CMDTUX_CAT:866: ERROR: tmloadcf: Severe error found. Stop syntax

I am using Tuxedo 8.0 win 2k . I build my client and server of simpapp
But when I configure my ubbsimple file and tried to create tuxconfig file
It gave me this error:

Your error is of configuration and is not the PCKEY, you should define the solicited
addresses very well.
John Verifies these addresses:
APPDIR="d:\ashish\simpapp"
TUXCONFIG="d:\ashish\simpapp\tuxconfig"
TUXDIR="d:\bea\tuxedo8.0"
and the name of your Machine:
asap2000.ASAPDOMAIN LMID=simple
John defines only the name of your machine, and you should not indicate the domain.
I wait for that they serve you these suggestions.

    I don't see anything wrong with the output you posted.  But sounds like something is causing the parsing of the ubb file to terminate prematurely, syntax or otherwise.  Is there any additional detail in the ULOG or TUXLOG if it created them?

  • CMDTUX_CAT:866 error when running tmloadcf ubbsimple

    I am a DBMS support person trying to help a customer who need to link to our products from Tuxedo running on Windows 64 bit. I downloaded "tuxedo111120_64_win_2k8_x86_VS2008.exe" and installed. I have no licensing. I expected to get a trial download or perhaps be told how to do this but there was nothing.
    In any case I try to first get simpapp working so I then have something working to modify the linking, add a RM etc.
    The host I run from has a dashes in it, tsvm-2008-64. I excaped the "dashes" in the hostname in the ubbsimple.
    I get this error running "tmloadcf ubbsimple".
    CMDTUX_CAT:866: ERROR: tmloadcf: Severe error found. Stop syntax checking.
    The error says "something is wrong" but not a lot more useful. I played with the hostname but this does appear to be the problem from my experimentation.

    Hi,
    You do not need to escape the dashes in the host name. Instead you need to place the host name inside quotation marks. Thus your UBBCONFIG file should look like:

  • Error generating tuxconfig - CMDTUX_CAT:866: (Syntax Error on TUXPATH=)

    Hello Tuxedo Champions,
    I am trying to run a sample server and client that comes with Tuxedo installation. i.e. simpapp sample. In following the steps given by README file. In doing that, I have set and exported required paths through a shell file (that I created) pasted below:
    =======================================
    set TUXPATH=/home/sibusr/tuxedo11gR1/bin
    export TUXPATH
    set LIBPATH=/home/sibusr/tuxedo11gR1/lib

    export TUXCONFIG
    set TUXLIBPATH=/home/sibusr/tuxedo11gR1/lib
    export TUXLIBPATH

    I have then editted the ubbsimple file and it looks like:

  • CMDTUX_CAT:754: ERROR: error processing configuration file

    Hi Tuxedo Experts,
    I have compiled and linked sample code tuxedo client and server (simpapp). According to README, the next steps is running tmboot -y command. Does it start the simpserv tuxedo server? If not, how do I start that?
    Plus, when I ran this 'tmboot -y' command, I got the error:
    ===========================================
    $ tmboot -y
    tmboot: internal error: CMDTUX_CAT:754: ERROR: error processing configuration file
    tmboot: internal error: CMDTUX_CAT:1360: ERROR: configuration file not found
    ===========================================
    Would you please help me to resolve that.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ahsan Asghar

    Hi Ahsan,
    You skipped some steps. One of the first steps is to set the environment variables given in the README. This is normally done by creating a script you can execute in the future, often called setenv.sh. After creating this script and executing like:
    . ./setenv.sh
    then you need to edit the sample UBBCONFIG file which for simpapp is called ubbsimple. This file contains the Tuxedo configuration information. You will need to replace the things in <> with ones appropriate for your system. The machine name should be the same as the output of the uname -n command.
    Once you've edited the file, it needs to be compiled with the tmloadcf command. Then you should be able to boot and run your application.

