Class file javafx.lang.Builtins not found

I just installed Netbeans 6.5 with jdk1.6.0_11 and javaFX 1.0 and latest updates on windows XPSP3. If i create a new JavaFX class all javaFX components are marked with a warning sign "cannot access javafx.lang.Builtins class file for javafx.lang.Builtins not found".
with netbeans 6.1 and javaFXpre1.0 i didn't have these problems but there were no Swingcomnponent class available.
Has anyone an idea how to get rid of this problem
Thanks Marco

The Feb 2009 update gives a slightly more helpful additional message for the package error when hovering over the package's name: "File looks to be in non-JavaFX project"
Create a new project of type JavaFX and put your source code in that and all the errors go away. (Couldn't find a way to change existing project type in Netbeans).
Despite the IDE warnings it does seem to compile OK (assuming you have no other errors).

  • Error(23,19): method getName(java.lang.String) not found in class javax.swi

    Hi , when i try to run my program, i keep getting the error msg:
    Error(23,19): method getName(java.lang.String) not found in class javax.swing.JTextField
    I have checked the java API and it inherits from the awt.Component class and should be accessible via the jtextfield.
    I have tried the following:
    trying to initailise the JTextField at the start.
    Using getName works if i use it within the loop after setting the name.
    Does anybody know what i am doing wrong please?
    public class clsMember extends JPanel implements ActionListener {
        private JButton jbtnLog;
        private String surname;
        private JTextField txtItem;
        public clsMember() {
            super(new SpringLayout());
            makeInterface();
            surname = txtItem.getName("Surname").toString();
    private void makeInterface() {
         //code omitted
               for (int i = 0; i < numpairs; i++) {
                JLabel l = new JLabel(strLabels, JLabel.LEADING);
    this.add(l);
    //if the array item is salutation create a combobox
    if (strLabels[i] == "Salutation") {
    jcomSalutation = new JComboBox(strSalutation);
    jcomSalutation.setSelectedIndex(0);
    this.add(jcomSalutation);
    } else {
    txtItem = new JTextField(10);
    l.setLabelFor(txtItem);
    txtItem.setName(strLabels[i].replaceAll(" ", "")); //this is where the label is set and if i do a system.out it shows fine. getName works here too.
    this.add(txtItem);
    //code omitted

    If i have a loop that creates the jtextfields such as
                    txtItem = new JTextField(10);
                    l.setLabelFor(txtItem);
                    txtItem.setName(strLabels.replaceAll(" ", ""));
    this.add(txtItem);How is it then possible to assign to a string the value of a *specific jtextfield*. Lets say that one of these JTextfields has the name surname.
    How is it possible for me to writeString surname = surnamejtextfield.getText();

  • Load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found Stuck at loading Java Applet

    Hi there
    I have recently installed App Server 10.1.2.0 on a new machine.
    Copied all my forms to an appropriate directory. Set up formsweb.cfg to allow them to run and have attempted to run them.
    Unfortunately I get stuck at the Loading Java Applet screen, and in the status bar at the bottom it says :
    load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found
    I have taken a look at the Java Console, and the 2 things that jump out at me are that it appears to be looking for a forms90 directory, which seems odd since I am using App Server 10.1.2.0.2 and Forms Builder 10.1.2.0.2 meaning it should be looking in a forms directory not forms90 directory shouldnt it ?
    And also, it mentions class with no proxy, so on looking around the forums it has been suggested that put the proxy details into jinitiator, which I have done, but this has made no difference either.
    Can anyone suggest anything else please ?
    Java Console log follows.

    I have seen this error when I'm executing inside one of the (j2ee sun reference implementation) server containers (either web or ejb). I believe its caused by "something" having previously loaded the "sax 1 driver class". In my case, I think the container or server is loading the sax parser from a jar that contains a sax 1 version. If you can, ensure that nothing is loading the sax 1 parser from another jar on your system. Verify that you are loading the sax parser from a jar containing the latest version so that you get the sax 2 compliant parser. Good luck!

