Close a loaded HTML file

Dear Friends,
i have developed a ticker, in that if the user clicks help
button, it will load a HTML file from the site. my file works fine,
wherever user clicks on that button it is creating new native html
file. i can disable my help button when they native HTML browser. i
need to enable my help button when they close the HTML window. i
dont know how to trace the closing of HTML window.
to load HTML iam using the following code:
var initOptions:NativeWindowInitOptions = new
NativeWindowInitOptions();
initOptions.resizable = false;
initOptions.maximizable = false;
initOptions.minimizable = false;
var bounds:Rectangle = new Rectangle(10, 10, 630, 500);
var html2:HTMLLoader = HTMLLoader.createRootWindow(true,
initOptions, true, bounds);
var urlReq2:URLRequest = new URLRequest("
http://www.xyz.com/desktop/help.html");
html2.load(urlReq2);
helpbutton.enable = false;
html2.stage.nativeWindow.activate();
i need to enable my helpbutton, when they close (unload),
this html page..
thanks and Regards,
Syed Abdul Rahim

Add an event listener for the window's close event:
html2.stage.nativeWindow.addEventListener(NativeWindow.CLOSE,
closeFunction);
function closeFunction( event:Event ):void
helpbutton.enable = true;
}

  • Why does DW CC 2014.1 Fluid Grid load HTML file that contains Google Analytics Tracking Code script so slowly?

    I exclusively work in Fluid Grid since my site is a Responsive Web Design.  I'm having trouble with slow load time in DW CC 2014.1, when my file, as they all do of course, has the Google Analytics Tracking Code script.
    I'm on a Windows 8.1 using a Dell Precision M3800 Laptop with Memory 16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3 . Each of our site's 180 or so web pages, of course, has its Google Analytics Tracking Code script. It is placed, following Google instructions, as the last entry in the <head>.  Google Analytics does not instruct to place the script in the JS Folder with an scr to it, but rather in the <head>.  It takes up to one and a half or two minutes for DW CC 2014.1 to load the Google Analytics Tracking Code script .  That is, the grid does not show in Live View until finally analytics.js shows up in the Document Toolbar. A minute or two can add up when every page you load takes this long.  And, making new Fluid Grid pages, as is done, through the Save As command; every new page made you have to deal with the minute or two wait time since all those pages have the Google Analytics Tracking Code script.  Therefore, this time component alone, assuming I'm accessing and/or making 20 pages per week (and in our business this is easily the case) the math is that I'm wasting between 17 and 35 hours per year just with DW CC 2014.1 loading the much needed Google Analytics Tracking Code script.
    I have loaded HTML files that do not have the Google Analytics Tracking Code script as a test and those files load at the normal quick speed.
    Therefore, the new Chromium Embedded Framework browser engine has a serious load problem when it confronts an HTML5 file with a Google Analytics Tracking Code script.  Oddly, the prior DW CC 2014 version, with the old browser engine did not have this slow-load problem since I was loading these same files in that DW CC version up until October 8th or so.
    I think this new browser engine is a Google platform that apparently has a problem rendering or loading a Google Analytics Tracking Code script.  That makes no sense.
    Anyone else had this particular slow-load problem with DW CC 2014.1?
    Thanks.

    Wow.  That sure solved the slow-load problem, at least using your suggested snippet in a simple test HTML file.
    Per Google's instructions, I pasted the snippet before the closing </head> tag.  And, even in that positioning in the file; the file loaded at the speed (about one second) that it did prior to DW 2014.1.
    Two questions.
    Will this snippet provide the same tracking data as my current GA snippet?
    Because my current GA snippet is in about 200 web pages, can I retain the old snippet in most of them and place the new snippet in my approximately 5 main web pages as well as my templates so my new pages, as well as my main pages, have the new snippet.  That is, can I have both snippets (i.e. old snippet in earlier pages and new snippet in main pages and new pages to be made going forward) in my website at the same time?
    Of course I would not have both the old and new snippet in a web page at the same time.
    I greatly appreciate any assistance anyone can provide me on this issue and thank all of you in advance.
    I've provided code for both simple test files below.

