How to detect which class caused missing plug-in alert?
Hi,
I have a plug-in with the bellowing class definition, there is no any customized persist class.
resource ClassDescriptionTable(kSDKDefClassDescriptionTableResourceID)
Class
kMyActionComponentBoss,
kInvalidClass,
IID_IACTIONCOMPONENT, kMyActionComponentImpl,
IID_IPMPERSIST, kPMPersistImpl
Class
kMyDialogBoss,
kDialogBoss,
IID_IDIALOGCONTROLLER, kMyDialogControllerImpl,
IID_IOBSERVER, kMyDialogObserverImpl,
In programming guide it says "If your plug-in does not store data in documents, you do not need to take any special precautions" in section "Guidelines for handling a missing plug-in".
However now, there may be missing plug-in message for this plug-in when open a document saved with this plug-in installed.
My question is: is there any way to detect which class/implement caused the plug-in is required?
I can get some info about missing plug-in from IContentMgr, but there is no info about the detail classes.
Any idea?
Thanks,
AidyRegarding global (or not) text adornments:
An adornment is something attached to a larger entity, e.g. the various handles of page items, or additional marks within text.
Some adornments are remembered individually per addressed entity (page item adornments are probably in IPageItemAdornmentList), while others (the global text adornment IGlobalTextAdornment) are just assumed to be there for all potential targets (all wax runs) and have no persistent footprint where the ITextAdornments do.
For more details please refer to the documentation or just search the SDK.

Cisco 881 ISR IPSec VPN Tunnel does not pass traffic from the vlan.
I have a cisco 881 ISR Router with a site-to-site IPsec vpn tunnel to a mikrotik device on the other end (I inherited this from my client). The tunnel is constructed properly and is up, however traffic does not pass or get routed to the FA4 interface. I see in my packet captures that it hits the vlan1 interface (vlans are required on the L2 ports) and does not pass to the tunnel.
This is my configuration:

endWhy do you have following command on the PIX?
crypto map outside_map 40 set transform-set 165.228.x.x
Also you have this transform set on the PIX:
crypto ipsec transform-set 10.112.60.0 esp-aes-256 esp-sha-hmac
This does not match the transfor set on the router:
crypto ipsec transform-set tritest esp-3des esp-md5-hmac
Where are you using the access-list/route-map

PPTP out & in, Cisco 881
Hello,
I've searched a few forums and tried to use some of suggestions (and that's why the config is so big and probably messed up ;-)
The network is very simple: (Computers behind NAT + Windows 2008 Server with PPTP -> Cisco 881 -> DSL) and (near) everything works perfectly.
It is not posible to connect from outside to W2008 PPTP (stops at "connecting..."), what is even more interesting you can not connect from inside to any of PPTP servers located on the Internet (this stops at "veryfying user name & password")
Please check the configuration, and thanks in advance!
Greetings,
Adrian

Has anyone implemented CBWFQ with MPLS and used random-detect with any of the classes/queues? Is there anything special about random-detect that allows it to drop TCP v. UDP when doing label switching?
I'm basically referencing that no other headers are looked at when doing label switching. Therefore, when applying random-detect to a queue we can not easily have TCP seperated from all other traffic to maximize our chances of dropping a TCP packet to slow down the source. It appears that the commonly accepted method is to set the mark probability denominator high enough and make sure that the majority of your traffic is TCP.

P2P Blocking is disabled in cisco 881 W router
Hi
We are facing an issue with the communication between wireless clients in same subnet .These users are not able to ping each other in cisco 881 W wireless router.
But we can do in this router to disable this P2P blocking.Well I would use a static on the AP, but if you depending on IOS dhcp to be reliable, then maybe you need to setup a Mac reservation for the AP. It would be after to just set a static on the AP. Since you know your environment will grow, it might be better that you start setting them to static. IOS dhcp isn't 100% reliable as you have already experienced.