    I encountered the above error while testing HrTestModule after creating Default Database Components from Business Diagram (Jdeveloper 10.1.3.0.4).
    When I checked HR Schema there was one table with follow name - which I am unable to delete
    hr.bin$bugokhc7r6yycjxxteowkq==$0
    Thanks
    D Shah

    The table "hr.bin$bugokhc7r6yycjxxteowkq==$0" is a table that was deleted and kept in the recyle bin.
    You can see its content with:
       SQL> show recyclebinin SQL*Plus and purge it with:
       PURGE RECYCLEBIN;See http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14231/tables.htm#sthref2381 for more information.
    I'm not sure the errors you get are related.
    When do you get them exactly ?
    Regards,
    Didier.

  • HELP, Diagnostics Applet JMF classes.....Not Found

    Hi,
    I installed JMF and verified the jars are included in classpath and path, but when I run the diagnostic applet page, it still says Applet JMF classes not found, anyone has any idea?

    JMF classes.....Not Found
    http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/media/jmf/2.1.1/jmfdiagnostics.html

    Everything looks fine as far as the setup goes... Unless you're having problems with a specific JMF application, I wouldn't worry about the diagnostic applet telling you it isn't installed correctly.
    Very well could be a browser security issue with the applet...

  • JDBC driver - Class oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver not found.

    Greetings:
    When I tried to compile an test script (as attached below) to test the driver, I always ended up with the following error message:
    ....java:17: Class oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver not found.
    DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());
    Could somebody shine some light on it? I would very much appreciate it.
    By the way, I have an Oracle DBMS (8.1.7) with jre1.1.7. My Java is jdk1.2 and the driver is ocijdbc8.dll
    Wil
    *************** The test script *************
    import java.sql.*;
    class Users
    public static void main (String args [])
    throws SQLException, ClassNotFoundException
    // Load the Oracle JDBC driver
    Class.forName ("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
    // Connect to the database
    // You can put a database name after the @ sign in the connection URL.
    Connection conn =
    DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:oracle:oci8:@US10", "QM24202E", "QM24202E");
    // Create a Statement
    Statement stmt = conn.createStatement ();
    // Select ... table
    ResultSet rset = stmt.executeQuery ("select USERID from USERS");
    // Iterate through the result and print the ... names
    while (rset.next ())
    System.out.println (rset.getString (1));

    check out what thomas Fly wrote on another discussion forum about connection with JDBC, i tried it and i haven't gotten it
    to work yet but at least i don't have the "... not found" error,
    you should try it too, and i think it's good to tell you that i
    still haven't installed the oracle client on my windows Me PC.
    Hope this help you
    This may help also... I have Oracle installed on a Linux PC at 192.168.1.4 on my LAN, listening on port 1521. I can connect from another PC (Linux / Windows ME dual boot, though running Windows at the time of this experiment) using the following program:
    import java.sql.*;
    public class sqlLookup {
    public static void main(String[] args) throws SQLException, ClassNotFoundException {
    String dbUrl = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@192.168.1.4:1521:ORA8";
    String user = "thomasfly";
    String password = "maverick";
    DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());
    Connection c = DriverManager.getConnection(dbUrl, user, password);
    Statement s = c.createStatement();
    // SQL code:
    ResultSet r = s.executeQuery("select * from members");
    while(r.next()) {
    // Capitalization doesn't matter:
    System.out.println(r.getString("Name") + ", " + r.getString("id") + ": " + r.getString("email") );
    s.close(); // Also closes ResultSet
    I downloaded classes12.zip for Oracle 8.1.7 and put it into the C:\Windows directory, and mounted C:\Windows\classes12.zip in Forte for Java (equivalent to adding it to the classpath if I were running the program from a DOS window, rather than in Forte).
    ORA8... capitalization may be important... is the name of my database, which may be found in the tnsnames.ora file in $ORACLE_HOME/resources.
    The query gets the Name, id, and email fields from the table "members" in the database.
    This is just a barebones program, and each time it's run, the Oracle listener has to be stopped and restarted before the program can be successfully run again.