  • Load html files onto repository by bulk loader

    hi
    my subject is self explainatory .
    i want to load html files . i created one html file (for example test.html),then create test.html.md.properties and
    write these in it :
    nodeType = Ad
    but when i run bulk loader script say to me :
    java.rmi.remoteException : null is not defined.it must be in order to create node :/<parent>/test.html
    please help me

    Hi;
    I've created a webservice proxy (Stub) on JDeveloper 9.0.3 pre, this class it's a proxy for a webservice, and it's works fine on JDeveloper, but I need to upload this class to a Oracle 8i 8.1.7.3 Database, the database must be the client for this webservice, but when I try to create a java source on the database it gives me some compilation errors, because it can't find some classes (XERCES, SOAP, and JAXP) that are needed by the webservice proxy (Stub); so my question is how to load this classes to the DB? I've found a document on OTN that says (http://otn.oracle.com/tech/java/jsp/content.html -> Unleash the Power of Java Stored Procedures):
    "Database as Active Web Service Client
    A Java stored procedure can be a Web service requester. Attaching such a stored
    procedure as a trigger allows the database to automatically invoke external Web
    services upon data-driven events. Non-Java modules such as PL/SQL procedures
    and DBMS packages can be encapsulated with a Java wrapper that will invoke
    external Web services, on their behalf. Here are the steps for a proof of concept:
    ' Load XERCES, SOAP, and JAXP jar files.
    ' Grant connect and resolve to the SOAP server/port.
    ' Load the SOAP client Java class.
    ' Create a PL/SQL package to wrap the SOAP client as
    trigger.
    The complete code sample and instructions will be posted on the Oracle OTN
    Web site."
    It's dated on June 2002, could some one give me a hint on how to do it?
    Thanks
    Mario A ChavezSorry, due to lack of bandwidth, it took us longer than we thought for providing this. As i have just responded in OracleJVM forum, we will be posting the complete demo/code_sample, using Apache SOAP clients libs, in a couple of weeks. Demo is working we are documenting it.
    drop me an email ([email protected]) if you can't wait.

  • JSP page do not close after loading a file

    Hello, i am having a bit of a problem. i have the following code that help me load reports (pdf and xls) from my server in the user browser.
    What i do in my code : jsp Page 1(generationInProgress) i create one of these reports (xml with blob) --> jsp page 2(viewReport) i load the file into the page.
    My problem is pdf just go directly in the user brower but xls file(this file look like it is my page viewReport but in excel format) need to be downloaded into the user pc (work fine) but the first page (generationInProgress) stay visible.
    This is in viewReport:
    public void openFile()
    System.out.println("openFIle");
    //retrieve the report information
    String fileName = sessionBean.getReportName();
    //load the files
    File reportFile = new File(mainPathL2, fileName + "." + sessionBean.getReportFormat());
    File xslFile = new File(mainPathL2, fileName + ".xsl");

    try
    if(reportFile == null)
    System.out.println("report file is null");
    else
    System.out.println(reportFile.length());
    //send the pdf file to screen
    HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse)facesContext.getExternalContext().getResponse();
    if(sessionBean.getReportFormat().equals("xls"))
    response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel");
    else
    response.setContentType("application/pdf");
    if(reportFile.length() != 4096){
    FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream(reportFile);
    ServletOutputStream out = response.getOutputStream();
    byte[] outputByte = new byte[(int)reportFile.length()];
    while(fis.read(outputByte) != -1)
    out.write(outputByte);
    fis.close();
    out.flush();
    out.close();
    } catch (IOException e)
    // Do your error handling thing.
    System.err.println("Download file failed: " + e.getMessage());
    e.printStackTrace();
    //delete files
    reportFile.delete();
    xslFile.delete();
    facesContext.responseComplete();
    } //end openFile() method

    no on ever had that problem ?

  • Load html file and dependent files into a movieclip?

    So I'm trying to load output from articulate storyline which is a combination of html and swf files. So just having the swf file load didn't pull in the dependent files. I'm viewing my project in a projector file from flash, not a browser. So is it possible to have a button trigger an html file to display in a movieclip (like you can with and swf file and a loader)? I can get a button to trigger the html file to load in a browser tab, but I'd love for the html content to be pulled directly into a movieclip in a frame or loader. is this even possible?

    if you use adobe air, you can use the htmlloader class or stagewebview class.
    otherwise, you'll need to use javascript and the externalinterface class.

