Class Not Found Error when using Junit

Hi
I am using Junit4.1, Eclipse 3.2.1
I am getting this error
Class not found
start.test.TestPdfGenerationService
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: start.test.TestPdfGenerationService

     at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.main(RemoteTestRunner.java:196)
what would the possible reason for that and how can i come out of it..

the reason: the class is not in the classpath. Or the project's runtime classpath.
Make sure it's added to the build path and if necessary exported all the way to your JUnit project.

  • Class not found error when using javah

Im just trying to create a simple hello world program using jni however I already got stuck trying to create the c header file when I run the javah program. It keeps telling that the class is not found but the class is in the local directory. Should a classpath be set or are there other things that I am missing?

You should have a classpath pointing to the local directory.

  • HTTP 404 Not Found Error when using htp.anchor

    Hi All,
We have customized hire flow and Oracle aplication 11i and added some HTML pages from PL/SQL. We are receiving "HTTP 404 Not Found Error" intermittently when clicking on submit button to go to the next page. If we close the browser and perform the same transaction it is working fine.
Can you please help us in troubleshooting this issue.
    Thanks & Regards,

If you are using Apache, check the error log for more details about the 404. If you are using EPG, there are similar logs somewhere but I can't tell you where off-hand.

  • Help! 'Page not found error' when use the word 'account' on my web page!

I have encountered the weirdest problem when making some changes to my website.
When adding text within the <p></p> tags  everything is fine until I type the word 'account' or 'accounts' then I get a 'page not found' error.
Any other text can go between those tags, only the word 'account' causes the problem.
    Any ideas?
(I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and its a PHP page)
I am so confused on this one, so any help would be much appreciated!
    Thanks.

http://www.reformationassociates.com/ - This is the website, the weirdest part is, it is only happening on pages after they have been opened through Dreamweaver, so it's only once I access them that the problem occurs, I dont have to make any changes, just open them and they suddenly show up as 'page not found'.
http://www.reformationassociates.com/archive/Pinnacle.php is one of the pages that was accessed yesterday via Dreamweaver and we have had to change the word to 'acct' to stop the 'page not found' error.
Afriad I dont know what SSI files are? sorry....
    Thanks.

  • Interface Not Found Error when Using Snap Example for Firewire (IEEE 1394)

I just recently installed a SONY XCD-SX910 to interface with Labview 8.2.  When choosing the driver, only the Legacy driver would work for the Firewire(R) (or IEEE 1394) installation.  After installing the driver, I successfully acquired images from the MAX inteface.  However, when attempting to trace through the 1394 Legacy Snap Example from the IEEE 1394 installation document, I am receiving the error "Interface Not Found".  I have tried a few iterations attempting to name the camera such as "cam0" (the name assigned to the camera in MAX) and "cam0 : SONY XCD-SX910".  However, the error persists.
What should I name my camera for it to find the interface?  Is there another underlying problem that is not obvious?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Is the Legacy Snap example you are referring to the one that is seen here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/2977? Can you post screenshots from both Measurement & Automation Explorer and the VI you are trying to use? Also, can you verify in Measurement & Automation explorer that you are using the 1394 driver? You can do this by right clicking your camer and the selecting driver and choosing the appropriate one. Some more information on all that you are seeing would help in order to troubleshoot this.

  • Inner class not found error when compiling project

I tried to use 9iDS (JDeveloper 9.0.2.822) to generate applet that has textbox and button.
I inserted UI components trough UI editor and added actionlistener there.
Now when trying to compile (and run) project I get always "Class MyClass$1 not found in class MyPackage.MyClass"
This only happens if both package and class are same named. If not it works... Is this feature of java, jdeveloper or something other? (Well, actually this is not a problem because rarely packages and classes are named as same.)

Also, it's probably a good idea to name your packages different than your classesMoreover, common naming conventions dictate you should never even use capitals in your package names if I'm not mistaken. Whereas class names should always at least begin with a capital.
This will help prevent a lot of confusion, both for the developer and the IDE. ;-)

    Hi,

If I try to type in the package, Workshop just aborts!

I tried several times, even with a refresh of my installment. But the failure persists. Any one any ideas of what's going wrong?
I have done an install of osb103_wls103_linux32 under Oracle Enterprise LInux 5 U3.

