Hi,
We need to close all open PO's without unreleasing and the open PO can be due to the following reasons.
1.On account of partial Qty left behind on preparation of GRIR ( Goods Reciept Note).
2.On account of certain Qty received and Buyer do not want the further Qty, to be delivered. We must able to close the PO
3.On account of Nothing is received against PO released to supplier,but Buyer want to close the PO.
Pl note that in all the above three cases ,we must be able to close the PO without unreleasing.
The existing transaction code MEMASSPO , needs reversal of released PO

You can build a program to use BAPI_PO_CHANGE to update the final delivery and final invoices flags, or the delete flag on PO lines which will 'close' those lines. I don't think the PO needs to be released in order to do this.

Reading your comments I do not see that rolling back to an insecure Firefox 22 will actually help you much. You are probably best using IE, unless you have also damaged that.

Most others will not be having such problems. We are now able to say that with confidence because after developers missed a regression in Firefox 4 telemetry was introduced so that data was obtained. It may be an idea to turn on your telemetry, if you have not already done so, and decide to stick with Firefox.

If you are getting the blank app update screen, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.

There's no good way to do it. But you don't need to. iOS 7 automatically handles whether an application takes up memory or has files open. There's no real advantage to you ever closing an application yourself.
If you are having problems with a particular app, please describe them.

See if any of these suggestions help you. They have worked for others in the past but YMMV.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

Closing all open folders

With system 9 I used to be able to close all open folders by holding down the Option key and clicking on the main folder.
That doesn't work anymore with OS X, is there another way to accomplish this.

I understand the key combination but it isn't doing what I want done.
I want to be able to close all folders that are open so when I re-open the Finder window all of the folders will be closed.
All the key command does for me is close the window, the folders are still open when I re-open the Finder window again.

Explorer.exe (?) crashing without warning, closing all open programs

Hello! I recently got a windows 8.1 computer and have been using it for only a week, but I've been having issues with what I can only assume is explorer.exe.
The taskbar will randomly completely disappear, leaving only a blue empty space at the bottom of the screen (possibly getting rid of my desktop background as well), close every program I have open without warning aside from the one I'm using at the time
(generally google chrome) and doesn't seem to restart itself on its own. I have to ctrl+alt+del to get to the task manager to manually start explorer.exe again, which works without an issue aside from possible lost unsaved progress from the closed
programs. I don't get any pop up saying windows has encountered any errors, it just does it for maybe no reason.
I can't think of why it would be doing this because again, I've only been using it for a week. It doesn't happen often, it's done it maybe two or three times but it seems it might not be stopping any time soon. I checked the reliability monitor and
it doesn't seem to recognise this issue as anything, nothing shows up for this. Any help to resolve this would be much appreciated, or even just finding out why it's doing it. Thank you!

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:
Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
Expand Custom Views
Click Administrative Events
Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
Upload the .zip file to Onedrive or a file sharing service and put a link to it in your next post
If you have updated to win 8.1 and you get the error message "the system cannot find the file specified" it is a known problem.
The work around is to edit the registry. If you are not comfortable doing this DONT. If you are, backup the key before you do
Press Win+"R" and input regedit
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels. Delete "Microsoft-Windows-DxpTaskRingtone/Analytic"

If I open more than one window, I can't close just one. When I try to close just one, I'm warned that I'm about to close more than one (all of them) but I'm not told how to close just one.

Are you sure you aren't getting tabs confused for windows? If you close a window containing multiple tabs, Firefox should give you a warning that you are about to close several tabs. To close a tab do one of the following:
* click the x at the right end of the tab (when you only have a few tabs open)
* open the tab you want to close, then click the x that appears
* right click the tab and select 'Close Tab'
* open the tab you want to close and press Ctrl+W
You can close a window using Ctrl+Shift+W.

Is there way to get to desktop through mini-icon or set icon without closing all open screens with XP professional?

I want to be able to go directly to desktop at times. Can a mini-icon be installed or is there a direct link already on the firefox screen?

many times discussed but never put to an end. Is there any app to close all apps in the multitaskbar without the jailbreak. i don't want to jailbreak my iphone.

I've just made an interesting discovery - Terminating an app in the recently used apps screen does not necessarily kill the background process that is associated with the app! I first suspected this was the case with Game Center, because my phone continued to use battery even after I "closed" it, until I went into settings and set a restriction on interactive games.
But yesterday I used the Yahoo Messenger app. When I was finished with it I closed it in the recently used ribbon. My battery still went down rapidly, however, and several hours later I got a "ping" and saw that I had an incoming message. YM still did not show in the Recently Used ribbon, but the app still appeared to be active. When I opened the app again and actually logged out my battery life went back to normal.