  • Browser has suddenly stopped loading html files which contain flash content (LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.2)

    Having created interactive material which opens as shockwave flash in my browser Firefox has stopped opening such files it just opens with the circle as if its opening the file but the file never opens. These files opened previously without a hitch and open in IE. If I browse and open the shockwave flash object quiz.swf it will open but it will not open the quiz,html file.
    I'm using Firefox 3.6.13 and adobe flash 10

    There is no Flash player version 15... as in your code:
    <param name="swfversion" value="15.0.0.0" />
    For some reason Adobe thought it would be a good idea to target a Flash player version (15) as default.....which may be out a couple years in the future. Go figure!!!
    If you don't like player version 9, change to 10 or 11.... just not 15 (yet).

  • WAD 7.0 Load html - file from MIME-repository

    Hi guys,
    I have the following problem:
    I have implemented web application with WAD 7.0. Now I have to put a button in it. If I press this button new window should be opened with a file (html - file) which is stored in MIME Repository. With WAD 3.5 it was easy I could use javascript function: window.open().
    window.open("/sap/bw/Mime/Customer/.../file.htm","NewWindow","width=750,height=700,left=100,top=100");
    Now this solution doesn't work anymore. I tryed to change the path but without success.
    I tried with command wizard but I was not successfull too. Maybe you have some idees how can I deal with this problem.
    Regards
    Erwin
    Edited by: Erwin  Buda on Dec 3, 2008 9:37 AM

    Yes I tried it at first with Script Item but it did not work. I am not sure how should I change the path because of the portal:
    "/sap/bw/Mime/Customer/.../file.htm" - this path is not working anymore
    Another option that you mentioned I do not want to use. I have about 20 different html files in MIME repository so I would have to create 20 different web application. I do not like this solution.

  • How to load .html file based on user location?

    Based on the browser langugae settings / regional settings (locale), we need to display the one of the html pages.
    html content is specific to country and plain text only not using unicode.
    Is there is a way to load using java. It is working for .propeties file.
    Thanks

    If using jsp/jsf place the text in properties files (according to language again) and then display the text using the bundle.

  • A working method to load local PDF and HTML files on iOS

    I had a lot of trouble getting this to work, and I'm hoping this post saves someone time. Some of the information that's been posted in other locations is either wrong, incomplete, or might only work on Android. By the time you read this message the information here may no longer be accurate, so here's the testing environment:
    Window 7
    Flash CS 5.5.0
    AIR 2.7.0.19530, which was compiled on June 28, 2011
    iPad 1, version 4.3.5 of iOS
    Let's get started.
    On iOS, you load external PDF and HTML files using the StageWebView class.
    On Windows, StageWebView works but the HTMLLoader class is a better choice if you're creating a desktop app.
    You can also load HTML files by reading in the file's text. The information in this post is only for loading external HTML files.
    StageWebView will not load a file that's in File.applicationDirectory. All files bundled in your app are placed in File.applicationDirectory, which means you'll have to copy any external file you wish to load with StageWebView to another directory.
    So where can you copy your file? File.applicationStorageDirectory won't work. File.documentsDirectory does work.
    Several people have recommended copying to a temporary file using File.createTempFile(). This works, but there's a catch: it seems that, like Windows, StageWebView relies on a file's extension when determining how to load it. When you create a temporary file on iOS using File.createTempFile(), the file will have no extension (and on Windows, File.createTempFile() creates a file with the extension .tmp, which is equally problematic).
    The solution to the file extension problem is to rename the temporary file by appending the original file's extension. AIR currently does not have a <file>.rename() function, so you'll have to do it using <tempFile>.moveTo().
    Here's some code I've successfully tested several times on both iOS and Windows. The file is copied to the temp directory. The file's extension is restored by just slapping the original file name to the end of the temp file.
            private function loadExternalFile():void
                var webView = new StageWebView();
                webView.stage = this.stage;
                webView.viewPort = new Rectangle( 0, 0, 1024, 555 );
                // Works with either html or pdf files.
                // These are stored in the root of the application directory.
                var fileName:String = "euei.pdf";
                //var fileName:String = "euei.htm";
                var sourceFile = File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath( fileName );
                var workingFile = File.createTempFile();
                try
                    sourceFile.copyTo( workingFile, true );
                    // You have to rename the temp file
                    var renamedTempFile:File = workingFile.resolvePath(workingFile.nativePath + fileName);
                    workingFile.moveTo(renamedTempFile, true);
                    webView.loadURL( renamedTempFile.url );
                catch (err:Error) { }

    I tried this with Flash CS5.5 and AIR 4.0 SDK. Any pdf loaded simply fills the viewPort with black. Also tested with a png version of the pdf and that displayed just fine.
    What's the purpose of copying to a temp work file? I found that webView.loadURL( sourceFile.url ); gave me the exact same results.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

  • How to display HTML file  (on server path) to ADF jspx page ?