  • Class not found error when jar in war file

I am using Java Creator 2 and have a project. The required libraries have been added to the library manager and the "package" checkbox has been checked. This means they will be added to the deployment.
After deployment, I check the war file and it contains the proper libraries. However, when I run it by using the "run main project" option from the menu there is ClassNotFound exception. The class that cannot be found is in one of the jars in the war file. As I said, I have checked this war file after deployment and it contains the jar.
Only thing I can think of is that another classloader is being used. Incidentally, (I hope), the missing class file is related to hibernate. During the creation of the Hibernate session factory, it cannot find this file. But hibernate should have nothing to do with it. The fact is a class file cannot be found even though it is in a jar contained in the war file.
    Any ideas?

Did you read the tutorial from Creator?

    Hi,
See this link for some tips if you haven't yet :
Guide to External Jobs on 10g with dbms_scheduler e.g. scripts, batch files
I can think of two things. Your script may not be able to run as the nobody user (by default external jobs run as the nobody user). Or your script might require that some environment variable be set (by default environment variables are not set in external jobs).
Maybe you need to set the CLASSPATH variable in your script before calling java ?
    Hope this helps,
    Ravi.

  • Internet Users not found error when using ISS IACs from ITS

    Hi all,
We are implementing an ITS-based solution for Online Self Services for Utilities.
Initial Logon was fine, and we are able to run through multiple ITS services (IACs).
However, almost always after 4-5 clicks on multiple ITS service (e.g. view bills, view consumption history), we will get an error "Internet User does not exist/Invalid Password"
Checked the ~usertimeout and ~timeout parameter.
~timeout is 8 minutes and ~usertimeout is set to 1 hour.
Any other parameters that we are missing ?
    Appreciate any help.

    Hi,
If this is happens only with services view bills, view consumption history.. or this happens for every other service if you are trying to access 5 minutes after logon.
Have to restarted your ITS server after changing these parameters.
well i am not aware of any ITS based service Bill.. can you please help me out.. if this is part of ESS/MSS service.

  • "Class not found" error at runtime when ExternalLib DC is included in WD DC

    Hi All,
I am getting "Class not found" exception at runtime when external library DC is included in Webdynpro DC.
I am following the below steps..
    1) Created a Webdynpro DC - "testProj" to which i need to add the external library DC.
    2) Created a DC of type "External Library" called "externaljar"
3)Added Public Parts of type assembly and compilation to the "externaljar" DC (Component Properties Tab -> Public Parts)
    4) Right click on the assembly Public Part name -> Manage entities, and added the JAR files as archive.
5)Right click on the compilation Public Part name -> Manage entities, and added the JAR files as archive.
6)Go to Webdynpro DC "testProj" .
Under Component Properties Tab -> Dependencies tab -> Add -> selected the "externaljar" DC -> Next -> for "externaljar" DC checked Deploy time and Run time.
For assembly Public Part and compilation Public Part "build" is selected by default.
    7) I did build of both the DC's and deployed it.
Im getting "Class not found" error.
Please let me know where i am going wrong.
    Thanks,
    Shilpa.

    Hi Balakrishna,
If I add Jar files in build path, at run time I dont get any errors, but I get error at comple time. So an external DC is made which includes all jar files in its public part and this DC is added as dependency in the webdynpro project (at deploy time, run time) as in below blog.
    /people/raphael.vogel/blog/2008/05/05/how-to-use-external-libraries-in-the-sap-component-model-part-ii
Here im getting the error "class not found".
    Thanks,
    Shilpa.

  • Class not found error afer loading classes to oracle

hi i have loaded quite a few jars into oralce 11g databse
    created a java stored function
    and executed it
some times it works... and hits the java front end environment... we are hitting a servlet.. and recording some output statements .. in the function
but sometimes it throws class not found error
any idea why its working sometimes and not some othr times?
Also when i load the jars.. the classes are loaded but when i see the name of the classes using
    select * from user_objects where object_type like 'J%'
then i see some additional characters prefixxed the class names ... is that causing the problem?
    something like this

    Learning_man,
Obviously you need to learn how to ask a question.
There is nothing in your post other than 'It doesn't work. Why? Help"
without any specific example. Also you still fail to include a 4 digit version!!!
It is also the third or the fourth time you asked this very same question.
Can you learn how to ask a question please? And stop repeating the question when you don't get a response?
And no, the extra characters are not the problem.
    An incorrect CLASSPATH probably is.