  • G3 imac can't update past 10.4.6 "errors found during update"

    I'm issues with a slot-loading g3 imac updating past 10.4.6 (the version i installed from the dvd). the boot rom number is 4.9.f1. I tried to format after the first incident to no avail. It runs pretty good as is but I need to get Ilife 08 on it(which claims to need 10.4.10 i believe). The first go at this I ran software update, it updated everything but the 10.4.11 combined, which rendered my Itunes unusable because it needs 10.4.9 or later. I even went as far as just downloading the 10.4.7 combined update with the same outcome. Instalation on the os x update runs normal and the just stops, saying there were errors found try updating again.
    Please help!!!
    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

    A G3 won't see more than 128 GB of a drive. You can put in a larger drive but the computer won't see anything beyond the first 128GB, not even if you partition. I know with G4s you can put in ATA PCI cards which will allow you to use bigger drives, and there's a utility called [SpeedTools|http://www.speedtools2.com> which is a software solution (read carefully before using as there are drawbacks vs. hardware).
    A hard drive is one place where I am hesitant about buying used, especially if it is one that is the same vintage as your computer with who knows how many hours on it. I am saying this because I don't think if you buy new that you will find anything less than 7200, 8MB, 160 GB, etc. I also see people asking $30 for used 120GB drives, and you can get a new 160GB drive for not much more if you hunt around and fill out your rebate coupons.
    You can get a bigger drive, use the first 128 GB with this computer, then when you get a new computer move the drive into it and use the whole thing (assuming you get a computer that supports big drives as just about any computer made in the past 4 years will do).
    Personally I like Seagate drives, but you'll get all kinds of responses on this.
    Since this is moving more into the hardware realm you might consider reposting the issue in the imac and/or G3 forum.
    Oh, one more thing, I wouldn't necessarily kiss the drive goodbye. If you have given up on directory repair why not try reformatting it with the erase option (to do a scan for bad blocks) and see if it still has some life left in it? I am still running two 120GB drives in this computer, at least one of which is 5 years old.

  • Yosemite - multiple errors - found FileVault error - Solution found

    My early 2013 13" MBP Retina with a 700GB SSD suddenly started having multiple minor errors immediately after upgrading to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, and accepting default FileVault encryption for hard drive. 700GB drive has 600GB of data o it with 100GB free.
    1) Mail started freezing and hat to be Force Quit.
    2) Mail would show no internet connection and would re-enage after being Force Quit.
    3) Iphone 5 would not connect or sync
    4) All photos remaining on iphone 5 were scattered and disorganized throughout multiple files
    5) Screensaver continuously reverted to National Geographic. Had to be reset every day to Aperture photo file.
    6) Internet wiFi connection dropped off continuously every 5 minutes for no apparent reason.
    7) Machine "crashed' on a daily basis for no apparent reason
    I checked the forums and completed the following actions:
    a) completed disk utility verifying and repairing permissions and disks - no fix (errors found requiring restart command R and unlock disk with "File" at top of page.
    b) completed PRAM reset with restart command, option, PR - no fix
    c) completed SMC reset , shift control, option power - nil fix
    d) completed memory test with restart command D (short 5 mins) (long 40 mins) memory ok - nil fix
    e) completed re-install off of the internet with restart command R 9 (four hours) - nil fix
    f) checked System Preferences, Security and Privacy, FileVault and found it stuck at encryption at 20% of bar with a message to connect AC power.
        Ac power was already connected. Changed power supply - no change. Forums said PRAM reset with immediate Command R, unlock drive with upper tool bar
        "File" and "Unlock" command. Restart. FileVault encryption resumed showing 30 hours remaining. Froze again after 5 minutes. Repeated steps in f); FileVault
        resumed. Ran for one hour, then stopped again. Repeated steps in f); File Vault resumed and ran for 12 hours; with time estimates changing from 3 days to 10
         minutes and back to 3 days and back to 2 hours; until File Vault showed "encryption complete". As a precaution, completed PRAM reset, Command R disk utility,
         unlock HD, verify permissions, verify disk, restart; "Turn Off FileVault". Four hours to decrypt computer. Restart, reset PRAM, reset SMC.
    Requesting a proper knowledge base fix?
    Results to follow.
    My time is valuable.
    Thank you for burning up 3 days of my life.

  • IllegalStateException: Internal Servlet Session Process Error Found!

              I keep getting the annoying error as listed, and the server also keeps reporting

              type of frustrations on 8.1 sp2, or can explain them.
              With as much detail omitted for simplicity;
              Frustration 1.
              I have a 8sp2 server running all ok, occasionally after a redeploy of an ear file
              I attempt to load a jsp file, and the error below is thrown.
              The JSP has a bean which is session based, and as from following the stack trace
              it is around some weblogic code which tests if my license allows access to the
              http session (on a developer license). I then have to start another server instance
              and do a deployment of a v.simple war, and access this, then deploy the same war
              to the broken server and access that, then the initial jsp works fine. no code
              changes just environment stops, starts and redeploys!
              Frustration 2
              Server runs ok, tray and connect from two machines (I have an ldap server that
              wants to 'broadcast' messages to my server), error of too many connections.
              The ip connection issues can in most cases be removed with a server restart.