    Hi Team,
    We have a requirement to display HTML content which is in tabular format on a page. This page is jspx page based on page template and this html has to be shown on a radio button select. I am trying to do this with Jquery but since the id of all components in jspx comes as pt1:id (pt1 being the id of page template) and : being a special character in Jquery, I am not able to proceed further.
    the syntax of Jquery to load html file a POC has been done outside Jdeveloper is working fine with a general syntax of
    $("#selector".load("html path"));
    Please let me know is they any other solution to load the file?
    Thanks
    Pavan

    For example
    - (void)viewDidLoad {
        [super viewDidLoad];
        NSURL *fileURL = [NSURL fileURLWithPath:[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"readMe" ofType:@"html"]];
        [infoWebView loadRequest:[NSURLRequest requestWithURL:fileURL]];
    and from the .h
    @property (nonatomic, retain) IBOutlet UIWebView *infoWebView;

  • Servlet for plain HTML files? (i.e. not JSPs)

    Hello,
    I have a webapp that includes plain-old HTML files (in a WAR) and a servlet that executes and then dispatches the request to a plain-old HTML file.
    When this runs I get this error:
    500 Internal Server Error
    Cannot get request dispatcher for path foo/bar.html
    I am not sure what the problem is, but I think it may be that this is an HTML file (as opposed to a JSP file), and my OC4J instance is not configured to handle HTML files.
    So, my question is: How do I configure OC4J to handle plain HTML files?
    In config/global-web-application.xml I see several servlets, one for JSPs, one for CGI, for SSI, for Perl, for PHP.... but how do I handle just HTML?
    Thanks,
    Otis

    Hello Steve,
    I think this exception may explain what I'm seeing:
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: introduction.videos._tasks__welcome
         at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspClassLoader.loadClass(JspClassLoader.java:758)
         at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:235)
         at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspPageInfo.getInstFacade(JspPageInfo.java:167)
         at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspPageInfo.compileAndLoad(JspPageInfo.java:451)
         at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspPageTable.compileAndServe(JspPageTable.java:542)
         at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspPageTable.service(JspPageTable.java:304)
         at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspServlet.internalService(JspServlet.java:509)
         at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:413)
         at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:853)
    So, it looks like OC4J is using a JspServlet and JspClassLoader to try to load:
    _introduction._videos._tasks__welcome.class
    However, that "_tasks__welcome" is not a Java class - it is a regular .html file that lives in my WAR file as:
    tpri/introduction/videos/tasks_welcome.html
    So it looks like I have to tell OC4J not to try to load .html files as JSPs and treat them as plain HTML files that they are. Is there a way to do this with OC4J? (9.0.4.0.0)
    Thanks,
    Otis

  • Is this possible to load HTML Widget to CS4 like CS5

    Hi Everyone!
    I have used Photoshop CS4 & CS5. I have created one CS5 Extensions Panel using HTML Widget from Adobe Configurator II .
    In Photoshop CS5 Extensions Panel HTML widget shows Image & Text in HTML window.
    Hence Is this possible to use HTML Widget in Photoshop CS4 or How to Load HTML file in Photoshop CS4 to Extensions Panel.
    Thanks in advance.
    -yajiv

    Not exactly sure how you where planning to display that HTML content in relation to the overall page, but given the limitations of Flash... that may just not be possible...
    But, it would be a simple matter to display an HTML iframe over the top of or behind a Flash .swf... So while the iframe would not be a part of the .swf, it certainly could be designed to make it look as though it were.
    Controling the stacking order or layering of content on a Web page is accomplished through z-indexing. Correctly positioned and z-indexed, the iframe could apear over the top of the .swf... the .swf in effect being the background... OR the iframe could appear behind the .swf and with a transparent section in the .swf, the iframe would appear through that hole. If there is navigation or links in the iframe, they will be blocked by the .swf though.
    http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_pos_z-index.asp
    But this may be an option....

    Dear Kvern and Sagpogov,
    Many thanks for your suggestion.
