i found something about how to reach the maximum N speed
Factors that Affect 802.11n Throughput
There are circumstances where 802.11n devices cannot operate at their maximum capable data rates. There are various reasons why this occurs. This is the list of factors that affect 802.11n throughput:
When 802.11n clients operate in a mixed environment with 802.11a or 802.11 b/g clients, 802.11n provides a protection mechanism to interoperate with 802.11a or 802.11 b/g clients. This introduces an overhead and reduces the throughput of 802.11n devices. Maximum throughput is achieved in Greenfield mode where only 802.11n clients exist.
Factors such as Channel width, Guard Interval and Reduced IFS (RIFS) play a major role in the bandwidth. Table 1 and Table 2 show how these factors affect the bandwidth.
Clients ability to send a Block Ack instead of individual frame acknowledgements.
MCS Index configured on the WLC.
Proximity to AP—Clients closer to the AP experience higher data rates. As clients move farther away from the AP, signal strength reduces. As a result, data rate decreases steadily.
RF environment—Amount of noise and interference in the environment. The less the noise and interference, the greater the bandwidth.
Encryption/ Decryption—Encryption in general reduces the throughput due to the overhead involved in the data encryption/decryption process. However, advanced encryption standards, such as AES, can provide better throughput when compared to other encryption standards, such as TKIP and WEP.
Wired Network Infrastructure—Bandwidth of the wired infrastructure determines the speed of the traffic to and from the wired network to the wireless clients.
If using an AP1250, change the AP to H-REAP mode for a 5-10% boost.
If using an AP1140, keep the AP in local mode and enable TCP MSS on the controller. Use the config ap tcp-adjust-mss enable all 1363 command in order to enable it.
Disable RRM scanning to prevent any throughput drops when going off channel. This can yield a 1-3% improvement.
Disable RLDP to ensure the AP does not attempt to connect to rogue devices during testing.
Use a Wireless Controller 5508 as the data plane is superior to the 4404-series.
My questions are:
1. How i can i put the access point to operate only in N mode (because all my clients are N)
2.The guard interval can be modify ?
3. How to put my AP in H-REAP (can i do this without WLC?)
4. How to disable RRM
5.How to disable RLDP.
Thank you.

Phone keeps rebooting for no reason
I just replaced the battery in my Curve 8530 and it keeps rebooting for no reason at all. Any suggestions/resolutions?
Hey daVadar,
Have you tried removing and inserting the battery ? i would suggest trying to back up and complete a clean reload of the device software and test before restoring your backup: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320
Cheers.

I upgraded iphone 4s to iOS6. Now phone just keeps rebooting with the apple sign showing on a black screen. It does not completely start up.
Hi Lisa 1952,
What have you done so far to try to fix it? I've tried rebooting several times and it did not work. Tried connecting to iTines but it does not recognize the iPhone.
My other iPhone 4s restarted successfully after the updgrade but some apps don't function properly. It automatically closes while in use.
Apple please help. I know it's the weekend but I need the other iPhone to work. Can't use sim with a diffrent phone because it's a micro sim! -
Hi guys,

Macbook pro early 2011 keep crashing with no reason.
My macbook pro early2011 keep crashing with no reason. What can I do? Is this a sign of virus? It just started a few days ago.
Un-install Avast and CleanMyMac2.
Avast Un-install
You do not need to use cleaning programs. They can destroy your computer operation as they may already have done.
CleanMyMac - Uninstall
CleanMyMac2 Un-install
After un-installing, run this program to make sure you got all the pieces.

Hi All
I have my newly Lenovo x240 installed with Windows 7. Sometime, it can boot up, but sometimes it keep rebooting during the windows logo appear.
When it goes wrong, it will have the following screen.
But, if I am lucky, after several "auto-reboot", I can get into the Windows 7. But sometimes, it shows the similar screen above (without windows logo but with what my current desktop), and it then auto reboots.
This scenario is so random, I don't know how to fix it. At this stage, I don't want to use system restore, as some software is installed by my client which is not located near my office, while the reboot issue happens before those installation
Here are some event 41 details that I captured.

Could you please help?
BR
JackyHi JackyCheung,
I would strongly you to ensure you have the latest drivers and also Windows Updates installed before proceeding with anything else. Have you ran the diagnostics to see if anything hardware related maybe causing the issue?
In this scenario I highly doubt System Restore would help, was it working OK when you got it? what has changed since it was working without the issue?

I have a problem with my board K7N2 Delta, when i use 2X512mb pc3200 ram, doesn't matter which brand.... in dual channel, my pc keeps rebooting after a few seconds....some times i even cant get to windows.
i have tryed putting the ram in the different slots, but it is still the same.
booth brands of ram can run dual on other boards....
Should i change something in bios or.....?
What do i do wrong?
specs.
MSI k7n2 delta.... bios 6.0

dram frequency should be 1:1, particularly so if having problems like so
fsb = 166. Also want memory bus at 166 Mhz, means ddr = 333
see if that gets rid of reboots
I have changed frequency to 1:1.......and i am actually running in dual channel now....
my ram are running 166 with timmings 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 7
before in single channel frequency
my ram was running 200 with timming 3 - 3 - 3 - 8
let see for how long it keeps going. -
Why my mac keeps uploading with no reason in Mountain Lion
I installed Mountain Lion recently and I noticed that my mac keeps uploading without any reason. I am using iStat and outgoing is always at 100kbps. I dont have any app runing. Its already happened several times.
I am using a limited broadband so I am so worried about it.
Any suggestion?
ThanksHI
i having problem :
location servics enables (nothing in list)(no app in list which accesses location),
icloud "find my mac" enabled,
and WHEN I TRY TO FIND MY MACBOOK ON icloud or "find my iphone app" on iphone.
it says:
"ONLINE,LOCATION UNAVAILABLE"
and one more thing, when i set "time & date" to "set automactic according to my location"
then the result is "unable to determine location at this time."

