and also this error is found in the below line of code:
reader = new InputReader();
below is the class where the error originates
and the other classes also
thank you in advance
Stan

i looked at the code quickly but noticed that you declare you class as:
public class inputReader
but used:
private InputReader reader;
java is case sensitive so I (uppercase) is different from i (lowercase).

  • Nested RSLs - Verify Error "Class not Found" Help

    Hi there,
    I have 2 library projects and one Application:
    TweenMax
    MyLibrary
    MyApplication
    If I make TweenMax into an RSL with these compiler arguments:
    -compute-digest=true -directory=true -output=rsl
    And I make MyLibrary into an RSL with these compiler arguments
    -compute-digest=true -allow-source-path-overlap=true -directory=true -output=rsl
    (I need that -allow-source-path-overlap=true so I can use the classes in MyApplication it seems)
    ...  And then I load the 2 libraries into MyApplication from "Flex Build Path" -> "Library Path" -> "Add Project", and I specify LinkType is RSL, and then I run MyApplication, I get the VerifyError:
    VerifyError: Error #1014: Class ..a class.. could not be found.
    I've tried adding a "crossdomain.xml" file to the root of MyLibrary and of MyApplication (at MyLibrary/crossdomain.xml or MyApplication/crossdomain.xml), with content:
    <cross-domain-policy>
        <allow-access-from domain="*" to-ports="*"/>
    </cross-domain-policy>
    But that doesn't change anything.  I am running this locally on a Mac (/Users/Lance/Documents/Flex Builder 3/MyApplication).  What am I doing wrong here?  Is it even possible to do nested RSLs like this?
    Thanks,
    Lance

    I think you meant "External" when you said "LinkType = Extended".
    This isn't really nested RSLs. By linking a library as External you have made that library's RSL dependent on the External library's RSLs.
    In your example MyLibrary is compiled with TweenMax as an external library. This means MyLibrary's RSL is dependent on TweemMax's RSL. The dependency requires MyApplication to load the TweenMax RSL before the MyLibrary RSL.

  • HELP!! Nokia's API classes not found with j2me WTK

    I setup j2me WTK, jdk1.4.2 and also Nokia's SDK (Series_60_MIDP_SDK_for_Symbian_OS_v_1_2_1) on my Win NT 4.0 machine.
    J2ME samples (shipped with it) are working fine with ktoolbar. but when i try to build & run nokia samples, they are always giving error "FullCanvas class not found" and "package com.nokia.lcd.ui.* not found". I am sure it is the problem of placement of classes of nokia at correct place inside j2me's WTK. However, i followed the guidelines to install symbian sdk inside wtk401\wtklib\devices folder (as per instructions of forum nokia). But i am still not able to get it running. Any expert suggestions, then plz respond me , i am in urgent need to solve this issue!!!! plz help me!!!!

    Hi,
    Maybe I'm being thick but I can't get this work. I've tried zipping the com/nokia stuff into the midpapi.zip. And I've tried just replacing midapi.zip with classes.zip from the nokia emulator. But it still says:
    "package nokia.mid.ui does not exist
    import nokia.mid.ui.*;"
    I'm using ktoolbar 1.04.
    Many thanks!
    CP
    Hey, thanks for the great tip. Was also using
    KToolbar because it runs faster on my slow laptop than
    Sun One studio.
    With the later version of WTK, the paths
    C:\...\WTK21\lib contains 2 files, midpapi20.zip and
    midpapi10.zip
    The later contains classes for compiling to MIDP1.0
    standard. I think most people use this. Replace it
    the class.zip in
    C:\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_7210_MIDP_SDK_v1_0\lib if
    you're using the same SDK as I am, and don't forget to
    rename it.
    Cheers.

  • Class Not Found in Server Application

    I have set up a basic server application. It contains three files namely
    Arith.java (implements the Remote interface)
    ArithImpl.java (implements Arith.java the server) and
    ArithApp.java which is the client Application
    All of these are in the same package. I have compiled all of these files and I execute the rmic ArithImpl command from within the ArithImpl.java file via Runtime.getRuntime.exec(...);
    The stub and skeleton files are generated and still I get a class not found exception. I have checked the class path and these files are within the class path.

  • "Java Class not found in classpath" Error in DESIGNER

    Hello All,
    I'm trying to connect in Designer using a JDBC connection to MS SQL Server 2008.  As per the instructions, I updated my jdbc.sbo file with the path to the existing two JAR files.  However, I still get the following error when I try and connect in Designer:  "Java Class not found in classpath : C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer\jdbc\Drivers\sqlsrv".  Of course, this error includes the drive path with the location to my JAR files.  Any help in resolving this nagging issue is very GREATLY appreciated.  Also, if anyone needs it I can post a copy of the jdbc.sbo file to this thread.
    Thank you,
    Pankaj

    Stratos,
    Your suggestion didn't help.  I tried to connect after restarting my machine and I still get the error.  And, I've also tried adding a connection to MS SQL Server 2005 using this JDBC driver, and that didn't help either.  Any other suggestions?  Would it help to see my "jdbc.sbo" file?  Thanks again for your and everyone else's help, and I look forward to your reply.
    Regards,
    Pankaj