  • Syncing files constantly issue & page not found when trying to access a file on web

    Can anyone assist with syncing issue. Syncing runs all day and new files are not syncing. I can see the files in web browser (not in desktop APP) however when I try to access the files I get page not found.
    I went into archive (after reading all the forums I coudl find) and I think there are a couple of damaged files as when I tried to delete them I received an encountered 'error' and could not permanently delete.
    I need assistance to get my syncing fixed, and page not found fixed.
    Help!
    Thanks@

    There can be a number of causes for not being able to access file form web browser.  One, you might be writing to wrong directory.  Two, you might not have sufficient privileges to either write to directory or overwrite files already in that directory.  From your description, it's the latter of the two, so you need to get a hold of creative cloud support and get file/folder permissions fixed.  Good luck.

  • "Audio File "Recording#27.aif" not found" Error Message- Please HELP!

    Hi Everyone-
    I was opening a podcast today to finish editing it and I got this error message, "Audio File "Recording#27.aif" Not Found" - and, naturally, when I opened the project, half of a phone interview was missing (or, rather, it shows up as purple balloons but each one says "File Not Found" inside). This file is the audio from the interviewer (the interviewee file is totally fine, as are all others in the podcast). When I load the project it asks if I want to search for this missing file, but when I click yes it says that it can't be found.
    How can I find this file? What happened to it? Thank you for any ideas, suggestions, etc. For reference, I'm using GarageBand 3.0.4 on a MacBook Intel Core Duo 2Ghz and Mac OS X 10.4.11

    no, GB wouldn't delete anything on it's own. it only deletes files for which you've deleted the entire region from the timeline and then saved
    if the file is not within the projects, i'm afraid it's gone, and i can't think of any way that could happen by itself B-(>
    Well i guess I should warn others that copying and pasting is very dangerous stuff! I had two podcasts- in podcast #1 GB saved the interview file as "Recording#27.aif" and in podcast #2 GB saved a little intro clip under the same name. When I pasted the intro clip from podcast #2 into podcast #1 my interview disappeared. I didn't delete it- I was never asked about it, I didn't delete the region from the timeline, etc. I have to assume that since they had the same name, GB thought I no longer needed the "Recording#27" from podcast #1 and now I can't find it anywhere! If anyone has any suggestions as to how I could find this file I would be very appreciative.

  • Audio file "Recording#01.aif" not found.

    I recorded some guitar into garage band and then copied it into a new document and deleted the tracks from he original one. Now when I open the garage band file with the copied guitar tracks, it displays a message saying "Audio file “Recording#01.aif” not found."
    Is there a way to find these sound files again, so that I can hear and edit them again?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Is there a way to find these sound files again
    if you saved the original file, i'm afraid they are gone for good.

  • Audio file 'recording#10.aif' not found (message)

    When I try to open any garageband files that contain real instrument recordings(purple recordings) I recieve a message saying "Audio file 'recording#10.aif' not found, or any other recording number... When the computer prompts me to search i tell it to, and then it comes up with the message "16 invalid region(s) changed!"
    I have found the original recordings in the finder and have tryed putting them in the garage band folder...
    Is the problem that the recording files have maybe changed location in the finder? If so, where does garageband send the files after they are recorded so that I can return them to there original locations?
    Thanks a lot guys.

    I once spent three days (long days) trying to track down and beat an "invalid region" problem, I finally had to admit defeat, nothing I tried could solve it.
    where does garageband send the files after they are recorded
    They are stored within the project you create. There are no scratch files.

  • "Unable to view this file because Acrobat was not found."

    I Downloaded Adobe Creative Suite 6.  I created an Interactive PDF Form and then tried to export the form to PDF. I get the following error.  "Unable to view this file because Acrobat was not found."
    What do i need to do to get this to work?

    In the Export dialog, try turning off the box that says View PDF after Exporting. It may be on by default.