Lenovo Keeps rebooting for no reason.
Product: 3000 N200 0769-ALU [change] Operating system: Windows Vista [change]Original description: Celeron M 530(1.73GHz), 512MB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 15.4in 1280x800 LCD, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVD, 802.11bg wireless, Modem, 10/100 Ethernet, Touchpad, Secure chip, 6c Li-Ion, WinVista Home Basic
That's the specs on the machine.
Long story short, I am a Network Admin redoing a laptop for a friend of mine. She brought it to me, it had a definate failed hard drive. I wasn't even able to get her data off of it, putting it into desktop as a slave etc. Just physical HD failure. Ordered her up a new HD, got her the Lenovo recovery CD's $51 (of course she didn't make a set when she had the laptop) Reinstall went perfect. No issues, unless it sits in Vista Home for like 5 minutes, the machine then reboots, then I get no OS found. Power it down, power it back up, goes right into Vista just to do the same thing again.
I almost want to think it's a bad driver, but the fact that when it power cycles like that and doesnt see an OS, then I power it off and back on and it boots fine to repeat this crap all over again, makes me think a bit differentely. I've updated the BIOS to the latest and greatest as well.
Any suggestions? I've since redone the laptop with the recovery software after GDISKing and doing a DOD wipe of the HD, just to make sure it wasn't that.Downloaded HWMonitor, 120° is the highest it has gotten, or at least what it is reporting. Although there is no dust or debris in the fan, the fan is not running.
AC or Battery power same result. I understand a laptop overheating, and rebooting. I got an Alienware that is notorious for it, but it should shut down completely, no? Not try and reboot? Also when rebooting lets say it rebooted when it overheated, it should see a boot partition after that automatic reboot. I have to fully shutdown, and turn back on to even get the OS to try and reload, which it does. Can anyone confirm Lenovo's procedure for an over-heating laptop and the actions it should take, and what temperature makes it shutdown/restart?
This girl is strapped for cash (College Student) and although it does look like she needs a fan replacement (unless IBM fans only turn on at a specific temperature) I'm just wondering at this point when it restarts instead of shuts down if the board in the past has been damaged due to over-heating issues, along with the machine not seeing the boot partition after a speculated overheating issue that may be happening when the fan doesnt power on. -
K7D Master keeps rebooting with new vid card
I had a GForce 4 ti 4600 128 MB and it ran stable for over a year. I just installed 2 different new videw cards had had the same results with both cards. When I installed the cards, they seemed to flake out and the screen would get worse and worse then the pc would reboot. I tried a GForce 5700 256 by gainward I think and now I have a GForce 5700 256 by MSI and having the same results. I just installed the latest drivers and the pic qit getting distorted but the pc will just reboot randomly after a few minutes of running. Sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 2.

This has been happening for a few months now. Sometimes it happens multiple times a day, sometimes a week or so can go by without a crash. I've experienced 3 carashes in the past 3 days now. My guess, I don't really know how to read the logs below, is that there's a GPU issue.

There was a program in place to replace the motherboard within 3 years of purchase, but you're probably outside of that. Some folks have supposedly gotten theirs changed outside of that period, so you can try.
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4088?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
What you can do to use it is download gfxcardstatus from http:gfx.io and force the graphics to Intel. That will lessen the panics at the expense of graphics speed.
You may be eligible for a depot repair, which is a flat rate of about $310. Ask at the Genius Bar. Take along a printout of your panic.
This was just posted this week. You might want to check it out. I can't vouch for it, but it may be a way to solve the problem. Please post back if you try this and it works.

Can you enable also SIP debug to check DoS attack?
If you have configured standard 5060 SIP port, try to change it and enable Restrict Source IP too: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13555
If it doesn't work try a factory reboot.

N200: rebooting with a blue screen?
Hi,
I have a Lenovo 3000 N200 model:0769 Product ID:0769AKU with Windows XP Pro SP2
Intel centrino DUO
The machine keeps rebooting with a blue screen that pops up, so I turned off automatic reboot on error
The error I am getting is
STOP: C000021a {Fatal System Error}
The windows Subsystem process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xC0000005 (ox7c9101b3 0x0052f36c). The system has been shut down.
My daughter had the laptop at college and the error started before May 2009. A Windows Genuine Advantage Notification error message would come up at that time. A yellow triangle would come up with Windows corrupt file. I also got a RUNDLL - Error loading dll32 - the specified module coulod not be found.
Micosoft Windows

I tried selective startup to try and get rid of the problem, but nothing seemed to work. I can boot up in safe mode only.
This model has the fingerprint software and is wireless. Any help would really be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

- when the press any key to boot from cd message is displayed on your screen, press a key to start your computer from the windows xp cd.
- press enter when you see the message to setup windows xp now, and then press enter displayed on the welcome to setup screen.
- do not choose the option to press r to use the recovery console.

- follow the instructions on the screen to complete setup. -
Cisco AIR-LAP 1131 reboot in loop
Hi Everyone
I recently had to deploy about 4 cisco 1131 AP's to one of our branch location. When configuring them on the controller, i needed to put them in HREAP mode. As soon as i do that and the AP needs to reboot, it will continue to reboot in a loop and indicate the following:

And this is all it does, and keep loading the image. I already know the recovery procedure to reset it, but i wanted to know how i can put these AP in HREAP without having these issues. In the setup we need, we cannot have those AP be in local mode.