    I have found the solution.
    The problem is solved by adding jaxp_api_1.3 jar and jaxp-ri-1.4.1.jar.we have to have both these jar in PI 7.0 to use com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.datatype.XMLGregorianCalendarImpl package
    Thanks

  • Class Not Found Exception - applet won't run anywhere outside of IDE

    I have an applet that runs perfectly in the netbeans IDE, but won't run from command prompt (I'm using windows) or from a browser. I've been banging my head against the wall for a few days on this one. Here's the HTML I'm using:
    <applet width="400" height="525" code="musicapplet.class" archive="crypticgraffiti.jar">
    <param name="bgcolor" value="ffffff"> <param name="fontcolor" value="000000">
    </param> </param> Your browser is not Java enabled. </applet>
    Here is the structure of the jar file's contents:
    META-INF/
    META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
    com/
    com/crypticgraffiti/
    com/crypticgraffiti/music/musicapplet
    com/crypticgraffiti/music/GetNotes.class
    com/crypticgraffiti/music/InstList.class
    com/crypticgraffiti/music/Mode.class
    com/crypticgraffiti/music/MusicCreator.class
    com/crypticgraffiti/music/OctaveTransformer.class
    com/crypticgraffiti/music/Phrase.class
    musicapplet/MusicApplet$playerThread.class
    musicapplet/MusicApplet.class
    (Musicapplet.class is the main class)
    When I attempt to run from command prompt, I get:
    "Error: Could not find or load main class crypticgraffiti.MusicApplet"
    When I attempt to load via html:
    "basic: load: class musicapplet.class not found.
    load: class musicapplet.class not found.
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: musicapplet.class

         at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
    Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: musicapplet.class
    security: Accessing keys and certificate in Mozilla user profile: null"
    I have tried every possible variation for the 'code' element of the applet tag (package.mainclass.class, mainclass, mainclass.class, etc). I have also tried compiling with JDK 1.6 and this didn't change anything. I've tried clearing out the cache of temporary files using the java control panel settings, and have verified that my browser can run other applets using JRE 6 and 7.
    I've tried some different ways of distributing the applet, also: putting all the class files in the folder with the html file, putting the classes in a source folder in the same folder as the html file, and finally putting a jar in the same folder as the html file (which really seems the simplest).
    Any help at all would be most appreciated! This applet is a very cool and original music creating app that draws heavily on the JFugue API. It's a shame that I can't get it online for people to play with!

    Please note that class names are case sensitive so "MusicApplet" is not same as "Musicapplet" or "musicapplet". Your applet tag should have fully qualified class name (without quotes) and should look like this:
    <applet width=400 height=525 code=musicapplet.MusicApplet archive="crypticgraffiti.jar">
    </applet>
    The JAR should be in the same directory as your HTML file. While launching from command line, you can also check if your JAR file is getting included in classpath.

  • B2B Java Callout Class not found exception

    Hello B2B Gurus,
    I am facing class not found exception, when trying to call a java code from B2B and below the configuration done from B2B side.

    Sunil,
    Administration-- Callout Details -- Implementation Class -- XXClassFileNameMake sure that you are giving complete name of the class (without extension .class.). For an example if your class name is Sample and it is in package a.b.c then give class name as a.b.c.Sample
    Administration-- Configuration -- Callout Directory -- xx/yy/zz (UNIX server that is accesible from B2B)This must be valid directory existing on machine where B2B is installed.
    2.Partners--XX--Delivery Channel -- Select the channel where we need the call out -- Channel Attributes -- Transport Callout -- XXJavaCallout
    3.Agreement--Callout -- XXJavaCalloutTransport Callout and Agreement Callouts are used for different purpose. Are you sure that you really need both in your case?

  • Java applet class not found exception for check scan

    I am getting a class not found exception when trying to scan a check into a banking website. The application uses Java and the exception error has the name "com.epaysol.checkscanAppletV2" in the message. I have the latest Firefox and the latest Java installed. I tried going to an earlier version of Firefox and of Java where this app worked in the past and it does not work now in the earlier versions either. So I am now back to the latest version of everything.

    Try to clear the Java cache:

    Control Panel > Java > General tab > "Temporary Internet Files" > Settings > Delete Files

  • Class not found error!!!

    Hello,
    I wrote a program that would read data from a file (present in one of my folders). I developed it as an applet and am able to see the result in appletviewer, but unable to see it in the browser(IE6-WIN2000). I did the HTMLConverter procedure and saw that it worked for all other files except this. The error it gives is:
    load: rdbyte class not found
    However, this class file is located in the same folder. And all the necessary methods like init() etc are present in my program.
    Please help me!!!
    Thanks
    NS

    Do you have used any other package then default package?
    Look at the documentation and search something like this:
    <applet>
    <param name="code" value="yourClass.class">
    <param name="codebase" value="classFileDirectory">
    </applet>
    Your applet must be signed to read or write file from your filesystem.
