ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.javafx.runtime.location.ChangeListener
Hi guys,
I'm sorry for my question, I need your help.
I started working with javafx and now I added to my project JFXTras to add power to my javafx components.
I created a javafx project with netbeans, I added JFXTras lib and I put a button in the stage, with just this code:
*function buttonOnMouseClicked(event: javafx.scene.input.MouseEvent): Void {*
insert XPane
*contentNode: Circle{ centerX: 10, centerY: 10, radius: 40 }*
*} into this.scene.content;*
Running application when I click on button this exception appear
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/javafx/runtime/location/ChangeListener
at testjavafx.Main.buttonOnMouseClicked(Main.fx:45)
+...+
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.javafx.runtime.location.ChangeListener
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
What I can do? I use netbeans 6.9.1 with javafx 1.3...
Thanks,
Regards
Hi. The XPane component from Jfxtras library is not working in javafx1.3.1.
Probably jfxtras is not updated for javafx1.3.1

Cannot reach com.sun.javafx.runtime.sequence package from Java
Hello!
I'm trying to create JavaFX sequence from Java code, because creating sequences with large amount of data (more than 10000 elements) seems to be quite inefficient in JavaFX (leastwise takes almost a minute(!) when using insert ... into ...).
The problem is that I get the following error message when trying to use SequenceBuilder from Java:
{color:#ff0000}+Compiling 1 source file to C:\Users\Ákos\Documents\NetBeansProjects2\PolylineProba\build\classes+
C:\Users\Ákos\Documents\NetBeansProjects2\PolylineProba\src\polylineproba\ArrayBuilder.java:11: package com.sun.javafx.runtime.sequence does not exist
import com.sun.javafx.runtime.sequence.*;
+1 error+{color}
The sample code is very simple:
{color:#333399}+package test;+
import com.sun.javafx.runtime.sequence.*;
+public class ArrayBuilder {+
+}+{color}
This is strange as the code completion sees all classes inside the mentioned package, but the compiler doesn't.
Does anyone have an idea, why? (I'm using Netbeans 6.1 with JavaFX SDK preview 1.0.)
Thanks,
AkosHello!
Normally you don't need to know the exact location of these files as you can add them to the project by adding a library. To do this in Netbeans: right click on the Libraries in the project tree and choose Add library. Then you should see JavaFXUserLib.
If not then find and add them manually to the classpath:
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/Decora-D3D.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/Decora-HW.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/Decora-OGL.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/Scenario.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/gluegen-rt.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/javafx-swing.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/javafxc.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/javafxdoc.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/javafxgui.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/javafxrt.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/jmc.jar
javafx-sdk1.0pre1/lib/jogl.jar

Hi Forum:

vax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactoryImpl ------------------------- Loader Info ------------------------- ClassLoader name:
i dont know whats happening and is so strange because i make one simple java project in eclipse and i copied the codes and works fine, but in a web application i cant run it.
I also founded it the jar to this class com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactoryImpl
but doesnt work
Can somebody help me, please?.. i really need it..
thnks
joshuaIt usually means that a JAR in which the class file resides is not included in the web-app or is not on the classpath. Had the same problem with the last Eclipse/WebLogic project where JAR files, in which class files resided on which other class files were dependent, were missing.

When I create an EJB Transport Business Service, after selecting the jar that has the EJB 2.1 artefacts (Remote, Home, etc) the oepe plugin fails and can't continue.
As I understand it seems that there is a problem with the classpath of ant build.xml that oepe creates inside folder /tmp/alsbejbtransport/ to compile the bs and generate the wsdl. I checked if tools.jar is in the classpath (in eclipse) and is included, so I can't figure out wich is the problem.
I found this in Oracle, but not helps solve the problem:

I'm pretty sure I found the problem.
If there is a wrong url for a link in your JSF page it will throw this error in the log.
in my case i was referring a javascript file in the page which doesn't exist at the path.
So check all of your links on the page to make sure they are right. that should fix the problem.
atleast it did in my case.
Thanks

NullPointerException at com.sun.scenario.effect
Hi to all
I meet this exception in my app. At the screen it seems like lost links to my graphics(no rendering some nodes)
Are there some one to meet that exception too?