Executing a SQL Command in my bean class
Hello everyone,
I'm using JDeveloper 12.1.2.0.0.
I have an interest in executing a query in my bean method. I've done some research and i still got a code but it can't find the method that the method requires so i tried to added the query in my AppModule and i've added my method as a data control but how can i access it and modify it in my bean method?
The page with the code that doesn't find the method: http://jjzheng.blogspot.pt/2010/11/run-single-query-in-application-module.html
Which gives me: "Method 'getDBTransaction' not found"
The page that creates my method as a data control: http://amit-adf-work.blogspot.pt/2013/09/how-to-execute-sql-using-adf-application.html
Is any of this the right way? How can i execute a SQL Command in my bean class?
Regards,
Frederico.This is the code I use
// GET A METHOD FROM PAGEDEF AND EXECUTE IT
// get the binding containe
BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
// get an Action or MethodAction
OperationBinding method = bindings.getOperationBinding("YourMethodAction");
// if there are parameters to set...
Map paramsMap = method.getParamsMap();
paramsMap.put("param","value") ;
// execute the method
method.execute();
List errors = method.getErrors();
if (!errors.isEmpty())
// handle errors here errors is a list of exceptions!
// no error resume normal work

There was a good class->jar finder on the internet some years ago, but i don't remember the address. Try looking for that and search all the missing classes (NotDefined) and their correspondig jar files.

Hi
I have recently encountered a problem with my printer.
I went to print a document and the following error message was displayed on the printer "Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detected", and the document would not print.
I am unsure as to why this message was displayed as I had not changed anything to do with the printer.
The cartridges that were in the printer had been in the printer since October so I thought that it could be due to the cartridges needing to be replaced, therefore, I changed the black ink cartridge. Once the cartridge had been replaced the error message disappeared and the document printed.
However, I went to print another document shortly after and the error message reappeared and the document would not print.
Due to the fact that changing the black cartridge cleared the error message, I replaced the colour cartridge, however, this did not cure the error message this time.
I have followed all of the advice on the HP support pages about cleaning the contacts etc, however, it has not worked. I have also contacted the support team by Email, but have had no reply.
Does anyone know how to cure the problem, or if in fact it can be cured. I am a university student and desperately need the use of my printer, so any help would be appreciated.Hi
Yes it did get resolved in the end.
It seems that the fault came from using remanufactured or re-filled cartridges.
I had to replace both of the cartridges so that they were genuine HP cartridges.
Originally I only replaced the one that was causing the problem, but in the end I had to replace both of them. This then resolved the problem immediately.
I hope this helps.
If not, I would advise contacting the HP support team as when they finally replied to my email they were very helpful and quick to reply to queries and offer advice and suggestions. -

Hello
I'm having some trouble configuring a cisco 881. I'm building a lab where I connect 2 cisco 881 through the fe4 interface (Wan port), and then connect to each router a PC, at interface fe0 (Lan port). The idea was to establish connection and implementing a static route between the 2 routers.
As a default the 881 has dhcp enabled on VLAN1 (10.10.10.0/24). So I set the pc's to get Ip's automatically. On Router A, I changed the dhcp pool so that I had a different network (11.10.10.0/24). So I have PC1 (11.10.10.2) connected to Router A on interface fa0. Router A connects to Router B through the fe4 interfaces (WAN ports). And PC2 (10.10.10.0/24) connects to Router B on fa0 interface.
I assigned an ip address to fe4 on Router A (192.168.10.1/24) and an ip address to fe4 on Router B (192.168.10.2/24).
At last I configured the static routes on both routers.
On Router A : ip route 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.2
On Router B : ip route 11.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.1
With everything configured I tested the connections.
PC 1 to its gateway: successful
PC 1 to 192.168.10.2: successful
PC1 to the gateway of PC2(10.10.10.1/24): successful
PC 1 to PC 2: failed
PC 2 to its gateway: successful
PC 2 to 192.168.10.1: successful
PC2 to the gateway of PC1(11.10.10.1/24): successful
PC 1 to PC 2: failed
Well this is the scenario. I really don’t understand the problem. I thing I did everything right, but I simply don’t get the result. Is there an error with my configuration or is this simply not doable?
Thanks a lot.Have you checked that the firewalls are turned off? If you can ping the far side, that tells me you have a default gateway configured on the workstation and that the far side router has a route back to you. The only thing left would be firewalls need to be turned off on the workstations.
HTH,
John

Photosmart C4280 - "print cartridge missing or not detected"
keep getting that message, have turned off/onprinter, changed cartridges ?? still not responding -- can't print. thanks
Hi @Neil0401 ,
I understand that you are getting the error message that the " Print Cartridge Missing or Not Detected".
I would like to help you out with this issue today.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I have provided a document with some steps to try to see if that will resolve the issue. Some of the steps you have already tried.
An 'Incompatible Cartridge' or 'Print cartridge is missing, incorrectly installed, or not intended f...