Closing Applet results in closing ALL open IE windows...

Hi everyone.
I have 2 programs that are virtually the same: one is simply an applet program, the other is an applet that opens the program up in a separate application window. The problem is that whenever either one is closed, every IE window that I have opened is closed. This does not happen in Netscape. I'm using JDK 1.4. If anyone has had this problem or knows where I could look to find out what is going on, let me know. Thank you!

The program is a drawing program that allows the user to draw an image online (kind of like paint). It uses a lot of Swing for the GUI. For the applet program that opens in a separate window, the applet itself that extends JApplet is very short - basically just calling the application which extends JFrame. It uses the MVC architecture, Observer, ActionListener, WindowEvents and MouseEvents. The application window is being closed by clicking on the X as defined by:
setDefaultCloseOperation(EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
This ends the applet, which I think will cause that .html page to close? (I'd like to work around that if possible). But the darn thing not only closes that window, but every other IE window I have open... I haven't seen an error that annoying in a while!
The applet one I just close down by closing the browser... again... ALL IE browsers close.

Thunderbird updated and closed all open tabs.

I often keep an email tab open as a reminder until I act on it. Sometimes I will have 10 or so tabs open at the same time.
Yesterday I left the house for several hours leaving my computer on. When I returned, both Thunderbird and Firefox were closed. They were open when I left.
When I opened Thunderbird, all of my open tabs were closed. I have no idea what they were and I could find no list of Recently Closed Tabs so I could reopen them. I can only assume that an update occurred in my absence and that's what was responsible for closing Thunderbird.
This used to happen with Firefox occasionally after an update but you seem to have fixed that. Please fix Thunderbird so that it never closes open tabs.

Bottom line is tabs live in a file called session.json. All sorts of privacy and "speedup" type tools delete this cached information. One of the really popular ones is CCleaner. In the case of Firefox they have an additional backups they can restore from, but it is only a matter of time before these same tools. but in the case of Thunderbird functionality is somewhat reduced. Manly I think because no one at the time thought people would come to rely on tabs. In the underlying code tabs are messy and really large parts of the "vision" await further attention. Thunderbird in reality only has one and the rest is smoke and mirrors hence my particular issues re reliability long term. Compose in a tab may see more work done on the tab part of the interface to make it more robust.
Having said that I have had issues with Firefox in the very recent past, but I also run nightly builds so expect issues most people never see. (Testing comes in many forms.)
Making your own backup of the session.json file is a workaround if you feel strongly enough, but personally I think saved search folders and tags are a much improved arrangement as most IMAP servers support them so your tags appear on your other devices as well.
My view is.
Tag mail as say "To do"
open find Ctrl+Shift+F
set a search criteria for tags contain "to do" set the folder and sub folder to search
click search to make sure your criteria is working and then click save as search folder.
Thunderbird now has a new folder which only contains your "to do" tagged mails. Search folders are a vastly under utilises feature (probably because no one knows they exist) but they make a lot of business type functions much easier. (they are what underlies the "unified" folder view {View menu > folders > unified} a collection of search folders.

Closing All Open Windows in One Go

Is there a way to close all windows in one go? Also is it possible to select various windows in the dock and just close them in one go, than going to each one and closing it manually?

Also, to close certain window selectively, type Command-` to rotate windows and Command-w to close them. It's probably quicker than what you're doing.

RE: Auto-closed all open Transfer requirements

User sometimes uses LT10 to move stock from Receiving area to bin.
Because of this, there are many open Transfer requirement.
Is there a way the system will closed off the transfer requirement?
In which User exit can this routine be setup?

One way of doing this is by marking open transfer requirements as completed in transaction LL01 (warehouse activity monitor).
To run the warehouse activity monitor, you will have to define the variants in customizing.
When you get this report running, double click on the line for 'Open Transfer Requirements'. In the next screen, click on the button 'TR status deliv. completed.'
Another was is to do this individually in transaction LB02.
To my knowledge, there is no user exit to automate this. Perhaps you can write a custom BDC on LL01 transaction and run the program on regular intervals (PS this way you may end up closing genuine or un-processed Transfer Requirements as well!)