at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)I think there are bugs in the underlying texture handling that are scheduled to be fixed for JavaFX 3.0 which might cause this issue. If that is in fact your issue, I'm not sure what the correct workaround is (perhaps forcing a software pipeline - which I don't know how to do - or simplifying your graphics processing).
I think the jira issue to track this is:
http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-15516
"image data associated with cached nodes that are removed from a scene are not aggressively released"
Essentially I think the issue is that texture memory on the video card is used up because the unused cached nodes are not aggressively garbage collected.
I'd advise trying to create a simple test case to reproduce it (I know that might be difficult...) and post your test case (or your app if you can't create one) with reproduction instructions to http://javafx-jira.kenai.com. Although maybe even just posting the stack trace to jira will be enough for the developers to verify that the issue is a duplicate of RT-15516.
I created a couple of seemingly unrelated jiras which ended up being classed as duplicates of the above jira.
In both cases I was animating large graphics at high speeds. -
I just download and try WTK2.5 today, I changed the file ktoos.properties to use Retroguard as the document said, the toolkit shown the following error message while building the app!
The obfuscation class file can not be loaded.
com.sun.kvem.ktools.RunRetro
Warning: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.kvem.ktools.RunRetro
Obfuscation failed.
then, I checked that ..\wtklib\ktools.zip does not contain the class com.sun.kvem.ktools.RunRetro, it just contains the class com.sun.kvem.ktools.RunPro for Proguard!
is that a bug? or anything i am missing?I just download and try WTK2.5 today, I changed the file ktoos.properties to use Retroguard as the document said, the toolkit shown the following error message while building the app!

Supplemental/vda-migrate fails: missing com/sun/vda/service/TextCipher
Hi,
just tried vda-migrate to upgrade my test installation (single host) from vda_3.0 to the new 3.1 version.
This fails as seen below (added -verbose:class to the line calling java in vda-migrate:doExport).
Any idea where class 'com/sun/vda/service/TextCipher' could be found (at least it's not defined in
any .jar-file in vda_3.{0,1}/Solaris_10+/i386/Packages/SUNWvda*...)

Deployment problem on WLS8.1sp3: com.sun.javac.Main not found
Hi,
I have a curious problem, after adding some simple (logging) code to an Session Bean, the EAR file will not deploy. I get the message below concerning compilation problems. If however I restore the Session Bean to the previous state, and having build a new EAR file, the erro persists. What is this strange behaviour, has this to do with weblogic settings for the EAR file of whatever ?
NB I also have tried to include the tool.lib jar in the projekt but that doesn't solve the problem.
Any help would be appreciated,
Harry van Rijn

JNDI: Can't find Class com.sun.jndi.nis.NISCtxFactory
Hi
I searched this forum for similar problems .. and I also found some, but this questions were either not be answered or not detailed enough.
Now to my question. I've got a Java File that I imported to Oracle (I use it from PL/SQL). This Java File contains following code.
static Properties = System.getProperties();
env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,"com.sun.jndi.nis.NISCtxFactory");
env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "nis://disney/geo.unizh.ch");
Context ctx = new InitialContext(env);
And if I run it from oracle(PL/SQL) I get the error below.
javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Cannot instantiate class: com.sun.jndi.nis.NISCtxFactory. Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com/sun/jndi/nis/NISCtxFactory
at java.lang.Class.forName0(Class.java)
at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java)
at com.sun.naming.internal.VersionHelper12.loadClass(VersionHelper12.java)
at javax.naming.spi.NamingManager.getInitialContext(NamingManager.java)
at javax.naming.InitialContext.getDefaultInitCtx(InitialContext.java)
at javax.naming.InitialContext.init(InitialContext.java)
at javax.naming.InitialContext.<init>(InitialContext.java)
at GIUZContext.getCtx(GIUZContext:42)
at CheckPwd.check(CheckPwd:18)
The nis.jar I imported with the loadjava, so actuallay should it be in the database. But why it cant find this class (NISCtxFactory)!
I get no error if I use this code ->
NISCtxFactory test = new NISCtxFactory();
System.out.println(test);
It would be very nice if you could give me some clues. TNX!!
Oracle Version 8.1.7.
CyrillHi Cyrill,
I don't know what other postings you have read, and I also don't
know why they were insufficient for you, so excuse me if I repeat
things you already know.
As far as I know, the error message you are getting is most probably
due to one of the following three causes:
1. The class is not loaded into the database.
2. The class is loaded but is not "valid".
3. You don't have permission to access the class.
To the best of my memory, there have been several posts to either
this forum or the "Products > Database > JVM" forum
http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jsp?id=424322
that (in my opinion) sufficiently explain how to resolve the problem
for each of the three causes listed above.
Personally, I believe that the Oracle documentation sufficiently
explains how to resolve the above three issues, and I have posted
the URLs for the relevant Oracle documentation several times already.
I am guessing that you are trying to "talk" to an EJB (probably deployed
in SUN's application server) from a java stored procedure in the Oracle
database. If that is the case, then that question has been discussed
many times in this forum. Perhaps you can say why those discussions
were not sufficiently helpful for you.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck,
Avi. -

The very first time the appserver is started after installation , there are some internal classes that are generated for the timer bean during server startup. It looks like for some reason that did not happen and when the ejb container's timer bean tried to load it couldn't. Can you check the server.log to see if there are any codegen/timer-related errors during the first startup of the appserver?
