file instead of class
    The files for the java class you created in JDev project is located in the myworks folder in jdev, eg, <jdev_home>\jdev\mywork\Application1\Project1\src\project1
    Hope this helps,
    Sunil..
